Colton fell still as he heard what Shane had said that happened to Carter. A robot was on the fritz and killed him... The robot that he messed with. Colton went paler than he already was as the realization hit him. He had failed the young mother. He couldn't protect Carter. He didn't do a damn thing to help the kid in the end. Once again his thoughts were confirmed that he was nothing more than a failure, a desperate failure. Coltons mind went blank as he felt he needed to get out now. The locks on the wheels of Mai's bed clicked up as Colton used his push pull ability to unlock the wheels. He needed to get out but Lyle knew his object manipulation ability so chances were it wouldn't work on the lock on their cell. Instead he came up with a different idea. He needed to draw a robot in to open the door. He would again use his push/pull ability to move a table into the way of the door closing. As soon as he could dispatch the robot him and Mai would run. Anger filled Coltons eyes as he took off the breathing mask he was wearing and got out of bed, doing what he could to destroy what it was attached to while still making it look like an accident. Surely if he destroyed his medicine they would have to come in. That is when he would make the escape. It would work. It had to work. He was getting them out of their whether the other two knew it or not. Colton had dropped connection with both of them soon after his break down. He may have looked calm and in control but there was nothing left in his mind. It was all just a big mess. "Limitations on this? Well my work is flawless but because of the placement there might be some delay between your mind getting attacked and it kicking in. But a second or two won't kill you. Besides it gives them false hope and that is so much fun!" Isabella explained as she tucked her hair behind her ears and got to work on the tattoo he had asked for. She didn't pay much attention to Kye as the girls words never seemed to make much sense. "So Colton did that to you? Well I will be sure to punish him but only when I need him for experiments again. Right now he is Lyle's problem. Surprised your creepy girlfriend hasn't dealt with him already though." Isabella stated as she continued to work. "Ah done! Let me wrap that for you, but it should take effect soon." Isabella put her stuff down and got up, running off to collect the bandages and tape she needed to cover the fresh tattoo, in as happy of a mood as any despite everything that has happened. "Well.... It is getting too late to start my next experiment now. It was supposed to take all day! Oh well Shane got off lucky I guess." Isabella stated as she finished bandaging the tattoo and looked to Lukey for what was to be next. A frown crossed Brendan's face when the plan was laid out. Brendan had wanted to go into the building, be the one to plug in the virus so he could get full access to their computers as well, but the more he thought about it the more sense that Errols plan made. If he went into the building it would be a dangerous place. He would be at risk and if he got caught then the others wouldn't have someone to communicate back to effectively. Brendan being a high level Telepath and a skilled hacker made the outside work a lot easier. He could easily keep mental connections with everyone. If he had to get a little closer he could do that and get information by innocently bumping into someone then leaving. And most of all if he could hack the systems he would have eyes and ears everywhere while no one could track him. He could give instructions to everyone and warn them when they needed to be warned without putting himself in danger where there was a chance that someone would stop him from doing such things. Brendan nodded at Errol with an understanding of the plan. He then looked over at Danni. He didn't think she should go but he wasn't going to tell her that. He could tell she needed more rest and didn't want her to push herself, especially when things were dangerous. They were going into a place that knew more about their kind then many people here, with one who was a telepath herself. This wasn't going to be as easy as it sounded, and he knew that he just hoped everyone else knew that as well. "Fair enough." Was all that Jason had in response to Benjamins decision. He knew Cynthia was not a child anymore but for her to now be completely out of his care scared him a bit. She was a young woman now, but a dangerous young woman, and in his eyes not fit to be on her own, but that was also fathers worry. He looked over at Cynthia who had been listening into the conversation then walked over to Tobias explaining in little detail what happened, just enough for him to get by. Then he walked and opened both the cells, holding Tobias' arm as he lead him out, letting Cynthia come out herself. "You two are now on your own. Once I escort you out of this building contact with us will be minimal. If you become a threat, I personally will put an end to you. You have gotten off lucky." Jason said as he gave a nod to Benjamin and began to lead the two kids away from the cells, the weapons waiting outside the building where they couldn't turn around and attack right away.
Thea was confused for a second at how calm Cal was. Due to how quick everything happened she was certain that half the guild didn't know she was even here, much less take kindly to her. "They were real and they aren't okay, they are all dead... And it was because of me..." Thea said as she looked down upset, tears beginning to well in her eyes again. "So you don't still hate me for attacking your guild and hurting those fairies?" Thea asked in an innocent voice. She was genuinely just wondering. She had assumed that the girl hated her but now she didn't seem like she did. That was good. If the girl who wanted her down the second most accepted her then maybe the big scary man that came in late and attacked her would also accept her.
