"Thank you father." Thea responded to Vance's compliment. She kept hold of his hand as he lead them to the next area. She stood there listening to what everyone was saying. She didn't know what she could do to help. If she understood what her new magic did and how to use it, then maybe she could be of some help, but since no one bothered to explain anything to her, she didn't. Thomas rolled his eyes at the situation. He really didn't want to deal with all this right now, not when he had his own problems. And he certainly did not feel pity for these men, unlike some people in the room. "I suppose we can help, but I have no idea how." Thomas stated as walked away from the area they were all standing in order to find a little more room to breath. He let the arcane magic completely fade from his arm. He didn't need a fight right now, not with the way that he was feeling. Tiredness started to sweep over him as he tried to focus on what was happening. This was not good at all. Even so he couldn't focus on that right now. Not when there were five demons fishing for pity and stealing his mojo. "Well I guess it is time to find Turpin's place. Thank you for the information, but we really must be getting going." Trevor said politely to Lovette. He turned to face Dale. "This is your mission so you may lead the way." He told them as he stepped back allowing the man to lead. Trevor tried to be helpful, but he didn't care to overstep his limits as more of a supervisor. It was not his mission to take over.
"Can you take me to those who are sick? I can try to help them while the rest go to see Azura. Even if healing doesn't last long I know plenty of herbal remedies that make them being sick, a little less uncomfortable." Silvia offered. At least if she could do this one small thing to help she could feel a little better about herself. Then when the others returned with the other guardian that could provide a little more permanent solution she could rejoin with the others and help them find Topaz. Apparently the path to get to Azura was going to be long as well, Silvia wasn't sure if she was comfortable leaving the place that was sick completely without help even if it was to get help, that was another reason she offered to stay. Being left alone would be a bit scary for her, but she had to do something to help. Trevor stood back and listened to the story. It only really caught his attention when they mentioned the name Johanna. "So do you know what happened to the child, or someone who might know, besides this Turpin person?" Trevor asked wanting to get as many leads as they could before heading on a wild goose chase. Though he understood Dale's want to help Johanna, to some extent Trevor didn't think all this would help much. He suspected that they would be running in circles for the most part and not getting too far until they get tired and head back to the guild. Even so he agreed to come, so he needed to do what he could to help, even if he was mostly there just to supervise things. "Ow!" Thomas cried out as Gaius hit him. "Perhaps I should use my new magic on you and take you and your lack of shirt down a notch." Thomas threatened Gaius. However instead of following through with the threat, Thomas thought better of it and took a step back as the men began to explain themselves. "So why are we just standing here letting demons into our guild? Am I the only one who thinks this is a terrible idea?" Thomas asked as the ruins on his arm began to glow once more. However as he was talking the big talk, his mind wasn't really on the men there or why they kissed Cal, it was why they didn't try to go for Charlotte. Perhaps he was right after all and he wasn't the only one who thought Charlotte was a little too manly. A small smile crossed his face as he thought about it. Thea only glanced at the bushes that had the same problems as the trees they were at. "What if it was something pushing forward, either magic or mages advancing from the water towards the building. That would make sense why it would be in waves in both places wouldn't it?" The young girl pondered. Despite her age and general not caring about that kind of stuff, she was actually decently intelligent. She had some mind to think through possibilities, but again she didn't care enough to put serious effort into it, instead just suggesting the first thing that came to mind. Thea felt like she needed to put some sort of input in after causing such a mess not long before. She had to be a little helpful at least, then maybe the others would forgive her.
Alexis didn't have much of a response to Remy's comment of it being a family heirloom. She herself didn't know what it was like to have one because that would require her to have a family. Sentiment was not something Alexis was generally very good with, she didn't tend to understand it too well. "You haven't really been in this tower long have you? Every second floor something is trying to kill us, so I can't promise this coat won't ever get damaged here. If you want to withdraw your offer after hearing that, I will not be offended." Alexis stated with a somewhat sad assurance. "My name is Alexis." Alexis then introduced herself. She didn't really know what else to say. She was in a shy state due to not really trusting people to not want something else out of her. For someone to just be nice, she didn't know how to act about it.
