As Freya hugged and begged Lexcifure she felt his strong hands on her shoulder. She hoped for him to look at her and say something comforting but instead he pushed her back. She was forced to release her grip around his waist as he pushed her away and stumbled past. The thing seemed to be making him weaker not stronger. Freya was concerned but powerless to do anything as he walked towards Blanc. Lexcifur barely made it to him when he collapsed. Freya rushed to his side once more as he converted back to normal, or mostly normal, his right eye remained the same. Freya hugged him again before casting a few healing spells, something to restore his energy and then something to restore his magic. With that done she helped him to his feet. He looked at her for a moment then away, quietly apologizing. "It's okay, you didn't hurt me, or anyone for that matter. We are fine. I am just concerned about you. That darkness, there was something weird about it. I don't want you getting hurt." Freya explained. She then took a step towards the exit. "We should leave before your mother decides to return." Concern was apparent in her voice not knowing what to do about Xero's appearance here. Alisia was about to start telling the story again. She wanted to keep both her and Audrey's mind off of what was happening but before she could even speak, an order from Dane. Alisia's eyes widened at his order. She didn't want to doom Audrey's mom. This was so wrong. She didn't even know if she could control the time of her Doom counter. She had only ever done ten seconds whihc seemed to be the default. Alisia's hands trembled as she cast the spell. Surprisingly it worked, it was set for ten minutes Audrey started to yell her protest and Alisia looked at the girl almost in tears. "I am so sorry. I don't have a choice. She has plenty of time to defeat him. She will be fine...." Alisia tried to comfort. She saw another creepy person coming towards them and Alisia could only say one last thing. "Stay safe Audrey please." With that Alisia turned around and started to sprint away the best she could. She hadn't gotten more than a few steps before Audrey grabbed onto her trying to make her not leave. "I can't stay any longer! Don't you get that!" She yelled at the young girl before prying her off of her and running again. This had lost her precious escape time. The battle would be over any minute. She had to get far enough away that no one could find her, and she had to do it now. Gwen was in shock at Hunters reveal but at the same time not really all that surprised. He had been acting like Bloodlust Hunter for a little while now. Gwen rolled her eyes at him. "I suppose I should say it is nice to see you." Gwen commented as she put her hands in the back pockets of her pants. She was fighting off the urge to hug him to be honest, it was nice to see a familiar face again. She might have hated him but at the same time it was nice to see him and he was about the only friend she could even claim she had. This was of course prime time for Beuce to appear. Hunter made a comment about him being Dante, Beuce said something about Nero and Gwen responded to both of them with four simple words. "It's Beuce you idiot." With that she pulled out her guns. She needed a bit of extra mana. She looked at the rest of her team. Everyone go for that kid, Hunter and I will handle Beuce." She ordered as she started rapidly firing bullets in his direction taking no time between shots. Her method of fighting now was quick and efficient. "So still think you can beat me in kill count?" Gwen said with a small wink. Now that she knew that it was Bloodlust Hunter she could have a lot more fun with him, and no Hunter not in that way. Sick of waiting for an answer from the frozen man Sapphire turned her attention elsewhere, to Ghost to be exact as he requested help. Sapphire did as he asked and searched the man in questions mind for answer to what was going on. What she found was it was the sun that was causing him to heal. "Ghost listen closely, the sun is what is what is making him heal. I will send you some help, but after this fight it will turn on you and you will have to fight it. This has gotten too far and I must put an end to it." Sapphire commanded as she summoned a Giant Phoenix to go to the world and block the sun. With that sent off she turned to Phantom and Avi summoning a Griffon. "I am sending you two to the Great forest in order to stop the movement there. We are using more forceful measures this time." She explained to them.
