Freya skipped up to her brother in the middle of his conversation with Ghost. Apparently he was sent to look out for them. Freya placed her hand on her heart, she missed her mother dearly. She just wanted to go home and leave this entire mess behind, but how could she when leaving it behind meant possibly giving a chance to let her mother die? No she had to stay and make sure they didn't kill her mother, she couldn't let that happen. Freya continued to listen to her brother and Ghost speak. When they were done she wanted to have her say. "If it is wrong, and you don't know if you can fix it then come to your friends and family. Lucifer and I will help, because lets face it, how many times has my ignorance gotten us in trouble that you had to get us out of." Freya said leaning against the railing and looking out at the stars. "I can't say what we are doing here is right. Quite frankly it scars me to death to be helping them and around them. I fear I am just helping bring moms end. And if they found out about us, well our lives are in danger here..." Freya started through a telepathic connection to both Ghost and Zavion. "All I can say is that we are here now so we will just have to take things as they come and if that means we make a mistake and do something we regret... well I will do anything to make up for it, pay any price. Just leave it to me to handle." Freya finished. If they did anything to hurt anyone... well she couldn't stand people being hurt, she would fix it no matter the cost to herself. Freya then turned to the others. "Shall we look for land? I mean we won't get very far standing here. The hero is supposed to be in a cave right? Well there is no cave here. Lets go!" Freya said returning to her normal happy self, at least on the outside. Inside she was still quite worried about their actions and the consequence. But she had to play the part of a team player here as to not get caught, not be killed. It wasn't only her life that depended on this secret not getting out, but Zavion and Lexcifurs as well. "Look around you Xero, look at the death he has caused." Sapphire started as she brought someone else back to life before healing their child. "He has done this in other worlds too. He is a man of pure life bent on killing all with darkness, the only way to counter him is through pure darkness. Unfortunately in my state it has been proving hard to maintain the power I need to create such things. However this person is not allowed to roam the streets. I cannot let more people die. I already have struggled to put a stop to the man destroying entire planets. I can't do much from on Riel." Sapphire explained as she continued moving on and healing people. "Dreams plague my sleep ones that wake me. I can't get enough sleep to keep the energy I need, and then there is..." Sapphire trailed off not daring speak the name. She feared both her and Xero would break into tears again. Sapphire realized that she got off the topic of the question but did nothing to change it, she just let silence hang in the air instead. "My purpose here was not for my own sake. I followed Alisia. She was in my care after her home was destroyed and I couldn't let her go on this trip alone, she is too young." Xander explained before deciding more insight to why Alisia came might better answer the question. "Alisia's planet was destroyed by Dane, but when I rescued her we didn't know who had done it. Alisia with no one else to blame, blamed the goddess for not stopping it from happening. When we heard word about the rebellion, she was dead set on going, even if she had to go alone. I made a promise to myself the day I saved her that I would protect her, so I was not about to go on her own. And now that Dane has her and there is nothing I can do at this time... I decided to try to fulfill her wish to find the hero until I can rescue her and she can do it herself." Xander finished his long winded explanation as he checked one final cave. "What about you. Always silent and in the background. What brings you on this journey?" He questioned. Gwen couldn't help but smirk at Hunters reaction to her shrinking his penis. It was good pay back for the comment he said before. He really wasn't as awesome as he was convinced that he was. Although, unfortunately he was able to undo her shrinking, and she was pretty sure by the giant bulge that he now displayed, he had grown it more. Gwen simply rolled her eyes at that. He was an idiot. She knew this already but restating it never hurt. As she looked out Hunter walked behind her saying something in Spanish. The word Taco gave away that it totally wasn't serious, just a lame attempt to impress her. Well it didn't work, at all. "Nice try pretty boy but next time learn some real Spanish, because unlike you I actually speak Spanish." It was a lie but if it shut him up then she didn't care, at all. Gwen turned away from Hunter completely waving off the comment that no one was there to interrupt them. She wished someone would come, and her wish worked. Hunter began shaking her believing that this person was the hero, though she emerged from a cave, Gwen was not as convinced at this fact. "No Hunter we cannot." She stated at him before turning to the girl. "I don't give a damn who's land this is. All we want to know if there is a legendary hero here. If that is you, great, if not is there anyone with the capability of beating the goddess up here because that is who we need. Not another woman for Hunter to hit on instead of doing his job." Gwen stated as she casually worked her magic to shrink Hunters dick down to its regular size once again. Alisia was almost saddened when Dane mention ed that he never heard a word of thanks anymore. Although it was understandable she also knew that it was one of few things that made her feel remotely good about herself. If he was never appreciated, she couldn't imagine what that would do to him, though she figured she was seeing some evidence in the way he treated everyone else... except her for some reason. She didn't entirely believe that the only reason he was helping her was so that she would do better work for him. She didn't doubt that it was a major part of it, but Alisia believed that there had to be a good bone in that body somewhere. She simply got up and followed Dane as he go ready to start his search. They didn't walk far before they reached miles upon miles of blades stuck in the ground. Alisia had never seen anything like it. She reached for one of the nearest blades, plucking it from the ground. She started to swing the rusty blade in front of her. "What is this place?" She asked in awe, starting to feel a little more comfortable talking to Dane. She still feared him to no end but was at a point now that she was able to speak. When it was just the two of them she felt a little less broken. However when more came in then she would go back to cowering away from everyone in fear of conflict and her having to hurt someone that she didn't want to. But here were everyone was safe and she had no where she could run, there was no excuse not to talk.