Caleb crossed his arms and shifted his weight from one foot to the other. "I am Caleb, but you already knew that." He introduced himself trying to be slightly polite. Then they fell back into an awkward silence for a moment. "...So uh.... how did you get here?" He asked trying to make conversation but not doing too well at it, nor seeming too interested but anything was better then the awkward silence that they sat in now. Camilla looked at Ken and Gwen confused as Mark was so excited to get the box open then ran off before he could see what was inside. She didn't know whether she should open it or not but Gwen seemed to think she should, so that is what she did, slowly glancing inside. "That was really weird... Did I do something wrong?" She asked not quite sure how she should react to Mark running away. She didn't think she did anything wrong but she also knew that she lacked the social skills to tell when she did something wrong. There was more than once that Camilla said something to a roommate or one of the nurses that her parents scorned her for at a later time because it wasn't appropriate. That was the life of a girl who knew not much of outside the hospital. When she wasn't there then she was at home, not allowed to leave her house much out of fear of her getting too sick. Camilla now had the lid fully open for Gwen and Ken to see in as well.
Thea had woken up from a nap not long ago and was sitting up playing with her dolls, not having enough energy to get up and walk about yet. As she sat there she heard the door creek open and was wondering if it was someone to come check on her. When the two people entered it was clear that they weren't. One of the two was one person that was set on killing her when she first attacked the guild, while the rest were hesitant. Fear overtook Thea as she sat and watched the two people. The conversation went on about betrayal and possible deaths, all subjects that Thea felt too familiar with. She wondered how ashamed her father would have been of her if he had seen what she had done. When the room fell silent for a moment Thea spoke up to ask a question she feared to ask. "Are you here to punish me for hurting the fairies?" She asked looking straight at Cal, the one she thought of as scary and mean. Thea had assumed the entire guild had heard about it by now and given some peoples reactions she wouldn't put it past Cal to want to hurt her for it. She didn't know anything about the other man so she couldn't say, nothing but he was Ezekiel's brother. She had heard Ezekiel speak of his brother only a couple times but it seemed they didn't get along too well. That being said Thea couldn't judge the man too much based on that now knowing how Ezekiel mislead her. Silvia quietly followed behind Leo as he took her towards the enter of town. The town seemed like a nice place. It didn't seem too busy until they got closer to the center of town, then more and more people were seen until they were in the center of town and it was quite busy. There was a lot of shops and stalls around there and Silvia was impressed with exactly how busy it was. Scanning the streets she noticed a herbal medicine shop. "Um do you mind if I go over there for a second." Silvia asked nervously as she started to head over. "Oh and... Thanks for showing me this Leo." Silvia said as she walked t the shop and entered. She checked how much money she had before going through the shop picking up various herbs and liquids but no fully made medicine. She purchased the items then turned back to Leo. "Sorry I needed to restock some supplies, you can continue your tour." She told him as she tucked her purchase into her bag that she carried with her. Finishing his project on the outside of the guild hall, Trevor came out of his titan form and walked back into the building to catch the last seconds of what had just happened in there. It seemed that the rest of the guild had returned from their missions. Trevor looked around to see the other guild members that he knew, a lot of them looking unimpressed about something or other. Trevor would have liked to greet them but knew better given the looks that everyone was giving. However perhaps he could help out with the situation. Trevor made his way over to Caiborn figuring he was the easiest to get direct responses from. "What happened? Is there anything I can do to help fix... this situation at hand?" He asked not really knowing what the situation at hand actually was.
"Not only cars go on that race track, I have seen other things. But that doesn't matter right now because if you were ever a teenager you know that kids will grab onto a car and get dragged along on their skateboard just for the shits and giggles." Karina retorted. "And why should we bother, he is the one that just abandoned his son here, not our problem. Besides you can't expect me to go searching for a kid that he can't even describe properly. It is not my problem to deal with." Karina finished saying, crossing her arms getting a little impatient with this whole situation.
"So let me get this straight, you went and helped those two dorks in a previous world and now you are here looking for a boy that you really gave no useful information on and you want our help right?" Karina broke it down in the easiest way possible, then gave Goofy an unimpressed look. "Your not going to get it. If he likes boarding so much have you bothered checking the racing track? Or are you just as stupid as the rest of these people?" Karina asked successfully insulting everyone around her. She then turned her back to Goofy and the others. "So are we going to get ice cream or not?" Karina asked in a rather dismissive voice.
