It turned out throughout the course of the party, Silvia didn't end up doing anything but standing around. She avoided a couple people, those who she walked away from dinner with the other night. Besides that there was nothing that she could think of to do, up until the magic selection ceremony started. Silvia found a place among everyone to watch as they started to select magics. The more Silvia watched, the more frightened she was to select her own magic. After all a giant goat head floated to Calxiyn when she selected, and it look none to pleasant. What would her selection be like? Did it hurt to get powers? Silvia didn't know so it frightened her. However the power selection didn't seem to go as smoothly as planned when an unexpected guest showed up. Looking upon the man, Ezekiel images of Leviathan's death flashed through her mind, causing the girl to tremble. How did he get back? Why was he here? Would he end up doing more damage then last time? Thoughts raced through Silvia's mind as she watched, froze in wide eyed horror. Surprisingly enough Lucia didn't stop him from kissing her. She didn't kiss him back but the fact she allowed it was a big step for Thomas. Lucia then said she had to go talk to Evanora. Thomas was disappointed that their moment couldn't have lasted longer but she had just won the tournament and therefore he understood that she had a lot to do. On top of that Thomas was kind of naive to how uncomfortable he had just made Lucia. "See you later Lucia. Good luck, and Congratulations again." Thomas yelled after her. A while later came the selection ceremony. Thomas was rather unphased by the process unlike some that watched it. However that changed when Ezekiel showed up. "Ezekiel." Thomas growled. "Ezekiel! We kicked your butt and threw you out to the middle of nowhere once, and now you are back? You are asking to die. You attacked us and started a war against Sapphire Eclipse! You are brave to show your face here." Thomas called out. He wanted to run forward to attack Ezekiel himself but he felt tired, and not confident enough to actually properly fight the man by himself. He would let others lead the charge and fight instead. "This is getting bad, there isn't much time." Thomas mumbled to himself referring to the tiredness he felt. He wouldn't stop fighting till the very end but slowly it was getting harder and harder to, but it was his price to pay for what he had done. Lucia getting her magics was odd, but okay. However when Calxiyn got hers, it only gave Thea more reason to fear the girl. Who had a flaming goat head appear for a magic anyways? The thing frightened Thea and she didn't want to watch, instead she hid behind a large pole in the back of the room, peering out every now and then to see what was happening. However Thea was truly and fully scared of Calxiyn. The girl not only hated her and wanted her dead but now had a demonic goat head fused with her and exploded into fire to get her powers. She must be evil, or so Thea thought. Her fears did not have time to be quelled before they grew. Thea was not watching what was happening but instead hiding behind the pole still when she thought she heard a familiar voice. This voice was not one that she wanted to hear. Her suspicions were confirmed with Thomas' outburst. Thea let out a whimper as her entire body began to shake. She slid down to the ground so she was seated against the pole and she only prayed that no one could see her. She couldn't imagine what Ezekiel would do to her if he found that she joined the guild that she was sent to destroy. Tears flowed down the young girls face as her finger tips lightly brushed over the guild emblem of her old guild, something that she never did get rid of. As much as Thea tried to control it so no one would know she was there, she couldn't help but cause the temperature in the room rise. Anyone who knew Thea would know she was in the room somewhere because of this. That fact however only made matters worse for Thea as she hid in fear of what was to come. Ezekiel would surely kill her or severely punish her as soon as he saw her. She had thought she escaped but now everything was falling apart. The only thing she could think of was to keep others away from her. If Ezekiel didn't know she had friends here, or a father for that matter, perhaps he wouldn't hurt them because of her. "Please just don't let this me my end." Thea begged quietly as she sobbed in silence. She didn't know who she was talking to, perhaps some deity somewhere. She just needed to ask something, anything for help and she didn't care what.