"I will draw up hard copied of the map later, I still have it entirely mapped out in my mind." Brendan told Errol before addressing the facial recognition statement. "I can see what I can do, but I will warn you, the facial recognition profiles will probably not come up with much more information then you already have." Brendan explained as he glanced at the profiles and what he may or may not get. Any files that were securely locked away he couldn't access without gaining attention and getting them into huge trouble, and part of him felt that files about them would be locked. "I'll do my best though." He said as he took a sip of his coffee. Next a young woman followed by Jean entered. "Nice to meet you Ms. Justice. My name is Brendan Royce." He introduced politely before turning back to his computer. "Unfortunately, yes that is Brendan. He looks in almost as rough of shape as he did they day Errol brought him here." A grim tone was in Brendan's voice as he explained. Soon after he closed all the security footage, he couldn't stand watching it. Jean then proceeded asking a lot of him. "I can't do much from here, I would need a better access point to their systems, even if that was getting on the same wifi as them. I am sorry. I can get you the sewer information and such easily but to get through to their security systems, the round about way I would have to do it from here would be near impossible unless I was there or something was sent to me directly from their computer systems. currently I am using their website but that is not enough, they bounced it off too many signals to dig any deeper without someone noticing and counter hacking that could potentially lead to our location if they are good enough. I have may computers bouncing off far more points but it is still technically possible to trace back to the origins." Brendan explained as he started to pull up maps of the cities sewage systems and stuff for them to look at, while on another screen he worked on creating the floor plans, allowing for everyone else to study as the pleased. While he worked away he figured he better issue a warning to Nicole because he doubted anyone else did. "By the way, if you don't want someone hearing your thoughts, Ms. Justice I would recommend not thinking of them or leaving the room. You see for my powers have a downside and that is, I can read millions of peoples minds at once and understand them all, however it doesn't shut off, at least in a room. I can hear the thoughts of every person in the room whether I want to be listening or not. I try not to pay attention to them but it is hard sometimes. Please don't freak out, I just wanted you to know before you thought something you may end up regretting later." Brendan spoke without looking away from his computer. Her fingers flying across the keyboard and rapidly clicking the mouse as lines started to form a floor plan. Benjamin, of course it would come down to his decision but Jason hoped he wouldn't have to tell him, not yet. But he didn't have much of a choice. "I'll tell Ben. It is better coming from me then a second hand source." Jason said as he stood up to leave to Ben's office. "Joshua, I am sure you know this, but whatever you do, do not open the door or go near it for that matter, even if Cynthia looks like she is still passed out. The girl is angry and that makes her more dangerous then normal, I wouldn't like to see you hurt or dead." With that Jason left the office, shutting the door behind him and made his way to Benjamins. Knocking on the door he spoke. "Benjamin. We have a problem. We need to talk, now." Jason's voice was stern but he kept his features neutral and worry out of his voice. Cynthia woke up on the ground on a cell, her wounds cleaned and bandaged. Someone obviously did that while she was still passed out to avoid her wrath, good thinking. She walked up to the door and began yelling in fierce some rage. "What the HELL is going on?! Let me out of here? Father where the hell are you? I am going to kill that boy and there is nothing you can do to stop me!" She began violently shaking the door trying to get it open. To say she wasn't happy was an understatement. Isabella only smiled as Shane continued his work. "See isn't this fun?" She said to Mai from inside her mind as she watched the memories pass and horrible memories being created. "Tisk tisk, when did Colton get such a temper. And here I thought I had broken him too much to yell like that. Apparently I was wrong." Isabella giggled knowing exactly what had happened. Shanes powers were indeed impressive. She was enjoying this perhaps a little too much. She took another sip of coffee, wrote down more notes before turning to Shane. "I don't know what happened to you but I like it. Just don't let it weigh you down too much." She jumped into his harms making herself look like a weight before re entering the mind of Mai. "Oh hush girl, no need to quote your way though this? Those silly song lyrics won't help you. Sorry." She then addressed Shane. "You can change her memories back now and then move onto the next test. Unless you want to deal with the memories later... Actually yeah we will wait, science before humanity after all." Isabella stated excited for what was to come next.