Thea didn't do much but follow Vance and keep to herself. She had never thought she would see that day in which she would fear something as simple as playing. The stronger she got, the less she wanted the powers she had. She just wanted to be normal. Thea wasn't talking much as they reached the tree's, mostly just listening. However there was the question if it was magic that changed the colour of the trees or not. The could not think of anything natural that would change the colour of the trees and change their growth. "I don't think this could come naturally, so it is very possible it is magic." Thea stated in a quiet tone, not sure if her input was cared for or needed at all.
Alexis tensed as Operator grabbed her arm and spoke to her. His voice was not harsh, but still made her quite nervous. She only nodded in response to his words before backing off. So he could tell her reluctance could he? He could read that she didn't want to do it. Apparently she was easier to read then she thought she was. However it didn't matter anyways, the two that were fighting seemed to be talking things through in a non-explosive manner, meaning her job there was done and well enough that she didn't have to worry too much. As she stood there watching the discussions, she felt something warm and heavy hit her shoulders. She glanced back as the man began talking. Alexis didn't really know what to say about the entire thing. She pulled the coat tight around her, providing some much needed warmth before looking up at the man to respond. "I really don't have any other choice...." She informed him before going on. "But thank you." She said in a shy voice. It wasn't often people were truly nice to her, especially not males. They all wanted to just use her and then dump her on the streets again.
Aaron trailed behind the mage and Veera, his hand never leaving the handle of the sword on his back. The inside of the building looked a little too well kept for an abandoned place. Aaron glanced over at Solomon as he chuckled then hurried them along. He had no trust for the man at all, he was playing at something. Aaron gave a weary glance to Veera. He trusted her judgement but she had to see that he wasn't sure about this. He was leaving the decisions in her hands, he however would just hang back, hand on his sword, ready to draw if anything happened. Seth made his way back over to the bar, taking a seat where he was sitting before. He didn't take much time to look around, instead just stared down at the counter top, thinking of his argument with Bryce. If he hadn't made that damned promise he would have gotten up and left right then and there, disappeared back into the world where he wouldn't bother anyone and stick around long enough for them to do anything about it. Yet he promised to take Tessa home at the end of the night, a promise he intended to keep. That just left him with one question, what did he do till the end of the night? Seth never was good at this kind of stuff, sitting still, thinking, knowing what to do. He spent his life on the move, he didn't have time to sit around and he moved on instinct not well thought out processes. Perhaps something would happen soon that would spark his interest. When the sword was nice and freshly polished, Terra placed it in a stand on her desk and walked away from it. As much as she wanted to head down to the labs tonight, so much had happened, she was tired, and didn't think disappearing when there was two new people in the house was a good idea. Instead she decided it was time for her to head to bed. She slipped into a nightgown and let her hair out of the pony tail it had been in all day, before heading over to her bed. Terra couldn't help but stare at the picture of Eric that sat on the table at his side of the bed. Minutes went by as she stared at the picture until she finally drifted off too sleep, forgetting to blow out the few candles left in her room still burning.
Tatiana felt a hand on her shoulder then on the back of her head as the voice of a man broke through the silence and pain. After a moment Tatiana willed herself to look up at the man, look him in the eye. Her own eyes were red as tears dripped down her face. She focused on calming her breathing and calming herself entirely. "Why won't the pain stop?" She asked as her voice breaking. She looked at him with desperation. "What am I supposed to do?" She asked before continuing to clarify. "Not just about the pain, about everything. How am I meant to live when I can't go back home. When the only people here for me at the moment is a mage that just followed here, and a witcher who is obligated to stay because there is two strangers in his home. I can't stay here forever, can I? But I don't know how I am meant to live like this." Tatiana stated what was going on in her mind to the witcher in front of her, though she didn't exactly know why she felt the need to. At this point she was so desperate for answers that her jumbled up brain could not give her, that she had to say something. Perhaps one of the men in the room would have helpful advice, or perhaps she would be left on her own. If that was the case then she would just have to hope for the best when she finally got to the point where she could step back out in the world, instead of hiding in the room, worn out and in pain.