Did Leo not notice her disposition to nervousness? She couldn't help but be nervous and that effected how she could get along with others. It was rather hard to be friends with a young girl when the only thing that went through her mind was, what if she hurt her. She was scared of the girl and she couldn't help it. How was that supposed to make a solid friendship? Perhaps Skadi could still try but Skadi didn't get nervous like she did. "I-I just don't know if I can make myself stop being scared of her... of everything." Silvia admitted. Leo offered to show her around town, that sounded like a good option, fresh air might be good for calming the mind and then she would know where to go if she needed anything, especially anymore medical supplies. Silvia wondered if Caliborn had found a specific use for her talent yet, a job that might need it. If he had then maybe she could start feeling as some use to the guild instead of dead weight that needed to be taken care of because of emotional issues. She didn't let her thoughts show as she looked up at Leo to speak. "Yeah, lets go."
As Alec sat down and lit up a cigarette he heard yelling. Right her... He had forgotten about Lilith when the promise of power came up. He figured he should say something for her sake now that she yelled and a shoe fell just beyond the portal. Alec rolled his eyes, pathetic. He guessed he would speak up for her. "So yeah that yelling, some chick she is like me but not as awesome. I mean if you want more people to join she would be the girl.... But I am perfectly happy being here by myself. I don't like to share. Besides I am awesome enough that I am all you need. Now with that out of the way, my obligations to some random chick I wouldn't mind banging done, lets get to work with this ability stuff." Alec said taking a puff of his cigarette and watching the smoke swirl out of his mouth. Damn he could go for some pot right now, but now was not the time to get high. He had to be serious.... or at least as serious as Alec could be.
Brendan watched as Danni came in and the expressions on hers and Errols face as they had a silent exchange of words. Brendan waited until after they were done, until after Errol finished talking before addressing Danni with more than the smile and nod he gave her when she walked in. "Hey Danni, is everything alright? Did something happen? You aren't hurt are you?" He sent her telepathically. Brendan then turned his attention back to the situation at hand, pulling up blueprints of his own on his laptop that he had with him. He might have excelled in tech but that didn't mean he wasn't willing to go into the field for something as important as this. Brendan glanced around to see if anyone was going to leave because of the danger behind the mission, it didn't seem like anyone was going to leave, that was good, they needed as many people as they could get. The mission might get bloody but he was going to get Colton and Carter and all of them out no matter what. Colton didn't look over at Mai as she continued to talk to him. His eyes were fixed to the roof as he forced himself to stay awake despite being exhausted. Now in his tired mind he was trying to hold two conversations, not wanting to bother talking through the mask he was wearing. "I probably feel worse than I look." Colton admitted, showing the reason he had said that he might not be able to fight anymore. But he had fight this one last day. Just once more he would fight. If it didn't work then he would make them regret bringing him here, be a nightmare and bate them into granting him a quicker death. Next Coltons attention was turned to Shane who at first tried to say they had to wait, but soon changed his mind. He also said something about apologizing to Mai. Colton was not quite sure what happened with the two of them the day before but sent the message along anyways. The next thing he needed to do was unlock the doors and get them out. The only issue was that Lyle knew his manipulation trick, he knew that Lyle would have a way of stopping it, good thing it wasn't the only trick he had up his sleeve though. "Alright on it. Don't have to warn me about them, trust me I have been here a lot longer than you. I know they know about us, but I also know Isabella's weakness, how to get past her defenses and there is a lot they don't know about me yet. We will make this work." Through his voice in his mind Colton sounded a lot more strong, awake and confident than he actually was. He didn't know how we was going to get out of bed to do this and if he tried to run, chances were with his illness he wouldn't get too far. But he still had to get them all out of here so he would find a way. "I will fight for one more day..." He sent to Mai. "Oh I knew how dangerous he was. I tested that out yesterday with Mai. Poor girl. Oh well. She can handle it I think. If she can't well I guess we will just have to get a new subject for Lyle, or let him continue playing with Colton while I work with Shane. Don't worry Lukey soon your problems will be gone, I am going to get rid of Shane's powers completely, and give them to Colton. Won't that be fun?" Isabella began to ramble as she happily skipped down the hall towards her lab. She soon reached a small room right before he lab and poured herself a cup of coffee. "Help yourself if you want to. That includes you miss too serious and creepy partner of Lukey." Isabella said as she ran off to a drawer full of inventions. She soon brought out a small vile of ink. "Ah perfect!" She called out. "This ink contains microchips so small that you can't see them without a microscope. Each one is programmed to help repel different types of psychic attacks. They are good for my abilities plus a couple others but I haven't had enough people to study to find a way to cancel out all abilities. But some is better than none right?" Running around her lab Isabella began to gather the stuff she would need in order to tattoo someone. "So what do you want your tattoo to be of, and where to do want it to be?" She asked as she held up the needle needed for tattooing. "Do you want a butterfly on your butt? Or how about a gun on your gut? Oh or a toque on your tongue?" Isabella asked as she turned into each object as she said them. "I can give you one too if you want." Isabella shouted out to Kye. "Perhaps a happy face to counter the scowl you always wear." She suggested.