Jason stripped his shirt off as he grabbed the first aid kit to better clean his wounds. Though first he would also have to remove his claws that he almost always wore as a precaution. He set them down on the desk beside the first aid kit and got to work on the biggest gash on his side. It was fairly deep, he wondered if it might need stitches, but he didn't have time to go out of his way to get them, he had a bigger worry, his daughter. As he considered his next words carefully he finished wrapping his side with a bandage. "Joshua you should know as well as I do why we can't let her not have a future here." Jason stated, slightly annoyed as he went to work cleaning some of the smaller wounds. "Remember who her mother is, remember why we must keep her close. There is a possibility to develop powers in her blood. Her mother had them and who knows about her father. He could have as well, I don't know. I was never provided with information on who her father might be so I never asked." Jason explained finishing up dealing with his wounds. Joshua had been with the organization nearly as long as he had so he knew the mission Jason was assigned to nineteen years ago, the one that lead to Cynthia joining Raven Sun. Next came the topic of Tobias. "The boys entire goal is to cause trouble. I don't think he cares what we stand for here as long as he can have fun killing someone or pissing someone off." A tone of bitterness was apparent in Jason's voice and for good reasons. "If he keeps this behaviour up I am going to have to have a nice long chat with Benjamin about Tobias remaining here, or even being allowed to walk this earth." Jason let out a heavy sigh. Now Jason was faced with the impossible decision, did he tell Joshua or not. His friend gave him the choice, and it was a hard one to make. He had to decide where his loyalties lay. With a deep breath and a look of concern Jason started to talk once more, this time lowering his voice so no one, even if they were standing ear pressed against the door, could hear him aside from Joshua. "Her strength grew the more angry she got in the fight. She isn't that strong, I would know, I train with her every second day. I can't say for certain but I think that she may have inherited her mothers powers after all, not the same ones. Her mother was a telepath, this seems more of what I heard Telekinetics can do." Jason explained. Being second in command meant that he needed to keep his loyalties to the company, not to a daughter that he was never supposed to get attached to. Leaning back in the chair he looked Joshua straight in the eye, concern apparent on his face. "Knowing that, what are you going to do with her? I have her locked away right now..." Jason returned to speaking in a normal voice, careful to keep his tone controlled and emotionless. He might look concerned but to any outside party he wasn't and as soon as he left the room he would control his expression as well. However here it wasn't as big of an issue. Preparing for the tests Isabella started by getting another cup of coffee, careful to keep it far away from Shane, and just to make sure he didn't go after it. She took a pair of hand cuffs, and cuffed him to the bed. She proceeded to sip her coffee in his view just t be mean, then started to mind walk in Mai to monitor Shanes powers. "Okay, yes yes you can say stuff. I know that already. By the way, not funny, you will never get any of this." Isabella stated as talked to Shane from inside Mai's mind. She seemed to exist in two places at once and could function in both if needed. She was writing notes as she exited Mai's mind for another second. As she took another sip of her coffee, she looked down taking notes as she spoke to Shane. "She is right you know. the survival rate here is almost none... except me, but that was long before any of these scientists were here, that was in the time of my parents working here, they have moved to other labs now. Anyways it was a bad place to seek help, but now you have no choice. I won't be letting you go any time soon, so we can have lots of fun together. Get excited for this." Isabella informed before proceeding to mind walk once more. "Continue, what is your next power." For once Isabella seemed serious, and that was because... well she was doing her work. "A cockroach... I like that." Colton said flatly, not giving Lyle any satisfaction of insult. He had been insulted enough through his life to stop caring and the not caring made it less fun for other people. Lyle said something about a sparring and the other person being skill enough to not injure him. then mentioned his age. The entire concept made Colton uncomfortable, he was severely sick and had a broken arm, yet Lyle still wanted him to fight. Colton followed Lyle like the obedient dog he was being created to be. When they entered the other lab his eyes stopped at a cage on the other side of the room. Colton tensed up recognizing the person in the cage from pictures that he had been shown right before he was kidnapped. It was the missing boy. Colton looked down and away hating himself for what he was about to say. "What could I do, what could I offer you to let the kid go home, back to his family? I will do anything you ask." He didn't want to sit back and watch someone be as traumatized as he was as a child and was being subjected to know. Not when he knew there was a loving family waiting for him... one he accused of being the reason that the boy was gone. Brendans stare broke from the screen as Errol knocked. "Oh, yeah come in, the door is unlocked." He stated, moving his eyes back to the screen. "I got into their security camera's, you just missed him, Colton was in this room here, it seems to be his prison, along with another young girl in really rough shape, though Colton doesn't look well either. Unfortunately these camera's don't catch sound." Brendan explained pulling up several different camera's footage and sending them all to the left most screen. "As for the floor plans I am still working on finding them, but lucky for you I don't have to." Brendan backed away from the computer, turning his chair around and standing up. "I used the camera's and my mental mapping ability to piece together in my mind." He explained before using another of his abilities, a projection one to project a third dimensional render of the lab in front of him. From this we get a far more detailed version of what the lab looks like and how it is laid out. It should make it far easier to navigate when the time comes. "Anything else you need from me boss?" The young man asked as he sat back down but maintained the projection to look at, pulling up the footage of the new room that Colton had been taken to.
Colton hated it, getting special treatment because of his illness over Mai. It was unfair to her. Colton was ready to speak up, fight back when another robot came into his cell and tried to put something around his neck. Colton struggled against it, but with one hand and a tired weak frame, it was rather hard and in the end proved futile. He was not able to stop it from putting the black collar on him. Colton merely grinded his teeth as Lyle spoke about what the collar actually was, what it did. "Do you know how many times I should have died and haven't. I've been shot, and deadly ill and living on the streets at the same time, yet I am still here. I don't need your pity." Colton scowled. He wanted to take back everything he said the moment he said it but it was too late, he had practically challenged Lyle to try to kill him. Colton took a deep breath, let out a few coughs then got out of bed and walked out of his cell, eyes still glued on Lyle. He looked stern but at the same time too worn out to look threatening at all. "Lets just get this over with shall we."