Name: Anthea Romero Gender: Female Age: 18 Class: Mage Weapon(s): Generally sticks with a staff but keeps a small dagger on her just in case Armour: Robes Magic/incantations: Storm magic (Wind), and Dark incantations (Destruction) Specialism: Mana Appearance: This girl right here Personality: Anthea is rather shy and not so confident in her powers. She tends to second guess her decisions. Anthea is a submissive kind of person and it isn't hard to gain her loyalty. She is not easily angered and prefers peace over conflict, but that isn't always how her life works. Origination: Whytehold Backstory: As a young girl Anthea showed her potential as a mage. She showed signs of her magic powers yet didn't know what to do with them. Her family was a poor family in the country side, one that didn't last long. Between illness and starvation it wasn't long into the girls life before she had no one left. However not all hope was lost for the young girl. During a day of begging for food the girl displayed a small amount of her powers, this caught a mans attention. He was a wealthier man from Whytehold. The man ended up taking Anthea to his home with him, she was ten at the time. Anthea lived with Grason, the man who picked her up off the street. In exchange for saving her from that life, he wanted two things from her. The first was she was to work like a servant for him, doing what he asked her to. The second part of the deal was not as simple however. Whenever she was done her work for the day either Grason or one of his men would take Anthea out back to train her in her powers, but not only her own powers but incantations too. They would never say the motives behind this training, but it happened without fail, she would train. As life grew busier for Grason, Anthea's work load grew to more. It came to the point she only had time to train, once every couple of weeks. Her progression on her powers are slow from a mix of not having time, and not enough confidence in her powers, however slowly she is learning to be a decent mage. At the very least through all of it, she was able to learn to control the magic, even if it wasn't strong, the most important part was out of the way. Name: Laurentinus Quick Gender: Male Age: 23 Class: Guardian Weapon(s): Broad Sword and Heater Shield Armour: Heavy plate armour. Magic/incantations: N/A Specialism: Health Appearance: Here Personality: Laurentinus is a rather serious person. He takes his job, and the protection of others very seriously. This young man strives for success in his own way, success within the guards, not great wealth. Laurentinus takes great pride in his nation and would do anything for it, no matter the danger to him. Though he cares for others and their well being, Laurent has a tough time showing it, he isn't good at making it clear that he cares about anything or anyone. He tends to be alone and is seen as a bit of a stick in the mud because of his devotion to the rules. Origination: Eredan Backstory: Laurentinus joined the city guards the moment he was old enough to do so. Ever since then he trained and worked hard to work his way up to being the best. The only problem with this is that he hasn't had much of a chance to prove himself. Laurent trains hard to be a good guard, but a lot of times there isn't much need for a skilled guard, just someone with enough threat to make people stop what they are doing. Even still Laurent always keeps a sharp eye out on the city, on or off duty. He stays out of the way of others and lives his life mostly by himself, scared that if he gets close to someone that he will lose them too. Growing up Laurentinus' father was a great guard, one of the best and highly known and respected, yet not even he could stop the death of Laurentinus' mother when she was murdered one day in their home. His father went on a hunt for the man who killed her and never returned, Laurentinus was left with the care of his younger sister. The boy did everything in his power to protect her, but couldn't stop the man who endeared her, made her fall in love with him. He took her away from him, claiming to want to marry her and ended up doing horrible tests, and practices with dark incantations on her. He then murdered her, dumping the dead body at Laurentinus' door. Laurentinus was left with nothing except a job within the guards and a burning desire to stop all evil that was in the world.