"Go on without me. I need to take care of something first." Freya stared at Lexcifur with sad eyes for a moment actually considering leaving like he ordered. Blinking she shook the thought from her mind. That was crazy, she would never. Freya stood her ground and looked over at Xero then back to Lexcifur. "I don't want to fight you auntie but I made a vow to watch over Lexcifur and use my powers to protect him in whatever way possible, in this case against you. I am sorry. " Freya spoke to Xero, the woman she used to think of as an aunt. She then turned to Lexcifur to support him the only way she knew how, through healing, shields, buffs, and general support magic. Freya watched in shock and horror as the battle raged on. It was unclear who was going to win but eventually Xero got the upper hand. Lexcifur lay against a wall with Xero's scythe to his neck. "Auntie no!" She cried out as Lexcifur seemed to regain himself and knock her back. Xero seemed like she was in a lot of pain and Freya desperately wanted to heal her, but she knew if she did that Lexcifur would be dragged back home before he was ready and Freya would remain behind to remeet up with her brother, and then what. What where they to do? Would they return home too or would she keep wandering with Zavion while they wondered if their mother had killed Lexcifur at last or not. The scene quickly changed to something new. Lexcifur was in pain but he hadn't been attacked. Freya tried to heal him but her spells had no effect. "W-what is happening?" She stuttered nervous as a ghostly figure appeared behind him and eventually manifested in a solid form. Lexcifur was still in pain but said he would use the power. Freya couldn't believe what she had heard. He looked up, his face had changed, dark veins ran through it and his eye was a different colour. Freya did not get a good vibe from this. She didn't like the aura that the darkness gave off. Almost without thinking she ran to him, hugging him. "Don't use it. Please. You must sense that something is off with that darkness as I do. Please, what if it does something to you that you can't change? Don't use it Lexcifur. If you need help against your mom let me fight rather than just support. Just don't use it." Freya begged him. The man of light tried to stop them. He attempted to keep them at bay so he could do his will. He wanted them to simply allow him to follow, that wasn't going to happen. The group soon got back to battling, but Xander could see this wasn't going far. "He has to have a weakness somewhere..." Xander mumbled to himself as he pondered ways to battle a man like this. A man of light who they could't do much to damage him. Xander himself was neither of light or dark. He didn't ally himself on either side. Would that give him the upper hand? Probably not. As long as light and dark battle they would be equal, they were equals in a sense. So what if they took away the light? No that would be difficult. Perhaps he just needed to be faster than light. Again probably not. With no clear answer in view Xander stepped back into action to try to do something worth while. Thinking was not getting him anywhere. He gave a small nod to the others before moving towards a place to hid around the back of Crybex. A surprise attack from the back may prove beneficial, maybe not but it was better than doing nothing.
Silvia helped Sara up and grunted as Sara put all her weight on her. Silvia was not strong by any means. She moved past being frail a while ago but on the other side of that her physical strength was not high at any means. Then Sara began to speak with her first saying that she was not the old man. Silvia looked up into the woman's eyes studying for any sign of a concussion, something that might have made her think that she was. Seeing nothing right away she decided to shake it off as possibly just shock, however that didn't mean Silvia wouldn't keep an eye on her. Sara then went on to ask why she was helping her and what she had to gain. She also mentioned leaving her to save herself. Silvia was kind of shocked at the response and at first didn't know what to say. What did she have to gain? Nothing she never even thought about it. How was she to explain why she did what she did. "There is nothing to gain for this." Silvia said as she helped Sara move forward. "I don't do it for my own gain. I just..." She hesitated not quite sure where she was going with this. "... I can't stand death, to know someone died before their time, before they can become something they are proud of. Especially when they haven't seen it in themselves so far. I was born into a home where I grew up learning medicines, and know healing magic. If I don't use it to save lives whenever I can... Then what is the point of me?" Silvia explained. She herself never believed she had anything worth living for but others did. She was just the one to make sure they got there, no matter what the cost to her. Finally it came to the question Silvia was never able to answer herself. Why risk your life for others? Silvia thought carefully about the answer. "Because.... I deserve the punishment." She finally answered. She didn't know what happened to her father but she knew deep down that her mom blamed her for it. As she grew older she had seen people get hurt and die trying to protect their town, her, and her mother. Her town was targeted for it''s wealth. However she and her mom were no wealthy, in fact they where in debt to the town for the charity they had been shown. Many people felt bad for them and helped them out, and when it came to the town getting attacked they were the first to get protection. And why? She was nothing, she didn't deserve it. She started spending most of her time trying to repay the debt she felt she owed but couldn't. She had nearly died, t ultimate repaying of debt, but someone took the blow for her. She was just in one more persons debt. She deserved any punishment she got, so if she could take someone else's than she would. And then perhaps she see herself as someone worth saving. But as it stood she wasn't. She would continue working harder than anyone else to help them and maybe, one day she could get there. "I will take whatever punishment or misfortune if it means someone else retains the right to live and discover what they are meant to be." Silvia finished saying as they reached the hole and she lead Sara through first. Thomas used Fire