Brendan didn't take long getting back to the academy. He was driving a little over speed limit but was careful not to get caught because that would only slow him down more. Soon enough he was walking up the steps and in through the front door. "Errol I am here, heading to my room now. Should be able to get the files needed up soon if you want to meet me in my room." Brendan informed Errol telepathically before reaching his room and accessing his still turned on computer. He hadn't intended on staying out all night when he had left them on. As Brendan sat down at his computers he realized how tired he actually was. "Um, do you mind bringing a cup of coffee too? I haven't slept all night." Brendan asked slightly embarrassed to ask the head master to bring him coffee, but it was much needed. With a crack of the knuckles Brendan got to work, accessing their network through their website first off. If he wanted to disable the security systems then he would have to be there to hack it and get on their internet at the very least in order to access their computers through that. But for now this was the best he got. He could still do some damage but not nearly as much. "Lets see what I can dig up." Brendan mumbled as he started to click away though coding, rapidly entering commands. He continued at this and was able to find one better than floor plans in a way. He would still have to get the floor plans, but he gained access to their security footage. He couldn't control the camera's or shut them down, but he could see what was going on. Brendan flipped through a couple before finding one that made him freeze. A familiar face sitting on a bed not far the camera. It was Colton, he was alive, but not looking well. The boy looked beaten and worn and frightened, and half starved. Brendan could barely stand the sight, and the entire time Colton was staring at someone else across the room, a girl who seemed to be very sick in bed. Brendan rubbed his hands on his face as he stared at the image feeling sorry for both of them, not ready to get back to his real job just yet. "Bad! That was not for you!" Isabella scolded Shane as she used her illusion magic to make herself turn into a water bottle spraying him. "If Lyle didn't want it that was MY coffee, you get none." She continued a she crossed her arms and returned her attention to the half robot, half scientist in front of her. His robotic parts always freaked her out a bit, she just wouldn't admit it to anyone. Considering Lyle's offer she decided it was fair. "Deal. I will take your subject and do some tests with her and you can have mine and do whatever it is you do with your subjects." Isabella stated before turning to Colton and Mai's cell. She wasted no time in going in it to collect her subject for the day. "Hi Mai! You are going to be working with Shane and I today! Are you excited? It is going to be a lot of fun and for science!" Isabella stated as she made herself appear as a firework and explode into the word science. After that she unlocked the wheels on her bed to take the girl to her lab. "Shane would you mind pushing the IV and heart monitor with me as I push the bed. Thanks!" As they walked down the hall towards her lab Isabella felt like talking so she decided to explain her plan for the day. "So, if I am going to helping you with your powers Shane, I will need to know what ones you have, at what level and how good of control you have over them. To do this I will need you to use all your powers on Mai, one at a time, and I will be monitoring both of you with my own powers. Don't try anything funny either, it won't work." Isabella adjusted her glasses as they neared her lab, she swiped her pass to gain access then pushed Mai through the door. "Ah, here we are, shall we get started?" Colton tensed as he heard the conversation going on outside the cell. Seeing the shape Mai was in he didn't stand a chance with Lyle, or so he thought. And Mai was in no condition for anything, not even some of Isabella's easier experiments that didn't involve too much physically. He looked at Mai as she mouthed the words I will fight, then nodded. "So will I." He said in a horse voice. Right after he said that he took the medicine offered in part to show Mai he was not ready to give up, though he still didn't totally trust what they were giving him. For all he knew it could be some sort of mind control drug. Colton sat quietly as Isabella took Mai away, the new boy, Shane in tow. As she left Colton simply glared at Lyle. He was beyond frustrated that Lyle wouldn't allow the poor girl a day off, and more frustrated that it was all because of him. Once they had left Colton spoke up to Lyle, something he rarely did. "So what are you going to do now? The same thing you did to her?" Bitterness dripped off of Coltons tongue as he spat the words at Lyle. He was scared and mad and that was making him act out a but. Once Lyle let him out, if he could get his hands on anything sharp then he would surely kill the man. In fact he didn't need to be even near it, just see it, his powers would take care of the rest.
Jason faced Joshua who had come out of his office because of the noise. Running the hand that was not holding his bleeding side through his hair and let out a long sigh. This was not going to be fun to explain, but an explanation was indeed necessary. "I'll explain as soon as I move her to a place she isn't a threat to everyone around when she wakes up." Jason informed Joshua as he dropped his hand from his still bleeding side in order to pick up his daughters unconscious body. She was in rough shape after that fight, but then again so was he. He was arguably worse off than her despite the fact that he had knocked her out. Jason brought her down a darker hall way and lay her down in one of the cells that they used for various different things. They weren't always used but always good to have around. He knew that he should stick around to clean her wounds before she woke up, but he had a lot of explaining to do, he'd have to send someone and make sure that they brought a strong tranquilizer type drug with them, he didn't know how long his knocking her out would last. Locking the cage behind him he made his way back to Joshua. "Let's talk in your office." Jason instructed as he picked up his daughters scythe and headed for the office. He took a seat, in the chair nearest to the door, leaning the scythe against the wall and covering his bleeding side with his already bloody hand. "She was ready to kill Tobias, who is in Benjamins office. If I let her go and Benjamin tried to stop her, well there would be more than one head rolling in that office and I couldn't allow that. I tried to stop her, and in her blinding anger she attacked me. I did what I had to in order to guarantee everyone's safety." Jason said in a rather monotone voice as he started to debate whether or not he should mention about Cynthia's strength. Perhaps not to Joshua. Maybe to Benjamin. Joshua knew about Cynthia's mother but Jason didn't know if telling him would help ensure her safety or secure her death. He was not about to risk his daughters life. Not yet. He knew he should tell them, but she was already on the watch list and hanging on by a thread in this organization. Years ago Jason was considered dangerous killer when he needed to be. He was rather cold hearted. Even when he got married to Cynthia's mother it was an act. It was a job nothing more, but her daughter, Cynthia, he found a soft spot for her and it was his greatest weakness.