Karina sighed when she looked at Kel as he commented about her being so far away. "I prefer not being around people, and they don't need me at the moment. What is wrong with me staying away?" Karina asked Kel. She didn't understand why people made such a big deal about her going off by herself. She did that a lot and only about half the time it mattered. Why couldn't they just keep away from her already? Thankfully some people, like Steel, didn't pay her any mind. "Now if you excuse me I am going to go somewhere else that people will leave me alone." Karina said in a rather rude tone before spinning on her heal and walking away from Kel, finding another dark corner by some sort of equipment the mad doctor had, and leaning in the corner there so she could hide once again until she was either needed or it was time for them to get the hell out of that place.
Thea was feeling a bit faint and dizzy but she did her best to calm her breath and stay standing in front of her father. She was still shaky and having trouble breathing properly as she came out of a kind of panic attack. Her vision was spotty but returning to her as she looked up at Vance, reluctantly. "I-I don't know. I was just playing. I don't know how it happened. I will try but it is hard. Daddy told me that the power I had, I shouldn't have until I am much, much older. I don't know what to do about it. Please don't be too mad. I promise I will try, but I can't guarantee that it will work." Thea responded. It sounded like while Vance was comforting her they had finished examining the gate. Instead of taking lead once again, Thea hung behind, eyes to the ground. She was ashamed and embarrassed about what had just happened. She felt hopeless and like she was the only one to have so much troubles with her powers. She used the defense that she had more magic than she should for her age and her body struggled to contain it, which was true, but she didn't want to hide behind that excuse forever. She wanted to be confident in her magic so she didn't have to fear it forever, but that didn't seem to be happening. Thea's eyes drifted from Shani to Vance and then back to the ground. The young girl had noticed the awkwardness between the two for the last bit, and she wondered if it was her fault or not. If Vance wasn't sure about her getting close with Shani or something. After all Thea had noticed them staying away from each other and not talking right after the night of the ceremony in which she left the guild hall to talk to Shani. Though Thea couldn't see why that would be a problem. Vance had said he would find her a mother as well and she trusted he would. He had seemed happy with Shani before, so what changed now? Perhaps she would have to ask later, but now was not the time. So instead Thea just thought of the possibilities and what she might say as she hid at the back of the group waiting for someone else to move forward.
Standing in fright Thea heard a voice in her head, something that made her even more nervous. She didn't understand what was going on already and now there was more weird things happening. However this voice was gentle and comforting. It told her that it was her new magic that was doing this. Thea had honestly forgotten that she had got any new magic. She was nervous with the ones she had and was focused on the fire magic, completely forgetting she had a third kind as well. The problem with her forgetting that she had that third magic was, she didn't have any clue how it worked or how to control it. Thea then watched as Vance tried to come to her rescue. She held her breath with every jump he made. Thea cried out "Father! No!' as Vance nearly fell in. However this endevour only ended in both of them being stranded and Vance never making it over to her. Instead he spoke to her, telling her to calm down and to stop it. "I don't know how!" The shouted back at him in a shaky voice as she tried to slow her breath, calm it the best she could. However the magic triggered when she was calm and this was were the problem lied. Thea nervously looked around for anywhere to go, any way to get to Vance, only to find herself stranded. "I'm sorry. I am so sorry." Thea told Vance as she kept her focus on him in order to not be too focused on the lava and the additional fear it brought. Hope was not all lost however when Zephyros sprouted angel like wings and flew over to save her. In his arms she felt safe, but at the same time there was a conflict. She hadn't really liked Zephyros and thought that he was mean, but now he saved her. What was she supposed to think of him now? Thea didn't have time to ponder this thought as Shani hugged her asking if she was alright. "I-I'm fine. I am not hurt. I just don't know what to do, I am sorry. I am so so sorry." Thea said as she hugged Shani back and rested her tear stained face in the woman's shoulder. That was when she heard Vance calling for her again. He was pretty much begging her for help and she didn't know what to do. She stopped hugging Shani and turned back to Vance. "I don't want it to be a game! I don't know what to do! Stop yelling at me! You think this is what I wanted? How do I make it stop?! I am sorry! I don't know what to do!" The young girl was completely in tears now, however her other magics remained in check. The young girl was taking short shallow breaths as she cried, she was having troubles focusing on anything anymore, however that worked to their advantage. The more upset, and confused she got. The more she had to focus on getting enough breath into her lungs, the less she focused on the ground around her. The less she saw the lava. The magic began to flicker and fade, but Thea too had to lower herself to a sitting position. She was hyperventilating and due to this she was bringing herself closer and closer to blacking out, her vision was already spotty. But thanks to that the magic had stopped, making it safe once again for everyone else.