The fire quickly spread around Thea catching not just that section of the library on fire but the entire library soon became engulfed in blue flames. The young girl stood stunned not quite sure what she had done. Everything was on fire and she couldn't stop it. She had done this... She had set her favourite place on fire because she had a small freak out, because she hat broke the rules. Thea stared wide eyed at the flames, a brighter blue than her own eyes. A voice called to her from the distance but she couldn't shake the shock long enough to focus on what was being said. A few more calls and she came to her senses and clued into the voice she heard. Balthar... The man who was supposed to protect her and her family. She loved him and was now terrified that he would get hurt because of her. She didn't want to hurt him. She didn't want to hurt anyone. What had she done? Thea began to run towards his voice through the burning building. She passed one of the libraries who was killed in the fire. She began to cry as she ran. Soon one of the bookshelves collapsed in front of her. She let out a shriek as she jumped back out of the way. She closed her eyes and started to try to run without looking, the flames couldn't hurt her but the smoke sure could. Thea got out of the building soon after. She was choking and coughing and crying. She looked up and saw Balthar, leg swollen and looking worse for wear. He had taken a few people out with him, all people she had hurt. Looking up she saw a couple cops standing over her looking at the young girl with fear and anger. They soon grabbed her arms and restrained them behind her back. "Balthar help me. I am sorry!" Thea cried out as she was scared. She was scared of her powers, she was scared of these men, she was scared of what she had done. "That is enough gentlemen, leave her alone." A deep raspy voice said from behind her, it was her father. As soon as the men released her she went running to her fathers arms crying and coughing. She buried her head in his chest and cried. "I'm sorry daddy. I didn't mean to. I swear." Her father didn't react however. He watched as medics came to Balthars aid and nodded him off before heading towards home. Back at home Thea was locked in her room for the night and her father paced around the room in which they housed Balthar. He lived on site and now would be healing on site. Though her knew that Balthar might not be in commission for a while he needed someone to talk to about the matter. "She still has yet to get her magic under control and is a danger to society, only increasing the fear of magic. I love my daughter and know she doesn't mean to but still the problem is the same." He stopped pacing and stroked his beard. "She is to have no visitors or go out at all until she can get her magic under control. I hate to admit it but she is undoing everything we have worked towards since we located her. I have gotten a letter recently about a kid looking for work as a guard. I am going to contact him and see if he still wants the job. You can use some help in your current state." With that he walked off to his office to write two letters, one to the king explaining the events that just conspired. The other letter to the boy Kyle offering him a position if he still wanted it.
The scene before Karina faded into darkness leaving her standing there with nothing to do. However it quickly changed to a different scene. This one instead of being an image of her heart it was an image of her mind. This place was dangerous. As she stepped forward a vicious back creature appeared before her snapping and snarling. It was the promenent thing in this space so it seemed. However it was not the only thing that occupied this space a girl, similar to the one that was in her other vision was in the corner. She didn't cower as much here but was driven back into a corner. She sniffed and was clearly a more upset person but she did't take much dominace. If these were her emotions where was the happiness? There was nothing around her to resemble happiness. Was she really that dark in her mind? Karina scanned the dark more for anything else there. A locked door to her heart was ther, something that was rusted as though no one had entered it in many years. Everything about her was based around her mind. Everything around the anger and sadness, but mainly anger. If other emotions resided in her mind they had hidden themselves in fear. A gavel was also found in her mind to symbolize how she judged others, but that was not only it, how she judged herself. This was not what she thought she would see stepping into her own mind and it was kind of disturbing. She looked away from it all. She was a monster, just by thinking this the anger in her mind grew. She was feeding it. This scene also finally faded and in the darkness she was left to ponder all that she saw. She didn't know what to think of all this. How was see such things going to help her? She could figure anything out. The darkness soon lifted as a weight seemed to engolf her. She was back in her human body. She could feel someone holding her up. Slowly she raised her heavy eyelids to look around. A man was talking to them and Stratos was at her side holding her up. She looked at him and quitely thanked him as she attempted to stand on her own. Her body felt far to heavy to stand on its own and soon she found herself leaning on Stratos once again for support. "I-I don't know what happened..." Her voice tired and raspy. She then listened only slightly to what the man was saying. "It is important because we need to fulfil a promise. I-I need to atone for things as well, and this is the starting point." Karina explained as she looked a way. She knew the pain of paying the price for her actions, now she needed to avoid paying it again, or else it would come with far more pain than what was caused with the two scars on her back. If she could only be good enough. If she could only be better than she could avoid the punishment... she hoped.