Jason noticed that Tobias was returning before Cynthia, he guessed that could be a good sign, he wasn't quite sure. Though he didn't look too impressed when Tobias turned and started to head towards him. Whatever Tobias had to say would be annoying and he knew it. He was not looking forward to what was to come and rightly so. The boy approached him with his cocky smile, this was not going to be good. Tobias approached and showed him a picture of him holding Cynthia's bra, standing on stares that looked like they could be to a shabby motel or something like that. Before Jason had a chance to grab the phone out of his hand, Tobias put it away. That was followed by a comment about his deceased wife, Cynthia's mom. He was forced to keep his mouth shut as to not let on anything about her mom or what happened or why. Those were all confidential matters known only to few. Jason took a few breaths trying to let his temper simmer before he killed the boy, and in that time he disappeared to the safety of Benjamin. Jason reached for his back tearing the paper up and shredding it before throwing on the ground. Cynthia soon after returned to Raven Sun heading straight for Jason. "Hi daddy you needed... me..." She started to slow down seeing the anger in his eyes as she drew near. The scowl on his face was enough to send shivers down her spine. "Um what is wrong daddy?" She asked innocently as she gripped her scythe tighter slightly scared of her father, and rightly so. "Don't act all innocent like that you know exactly why I am pissed!" Jason responded stepping forward eying Cynthia up and down, observing her sloppy way of getting dressed, as in a rush. "What did you do last night." He asked in an accusing voice. Cynthia was not too impressed at being accused of doing something. "I haven't done a damn thing! What are you talking about! Don't blame me for something I didn't do. I had a night in is all!" She shouted back at her father. "Oh I know, trust me I know you did! By the way your are dismissed from your current assignment and I forbid you from taking another one yet." "What is this some sort of punishment for something I didn't do?!" "Stop acting dumb!" Jason was at his wits end today and he could see Cynthia was at hers too. She hadn't had her morning coffee and that was never good for her. Meanwhile he was just not in a good mood and after what Tobias revealed... "If you are pregnant you are not keeping it!" "WHAT?!" I am going to murder that boy I don't know what he said or showed you but nothing happened between us! I thought you would know better than that!" Cynthia exclaimed as she marched off to find Tobias. "You can't! He is with Benjamin. You can't just waltz into his office." "Just watch me!" Cynthia said as she moved her scythe into a fighting position and started towards Benjamins office. However she didn't make it far before her father had a firm grip on her shoulder, his claws digging into her skin causing blood to seep through her shirt. With one swift movement she turned and swiped at her father causing him to let go in order to avoid her scythe. However to Cynthia this was now war. She wasn't going to walk away from the fight her father initiated, even if that meant killing him. At the very least he she would be out from his constant watchful eye. Jason could see the blood lust in his step daughters eyes. She was not going to let him get away with stopping her and hurting her in the process. This was bad. It was not bad because he thought that she could kill him. It was bad because he knew that if he didn't stop her and take her down, incapacitating her, she wouldn't stop. He didn't want to do that but he didn't have much of a choice. He dodged a few more of her attacks, jumping back to avoid her attacks before moving forward for his own attack. He didn't give her another chance to attack for a while, giving her a few cuts but nothing that would stop her. He was forced back on the defense but that didn't last long, due to knowing her moves from being the one to train her. It wasn't too long before he was able to swipe at her leg and get her to the ground. He went to pin her but somehow she was able to roll and pin him down. She brought her scythe down trying to kill him. He got his hand up to the handle trying to hold it back. However somehow she was getting the scythe closer, her strength out doing his own. Something was not right, she was not this strong and he knew it. She was a fast hitter not a hard one. And there was no amount of excersize that she could have done between their last sparring matches to make her this strong. "I am not afraid to kill you like I did mom. I have had enough." Jason had to make a choice and fast, how was he going to stop this. He would have to let go with one hand and he knew it, but the other one wouldn't hold off the scythe for long. He let go with one hand and prepared to move the best he could while punching her in the face. between punching and moving her scythe didn't kill him, instead it cut down his side, causing him to grunt in pain. But Cynthia was dazed enough now that he could move the scythe farther away and roll her onto her back pinning her down and punching her a couple more times until she passed out. "I'm sorry." He murmured before standing up and grabbing his side.It was an understatemnt to say he was a little concerned about the strength that she had showed that she suddenly had in that fight.