The first thing that Silvia heard when they were being told about why they were brought there was that something was dying. Those words struck a cord within Silvia and she froze up for a moment. Did she really get thrown on another mission where someone might die? What if she couldn't help? What if she couldn't do anything to stop them from dying? This was horrible. She wanted to help, she really did, but she began doubting herself and if she could. However she had just gotten new powers, and one that was similar to Caliborns powers, and he was able to help lots of people. Perhaps with her new powers so could she. Listening to everything that had been said Silvia actually spoke up. "What do Guardians actually do? Is it possible a few of us could do what they do while you go find the one that went missing? I mean so we can stop the meadow from dying?" Silvia asked shyly. She doubted it would work that way, but she also figured that there was no harm in asking about it. If she was able to help then she would. If not, then she would just have to live with that too. "No thank you. We are fine." Trevor politely declined the offer of pie from the very excited and out there woman who greeted them. Trevor has a few questions for the woman and about the mission, however he was more there to supervise, so he left the questioning to the newer members, and the leading to Dale. Trevor would simply stay at the back and see what was to come. Depending on what was said and done, he would consider stepping in, but he wouldn't do it too hastily, the others had to learn somehow, and in Trevor's mind that included Dale. Thomas nodded at Ra as they went to look at the job board. Thomas was more than a little thankful that no one bothered to stop and ask him about how he knew so much, or anything about the key for that matter, he would rather not explain. They didn't get far towards the board when the doors of the guild hall slammed shut, it went dark, something happened involving Cal yelling and bursting into flames, and then five boys were seen standing there. "Excuse me Ra. I have something to deal with." Thomas said as he walked over to the men. "Who do you think you are coming in here and kissing the girls. I am the local flirt here and you can't take that away from me!" Thomas said before Ra approached asking his own questions. "Excuse me Ra, but they are mine to pick a bone with." Thomas said to Ra before getting all up in Sam's face. "I suggest you stay away from the girls here if you don't want me to mess up your face." He threatened as runes up his arm began to glow, showing his arcane power.
Thea didn't really care about the gate at all if she was to be honest. She looked at it for a moment, heard what the people had to say, but didn't know what to do about it. Instead of taking part in the conversations Thea began to play in the grass. She was walking through patches of green grass, careful not to step on the brown patches of grass because she was pretending that they were lava. She started a fair ways away from Vance and the others, making it toward where they were standing, imagining that it was a concrete safe spot. Thea was having fun, giggling as she was playing, jumping around when something shifted. She had not made it far towards the group when this happened either. The entire area she was standing between her and the others suddenly turned to dirt with pits of lava everywhere. Thea didn't know what was happening. She didn't even realize it was her own magic getting out of control. The girl let out a scream as she began to shake, her fun game now deadly. Tears streamed down the girls face as she didn't know what to do. "What happened? Someone please help me." The young girl begged. "Hold on to the key if you like but it will do nothing for you. I promise." Thomas replied to Ra. He then thought about Veilen and what he said. "Well you aren't too far off." He mumbled in response to how the key could be broken. Thomas began to grow impatient of these testing magic games, it was getting quite annoying and he needed to get away from it, and distract himself from what he had just seen. "Can we please just get ready for the mission already. I am sure there will be things to fight and test your magics on, on the mission." Thomas said sounding quite annoyed with everyone at the moment.