Silvia simply hugged her friend and held her close until she spoke. "I don't know... I don't think she did it on purpose but still. She has hurt so much." Silvia lightly placed her hand on Skadi's now wrapped arms. Silvia then looked around at the distruction that lay around her. "It scares me. What if it gets worse? What if she hurts more people. I don't understand." Silvia said sounding upset and scared. As Silvia let go of her friend she looked over to see Sara injured. "You run with the rest. I am going to help her!" Silvia inisted as she ran to Sara's aid. "I am sorry I couldn't help sooner." Silvia said as she stopped beside Sara kneeling down to heal her. Silvia started working her healing magic on Sara, pouring all her concentration into healing. "You will be okay, I promise." Silvia said as she continued to work her medicine. She soon reached into her bag and pulled out a small pill. "It will help the pain." She explained. With that done she offered to help Sara up. They had to get out of there as soon as possible. Thea felt the warm embrace of the same girl who yelled at her. Her voice was soothing, almost motherly as she tried to hush her crying. It settled from sobs to tears and sniffles. Part of this was just because of the surprise of the reaction and change. She liked it, liked the comfort but at the same time she was still scared that the only reason that Alessia was being nice was to keep her from hurting people again. The other worry was, what would Evanora think? This was supposed to be like a test and she probably failed. What would happen to her if she was kicked out of the guild? She had no where to go and no one would take her with her destructive magic. Not long after Alessia was trying to get her up and saying they needed to move. Thea looked around and saw the full damage of what she had done and she felt more guilty than she thought she could handle. Thea attempted to keep herself together, not to cry as she got to her feet with Alessia's help. Her knees shook and she was still in pain but she was going to follow Alessia because what other choice did she have? She used her free hand to wipe some tears from her face, but gripped Alessia tight with her other hand. As they started running Thea looked up to talk to Alessia quietly. "I am sorry... I really didn't mean to." Thea's voice was small and weak as she talked but more clear than it had been. Thomas got hit with a potion and looked down for the cause... Caleb. "Hey dude I know you are jealous about how I can get girls and how good I am with them, but that doesn't mean you have to be throwing crap at me in the middle of battle.... Unless it is my jar of dirt. As Dawn said I think there is something in it. I want to open it up and examine it." Thomas stated looking down at Caleb. One advantage of being hit with the potion, he was brought back from his stunned state. "You know to thank you for drawing me out of my stunned state, I will do you a favour and teach you some stuff about girls. How would you like that?" He asked. With that he turned his attention back to Ken. "And you! What kind of ****** throws a sword at people and stuns them. That is just a dick move dude." Thomas complained as he aimed his gun at Ken. He took his time aiming the best he could before shooting a bolt of thunder at him. "Shocking isn't it?" He said making a very bad but intentional pun.

Though the flames died down the damage that Thea had caused didn't. Screams of those around her still echoed in the young girls mind as she knelt curled up on the ground crying. She didn't mean for this to happen she just wanted to have a little fun. Her mind flashed to the time as a child she had snuck off to the library to read. Someone tried to tell her to leave and she got annoyed and accidentally caught the place on fire. She had injured so many people that day, even killed some. But all she wanted to really do was read. She didn't mean to hurt anyone. As she sat there some one at last approached her, but not to help her in any way but to yell at her, asking her why, accusing her of still being Ezekiel's pawn. As Alissia continued to yell at her she realized she had just blown her only shot of actually being accepted here. When the mission was over she may as well leave. There was no place for her there, there never was and she was stupid to think any differently. "I-I don't know what happened... I am scared... I couldn't control it. Please don't hate me." The girl sobbed. She was then ordered to look at the damage she had caused to Skadi Thea didn't want to but looked up anyways. The girl was injured fairly badly because of her. This only intensified Thea's crying. "I'm sorry. I-I don't know how to handle it." She said speaking of course of her flames and her lack of control over them. Through this entire time a pain lingered in her chest, one that was more intense than it had been any other time her magic hadn't gone off when she thought it should. "I-It hurts." Was the only other thing that could be caught between Thea's sobs as she gripped her arm and pressed it against the part of her chest which felt as though it was burning. Her mind flashed back to her parents and when she had killed them. The smoke and the fire in the house and the screams. Similar screams to what still rung in her mind now. She slowly looked down at her hands removing them from her chest. Were these the hands of a monster?