Name: Destiny Raven Age: 17 Gender: Female World of Origin: Ashen Rose Home worlds status: intact but the darkness is starting to move closer Affiliation: Light Keyblade Name: Destiny isn't trained in how to use weapons that well. She is willing to take and try whatever weapon someone provides her with but has no means of getting her own. She can however use magic fairly well. How she travels is through a star shard that her father had locked away and she can soon get her hands on. (She may gain the ability to use a keyblade later, but for now she can't) Character Appearance: ~ Personality: Destiny is rather happy girl, despite her life. She tries to look on the good side of everything and generally isn't hateful towards anyone. She is a little unsure of herself but will do whatever is asked of her. Destiny is soft spoken, you are not likely to hear her opinions, and she is not quite sure what to do with herself sometimes. However she has the strength to move forward in her life everyday, no matter how hard things get and rarely complains about it. Character bio: Destiny's story begins at her birth. She was born to a beautiful young woman named Crystal. Her father was a keyblade master, and had left to fight in the keyblade war, therefor not being there for the birth of their very special daughter. Destiny was not born like most people on her world, but born with a set of small, silky black wings. This was abnormal in their world but not unseen. It had been said those who were born with these wings were destined to be powerful, great, and filled with more kindness than anyone had seen. They were set to be great rulers. And thus Destiny's future was set out for her, one her mother thought would be great. Things didn't go as smoothly as planned however with her life. A man,who used to be royalty and help rule their world approached Destiny's mother, offering to help her care for the child till it's father returned. Graciously Crystal accepted, blind to the other motives. As soon as the child turned three and was no longer as dependent on her mother, the man killed Crystal and took Destiny into his care. You see this man was very bitter about the fact he went from ruler to nothing because of a black winged man who was born years before. Because of chance in birth that man became ruler and he became nothing. He was bitter and didn't want to just kill those who were born with the wings, no that would be too easy. They had to suffer for the suffering they caused him. So Derick, the formal ruler, raised the child, but not in a good way. He would beat her and torture her when she didn't do what he asked or didn't do it correctly. He treated her worse then a slave. He barely gave her the food she needed to survive, and kept her locked inside. However Destiny proved to be resilient. No matter how much he beat her or tortured her, no matter how little he gave her to eat, no matter how close he though he was to her death, she always lived, and not just lived but with a beautiful song on her lips. The girl would take whatever was thrown on her, and by the end of the day would come out singing even still. *Will most likely make a second character tomorrow when I have time.
"I am fine." Karina responded to Kross once again, though it could also address Kel. Could the man not figure out that she did not quite want to talk? "If I snap I will not take it out on you guys so you have nothing to worry about Kel. For now I will be fine. The electricity might hurt but it isn't the worst I have been through and by far won't be the last time she went though something worse. Karina decided for a fact that she was fine and whether it was true or not was questionable but she wouldn't admit it. This was just how she was and people should come to expect it. Why was it that people where trying to help her. She did not want help really, or that is what she let herself believe. Karina could sense her life falling to pieces and didn't know what to do about it, however still she pushed people away. Never let them in. Never let them help. She was on a path to destruction and didn't do anything to stop it.
Thea hesitated at the idea of going back to her room. She didn't like to spend much time there. "I don't know if going back to my room would be such a good idea. One of my roommates is loud and annoying and acts strange and I don't like it. The other one scares me because I think she might want to kill me." Thea explained. However they couldn't stand outside forever, Thea knew that, they would have to find somewhere to sit soon. Shani then mentioned that having kids would require a man to choose her and how no one would. "I don't think that is true. I think plenty of guys would want you. I mean you are beautiful, and nice, and smart. I don't think it would be a problem finding someone to marry you." Thea exclaimed. Thea was amazed to think that Shani had a ship and a crew of her own. She stared up at the woman in wide eyed wonder. She then continued to suggest that her and Vance join her on a mission in which Shani would be in charge of transporting them too. "Really? Can we come? I would love to see your ship!" Thea exclaimed before she stopped to think about her powers... "Then again... It might not be such a good idea. I don't want to do something and accidentally wreck your ship or something like that." She mentioned looking down slightly ashamed that she still didn't have enough control to feel confident to travel without wrecking something along the way.
Thea was caught off guard and confused by Shani's reaction. In the young girls mind it seemed like a perfectly fine and innocent question, not something that would be so hard to answer and invoke such stutters. Thea cocked her head to the side curiously as she waited for the woman to answer her question. However the answer was not so simply as she would expect. "Gadgo? Marine? Roma? What do those even mean?" Thea asked as she mispronounced most of them. She had never heard of the words before, or these rules, they made no sense to her. From there things only got more confusing. With Shani continuing to hesitate and change what she was speaking on, Thea found it hard to understand. She did however catch two things. First of all was Shani's comment of class, and second being her final decision. "Sir Conrad told me in the guild class doesn't matter, so would that not hold with something like marriage?" Thea asked, talking about the subject like it was something simple and basic and not be fret over at all. Though Thea was still rather naive to things like relationships, and love, and how things worked in the real world. The young girl still seemed to see love as something as simple as seen in a fairy tale. Something in which she had read many previously in her life. The final thing that Shani said stuck another note of curiosity with Thea. "If you like being around father, why run from the party? Was there just too many people there? I know lots of people can be overwhelming. Maybe if we go somewhere quieter and wait father will come find us and then you can spend time with him and me without so many people there..." Thea suggested. As she did so she thought of something. If Shani were to marry Vance what would that make Shani to her? "Um Red... Do you ever want kids?" Thea hesitated to ask.