As Karina was walking along she caught a glimpse of the others talking with some kind of giant talking dog. Well that was new. That being said there was a lot of weird talking animals that they had come across in their adventures. Karina had arrived just in time to hear Beuce's explanation of what happened to his arm. In his explanation he made no mention of her, whether that was to not put her down because of the passing out thing, or if it was something else she didn't know. Karina had a feeling that if it was something else she would have to look into it more. Perhaps she had been mislead, perhaps she hadn't but now she felt the need to know exactly what happened. Now was not the time or the place for that due to an active conversation with a stranger accusations probably wouldn't be appreciated. However later she would get the details on what happened. Karina stood at the back of the group, her hands shoved in her back pockets, and wearing the oh so familiar scowl. "What are you losers doing? Who is this chump?" Karina asked in a harsh tone. Yep time alone was all she needed to get her back to normal, not that that was a good thing for the people around Karina but it was kind of nice for her just to be herself for a while. Even if this version of herself wasn't what lay deep down. It was the person she had become familiar with. The hard hearted girl who only looked out for herself and stopped trying to please people, including herself. She would just be what she had to in order to survive.
Serenity was kind of lost with what was happening but she decided to simply follow along. Apparently they were going to meet this boys master? Something of that sort. This entire situation was just getting more and more confusing, especially when the boy tried to explain things. The one thing that she did catch was the boys name, Eren. It was an interesting name for an interesting boy to say the least Things only became more weird when a car appeared in front of them out of thin air. She was relieved to have normal conversation when the boy who introduced himself as Allen earlier on asked about work at the coffee shop. "Um I don't know I think we might need a bus boy. That is something you would have to talk to my boss about though." Serenity explained. She then turned back to the car and the situation at hand. She assumed they were to get in but then she remembered something. "Um should we not worry about the guy from before. He just kinda seemed to be taken away after you were attacked Jay. Should we not be worried about him? Help him before we leave?" Serenity asked. Even though the man practically assaulted her she still had a heart for people. She wanted to to help people. No matter who they were or what they did. That was why she was here in the first place despite needing to focus on her studies and singing. Alec looked in awe at the portal that appeared in front of him. "Dude this is so trippy." He said as he followed the creature through the portal. It brought them to a red themed room. It was rather cool looking. He walked away to sit on a chair. "So dude what is your name even and when do I get to learn this ability crap. I want to wield flames. I mean I am hot enough as it is but being a little hotter wouldn't hurt." Alec said as he propped his feet up on a table and put his hands behind his head. "So do you like have servants here and stuff too? That would be so cool."
"I can't... She, she scares me. She tried to attack the guild and then joined the guild. Then she came on a mission with us and killed a bunch of fairies and hurt Skadi.... She is younger than me but... She controls fire and loses control and hurts people. I don't want her to hurt me, or anyone else. She is a danger to have in the guild." Silvia explained the situation with Thea hoping she was making sense in why she feared Thea and why she couldn't be friends with Thea. Sure she felt bad for the girl but that didn't make things any easier. Leo then agreed to show her around more. "Thank you." Silvia said as she got up. She tried to sort herself out, make sure she looked more presentable after having been sitting at the table in distress for so long. "So.... Lead the way." She said with a lack of anything else to say to Leo at this time. "I am no part of a family anymore. I mean these guys are great but how can I truly be a part of them knowing what I know is going to happen?" Thomas asked. "No what never mind. It isn't important. Besides I can't complain, I mean I scored a date with probably one of the nicest people in this guild that I have met. Thank you. Would you be up for going out again?" Thomas asked hopefully. If he could keep this going it would be great, if not, well he guessed that he could live. He wasn't going to complain too much. He could just deal with in and find someone else. He was sure that there was some one else in this guild that would accept his invitation for a date. But at this point he didn't want anyone else. He was rather enjoying Lucia's company. He started fantasizing about what a future would be like with her... not that he had a future but still.