Thea was barely awake when Skadi came in her room. She couldn't sit up, not yet, she was still more than drained. Though Skadi assured her that she brought back some of her dolls. Thea wanted to get out of bed and start playing with them, she wanted to give Skadi a big hug but she couldn't, not in her current state. "Thank you.... Skadi..." weakly. "But why.... I hurt you..." She added feeling a terrible sense of guilt for that. Then Skadi gave her something else with the guild logo and a saying. Thea stated for a moment trying to get her concentration back enough to read it. When she did tears started to flow down her face, especially when Skadi apologized to her. "I am not part of the guild yet even... and how can I be. I killed people... but I don't want to go! Don't make me go!" Thea cried before settling down again in her weakened state. She was glad that her power was drained or else she would be scared of exploding again. Silvia stayed where she was as Caleb walked away. She covered her head and shook it trying to clear her head. "Get it out of my mind..." She whined quietly trying to clear her head of the image, it wasn't working. The girls eyes started to water when she shut them tight in order to clear her head. She was clearly distressed. Silvia lowered her hands to the table as they were trembling. Why did Caleb have to leave her alone. Why couldn't he have taken her with him? Why could she not get it out of her brain? She was frightened.

Xera simply nodded at the rest of the group and turned around to follow Vex. He said that they would regroup in a couple days. However she had no where better to go besides continuing on with Vex. He should be used to her going with him. She hated spending time alone and refused to go back home for now. She wouldn't go back to her dad eve for two days and if she wasn't home then she was with Vex, following him and doing what he told her to do. Not a classy life but it was what she could get. Sasha has stayed relatively quiet until they asked about why one of the kings men was at the happy mountains."Stephen is no a normal knight, he is not a guard and not one to be held down to one location. Brendan paced the room as everyone crowded around Jex. He had not slept that night, not out of worry for Jex, but out of worry for all of their safety. It seemed that no where was safe for them outside the academy. Even then at this pace the academy wouldn't be safe. That thought was scary enough in and of itself. Jex and Ryan had both been injured, so had Christie, and Colton had been taken from them. It was like who ever was doing this had discovered that they wee here, in Reno. Brendan stopped pacing as he turned to Danni. He wanted to give the girl a hug. Do something to comfort her, anything. But what could he do? What would be too far? He was kind of lost on how to act around her. His mind raced with what to say or do, when Errol interrupted his thoughts. It was probably for the best he didn't spend too much time dwelling on what he should do anyways. Over thinking things never helps, especially when it came to girls, and girls that were not your girlfriend. "Listen guys, I got called away." Brendan said pointing to his head to indicate a telepathic communication. "If you need me don't be afraid to call, keep the blanket, you might need it. I am heading back. Let me know if he wakes up." Brendan said before turning to leave the room. "On my way. Meet me in my room and I can see what I can pull up for you. We will find them, and I can do this. I don't care how hard the security system is, I will find away around it because I am not letting them have Colton." Brendan didn't get much chances to talk to Colton but he had been there when Colton arrived, saw what he was like. He tried his best to offer Colton a friend and a help up, and now he was gone. He would be damned if he let them destroy Colton any more. The kid didn't deserve the life he was given. Jason removed his salt covered hand from Rose's ribs. He did not break from his torture to sleep, she was not given the chance to sleep either. Her clothes were left in shreds. Her body was covered in cuts Jason had made with his claws, each one littered with salt in side of them. And yet even after all of this, the young girl still didn't talk. Stubborn brat. Jason glanced at his watch, realizing the time he had other things to do. "Don't think yourself lucky. I will be back, and if you are not ready to talk things are going to get a whole hell of a lot worse, trust me." Jason said as he scowled and walked out, locking the door behind him. It was time for a far more annoying job, dealing with his daughter. Getting to the main hall seeing that Cynthia wasn't there, he pulled out his phone. "Cynthia Enger report to me at once. And don't take your sweet time getting out of bed, I don't have the patients." Jason hung up the call promptly after that. He watched as Joshua entered, heading for his office. He needed to buy the man a gift for all the work is daughter was making him do thanks to her murderous habits on this mission. Cynthia was fast asleep when her phone rang. "What do you want?" She said in a sleepy voice, only to be greeted by her fathers angry voice on the other side. He hung up before she could even say anything else to him. "Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." She mumbled as she dragged herself out of bed and got dressed in her normal black attire. Walking out to the living room it seemed that Tobias was already gone. Cynthia was relieved at that, she did not want to deal with him this morning. However she didn't get to completely avoid him, no, there was a note... Cynthia didn't get one line in before she wanted to punch the boy in the face. However what was even more unsettling was between the note and her fathers call, there was something going on with the case and she didn't like it. She did not want anyone else messing with it. However she knew better than to anger her father so of course she listened and gathered her stuff and headed out the door, slamming it shut behind her, knowing she would have to run back to hq if she wanted to get there in time to not look suspicious due to the fact she stayed somewhere else, somewhere her father did not know about. Colton had awoken before Isabella came to get him, that was something new. He was up early but for the first time since being her he had slept through the night. He wondered if that was because of one of the medicines they gave him or if they had drugged his food or something. It didn't matter anyhow, he would take what he could get when it came to sleep. Mai seemed to have awoken before him as she stared at him. He gave her a weak half smile before a coughing fit over took him. His muscles where sore from thrashing against restraints the morning before as well. Colton didn't feel much better but he knew full well that it took more than one day for medication to start working properly. Coltons chest ached from all the coughing he had done, his throat felt raw, and yet they still worked on him, every day. They were trying to kill him at this rate, they nearly succeeded with Mai. But if this was how it was going to end, so be it. But he wasn't going to let this be the end for Mai. "Mai, I promise, I will get you out of here." He said softly, more talking to himself. If he could get her to Errol then she would be fine, she would have a home. He had to do it whatever way possible. Isabella was on her way to get Colton when Shane spoke to her through his telepathic communication. "Lets get one thing straight, you are my subject so you do what I want on my time. Do not go around telling me what to do. But if you are that eager to get out of your cage then I guess I can get you before I go for Colton." She told Shane, not very impressed that he was ordering her around. However before she got her subjects, COFFEE! With coffee in hand she reached Shanes cell. Unlocking the door for him she spoke. "Come now I still have to get the other boy. Oh and don't try anything funny. Did you know my hobby is making explosives and gas grenades." Isabella informed him in an overly happy tone. "Come on lets go!" She grabbed Shanes hand and started skipping down the hall after shutting Carter in his cage. Soon enough she reached Lyles lab. "Ly! Ly-ee! Lyle! Since your subject is out of commission, do you want to use mine? I mean I have two so if you want to use him." She indicated to Colton who was sitting up in bed in his cell. "You can. If not I can do something involving both of them. But you know I want to be fair and all.... Also... Coffee?!" She offered holding up her cup of coffee, she had more so she was happy to share.
