Thea could hardly contain her excitement when Skadi asked what. She did want to make her friend guess, but the young girl didn't have the patience to wait through Skadi's guessing. "Vance is going to be my new daddy!" She exclaimed with a wide smile. "He is really nice to me, and he is noble like my family was. I no longer have to be alone!" She exclaimed with a small jump in her step as they walked. "He also said he is going to try to find me a new mommy as well. I can have a real family once again. Isn't that exciting?!" She asked Skadi, hoping her friend would share her excitement.

Thea could hear a voice not far from them, she didn't pay it much mind but she did glance back at Tessa who seemed interested in it a bit. Thea turned back to Skadi with a questioning look, wondering what she was going to do about it. If they were going to go investigate or just keep walking. Thea didn't want to make the call, Tessa didn't seem to be doing anything, so that left it up to Skadi to decide.

Silvia worked quietly and diligently for the next few minutes until the tonic was finished and she poured it into a clear glass bottle and stuck a label to it. She then looked up at Leo. "Sorry for ignoring you, the silence is important for me to work. It must be pretty boring for you to watch though." Silvia said as she tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear and studied her other ingredients that she had measured for other tonics. "Perhaps these could be of some use here..." Silvia said, her voice trailing off as she thought about her options of what she was going to do now. She didn't fully know if she wanted to stay but at the same time part of her didn't want to leave this guild behind.

Thea liked the idea that Skadi had. She wouldn't feel bad for shipping someone else away so she could talk to Skadi, but still talk with Skadi. Thea nodded as she followed right beside Skadi, skipping. "Skadi, guess what?!" She asked once again really wanting her friend to try to guess her exciting news. It was no fun just outright telling her outright, not yet. But the gleam in her eye was enough to say it was more than something material like a new dress, but something bigger than that.

"You can watch, just don't touch anything. This is a delicate process and anything could mess it up." Silvia stated to Leo without looking up from her work. She was very concentrated as she measured out various other ingredients for her tonic she was working on, as well as putting them in other containers ready for various other tonics. However through this process she felt bad for ignore Leo, but she couldn't talk much, she would lose her concentration, her count on what she was measuring and everything that she had measured and added already. So in the end there wasn't much she could do but keep working, occasionally sparing Leo an apologetic glance.

Karina awoke in a haze after everything that had happened. She didn't quite understand what happened because she was too pissed and too focused on finding a way to kill Mortimer and blinded by her own anger to focus properly. On top of that the whole passing out thing made things also a little hazy to remember, so that kinda sucked, but it was okay, she didn't mind that much. Though the issue was she wasn't where she was last and she didn't quite know how she got there. However that sounded like a personal problem.

Karina heard someone else before she saw them. D'daear was in the area with her, looking around more, she found that Beuce was there too. "This is going to be painful, isn't it?" Karina sighed as she picked herself off the ground. "Get your as$ up and help us figure out where we are." Karina said to Beuce as she kicked him in the side not lightly but at the same time not with enough force to seriously injure him. "I don't know what the hell is going on but I don't like it. I also need to find that Mortimer guys so I can tear him to shreds, so lets go." Karina stated taking the lead in searching for a way out of the place.

"No, don't go." Thea said when Tessa offered to leave. "You were talking to her first and I interrupted. I should be the one leaving if anything. Sorry. I can be quiet and patiently wait. I don't mind." Thea said, feeling slightly embarrassed that she almost scared the new person away. Yes she wanted to talk to Skadi and share her exciting news, but she didn't however want to scare the lady off or ruin Skadi's conversation, or deny the girl the help she was asking for.

Aedion took back his ring and pocketed it only giving the boy a small nod. When he said his name Aedion glanced at the boy. "Nice to meet you Yu, however now is not the time for pleasantries, lets get going." Aedion responded before leading the trek back towards the city, just in time for the meeting that he was supposed to attend. That being said he did not have time to change or clean up, nor did he want to. He knew the servants and his father would make such a fuss over his torn and bloody clothing even if the wounds were healed.

~When the arrived at the meeting~

Aedion was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, he had his mask off revealing his fine featured face. Aedion wanted to introduce Yu to Neoph, however when Neoph entered the room he didn't leave time for chatting, instead going straight down to business. Well that was annoying, perhaps after the meeting then. One way or another they had to get some information on the boy and perhaps offer him some safety, however that was not something Aedion really cared to do on his own.