Thea didn't know what to think when Shani laughed at her. She shifted weight on her feet feeling a bit uncomfortable because of it. Then she made a comment on her language, something Thea hadn't noticed because she was simply quoting someone else. "Father wouldn't say anything I don't think. I don't think he quite knows what to do with me. Daddy on the other hand, he would have scolded me for using it and say it was very unlady like." Thea explained as she looked at the ground. She knew Vance was trying but it just wasn't the same as how her father raised her, and to be honest, no matter how much she hated getting in trouble, she missed it. Shani tried to change the subject but Thea caught that. She didn't want to talk about Vance and how he might love her, because slowly as she cared for him more she also feared him replacing her real father in her heart. She wanted family so badly, but she still wanted to hang onto the one that was gone. "Why won't you be around father much anymore? He seemed so happy whenever he was with you. That is what scared me the most, but I do want him to be happy. I can take care of myself, I have for four years..." Thea trailed off as she thought of what she was saying. "I think father might really like you... and I suppose if it makes him happier, and you don't hate me like many others... well I suppose I can share." Thea offered quietly, not quite sure what she was saying or where she was going with this. But she knew that she didn't want to be a burden to Vance more than she was and pushing someone that made him happy away... that might be a bit unfair. "Red.... do you want to marry father?" Thea finally asked shyly as her face turned slightly red. She had thought of the idea in the past but passed it off because she didn't like it, and now that she was talking to the woman, she was itching to know.
Karina shot Kross a cold glare. "There is a reason for that." She responded, offering no explanation to what the reason was. It had nothing to do with Kross, just people in general. She didn't quite feel like letting anyone else close. She didn't feel like disappointing them more and given the stunt she tried to pull, thinking she might die for her sacrifice, she didn't want to allow her leaving, whether it to be walking away, or dying, to effect anyone. Karina was a mess and she knew it, that was why she was avoiding everyone, it was just easier that way. However it seemed like she wasn't allowed to avoid people. Karina's attention shifted to Kel as he approached her as well, asking how she was holding up. "Okay. Fine. What does it matter really." Karina responded to his question in a rather annoyed tone. Sometimes she wished she would wake up to find everything was just a dream, and that she was back home, but the thought of being back home also scared her. There was nothing easy about her life, though she wished there was. She was struggling through it day by day, jumping between letting people in, and blocking them out. From her point of view, neither seemed to help. Karina was tempted to just walk away from the two males who approached her, but she was still sore from the shock and thought best not to push herself too hard yet, even if that meant putting up with people, despite making a clear effort to stay away from them.
