"Hey, I'll have you know I stole the Angelic tears for a very good reason!" "Save it," Sota said, sitting down and getting his notebook out, "I don't want to know your reason right now." Before everyone knew it, 3 pm rolled around. Sota started heading back to the school to meet with Kairi.
One of the girls placed her hands on Kairi's, "Be careful around him, okay, Kairi? He's never been right since his parents passed...we don't know much, either, but they say that they were killed right in front of him." The other girl spoke up, "If you two are hanging out, make sure he's not using you, or anything like that." Sota finally got to the observatory. He looked up. He could see Mikeru's comet starting to come into view. "So, that's Mikeru's comet, eh? Only saw that thing once, and it was a real doozey." Sota was not pleased to hear Dark's voice, "After stealing in my sleep, I'd think you'd stay silent longer."
They just shrugged, "We just know he was arrested a few times for fighting." Sota sneezed. He quickly blew his nose, and proceeded to the observatory, where his job was.
One of the girls spoke up, "Kairi, you know Sota's had trouble with the law, right?" Sota dropped With off in his apartment, "Okay, With, stay here and be good, okay?" With looked down, "kyuuu...."
The girls looked at each other a little nervously, "You do know about Sota, right?" Sota and With were walking back to Sota's apartment.
Sota smiled, "Thanks, Kairi. Let's go, With." With looked at Kairi as they were left the cafeteria. The two girls sighed in relief as he left.
"Kyuu," said With. It tried to snuggle closer with Kairi. The two girls were still watching Kairi concerned, "Do you two hang out often?" Sota got to the table, pretending that With ran off on his own, "There you are, With! We need to get going or we're going to be late!" The two girls paused for a moment, since Sota was there.
The girl blinked, "Sota's? As in, the guy who sits in our class, Sota?" A couple of the girls started looking at each other, concerned, "Why does his rabbit like you so much, Kairi?" Sota could see where this was going. He walked back into the cafeteria.
"Kyuuu...," With closed his eyes and smiled as Kairi pet his head. Sota smiled at how well this turned. One of the girls stared at With, "Who's rabbit is that?", she asked.
Any suggestions?
Sota smiled and raised an eyebrow as With rubbed his head alongside Kairi's.
Sota watched from the entrance as With smiled at the girls. With hopped over to Kairi, and perched himself on her shoulder.
Too bad; you don't know what you're missing. XDD
Sota looked back as he left. He saw that Kairi wasn't doing too well about the conversations about Dark... With started to stir. He woke up, and looked up at Sota. "Kyuu?" Sota looked at With, "I don't suppose you know how to help her out, do you?" With saluted, "Kyuu!" and hopped out of Sota's arms. He quickly hopped his way back into the cafeteria, and onto the same table the girls who were talking to Kairi were. He looked at several of the girls and smiled. "Kyuuuu," he said.
Sota heard a little bit about the conversation, particularly about Dark. He saw Kairi look at him. Sota slightly shook his head, looked towards the exit of the cafeteria, and then left the cafeteria, with his sandwitches and With, still sleeping in his arms.
Sota saw Kairi, but before he could even react, a bunch of girls sat around her. He tilted his head slightly, confused.
Believe me, I do. Today was my last day, too. And I've still got: Final on Tuesday x2 Final on Wednesday x2 Final on Thursday If I can get through those in one piece, then I can walk.