Silvia didn't have time to respond to Jack before Thea's magical explosion but now that it was over she quietly spoke to him. "I-I'm okay, nothing magic couldn't heal." This however was a lie in some senses, physically she was okay now, thanks to her magic, but mentally she was not in such good shape. The entire thing really shook her to the very core of her being. She feared a young girl even though she knew it wasn't her fault. Silvia then felt the need to answer what Jack was asking earlier. "I blush when I say something that I realize I probably shouldn't." She explained. "It's not that you are scary, just that... I am not good at talking to people." She finished her explanation. Then he made a suggestion to her. Something she had done twice now with people in the guild, but both times with people she knew well enough to trust at that point. People she felt some sort of connection to. Jack was not one of these people. Not knowing what to tell him on the subject Silvia just got scared. "Uh.. um I have to go sorry!" She said leaving him be. Silvia had only made it a couple feet away and then she saw one of her only friends kneeling, crying and in pain. Silvia panicked slightly and ran to her side. Silvia had heard Skadi's creams before, but they did not register as her own mind was flooded with screams of her own, just less were verbalized. As she knelt there with her friend her own screams still rang in her head reminding her of her new found fear. Her fear of Thea, the twelve year old miss lead ice mage. Silvia examined Skadis wounds which turned out to be far worse than hers were. She started by casting Esuna to try to limit the burning sensation a little. She then proceeded to cast a steady stream of cure magic with one hand, while the other searched a small bag of medicine she carried around with her brought from home. As she drew one thing of a type of past and two herbs she stopped casting the magic so she could pour a little of each into one of her hands. Mixing the ingredients around she then smeared them on the burns. "An herbal remedy to help the pain and healing. Unfortunately I won't be able to heal the scars. I can make you something back at the guild to make them less visible though." Silvia explained before wrapping bandages around Skadi's arms. As it seemed, in this situation she was completely calm, working fast and efficient. It was the only thing she was really good at doing so she knew how to work under pressure. It also took her mind off of Thea, the main cause of her fear. " I am sorry I couldn't do more." Silvia said finishing her healing and now moved to just hugging her friend.
Gwen stood over Snow with her cannon now fully charged ready to finish him off. She had enough fun flirting now it was time to end this silly thing... That was when Hunter came in. He and Snow started fighting, Hunter with his crazy named moves and Snow with his steel Guard. It was the stupidest move ever but it did allow time for Gwen to admire his well toned muscles. Damn those where nice, though that still didn't make him the hero he claimed to be. Gwen simply stood back and watched the show. The end of said show took an unexpected turn for the worse though. As Hunter went to make another ridiculous named attack he pulled out a chainsaw and lopped the poor lad in half. What the serious hell Hunter. The comment made after said destruction of man was even more surprising. This Hunter actually cared about who hit on her? Gwen simply rolled her eyes at him. "Geez you are starting to sound like Bloodlust Hunter." She proclaimed not saying however that she far preferred Bloodlust Hunter to this Hunter. They had some sort of connection so st speak. It was kind of creepy to be honest, yet for some strange reason she kind of liked it. Alisia sat down as was requested of her to listen to Danes story the entire way through. It was not what she expected to hear however that didn't excuse him by any means. He was still a bad person who killed people. He spoke about the reason behind destroying the planets. "You aren't destroying just planets, objects, you are destroying people and homes. Taking away everything from people! You don't even have the decency to kill everyone leaving no one to suffer. You leave that one child alive to be traumatized just like you were, and try to control them. You aren't a scared little boy, you are a monster and that will never change and nothing you can say will make me willingly chose to end someones life. I don't want to become the monster you are!" She spoke back to Dane as finished speaking to her. She stood up and started to back away as Juliet came forward to confront Dane. Alisia turned around to see Audrey sitting alone looking nervous about what might happen with her mom. Alisia walked over and sat beside her. "Perhaps now is a good time to finish our story." She said over top of Luciens yelling at them for not looking for the hero at the moment. She supposed that