When Neoph asked if there was questions Aedions mind was racing to calculate what he heard and trying to think of motive as well as why he would choose there and why did he need so many nobodies. But instead of asking questions that he knew no one would have the answer to, Aedion was quite direct with his question.
"So then what is the plan? I mean you can't expect us all to run in there on that little information with no plan. We will die like all the other guards sent and quite frankly, I don't feel like dying and my father would murder anyone who did survive for letting me die, we all know that." Aedion stated as he stared at Neoph, obviously serious and wanting a straight answer. Even if it was there was no plan and they had to make one. He needed to know,

Silvia sat at the table in the far corner of the guild hall sorting through many of her ingredients. She decided that she would start to make a few tonics and potions, mostly out of practice with making them, but also would allow her to have them ready on hand if she needed them. Silvia found the small, compact burner, and set it up on the table, followed by the matching pot that went with it. The pot was not overly big itself but it was enough to fit two cups of liquid, all she would need for one tonic. With the ingredients spread around her Silvia started to work on her first of many tonics, mumbling to herself the ingredients she needed as she went along. The girl seemed very concentrated as she began with a grey liquid as the base and began to toss in other ingredients to it, carefully measuring each one, stopping every so often to stir and adjust the temperature.

Aedion let out a sigh to the boys response. One word that was all he had gotten after all that. Well at least he now knew that the boy wasn't a mute, he just didn't like talking. That made his life easier in some ways, but more difficult in others. Aedion's arms were crossed, his hand playing with the bandage on his right arm. He contemplated taking off his mask, showing the boy his face, a favour for bringing him help, but in the end he didn't. He didn't feel like it, and he was a Whitethorn, he didn't owe anyone anything, part of the perks of being rich.

Aedion instinctively reached for his sword as the boy pulled a gun and shot at him, despite the words he was saying. Aedion knew he wouldn't have time to do anything about the gun shot, but he had to try. However he soon realized that the searing pain in his arm, instead of getting greater, disappeared all together. He could feel his skin mending itself under the bandage. Aedion hesitated before removing the bandage from over the wound and examining the spot it had previously been. He had to admit he was impressed if not a little confused. However the idea of magic was not new to him, he just didn't use it himself. The idea of thanking the boy crossed Aedions mind followed by the thought of all the lectures on how you never thank anyone unless the are of greater importance than you, and that was very few. Aedion simply let out a long sigh before changing the topic.
"I want my ring back by the way. Father would murder me for losing it again."

Skadi did indeed acknowledge her but the other girl went on talking about her own problem and Skadi seemed to not care to guess about what she had to say. Thea was super excited but forced to sit and not talk while Skadi talked to this other person. Thea didn't like that too much but supposed that she could live and deal with it. Eventually Skadi had to finish talking and then she would really listen to what Thea had to say. So while she waited she simply played with various ribbons and strings on her dress, keeping her eyes averted and humming a sweet tune. She occasionally glanced at Tessa wondering if she knew what she had done, or who she was, or even cared about that stuff. However right now Tessa's attention seemed to be more on finding the dragon slayer friend of hers. That being said the fact he was a dragon slayer was not much information to go on.

The was staying near Vance when she saw that Skadi "Skadi! Skadi!" She screamed as she left her fathers side and ran to Skadi. "Guess what?!" She said before noticing the person Skadi was talking to. "Oh sorry..." Thea said as she saw the person Skadi was with. She clasped her hands behind her back and swayed while waiting for them to acknowledge she was there and allow her to talk.

Aello arrived with the boy with her not long after. She didn't say anything simply taking out a nobody then isolating one. This let Aedion fight and kill the other nobody with relative ease, though his arm was burning. Blood seeped through his shirt more. "Aello, I have to leave that one to you, sorry." Aedion said as he used his sword to rip a piece of his shirt off and tie it around his arm, cringing in the process. Aedion then turned to the boy. "You should't have come back, it is dangerous." Aedion told the boy. He then stepped back leaning against the tree. "You know you two are alike in some ways. Not a word. It is almost creepy. Don't get me wrong my father taught me well the importance of silence, perhaps too much, but he also taught me the importance of words. If you ever want to make good connections with someone then you have to make good first impressions. The way you do that is to talk." Aedion said in a very uncaring tone.

He watched Aello fight for a while before speaking again.
"Well if you don't mind finishing that up quickly, because I know you can, we have a meeting." He then turned to the boy. "By the way you are coming too. When I find a mysterious quiet boy fighting nobodies right outside my town, I have some questions." Aedion said to Higure seeming not too concerned about his arm. He obviously didn't want to seek attention on it.