Thea had gotten lost on what all the adults were talking about. She didn't quite understand everything that happened there, nor did she really care. Instead Thea found herself wandering around the remnants of the fortress up until she heard her name called. "Hmmm... lets see." Thea began thinking about where they should go next. "Captain Thea says that we should head That way!" Thea said as she headed to the right and down. The young girl ran and skipped through the grass until she came to another structure a bit away from the last one. Thea decided to stop, not for her own interest but because of how much thought that the others put in the last part, Thea thought they might be interested in it. (The one Thea chose is the red circle at the very bottom middle.)
Name: Rose Suryanarayanan Title: The Black Rose Faction: Order of the Hammer Age: 22 Gender: Female Description: Here Personality: Rose has a very cold attitude. She doesn't seem to care much for most people. To her power is everything and friends and family don't matter. She is drawn to blood and battle and finds enjoyment in mostly that. The only other enjoyment she gets is in the form of great praise from the Demi gods. Weapons: The duel blades in her picture Armour: She generally wears a light set of leathers, providing minimal protection but instead allowing easy movement to allow her to focus on more assassin side of killing. Abilities (passive and active): Passive: -Blood Rage (part 1) Enters state in one of two ways. In the midst of killing numerous people, or when she receives a direct order from Jayce to kill. When she enters Blood rage it takes over her mind. All she can think or focus on is her blades and killing. She looses all sense of right or wrong and occasionally sense of friend or enemy. It takes a bit of time to bring her out of this state. Active: -Blood Rage (part 2) When in blood rage, which is activated through what is listed above, Rose can raise her physical attack strength as well as her endurance -Chameleon Rose can activate this skill to blend in to her surroundings like a chameleon would. -Black Rose A special sword skill combo created by Rose in which she utilizes her duel swords to create a fast 12 hit deadly combo on unsuspecting enemies. Strengths: She is stealthy and strong. She is very task oriented and does not question authority. Weaknesses: Rose doesn't tend to think for herself and acts only on what she is told. She is also a bit irrational at times and doesn't quite fully think things through before she does them. Doesn't think of the consequences. History: Rose was born to a happy family, she had both parents around still and a twin brother that she loved to play with. When she was eight however, things took a turn for the worst in her family. You see her parents had different beliefs on which side was correct, but they believed they could put their differences aside for the sake of love. This however couldn't last forever, when push came to shove and Rose's mom wanted to return to the Order of the Hammer, something her father had been a part of many years before, it cause conflict. It wasn't long after the fighting started that Rose's parents split ways, her mother taking her with her, and her father gaining custody of her brother. From age eight onward Rose was raised inside the Order of the Hammer, her mother taking a servant kind of role. Rose's mother was always a fairly gentle soul so the way she chose to be of service to the Order was basically do whatever they asked of her within in. She wouldn't kill or hurt people but she would serve in any way she could, never refusing to do anything no matter how bad it was. Rose on the other had grew up with a sword in each hand, learning to be a killer. She thought her mother weak for her role, just a damn slave to the Order, and that she was stronger than that. However Rose grew up to be a slave in her own aspects. She was a slave to blood and war, but more than that she was a slave to power. Rose cut and slaughtered her way up the ranks and the closer she got to the top the more desperate she became to prove herself. No longer did she only rely on her ability with a sword to impress the higher ups, especially Jayce. She began to use any means necessary. She became as much of a servant to them as her mother, just a much more deadly one. She would do whatever those above her asked even if it was company for the night. If it got her in their good books she would do it. However when it came to those below her, she could care less. She would kill them if she had to or leave them to die, they meant nothing to her at all. Other: Rose is related and remembers her brother Aster, but does not hold him in high regards in the slightest. Name: Aster Suryanarayanan Title: His royal pain in the arse Faction : The Shards of Hope Age: 22 Gender: Male Description: Here Personality: Aster is full of himself. He believes he is the best at everything and thinks that he should have more respect then he generally gets. If Aster had it his way he would be the leader of the Shards of Hope, but settles for whatever power he can get his hands on. Weapons: Aster generally uses a Lance but will settle with a long sword and a shield, depending on what the situation calls for. Armour: Aster wears a set of heavy plate armour which he almost never takes off Abilities (passive and active): Passive: - Defense Boost: In battle his defense is higher then most -Charisma Boost: Aster due to his wealth and standing can easily charm and lead common folk to do what he asks. Active: - Shield: Can use magic to create a temporary shield in front of him - Fire: Can create a small ball of fire in his hand and throw it - Impact: By jumping in the air and slamming his lance into the earth he can create a small shock wave around him to