was kind of her fault, if she hadn't run away then things wouldn't have slown down like they have. This didn't however mean that she would stop trying to run away from Dane. She couldn't afford to stop trying to run away from Dane. As she told him, he was a monster attempting to make her like him. She couldn't let that happen. She needed an escape. Freya had no words to speak with Xero there. She got a greetings message passed along from her mother. This was not something that seemed surprising since it was her mother who sent Xero here. So much for her mother leaving them alone like she was promised. Freya tried to regain her focus as she listened to Lexcifur and Xero's conversation. She seemed to want him to leave and he didn't seem to want to . Freya wasn't surprised by this since she had been trying for years to convince him to go home with her and he refused to return to Riel ever again. Freya thought back to the last time she had seen Xero, her last day on Riel. Spoiler: Queue flash back because it is the cool thing to do Freya sat near the front of the the crowd at the execution of her brothers friend, and in some ways her friend too. Freya being the daughter of the goddess was given one of the highest honours but it came with a price, she had no friends of her own. Unlike her brother she was proud of her position but still sometimes loneliness kicked in and she adopted Lucifer as her friend as well. More than that she kind of liked him. So that being said this day was horrible for her. Where Freya was housed was slightly raised and surrounded by guards to reduce threats on her life. It wouldn't have been a first if she was attacked for who she was. Not many dared to but few people would not caring about the consequences. Freya looked over the crowd from where she stood spotting Xero below. Freya felt so bad for Xero, she had become like an aunt to her and she couldn't imagine what she might have been going through at this time. The charges were soon read out and Freya forced her attention to the boy she had grown increasingly fond of. She adjusted the ruffles on her skirt as a nervous habit. Damn why did her mother insist on her dressing up for any public event she was to attend. She was the goddess' daughter and had to act the part. The only problem was, she hated the skirt. As the sword was raised by her own mother Freya's heart stopped. She began to run forward to the rail of the platform she stood on and screamed out. One of her guards grabbed her pulling her back trying to muffle her screams. "No mom you can't do this! Leave Lucifur alone! I will take his punishment!" She didn't know where the last words came from but she didn't regret them. Tears filled her eyes as she watched Gexln be pushed back by one of her mothers creations. One of her own guards still held onto her tight to prevent her from running to his side or trying to protect him. However she was released as soon as Lucifer moved and broke free of the chains. Her guards flocked to keep the crowds away and at bay while her mother dealt with the situation. When they where clear out of her sight Freya ran down the stairs and towards the center where Lucifer and her mother was facing down. She could only watch as his arm was cut off followed by him getting stabbed. Once again Freya cried out but her voice was drowned out by Lucifer's. As soon as her brother jumped into help she took his lead. Freya wasn't much of a fighter but she could help him. Freya ran behind her brother to Lucifer side starting to heal his arm the best she could. Tears dripped down her face as she tried to help him the best she could. She glared at her mother but she couldn't hate her for it. She knew that Lucifer and broken the law. She held Lucifer close and listened to the screams of people around for help. The guards were getting a little rough do to the situation at hand. There was screams from everyone including Xero and Gexln, ones deep in there heart. It was too much. She sat there crying and waited for her brothers help to move Lucifer. She knew that this was a bad situation but regardless she would follow and protect both of them the best she could. If Lucifer went, so did Zavion and she wasn't going to let the two of them go off on their own, it wasn't safe. They needed someone to support them and keep them down to earth. Freya came back from her memories to hear one very bad thing. Though in his anger a certain name slipped Lexcifurs mouth revealing her identity to the rest of the group. It was a mixed effort of Xero referring to her mother and Lexcifur saying outright the name that brought about this revelation. Freya panicked as Jackie clued into her identity. Jackie seemed to be jumping between excited about that and confused what to do, if she was her enemy or not. She bit her lip and only relaxed when Jackie moved onto the subject of Xero but that still left her with a problem for later. "You idiot." She said through telepathy to Lexcifur.
