Ah, I see...looking for people to join?
Yeah, used to watch the cartoons when I was younger. Why?
Sota was still tossing and turning in his sleep, clearly in pain. Sota looked at Dark, "Dark? What's going on here?" Dark walked closer to the firey cage, "I'm sorry, Sota. You're feeling the full effect of us bonding together. I was hoping my stealing would attract my original partners in time, but it doesn't look like they were able to track me down in time. You and I are becoming permenantly attached to one another."
Sota lay in bed, his stomach lurching. He kept muttering, "Sorry...so sorry..." in his sleep. Sota was lost in his mind, everything around him completely white. He was trapped in a cage of white fire. He looked around, completely confused. Dark walked towards him, slowly. "How're you holding up, Sota?"
Sota struggled to get up, and shuffled his way to the nurses office. He managed to get to the foot of the nurses door when he fell to his knees again.
Sota was leaning on a desk, having a hard time keeping focus. He slowly sank to his knees, looking like he was going to throw up again. "I think so," he managed. He was breathing hard, and starting to sweat.
Sota hadn't moved since the teacher picked her up. Once he came back in, Sota tried to get back to his seat, but was having difficulty walking to his desk.
Sota managed to make it back into the classroom to see Kairi pass out. He quickly walked to her desk, and tried to wake her up.
Sota raced into an empty stall and threw up. After about a minute or two, he stopped, but sat there for a few minutes, trying to settle down.
The more Sota heard the girls talk about Dark, the more sick he felt. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore. He tore off from his desk out the room, towards the nearest restroom he could find.
Sota stared at his desk, occasionally glancing up at Kairi.
Sota sighed in relief as Kairi left; he just didn't feel up to talking to her right now. He quickly went inside the classroom, sat down, and tried to tune out all the Dark-crazed girls.
Sota entered the hallway leading straight to his homeroom. He saw Kairi come out of the classroom, from the end of the hallway, and froze dead in his tracks.
Sota entered the school grounds, and saw how fast the school newspapers were selling, all with Dark on the front page. He felt sick to his stomach, dreading what Kairi was going to say about this.
Sota woke up when his alarm went off, and got ready without even thinking. He got prepared, made sure With wasn't in his bag, and left for school at 6:30.
"Will you stop pouting, already?" said Dark, as they were flying over the city, "I guarentee that Kairi will still be willing to speak to you, after all this. I mean, it's me who stole this thing, anyway!" Sota shook his head, "It's not just that...where are we going to put this thing? If you're going to continue stealing, whether I'm in or not, my apartment's going to fill up pretty quick!" Dark laughed, "Don't worry, this is the last thing that's going into your neighborhood." Dark landed in Sota's bedroom, placed the Towa no Hana in Sota's closet, and fell face first onto Sota's bed. He set the alarm clock for 5:30, then fell asleep.
Dark flew over the crowd and landed on the roof of the museum. The people cheered as soon as they saw him land. Dark navigated swiftly and quietly through the hallways, knowing exactly where to go. He stuck by the shadows when police were in the hallways, and managed to get to the room where the Towa no Hana was kept. It was a red rose, held upright along a pole with supports, contained within a glass container. Sota breathed, "It's beautiful...it doesn't look fake at all; like a real rose..." Dark smiled, "Sounds like becoming a thief is starting to appeal to you." Sota protested, but Dark ignored him. He hovered to the container, picked it up, then quickly crashed through a window to make his escape, before the alarms sounded. The people cheared again as they saw Dark fly off.
Dark flew over the museum, grinning to the fact that a large crowd, particularly girls, cops, and tv reporters had already arrived. He landed on a nearby roof, and checked the clock tower: 10 minutes to showtime. Sota groaned in Dark's head, "Oh, maaaan...Kairi's really not going to like the fact that we're stealing and I didn't tell her..." Dark laughed, "Well, maybe you should just stay like this. Then, you won't have to tell her!" Sota was appalled, but before he could interject, Dark cut him off, "Time to work, Sota!" He jumped off the roof, and proceeded to the museum.
Sota sat in front of the balcony at his apartment, tired with how the day went. He checked his clock: 9:30. "Okay, Dark, exactly what are you up to?" he said, looking at a mirror and seeing Dark's face. Dark shrugged, a smug look on his face, "Not much. Just about to go steal the 'Towa no Hana'." Sota felt his heart pick up. In little to no time, he had transformed into Dark. "With!" said Dark. With quickly became Dark's wings. He walked onto the balcony, jumped off, and flew towards the main parts of the city.
Sota got on the tram car and headed for home. Once he was there, he set the bags down, and fed With, who was still angry with Sota for making him stay home.