stubble foes - Charge When mounted Aster can commence a charge attack in which he charges at high speeds on a horse and sticks his lance out in order to take out other mounted enemies or larger number of enemies quickly. Strengths: Aster has good leadership skills. He is a powerful warrior. He was also trained in political and business knowledge thanks to his father. Weaknesses: He is arrogant. He hates to lose and won't give up on things even if it was time for him to back off. History: Being Rose's brother, Aster shared the same beginnings right up until their parents split. While Rose and their mother went straight to The Order of the Hammer, Aster and his father remained a neutral party a while longer. Instead of siding with anyone side, his father decided to make it a business. Long before the split his father was already a pretty well known business person, and now with him free to go where he pleased, he took his son and began to travel the continent, selling, trading and making business deals, quickly growing his wealth. On their travels Aster began to pick up various skills. He was taught how to fight with a sword in one town, a lance in another. In various places he was taught small shards of magic. He took whatever he learned and put it to good use on the road. He traveled like this till he was eighteen, then his father grew so rich that they settled down into a large estate where he spent a year learning to act like the noble he had now become, and perhaps he took that a little too far. By the age of twenty his father shipped him off to help the Shards of Hope, in whatever way he could, while of course providing him with a sizable allowance for the service he was doing. Other: He is older than Rose by eight minutes and takes great pride in that.
Thea stepped around the building looking at everything that had happened and listening to what the others were discussing. She looked perplexed as she examined the circular shaped building part and listened to what Shani said about it not having a roof. "Do you think it hasn't been finished being built? Or what had been built has been wrecked by something, a storm or something?" Thea questioned. It seemed like it was half way to being a building but not finished. On top of that to the young girl it looked like it was starting to fall apart but not from old age. "It is a shame it looks like it would have been such a nice place too." Thea said with a small bit of pout in her voice. She reached up and touched the part of the building that could have been a tower of some kind. "How wealthy do you think the people making this were?" Thea wondered. Clara's words of kindness didn't help much with the guilt that Silvia faced from the loss of the nutcracker. However Lucia's pep talk helped a little with Silvia stepping forward to be ready to go. She couldn't help the nutcracker but there was other people in need. She couldn't just abandon them either because she was upset. Even if she couldn't do much to help chances are they wouldn't be any better off from her not going. So perhaps going was for the best. Silvia nodded at Lucia. "I am ready to go help them as soon as everyone else it."
Thea seemed to have made things a bit better it seemed, so she has happy for that. Now it was time for them to go out on their mission. The young girl was surprised and slightly uncomfortable with Shani's change in personality when they got on the ship. It was almost slightly frightening for Thea, before she was so nice and now the way she shouted orders, well it sent shivers up Thea's spine. She was not used to a boat being run like that, but mostly because she had always been on ships run by wealthy merchants and stuff. Everyone knew there place and there was no need for loud commands. When they reached their location Thea as well didn't think it seemed like much of an island, however she could care less. It was a new area to explore and she wanted to explore it. Shani did say it was an adventure so it was time to explore. "Come on Red! Lets go see what there is here." Thea shouted back at the new friend she felt she had made before taking off in a full sprint. She ran and glanced around till she found a thing not too far away from the dock to look at. map
So the diversion didn't seem to stop Ra from summoning his first spirit. He could feel Sagittarius' eyes on him, but Thomas refused to look up or meet the gaze. It seemed that even Ra noticed the look, however that was quickly passed off and the celestial spirit was dismissed. Next Calxiyn summoned another one of hers, and like that last it didn't glance his way, thank goodness. It seemed to be a thing that if the person who is summoning is a female, most celestial spirits don't pay much attention to anything but her, which was fine by Thomas. He didn't care what the spirits did, as long as it had nothing to do with him. Thomas tensed as he heard Ra try to summon his next spirit. How did he even have the key? Thomas had thought that key was long gone, disappeared from this world or even broken. It shouldn't be in the mans hand. The key however seemed to not be reacting and Thomas knew exactly why, it was a painful reminder for him. He didn't want to think what was to come and why Ra had that key. "Ra I hate to tell you but I have seen that key before. It is just a sham, it is useless. I am pretty sure it is broken. You got scammed on your key selection so you shouldn't worry too much about it. It is garbage." He explained trying to keep his voice as neutral and uncaring as he possibly could. What he said was true to some extent but the truth behind the key was something only a select few knew and none of which were in the guild besides him. If Ra didn't get rid of the key himself in exchange for a better was, Thomas was certain it would break soon enough.