Thea listened closely to what Conrad was telling her though she seemed rather anxious while standing there listening. He breath smelt similar to how that man did that made her run off and get lost. And on top of that he seemed to be acting a but different, this made Thea very uncomfortable. She didn't totally understand what was going on but what she did know is that she should get out of his hair as soon as possible before she said or did anything even more wrong to upset him, he didn't seem to be in the most pleasant of moods at that time after all. "Um... thanks for the advice Sir Conrad. I better be going." Thea said sounding a bit rushed as she was trying to be polite before running off. She didn't want to be rude, but she didn't want to be around Conrad, not when he was acting like that. Thea made a small curtsy before running off. Thea had not made it that far before she noticed the person in whom her father seemed to take a liking too, walk off looking rather upset. Thea immediately wondered if she had heard her, and Lady Nessa talking and was upset by that. Thea thought it best to go after the woman and apologize. She was scared the woman was taking her father away, but she by no means wanted to hurt her feelings. She just didn't want to lose family again. Thea didn't have time to tell anyone where she was going, or make sure someone saw where she was going, she needed to catch up to Shanti. Thea ran after the woman as fast as she could, nearly tripping over her dress a couple times. When she finally got to her, Thea slowed down so she could talk. "Excuse me, miss Shanti. Are you upset because you heard Lady Nessa and I talking? If so I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I just was afraid with father seeming to be spending a lot of time with you, he wouldn't care about me and just move on. He might claim I am his daughter but it isn't official yet, I don't want him to change his mind before we can make it official." Thea said beginning to sound slightly sad. "And for the record I don't believe what Lady Nessa told me. I don't believe you will rob us blind. Sir Conrad even told me that was a load of bullcrap. So you shouldn't worry about that." Thea informed the older woman as she looked up at her, the tiara on her head slightly askew from running to catch up. "I really am sorry." She apologized. Trevor did his best not to wince or make it obvious he was struggling as Gexln yelled out for Derk. He so didn't need to deal with this right now. Instead of paying attention to the overly drunk man, he turned to the person he was serving. "You must pardon my friend, he has one too many to drink tonight and will be leaving now." He said scowling at Gexln. Trevor's head trobbed as he turned from the man in order to make his drink, pouring coke into a cup and adding an umbrella to make it look more fancy and to the rest like he might actually be partaking in drinking like the rest of them. "Here you are. Just let me know if you need anything else and stay clear-" Trevor was cut short as George nearly took over, his eyes seemed blank for a second before he returned to normal. "stay clear of Gexln, he can be a bit.... insistent when drunk." Trevor said finishing his sentence, trying to pretend like nothing happened. He really didn't need to show these young members what his problem was. They hadn't much a chance to see it until this point, and he sure hoped they wouldn't come to see it at a party like this one.
Karina could take her plans not working, but mocking her about them not working on top of it all? No she was not okay with that. The frustration just grew and grew the more the doctor stood there, and stopped their attacks... Well that was until he electrocuted her. Karina let go and jumped back with a yelp, her back slamming against the bars of her cage. Karina slowly let herself sink to the ground in pain. "You b*stard." She grumbled as she glared at him. There was no point in getting up at that moment, it was all helpless, and Karina's head was still pounding from the electricity that was just shot through her. Karina could barely keep focused on what was going on around her, not that she really cared, but she was more focused on the pain in her body then anything else. She could see the others come in, they were safe and they were with the bunny from before. Something was happening with the doctor, but Karina's ears were still ringing making it hard to hear properly. Soon the cages were released and Karina nearly fell flat on her back, given she was using the bars as support. Luckily she managed to keep her balance before she could embarrass herself more than she already had. It took another moment before Karina got to her feet, but soon she did, keyblade in hand. Oh how she wished that she could run and bash the freak over the head with it, but from previous experience she knew that wouldn't work. Silently Karina moved away from everyone, finding a place on the back wall to lean against quietly. She didn't want to face those she tried to sacrifice herself to save. She did not want to face those who just saw her and believed she might have a plan for escape only to watch her fail and fall. She did not want to face the one who caught them or the ones she had to rely on to save them. She did not want any of that, because she was Karina. She didn't need anyone else's help, sympathy or mocking. She could find a way to do things on her own and she would.
"Thanks. I am Samuel Leighyard." The boy said as he took his star back from the lady Remy nearly hit with it. Samuel then stood there in awkward silence until his brother approached. He didn't know what to say to the girl, he never knew what to say to girls, or really most people who hadn't pissed him off. Thankfully for him the girl quickly walked off to go deal with an argument between some guy and the girl who was insulting him after his fight with Remy. Samuel so wanted to have a word with her as well, he didn't appreciate what she had said to him, but instead he figured it was better to just speak with his brother. The bright blued eyed boy looked down almost ashamed at his brother, Oscar's, comment. "Everything is fine. He was just annoying me with that constant throwing of a card. I was trying to read, just to calm myself down, and he wasn't helping." Samuel commented. Whenever Samuel was nervous or unsure he found reading settled his mind, if you could even call the speed he went through books at reading, and the type of book (a text book) really a book. He was an odd child, there was no question about that. "I didn't expect him to get so mad over something that small and I didn't think he would be so reckless with one of pa's throwing stars like that. I am sure he would be ashamed of me right now. Sorry Oscar." The young boy said, keeping his eyes on the ground. For all the knowledge Samuel had, he was never good at reading people and anticipating responses to things. To him it was just a dumb card with thousands like it. How was he supposed to know it meant something more? However once the argument started Samuel couldn't just back down, then Oscar would have felt the need to step in, but he didn't want to always be relying on Oscar. He was fifteen now, plenty old enough to take care of himself, and mentally many considered him a lot older, until they saw him in social situations, that was a bit different. Alexis let out a long sigh as Alpha and Operator began to fight. She walked over to the two of them, swaying her hips as she did so. "Now now you both seem a little tense. It isn't good for you. I have a way that can make you less tense though, if you let me." Alexis said as she placed her hands on Operator's chest and began sliding them down closer to his belt. She began using both her power of seduction and her power of suggestion on him to try to get him to calm down. "Just relax a little, let off some steam, you don't have to take out your stress on this lady, just let me handle that." Alexis said. Truth be told the idea of doing this turned her stomach. At this point she wasn't doing it because she wanted something out of it but because she felt she needed to do it, and that feel was horrible to her, made her feel like she was a slave once again, however if it would stop them from fighting she would do whatever she had to. Things weren't looking good here, and if her seduction didn't work she could at least put herself in the line of fire before they blow everything up or each other, neither of which would be good for the rest of them.