Sapphire did not flinch when Lexcifur held his weapon up to her, she merely looked at him with sorrow behind her eyes. She could sense the darkness was not entirely his own. "Lexcifur please allow me to help you the way R helped your mother before in her younger years. Do not let this darkness control you. If you loose yourself to it then there is no turning back. Don't let it take over your heart and cause you to share the same fate as your father." Sapphire was finding the words difficult to say. She didn't want to admit that was where things were heading. "If the darkness takes control you will hurt people you care about by accident. Whether your mother, or my children, your friends. I will stop you with whatever means necessary but I would rather not. I would rather you have learned from your time away. Please don't force my hand. I don't want to hurt you and I don't want to send you away again Lexcifur. Your fathers death was just an accident. Don't blame Xero for it. There is no reason for you to kill her. Just calm down." Sapphire said as she emitted and aura of light to help calm and cancel the darkness coming from Lexcifur. All Alisia could do was watch as Dane finished off the Dark side and summoned another familiar heartless. The other one that attacked her world. They were taking it out too it seemed. Alisia sighed as she prepared to fight once again. Fighting was not her strong suite and although it made her happy that those things would no longer be roaming the worlds, she still didn't feel comfortable being the one to kill them. However she didn't get much of a choice. She was still Dane's slave even after everything that just happened and if he said fight, or train, then she had to fight and train. It didn't matter what she wanted. It hadn't mattered for a while now. It was just something she was getting used to. This heartless was a more difficult one to defeat however. This heartless was flying around meaning a lot of time it was out of reach for the young girl. Alisia bit her lip as she watched it dive down and began to run for it. It looked ready to attack but it was also in a position that she could reach it and she had to take advantage of that. As she drew near she took a deep breath as she jumped up over it's attack, slashing down at it's back before landing on the other side, not as graceful as she would have liked. She fell flat on her face but she still hit it and that was what counted. Alisia picked herself off the ground as she prepared for the next attack. She didn't know what she was going to do or how she was going to execute it but she had to at some point. "I wouldn't exactly call them friends. But we work with them as well. Xross, and Zephyr. They are good guys... well one of them is not too sure about the other. Anyways they are with us, just other members of the vast group that is working to find the hero. And if you didn't catch it before my name is Gwen." Gwen introduced before turning to Zephyr to explain exactly what he had walked into. "So basically I found Hunter, we found a cave, Akira here was in the cave but she isn't the hero. Hunter used some manipulation power thing to make me have sex with him in the cave which in turn scared Akira away and now we are trying to convince her to leave this boring island behind and join us while we search for the hero. Also she had never heard of the goddess so obviously she had been trapped here and needs to get out and see other worlds." Gwen said casually like the idea of it all was nothing out of the ordinary.
Isabella was on her way to pick up Shane for her experiment, when she heard a comotion. Soon after she could hear sobs coming from the cell that Lucas was using to sleep in. Her experiments could wait, she had to see if Lukey was alright. "Lukey! What is wrong?" She asked as she approached the door. "Why are you crying? Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked before coming to a sudden realization. She wasn't really trying to but she could hear Lucas' thoughts. "What happened to that chip of yours. Nope this is no good. We can't have you vulnerable while working with telepaths and telekinetics. Come with me. I have plenty of things that can help. You just tell me what you want it to do and look like and I will fix your right up today. No more tears now." Isabella said as she opened the door for Lukey to follow her. "We move today. Lyle gave us the day off, a treat I feel like we won't get again until we are dead.We need to take advantage of that. The four of us, we are going home today." Colton thought back in a harsh tone. He was not willing to wait not when there was so much pain. He looked over to Mai who was talking to him, obviously distressed. He wanted to walk over and wipe tears from her eyes and comfort him but he had no strength to get out of bed. That being said he didn't know how he planned to go about his escape today with so little energy, but he would. He had to. "We fought Mai... I just don't know how much more we can take..." He admitted as he turned his face into a pillow to let out a coughing fir that brought tears to his eyes. When it was over he groaned and brought his face out of the pillow to talk again. "We will escape before we let them kill us. I promise. They won't beat us." His voice was weak and not at all convincing as he said that, but he was convinced in his mind. Colton then slowly put the mask over his face, one last cough wheezed out before it started to take effect. He felt so hopeless sitting in bed like that. He flipped on the machine and stared at the ceiling. With the mask on there wasn't much room for talking, so he didn't, he just let the silence bring on fear and worry to swallow him. However despite what was in his mind he didn't show it on his face. He didn't want to worry Mai. Brendan got up and grabbed a cup of coffee before he took a seat again looking at the people around him. He wasn't very happy with the thoughts that he was hearing from Jean, he couldn't expect this to be a simple small operation, however he wasn't about to say anything. He looked at Errol as he spoke to him. "Yes sir, it is done, got it right here." He said holding up a small USB stick. "Anything else that you need me to do before we go?" He asked as he sat back in his chair closing his eyes and letting the scene of Colton and Carter play in the back of his mind again. It was his motive to keep up what he was doing, volunteer for whatever he could, just to get them out. Brendan turned to the door to see who else would come. Alex turned up, that was something sort of unexpected. From what Brendan could tell he really didn't care much for this operation, for the well being of Colton, which in some senses was fair. Colton had just been a trouble maker while there but he also had many problems of his own, probably why Errol had offered him so much grace. Either way help was help, he wasn't going to judge anyone who came to offer a hand. Jason took a deep breath as he turned away from Cynthia's cell to Benjamin. "Ready as I will ever be." He told the man glancing back at Cynthia's cell. "She seems scared of herself." Jason pointed out before looking back at Benjamin. "So what is the verdict with the two of them?" He asked as he rubbed his hands over his face trying to wipe the sleep away and wake himself up a bit, as well as prepare his mind for the answer. He knew whatever it was Cynthia couldn't stay in his care. The girl would no longer be his daughter, which to be fair she never was truly his daughter, but he had treated her like his own. This was a hard time but he knew he could manage, life at Raven Sun had its ups and downs at times. He had seen plenty of people come and go for various reasons. Soon enough Cynthia would just blend into that crowd.