"Maybe for the weak minded, those that can't stand listening to your babbling it is too much." Gwen replied placing a hand on Hunter shoulder as she walked by. She let it slip off as she continued to speak. "But I am not like them and can handle myself just fine thank you. Don't worry about me. Also, so you don't get any ideas." Gwen turned and used her shrinking power on Hunters special little friend. "It won't and will never go in that direction. I hope you know that." Gwen only hoped that the effects of her power would wear off after the world ended. As Hunter punched a wall out and then a tree up in the air, Gwen simply followed him out, hands tucked in her back pant pockets. "I could get used to you having that power. It actually makes you somewhat useful. Too bad your power has to change every post." Gwen stated before simply walking past them and looking out over the water that was not far off. "Sure is pretty here..." Alisia collapsed to the ground near Dane in complete exhaustion. She didn't look at him when he spoke to her, just stared at the ground with very little emotion on her face. "Yeah well I had other issues to overcome in that time..." She muttered referring to the extreme depression she got and the PTSD she had from when her world was destroyed. She was mostly over both of those now, however it took her a long time to get to that point of being okay, in which she spent many hours in therapy or locked in her room hiding, not training. Besides that she had to learn proper control over her spell. Considering how dangerous it was, they couldn't have her mess up when using it. Alisia took the potion from Dane when he offered. Drinking it, she could feel some of its magic properties already going to work on her bones and cuts and scrapes healing them swiftly. The relief felt good, she had been pushed and pushed around so much since Dane had beaten her that the injuries just grew and she was in a lot of pain. "Um... thanks..." Alisia said quietly and hesitantly. She didn't know why she was thanking the man who was holding her prisoner, except that he was being nice in his own way right now. He might be horrible to everyone and just want to use her, but at least he treated her fairly nice when he didn't have to. He could have easily been dragging her around on a chain and not care how much she got hurt as long as she still functioned. He could have marked her has his own somehow, but he didn't. He just gave her a potion to help heal her. He cared her even if it was because she was his possession. It was still some sort of care that she felt slightly fortunate to have.
Thomas didn’t think it through when he asked the question about the family. He didn’t think that it would be turned back on him. He wasn’t quite sure how he wanted to respond but after a moment he began to answer the best he could. "My father… well I don’t have a father actually. It was just me and my mom. My mom, she was a beautiful warrior, very protective yet gentle when she didn’t feel like either of us was threatened. She was the most kind person I have ever known. She cared for me deeply and would take whatever was thrown at her if it kept me safe. She was a fighter, though sometimes that wasn’t a good thing. Sometimes we were forced to do things that we didn’t want to but we had no choice. But she was strong, she would do it without complaining and do extra so I didn’t have to work too hard because it often became too much.” Thomas explained thinking back to his mother in great fondness. “But she is gone now…” He added looking down. Trying to regain his composer he looked up at Lucia once again. “I am sorry you probably didn’t need to hear all of that. Lets go back to your family. They sound great. Is that were you got your amazing personality from? Your parents? Because if it is I will have to thank them, you are incredible you know that?” He complimented trying to get back to his normal flirty self. However thinking of his mother reminded him of the reality that he lived in. Thea didn’t know what was happening as she tried to focus on the room around her. At first she didn’t know where she was at all. As she came to realize where she was she was confuse. That confusion only grew as she rolled over and noticed Evanora sitting on the bed near her. “Why am I back here?” She asked in confusion and sadness. She still didn’t think that she belonged here or deserved to be here. She didn’t think Evanora wanted her around, yet here she was back at the guild with the guild master sitting next to her. The girl still seemed worn out as she looked at Evanora, rubbing her eyes to try to get rid of the blurriness that clouded her focus, it wasn’t working. Thea slowly rested her eyes once again but was still awake. She put her hand to her head trying to calm the pounding in her head.