"Why risk my life out there? Well I do every other day of the year, every other moment, why should today be any exception." Seth's tone suddenly became deadly serious. Out of everything just said this was what Bryce chose to talk on? It was something Seth didn't want to talk about, he never wanted to talk about. If there was something Seth was the least bit sensitive about it was how he was forced to live, when he actually had to face the truth of what his life was. He could usually pass it off as a joke but when people forced him to look at it for what it really was, a life of running and hiding so he didn't get killed, well that drove him up the wall. "I am not promising something I am not serious about. I will take her away from here for a short while. And you have to world wrong in some ways. It isn't as harsh as you think if you learn to blend in with it. How do you think I survived? I promise you if I took her away from here for a bit, I would keep her safe. Have you not noticed how her being kind and posing no threat to a witcher hasn't got her killed but kept her alive? I think her kindness may work to her advantage, so get the stick out of your *ss and let the little lady live a little." Seth retorted. Bryce honestly hadn't seen as much as he had and therefore didn't know how to handle the real world. It wasn't that Tessa wasn't ready to face it, but he wasn't, or at least that is what Seth thought. Shortly after Bryce asked for a personal favour. At first Seth didn't respond just stood there. When Bryce put his hand on his shoulder, Seth returned the gesture by bringing his arm up and grabbing Bryce's forearm. "I will make sure she gets home safe." Seth said. When they released Seth turned around putting on his regular nor caring about anything demeanor. "Well see ya around." He called out over his shoulder before entering the bar once more.
Seth could feel the tension in the air emitted by Bryce, but him, he remained completely calm. "Yeah, yeah. I am coming." Seth said with a wave of his hand as he followed Bryce outside. "Later Micheal, I will be sure to stop back in if I am allowed." Seth called back to Tessa before walking out, making sure to shut the door behind him. "So lets just get the yelling over with so I can find a nice comfortable spot somewhere to hide and try to catch some sleep before it gets too dark. Do you know how hard it is to find spots that are safe after dark?" Seth knew he was not helping the situation, but at this point he was beyond caring. There wasn't much he could do about it now, may as well take the yelling, perhaps a couple punches, and move on.