\o Alec was rather enjoying his conversation when Jay turned around and tackled him, throwing his lighter across the room, but more importantly causing him to drop his cigarette. "Oh you are going to regret doing that." Alec said with a sly smirk on his face. He wasn't about to take that crap from this first year. Alec wasn't going to just take that. However before Alec could actually do something, something strange happened. Jay had been knocked to the ground, his chest was bleeding, but there was no one there. The next thing he knew was that he had been grabbed and taken away from the situation. What the hell? Alec looked back at his cigarette wondering if it contained something else that was sending him on some sort of drug trip. Well it didn't feel like a drug trip. So what was going on? More questions were raised then answered when they reached under the stairs and the person who grabbed him revealed himself to not be a person at all. "Dude what are you? You look like a creature from a game I play online." Alec remarked, gawking at the creature that stood above him. And he was also offering quite an offer. Power, sex, money, what more could he want? Well he wanted to find the person who took his sister, but with power and wealth there was nothing stopping him from being able to find them. And when he did he would burn them and let them slowly suffer and die. They would pay, followed by his step dad. If it wasn't for him none of this would have happened. He changed his mom and was the reason his sister was left alone. He was going to pay for that. "It's a deal. I will do what you tell me if you give me all that." Alec said quickly not even stopping to think of the downside to all of this, what might happen because of his choice. He didn't care. He would be able to get his revenge. This would be good, this would be fun. He could do this. A wicked smile appeared on his face. "When do we start?" Serenity got distracted from her conversation with the new guy by being yelled at to call the police. "No, I won't call the police. It just makes things more of a mess then it needs to be. I am fine, he didn't hurt me." Serenity responded, turning around to see Jay pinning Alec down. "Just let him-" Before she could finish what she was saying something weird happened. She could hardly register what was going on but Jay was on the ground bleeding and crying out in pain. She rushed to his side, taking her sweater off to push against the wound. "Sh, sh, it is okay. Calm down we will get help, you will be fine." She talked to him calmly as she tried to comfort him. Soon after a young man came in, offering some drink. After he drank it the bleeding stopped and the wounds closed. How was that possible? Some sort of magic? No magic wasn't real. Jay shouted the same thing she was thinking, what was going on? She wanted to know. This was not what she had signed up for, that was for sure.
To make matters worse than they already were another girl who she saw at the coffee shop quite a bit, another creeper. Serenity knew that she was kind of pretty but didn't think of herself as extremely pretty however she seemed to get a lot of attention, attraction from the wrong people. She didn't know how to deal with it. She was beginning to get frustrated with the situation. Especially with what happened next. Alec wore a grin as the scene played out. He would have actually let Serenity go, but then the boy tried to throw a much at him. Instead of dodging or making some insult about it he had a better idea... Well better in his mind anyways. Alec spun Serenity around so she was in the way of a punch causing Zane to stop. "Didn't think you'd want to hurt the little lady. I mean her face is so pretty and I know I am not the only one who notices. I know you have a thing for her but you will have to fight me... and her...." Alec indicated to Lilith. "...for her. Trust me bud, you and your bird ain't going to win." Alec said. That was when the unexpected happened. Serenity had lost her patience with anything and though she didn't want to use her pepper spray in this small room but that didn't mean that there was nothing else that she could do. To be honest she hadn't done it already because she was nervous of what everyone else would think of her if she did. But at this point she couldn't just take this anymore. Serenity stomped back on Alec's foot before jamming her elbow into his chest making Alec let go before she ran. She went behind Zane looking for a bit of protection in a way. She could protect herself but so far he was the only one not to be obsessed with her and it was a safer place... Well him and the other guy who walked in but she didn't know much about him."Um thanks for your help. My name is Serenity. I realized that I didn't properly introduce myself before all of, well this. Anyways I should probably talk to the new guy before he gets scared off from this entire situation. Sorry for the save and run." Serenity slowly walked from Zane making sure tot keep as far away from Alec as possible and trying not to look at Lilith as she walked to the new guy that had come in. "Sorry about all that. Um yeah I don't know how to explain that what happened. Anyways youkoso irasshaimashita, that means welcome in Japanese. My name is Serenity. Nice to meet you." Serenity said with a smile. She didn't seem to effected by the events that just happened, she seemed fine. In reality she wasn't as fine she was nervous about being here but she would be fine, she would figure it out. "YOU B*TCH!" Alec screamed as Serenity tried to hurt him and run away. She did get away from him, and he wasn't' going to go after her at this time, it wasn't worth it. Not now, he had to stay for a while. Alec pulled out a lighter and held it up to Zane the flame burning hot. "You better back off! I swear I will hurt you. I will leave her alone for now IF you let me stay. Got it!" Alec turned around and walked down to where Lilith is. He whispered in her ear. "If you can get her alone I can make sure you see her without much clothing. How does that sound?" He offered, rather keen on taking Serenity to bed himself. He wouldn't care if someone watched, or there was a threesome for that matter.