"Oh... your father was mean? That is unfair. Is he going to be mad at you for adopting me?" Thea asked Vance quietly and nervously. She didn't want to be the cause of a problem between a family. Thea didn't know what to think of it all. She was a little nervous but she was going to be fine, she knew she would, Vance cared for her and that was all that mattered. Then it was mentioned that Zephrine was going to join the guild. "No...." She said quietly. "You will keep her away from me, right?" Thea asked.

"You said that last time and things just got worse." Silvia said to Leo. "Lets go...." She said quietly as she walked away ready to head home. She wasn't really in the mood to be talked out of her depressed state. She just wanted to head back to the guild and just hide, and that was exactly what she did. She sat down on at a back table of the guild hall keeping to herself quietly creating medicines to keep herself occupied.

Sapphire jumped awake as Xindai was released. A nightmare, but it wasn't one at all, this time it was a vision, her powers giving her warning of what had just happened. Sapphire shuttered as she used her powers to survey the situation in time to see Ghosts demise. "No... I am so sorry Ghost." She shuttered knowing there was nothing she could do about it. "Glen. He has been released." Sapphire told him although she knew that he knew already due to the temporary power she had granted him. She then watched as Zavion tried to stand up and fight him. "Zavion. Take your sister and run. You can't fight that. Trust me, not in the shape you guys are in, get out of there please." Sapphire begged her son through telepathic powers, but it was too late for that. Tears stung Sapphires eyes as fear gripped her heart. "R... What do I do?" She asked.
Freya was still sitting on the ground watching in horror as Xindai killed Ghost while there was nothing she could do about it. She was so helpless. Then his attention was turned towards them... no just Zavion, just the real threat. Freya searched for more power, the power that could save her brother from this horrible man, but came up empty. She had used up too much already. "That can't be the end up my power! It Can't!" Freya said with a bit of anger as she watched helplessly, listening to her brothers screams. "No... Ghost.... Zavion.... I am so sorry. Please don't go. Don't leave me!" Freya cried out while tears streamed down her cheeks. "I am the daughter of a goddess, and I couldn't even stop this. I am so useless. Why does mom have to be bound to Riel and not me. Why can't I take moms place. Why can't she roam the world and truly save people when I can't." Freya was not asking anyone really, simply talking out loud, hating herself for everything.

"Look, over there." A voice whispered in Freya's mind, her mothers voice, warm and comforting, yet Freya could hear the fear laced in it despite Sapphires best efforts to hide it. Freya did as she was told and looked up towards Ghost in time to see Beuce save him, bring him back.

"I can't do that mom... I can't save Zavion. I am out of power, I am a pitiful demi-goddess." Freya replied to her mother as her attention was turned back to Zavion. He was gone, there was no saving him now.

"Then use mine. Freya we are connected, look deep inside for this connection and borrow some of my power. Save him. Save everyone. You can't fight Xindai but you can get them out." Sapphire encourage. Freya obeyed, searching for the connection, for another source of power that she was connected to, her mothers. Her mothers blood flowed through her veins and thus they shared a strong bond allowing her to reach some of her mothers strength. Not all, but enough to save Zavion.

"Hold on Zavion." Freya said as she found the power, pulling it up through her. A blast of light came from Freya that was able to extinguish the flames. Following that came a high level of cure, one that she had never been able to use before and she doubted anyone would know. It would be more than enough to save Zavion's life, but again left Freya more than drained. She had used all the power her mother was able to give her.

"My heart... Zavion help me get to Lexcifur. My heart, my shield.. he could use it. He could save us. He could use it to protect everyone. My shield is strong enough." Freya told Zavion, her voice was weak once again and she seemed very tired. There was not much more that she could do besides offer her heart. "I can't save everyone myself. I wish I could." She told him as well, a fact she was sure Zavion already knew.

Meanwhile back on Riel, in the cave in the center of the world Sapphire was sitting once more. She was feeling the effects of the power Freya had used, as she had borrowed perhaps a little too much. However that being said Zavion should be safe, now she just had to trust him to get them out of there, all of them. "You did good Freya..." Sapphire comforted her daughter before looking up at Glen. "We need Excalibur. " That was all she told him, she knew that Glen would need no further instruction.