"Chill you act like me being here is a bad thing. You ditched me at one place, why can't I walk to another. In all honesty I didn't even know she ran this place until he punching the wall woke me up from the nap I was having around the side of the building." Seth explained as he moved some hair out of his face. "As for that bargain, would you prefer me to show her around outside of this.... place you have here. She would be safe with me. After all nearly twenty five years of living on the streets with no real place to stay as a doppler and I am still here and living and doing well. I promise that I could take her out, quench her thirst to see more and return her safely here where you can live the rest of your dull, over protected lives." Seth said, realizing he wasn't making the situation much better, but what did he care? He never stuck around anywhere long anyways. If he caused too many problems then he would leave and continue his travels, never really settling in one place. Although Seth wore a smile on his face as he talked about taking Tessa to see the world and surviving in it for so long, in his heart he didn't want to smile. Deep down there was a sadness for not being able to experience their life. A loneliness caused by a life on the road. He hoped having someone with him would help, that was if it was allowed. He doubted Bryce would allow it though. Every time that Seth came across that man on his travels and mostly though his passes through Oxenfurt, Bryce seemed rather serious and a stickler for the rules. He doubted he would be allowed to leave with Tessa in tow, but it was worth a try. Aaron took Veera's signal and stopped talking when she signaled him to do so. He almost cringed at Veera's no questions asked way of thinking. He didn't like this idea, not at all but it was one of their only options for avoiding Crow. Aaron followed suite , resting his hand on his silver blade on his back before following the strange mage through the portal. Unlike Veera he wasn't nearly as calm, his hand was tense around the blade as they entered. He was ready to draw it at any moment given this was his first real experience out of the witcher academy, he couldn't be too careful. He however did take comfort in the fact the Veera was with him. He had always looked up to her throughout his training and to be fighting along side her was amazing for him. He had to trust her judgement no matter how off the situation felt to him. Terra walked out of the room, hesitating before she pulled the door shut behind her. She stood in complete discomfort and awe that she had just allowed someone to no only see inside Eric's study, but stay there. The place was like his tomb. She locked it tight and left it after his death, sealing everything that was him inside. It was only recently as she came closer to recreating the illness that had taken Eric away from her. Only then did she enter the room to remind herself of him and the promise she had made. Only then did she let her heart soften a bit and remember what Eric taught her after bringing her out of the life that she lead. But it was not done yet. She had to be a little stronger and then it would be finished. She could stop hurting those she spent so long caring for and start running the place int he way Eric had intended. But not yet... it was close but not yet. Terra silently made her way though the halls into her bedroom where she set the sword down on the desk. Walking across the room she grabbed polish for the sword and sat back down. "I am almost there Eric. Almost. Then I can be the person you want me to be. I promise I will become that person you showed me how to be, but not until it is safe. Not until I can stop him from using that damn illness to take something else away. Once I can do that then I promise, on your sword that I will be the matron you taught me to be, and will make amends for my old ways." Terra whispered quietly as she polished the steel oh so carefully. Alisa sat cross legged on her bed as she got ready to explain how things worked here. "Everyone was either brought here or found there way here from the streets yes, Lady Terra rarely turns anyone away. She will raise us and once we are eighteen we have to move out. But don't worry Lady Terra is good to us. She knows lots of half way houses to that will help us until we have money to get our own place to live and she knows lots of people that will let us work for them. Though if I remember correctly she wasn't originally from here so most of the people who leave have to travel somewhere else for the work that she could set up for them. Oh and when they leave, there is always a big party, and when everyone is in bed, Lady Terra gets the person who turned eighteen ready to go so for the kids that remained the leaving is a celebration and there is none of the hard goodbyes of watching them go after that end in tears." Alisa explained perhaps slightly too enthusiastically.
"I know the value of sentiment but sometimes you have to move on. You can't hold onto things forever." Samuel responded. In truth those throwing stars had a lot of sentiment to him, given that they were he fathers and one of few things that he had left of home, but Samuel was not about to let him know that he didn't want to give the man more to pick on him about. Samuel didn't let it show how much the comment about the family hurt him, because it was true, besides his brother he had no family left. His entire village had been destroyed years ago. Samuel instead of agreeing about no family, thought it high time to point out his family. "You are wrong however, I do have a family, my bother is right over there, and trust me, you do not want to mess with him." Samuel pointed at Oscar just as Remy threw his star and it almost hit a girl. Samuel backed off with a slight smirk as the girl who nearly got hit with the star stalked over to Remy, more than a little angry. He would have to ask for the star back in a moment, but for now he would let her yell at the brute. Samuel turned to see the damage done tot he door, but instead of seeing that, the door was open and a girl stood there instead, barely clothed. Samuel's face turned bright red as he turned away from her. He had never seen that much of a woman before and didn't know what to do with it. All his brains and all it took was a near naked girl to bring him down? Well that seemed a little sad. Alexis remained behind the closed door for a moment longer as she listened to Tessa yell as she walked in. Alexis did not want to get hit by something as soon as she walked in the room, so instead she waited just long enough to deem it safe. Stepping into the room Alexis looked around at all the new comers in there. It was unfair that they had to start from the bottom and now people were just appearing. She couldn't help but chuckle however when she saw a boy glance at her then turn away all red and nervous. She was tempted to go talk to him just because it would be funny, but instead chose to find a spot against the wall to watch Tessa yell at the man who she assumed was the one throwing things. This would be entertaining for sure.