"I have found a couple people, but asides from you they are so much older than me, it feels awkward trying to fit in with me. There is only one person younger than me and... I don't think I can be friends with her." Silvia said as she looked down at her hands sounding slightly ashamed of herself for that comment. She didn't want to write Thea off completely but she was too scared of her to think of a friendship as a possibility. "Anyways I don't think you would find my problems that entertaining. Do you mind... showing me around the area more maybe?" Silvia asked knowing she had been few places in the guild and fewer places in the town.
With the arrival of Alec came a lot of discomfort for Serenity. She had seen him come into the coffee shop a lot and he loved to torment her along with any other girls there, demanding things and making sexual comments towards them, though he had seemed to take a shine to her. "I-I wasn't looking at you..." Serenity managed to stammer as Zane tried to stand up for her in a way while also insulting the man, this wouldn't end well. Serenity slowly started to make her way behind Zane, looking for a place to feel safer. As Serenity tried to move away Alec grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back towards him, wrapping his arm around her waste and pulling her close. "Come on now. I am not that bad. I don't even smell, like what reason do you have to run from me?" Alec asked holding her close not letting her go despite her struggling. He then directed his attention to the other two. "No I am in the right place. the Strange Occurrence Investigators Club, right? Yeah. See you don't want to kick me out of here, wanna know why?" Alec took another puff of his cigarette and let the smoke out into Jay's face. "I have been looking into this stuff too. And besides you all would be too nice to actually you know effectively question someone. You need to be forceful at times, that is where I come in. Now then I would suggest you two back off before I decide to actually do something horrible to the little lady. You guys back off and let me stay and I won't lay another hand on her." He said pulling Serenity closer to him and rubbing her side slightly before sniffing her hair. "Wow how do you get your hair smelling so nice? You should share your secret with my last girlfriend. I like a girl with nice smelling hair." As Alec pulled her closer Serenity tried to fight back and get away but he was too strong and held her firm at his side, using her as a threat. Shivers went up her spine as Alec sniffed her hair. She knew better then try to say anything to reason with the man, he would be beyond reasoning. She wouldn't stand a chance in getting him to leave her alone by saying anything. She knew this, her father was the same way. Instead Serenity started to sing, not for the others but as a way to keep herself calm and not freaking out too much. Her voice trembled as she began to sing Lullaby for a Stormy Night.
Colton was woken up by a voice in his head. Sometimes he really hated telepathics. Colton rolled over and fell into a coughing fit that ended with him groaning before he could even think of responding to Shane. The poisonous gas was still taking it's toll, and that was on top of his pneumonia. Things seemed really bad for him, but he still had a promise that he intended on keeping. Though at this rate it would end up costing him his life potentially. But that was fine, he would do what he had to if it got Carter free, and all the rest. Luckily the message he received had just what he needed. "I messed with the inner workings of Lucas, the agent not the scientist, gun. I made it so it would explode in his hand. But he used it far sooner than expected nearly right after while in a fighting thing with Carter and I. Like planned it blew up and mess up his hand. But Lyle has seen how protective I am of Carter and is trying to use that against me. If Lyle thinks Carter has any involvement, well you see the black collar on his neck? I feel that will be the least of our worries. It was stupid of me to do at that point so I need to make sure Carter doesn't get blamed at all, I will shoulder the punishment, he shouldn't have to." Colton sent back an explanation to Shane. "Now how the hell do we get out of here. I promised him I would get us out... all of us out." Colton added, his thoughts ending when he had another coughing fit and fell back in bed. He didn't know how he would have the energy to get them out but he would have to find it. Chances were things would only get worse. Rolling over Colton looked over at Mai who seemed to still be asleep then to the note that was left for them. "Psh a day off. I find that hard to believe unless they are planning something, but what is it I wonder." Colton said out loud to no one in particular. He didn't think Mai was awake to hear or would much care anyways. "Mai I promise I will get you out, you just rest. I don't know what Isabella did to you yesterday but knowing her nothing good. Just don't worry about a thing." Colton's voice was soft but weak and sounded like he was starting to lose it. He laid back and shut his tired eyes. "I will get us out." He said again this time more to himself, trying to convince himself that he could do it and would find the energy to do it. Brendan had been up since the sun started to rise working on the program and a beta type of it was nearly done, though that meant that he was running slightly behind for the meeting by a few minutes. He watched