Alisia watched in fear and awe as the Hero was released. He came and killed the man they were fighting before turning to another person who was against them. The hero would truly help them. He would create a perfect world, one the goddess couldn't achieve. "Stay back." She told Audrey softly as she stood up and started nervously approaching Dane. She didn't have the guts to talk to Xindai but perhaps Dane could. Perhaps Dane would get him to help them fight against the goddess.

Alisia walked up beside Dane and surveyed the damage he had done in his battle before speaking.
"Please, get him to join us. With his help we can defeat the goddess." She said. She had always hoped when the hero was released that he would save her from Dane. But Alisia feared the hero as well and couldn't bring herself to ask him to, and after what Dane had told her about his life she felt a little bad for him. Perhaps she could escape without him getting killed. Perhaps he would have a change of heart after they defeated the goddess.. perhaps.... Everything was just perhaps.
The person who released the Hero was one of the last people that Xander would have expected to do it. However he couldn't complain, after all it is what they came here for, release the hero. The boy could pay the price for his own stupidity among his friends, but he had just completed the task that they were out to stop from happening. Part of Xander wondered why that was, but he shook it off. Xander stood in the distance watching with calm collected, cool attitude as Xindai killed two people. When that was over he took long, careful strides towards Xindai. When reaching him Xander pulled down his hood, revealing his face.

"Now that we have released you, I ask but one request of you, then I will follow you to whatever end." Xander started before looking at Alisia. "Her, free her from Danes grasp. Return her to me. She is only a child that he broke and used to his own gain. Just save her and in return I will do whatever you ask of me." Xander requested as he planted his sword in the ground and bent down one one knee to show his submission to the hero. If this was what it took, he would do it.
"So this is it right? We completed our task. What now?" Gwen asked as she turned to Hunter. She was only there to get the task complete and now that it was there wasn't much left for her. However there was one good side about the entire situation, and that being during this adventure she had got Hunter. That being said with it over she doubted that they would go and live a comfy life somewhere and start a family. There was pretty much no chance of that. So what were they to do next? Was there another task for them to do or what? She didn't know so she looked to the oh so wise Hunter for advice.

The battle continued on, Aedion trying to conserve energy while still trying to take out the heartless in good timing. This however proved more difficult than he thought as he got thrown on the defensive side of things. Attack after attack he blocked and dodged until he found an opening to move in. However this only half worked. Aedion was able to break past some defenses and kill one of the dusks with three quick but heavy slashes, however as it fell back it's friend was there behind it, charging towards him. Aedion nearly dodged it's attack but not fully. The long sharp tail like thing that was sticking out of the ground caught his arm, cutting it. Blood began to seep through his clean white tunic and black jacket. "Damn it. That was my favourite coat." He mumbled.

Aedion didn't have time to mourn the loss of his coat however, he had some bigger issues to deal with. There was three more nobodies threatening his life. Well at least he got the kid to safety, but dying was not really an option. If he died then his father would bring him back to murder him himself for leaving him without a proper heir. So that being said he had to go back to fighting with all him might, ignoring his stinging arm. The cut was painful, but he would have to deal with that later.

"Thank you, your majesty" were the only words that Silvia could find to reply to the king and the prince. She gave them another bow before she turned to walk away. Silvia didn't get very far before Leo approached her. She was glad to have a friendly face at her side. Not that anyone there wasn't friendly, just Leo seemed to show more concern for her mental state then most.

"No... I am not." Silvia admitted quiet enough the the King or Prince wouldn't have to hear her problems. Silvia couldn't bring herself to look at him, or anyone for that matter at that moment. That was partly because she was ashamed at herself for pitying herself. She didn't deserve the pity, even from herself. "Why did she have to go get herself killed? And Sara and Amanda, they are either hurt or killed and someone took their place or we beat our friends so they nearly died and then left them in the middle of the forest. Either way it is horrible. All I ever wanted to do was help people. I am a healer. That is all. I just wanted to protect people, save lives but so many people have died and I couldn't do anything about it." She said, her voice shaky, trying to fight back the tears. "Even with my skills, they are no longer needed here. I mean even Damian is better than me at healing and such. I don't belong here Leo. I can't do this. But I have no where to go anymore. What do I do?" She asked him, not knowing if he would actually have an answer for her.

Thomas leaned forward and rested his arm on Charlotte's shoulder. "Y-you know you aren't half bad. Thanks for taking the hit." He managed to say before stepping beside Charlotte to actually make his move. "But you are nothing like my girl Lucia. I mean for one she is actually hot. Second, she isn't nearly as manly."