Samuel let out a long sigh before responding, he really did hate talking to idiots. "You said it loud enough the first time, but I get the sense that you are saying it again just to try and intimidate me. Well I may be young and small for my age it will not work. There is nothing about you to fear, so you are loud? What is your point, I have dealt with far worse than you." The blue eyed boy said as he finished scanning the last page on his science text book and then closed it. Placing the book on the floor Samuel slipped out from under where the man was standing over him, obviously trying to intimidate him with his size as well, it was rather entertaining in fact. "If this is about the playing card, it really isn't hard to make a new one for you. All you need is some Polyvinyl Chloride which has been pressed into a thin sheet, you layer that with some thin tree pulp processed and pressed down, you layer the two items before taking some ink and printing the shapes you need for that card. From there all you do is add another layer of polyvinyl chloride and trim the edges to make the shape correct. I could do it for you right now if it wasn't for the fact that I don't have the ingredients or proper tools. You shouldn't get so worked up over it." Samuel explained in a very matter of fact tone. "However things like my throwing star that you so rudely haven't given back, are a little more difficult to make. The folded steel takes a lot a fine craftsmanship to make. Unlike playing cards not any everyday person can make it. It takes a lot of skill and practice. And the steel itself in it's raw form is a rare one mined from deep inside certain mines in one area, but I won't go too much into detail about that. I don't wish to overload your brain so soon. Now if you wouldn't mind returning it, it would be very helpful. I would hate to have to go get a new one to replace it." Samuel said. He did have plenty other throwing stars in his pouch but now he didn't have an even number and that bothered him.
Silvia looked around the room for someone to talk to. Her eyes eventually rested on Leo. She could always go talk to him, though she was feeling slightly shy and embarrassed after running away from dinner with him, Conrad and Tessa. Perhaps it wouldn't be the best idea to talk to him. Perhaps she should talk to Princess Dominique, however looking at her clothing she felt it was not appropriate, even still she had to do something. She couldn't just sit there hiding in a corner could she? It seemed a bit wrong. This was a party after all. Slowly Silvia stepped out among the people looking around for something to do there. Although more uncomfortable she got, more she realized she had never actually been to something like this. She had always lived such a sheltered life before, this was new to her. Silvia played with the end of her sleeve nervously looking around at all the people around her. She felt so confused and insignificant with so many around. Her hands trembled but she wanted so desperately to do something, be someone, but she was too nervous to do anything. So in the middle of everyone she stood looking around, waiting to see if anyone would approach her.
"Thanks." Trevor said to Quinn as he turned to walk away. "Come to the bar when you are ready for that round. I will get it for you." Trevor instructed as he made his way back behind the bar doing his best not to show the rest of the guild the struggle he was having in his mind. Damn he hated having MPD but there was very little he could do about it besides do his best to control his own mind, which wasn't always possible, which was seen through the black out that he had. As Trevor got back to the bar he noticed Gexln behind it trying to help. As he got closer he could smell the alcohol on the man. "Gexln go enjoy the party, I will man the bar. I am not much a party person anyways." He told Gexln. Trevor wanted to hide, he wanted to have a task to keep his mind busy rather than have to deal with the social graces of a party. Just then the man that Gexln was talking to spoke up asking for a non alcoholic cocktail. "Well we don't really have many options for that. How about a virgin Cuba Libre?" He offered using that name to make the drink sound fancy when in reality he would just be getting coke, but the way he said it sounded better. Thea jumped back and looked down when Conrad got mad at her. She nervously played with her dress as he continued to talk, not sure if she wanted to go through with her plan. The man smelt weird and she didn't like it but she had to continue talking, she had come this far, she didn't want to make him more annoyed by disturbing him and then turning around saying it was nothing. "Um... ah.... Well before you said everyone in this guild is equal... are you sure that is true? Are you sure no one is going to just turn around and steal from people like us? Um... someone... Someone said some of those lower than us would rob us blind. Are they right? I don't want to believe it but is it true?" Thea asked, trying not to name names or give indication on who she was talking about. She just wanted to know the truth on the situation. She didn't understand it and was scared to ask Vance in case she let on who said it. Lady Nessa specifically told her not to let Vance know that she had told her that. Thea just hoped that her question wouldn't anger Conrad more, after all she didn't think she was on the best terms with him.