Thea hadn't stirred at all when laying on the river bank, she didn't stir in the mans arms, and she didn't stir in Evanora's arms. The first sign of life didn't come until Thea was set down on her bed and was there for a few minutes. Thea let out a whimper as she stirred with the first signs of awaking since she passed out. Her energy was still completely drained after her numerous fits that included fire. It was not going to be easy for her magic energy to come back and her to be at full strength. In some senses that was good. Without her magic she couldn't accidentally hurt people. She was still unsure and upset. Thea's eyes fluttered open but she didn't say or do anything, her head ache was too immense. Silvia sat like a scared rabbit ans she watched Beucette and Taylor do the do. She didn't know what to do, she didn't want to watch but she didn't have the mind to not watch. She couldn't understand what was going on. Why were they doing that, and why here? Silvia was ready to cry when Caleb made his entrance, covering Silvia's eyes. Silvia gulped and tried to regain her composition as Caleb talked to her. All Silvia did was nod. Silvia slowly moved Calebs had away from her fave as she looked away from the scene ahead. She then held his hand as she got up and walked back downstairs towards the main hall. She took him to a seat in the call where she could try to clear her mind enough to tell Caleb what she knew. But the image was still disturbing and in her head. "I can't.... sorry I can't focus." She rubbed her eyes and tried to think. "Um... I think I heard Skadi tell Thea something she was going to do... Thea, um wanted something.... I don't know uh, sorry..." Silvia seemed clearly distressed. "Dolls I think. Skadi went to get them maybe. I am not sure. I am so sorry I can't be of more help. I just.... I'm sorry... Its just too much...." She sighed.

A while before Silvia seeking peace and quiet found her way up to the roof of the girls dorm. It seemed to be the only place that she was completely alone, something she so desperately needed. Silvia was so scared and confused and questioning her decisions. Having people around, drama, and Thomas flirting, was not helping anything. She was ready to break. Silvia didn't know what to do. She never did. Thea killing those fairies didn't help either. She should have been able to do more... As these thoughts spun around in the young girls head she heard the door to the roof creek open. Looking over she saw a sight that made her extremely nervous ad unsure of what to do. She froze wondering if the two girls that where making out as they opened the door would see her. One of these girls being Beucette. The one Thea tried so hard to free but in the end not a word about it. This situation had become extremely awkward and uncomfortable and she didn't know what to do. All she could do was sit there. OOC. Thea is still passed out so I don't know what you want to do there. If she wakes up she wouldn't go back to the guild anyways.
When Xero came to Sapphire, she was busy doing the thing only she could do. If Sapphire was able to make it to a person who died within ten minutes of their death then she could resurrect them. However she needed to be there with them. She could not do this on other planets, and the time she had to do it was so little that it was hard to bring the deceased to her. For this reason she let Beuce go ahead after Crybex, so that if she couldn't end him quickly then these people would still be saved. Because of her lack of sleep and depressed mood she found it difficult to focus on two difficult magics at once, meaning she couldn't help Beuce with his fight. "Beuce is finding Crybex to take him down. But if you don't feel up to it you can stay with me sweetie. These families still need helped, and if Crybex turns up here before Beuce catches up again I may need help too. I don't know if I have the proper strength to deal with him, not with all of this happening at once." Sapphire spoke in a gentle tone as she healed another person raising them up. Sapphire was tired and everything was too much but she kept going anyhow. That was until she saw through her powers who was standing by the castle. Suddenly conflicted about what to do she paused only for a moment. She didn't want to send Xero to see her son alone but she couldn't leave what she was doing. "Phantom, please lead the young man, Lexcifur, to me. I am in the center of the city." She instructed Phantom through her telepathic powers. "It's Xander, none of this fancy wording stuff. I don't much care for it." Xander flatly stated before going to answer the question that was asked."He has been trying to help, showing me all the caves, but I feel as though the effort is futile." He explained. "Wait, wait. What? Crimson Swordsman? You are a bear, you can't use a sword. Or are you something else disguised as a bear? I don't know about where you are from but here in Canada it is not polite to lie." Carl the moose interrupted. "Hi I am Carl since Xander here is too rude to introduce me himself." Carl continued as he stuck out a hoof to be shaken like a hand shake. Xander only rolled his eyes at Carl. "It is just a nickname, it means nothing." He lied trying to make sure the strange and annoying moose didn't run away. After all a lot of the caves around here were in pretty weird places. Although how a moose would know where the caves were, was beyond him. Moose didn't hang around caves at all. It was strange but whatever. Help was help.
With Lucia all to himself, Thomas sat down at a table not sure what to do next. He had never actually got a date with someone who wasn't dying and confined to the hospital. "Yeah, I overheard the other mission went worse though." He responded to Lucia. He so didn't want to spend the entire time talking about the mission they were both just on and experienced. That was a boring topic. "So, um... for the record you still look beautiful in your normal clothes. I didn't mean the other comment in an offensive manner, you where just... wow." Thomas attempted to explain. "Um... so, do you, uh have any family? Or... uh.. what are they like I mean.... I think...." Thomas stumbled through his words, he was nervous. As soon as he got past his initial flirting he had no clue what to do or say, he was hopeless. Thea remained on the river bank for a long while just crying, the entire time her temperature was rising and she was burning through her magic energy fast. However she didn't know how to stop it or control it. The bright blue flames never stopped burning, surrounding her with terror and a loss of hope. It didn't take long after all that happened for Thea to start to burn herself out. Taking up too much of her energy she passed out on the river bank. The flames around her extinguished themselves but Thea's body itself was still really hot, it was at a temperature that could burn someone if held long enough. Even in her sleep she was a danger to everyone around. How would she ever be accepted?