impatiently as the last of the program finished uploading to a thumb drive before grabbing it from his computer, grabbing his laptop and running out of his room. Brendan made good time getting to Errol's office to see Christie was the only one there so far. That was good he wasn't too late. He quickly caught his breath before entering into the office fully. "Morning boss, morning Christie." He greeted before sitting down, starting up his laptop and pulling the packets of floor plans that he had made up the night before. "I think I have everything ready on my part so far. If I have a chance I should just double check and debug the program but it should work for what we need as is." He informed the man. Brendan's eyes still looked tired but they were no where near as bad as the day before. He had at least gotten some sleep last night. Jason had spent the night on lookout, the second night in a row without much sleep. The job could be a pain in the butt at times, that was for sure. It only got more annoying when a harmonica was being played from the cell on the far end of the row. Of course that little twit would have one just to be more of a pain then he already was. Jason considered marching down there and taking it away, but that would give Tobias the satisfaction of knowing that he pissed him off again, and Jason was beyond letting that fly. Instead Jason just took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment to calm himself before looking back over at his daughters cell. She was awake but abnormally quiet. However that was not so unexpected considering what was going on. Grown and trained with a dislike of people with powers only to find out she herself had powers. Jason glanced down at his phone hoping soon someone else would either come to watch the two or a decision would be reached on how to deal with them. Either would get him out of watch duty, though he volunteered, he couldn't sit there forever. Cynthia had finally awoken early in the morning after having been under from the tranquilizer most of the day before. Instead of acting out in anger like her reaction the first time that she awoke to find herself in a cell, she moved back into a corner and accepted it. She belonged here didn't she? She had powers... She blew up the door last time. She had used extra strength against her father trying to kill him. She was one of the people she hated most. Cynthia's hands trembled as she looked down at them. They were going to kill her weren't they? She didn't blame them if they did. Cynthia reached out of her trembling hands up to her face, as she touched her swollen cheek. The blood was cleaned up, and wounds patched after her father knocked her out, all that was left was the pain. It wasn't too bad, she had been through a lot worse, hazards of the job it seemed. Though even with being used to pain it still wasn't pleasant. She also had a pounding headache which was only made worse by the sound of a harmonica. "OH would you shut it already! Trust me you do not want me pissed off right now!" Cynthia shouted from her cell before placing her hand back on her aching cheek. Perhaps yelling was not the best idea. However she did know that it was when she was angry that her powers showed. She wasn't entirely sure what powers she had but she knew that if whoever it was playing the harmonica kept up, well her powers would show once again and that wouldn't be a good thing.
"No it is okay, you are allowed to interrupt. I just felt the need to add some quiet calm to the situation. I mean I know talking about this stuff can make people tense and I didn't want anyone to be too tense before the meeting even started." Serenity stated with a small smile. She backed up from Ace and leaned against the table behind her and began to hum instead of singing. She figured it would be a little less intrusive in a conversation. As she did she waved her pen around like she was conducting an orchestra. Serenity tended to have a wandering mind and that is why she focused on music, it kept her mind in one place although sometimes made her look like a airhead, however this wasn't true, she was quite intelligent just didn't tend to focus the best. Alec Style, the only reason he had shown up for his class was because of the meeting after that he planned on attending. That didn't mean he wasn't going to show up a little late for class and the meeting. Alec found himself skateboarding down the now half emptied halls, cigarette in hand. It was breaking two school rules right there but he could care less about that. Alec was one who didn't much care for the rules, and that was seen through his six suspensions in two years. Arriving at the classroom, Alec skated through the door before stopping and flipping his board up into his hand. He took a long smoke, releasing the smoke into the room before finally speaking. "Hey! Cafe girl! Where is my coffee, I haven't had one all day. Don't worry I have money, I can pay. I can also pay for other services if you know what I mean. Oh and while you are at it make me a sandwich. Thanks hot stuff." Alec said with a wink paying no mind to the other two that were in the room. He made his way towards the group while having another smoke. "So what are we looking at over here? The news? That is so boring! You should be looking at me!" Alec exclaimed. "I mean coffee girl here is." He pointed at Serenity who was now backing away nervous of the man who entered. "Don't be scared little lady I won't hurt you, come join the circle will ya."