Thea jumped at Conrad's outburst. His language was not something she wanted to be hearing and his attitude downright scared her. However despite that all she could tell the man was upset and she felt like she needed to do something to help. Thea hesitated before she approached Conrad. Thea wrapped her arms around the noble man and gave him a big hug. "I know things are hard now, but it will get better, I promise." Thea didn't really understand what was so hard for Conrad but the young girl had to try something to comfort him. She thought long and hard about what else she could do to help. Finally she came to an answer and as she hugged the man she sang a song that her mother used to sing to her when she was upset. When she finished singing she looked up at Conrad. "I promise to do what I can to help. Just tell me what I can do." However as she finished singing a tear also came to the young girls eye. She hadn't heard or sung that song since her mother died, so it was hard on her, but still she forced a smile through it because she was trying to comfort Conrad and she couldn't do that if she herself was upset.
"I have been assigned to join you on your mission." Trevor said as he walked up to Dale. He hated the idea, given how angry George was if he lost control... well that could be a huge problem. On top of that most of the members didn't know him. Didn't know what he was, and he didn't want them to find out. However this didn't mean he would abandon his guild. He would do what he was asked and do his best to keep things under control. Listening to Dales explanation Trevor thought to add in a fair warning. "Even if we don't anticipate danger, be prepared just in case, you never know what may happen." He added. The mission his team was killed on, it wasn't supposed to be dangerous at all. There wasn't supposed to be fighting and still something changed and he was the only one to make it out alive. He would not let that happen this time. No one would die. But it was best they were warned. Silvia looked around as the groups filled up. There wasn't many options left for her to head to and the one that was left... Silvia was filled with the feeling of guilt as she made her way over to Clara. "I am here to help." She said shyly and looking away. "Sorry once again I wan't able to save him." Silvia said as she heard mention of the Prince. That was all Silvia wanted, was to be able to save people and here she stood in front of someone she failed, offering to help again. If she could she would have ran off to another mission, but that was not an option. Silvia couldn't help but fiddle with her sleeves as she stood awkwardly at the edge of the group. scared that they didn't want her because she wasn't of enough use. Thomas was standing there awkwardly waiting for team King to be ready to go on a mission, when Thomas heard Cal summon a Celestial Spirit. He glanced over long enough to see which one it was before turning away awkwardly. He would not look at the spirits. He could not look at them. Instead he turned his face away from them, hoping they wouldn't notice him there. At this point he almost wished to disappear, but there he stood right by them in an awkward position. "Ra, which mission are we heading out on?" Thomas asked trying to change the subject before Ra had a chance to open a gate. "N-no don't came near me. He will use you to punish me. You are in danger being close to me." Thea sobbed as Vance gave her a hug. She was terrified at this point and didn't want anyone close to her. She wanted them to stay away so if Ezekiel did try to hurt her, he would only hurt her. However Thea wasn't up for trying to struggle out of her fathers arms. So instead she just sat there trembling and sobbing in his arms, taking what comfort from it that she could. A while later it was time for missions. Thea happily went straight over to Shani, as she had promised to go with her on the mission. However Zephyros was also there, Thea was not too keen on that idea. Around her was also Conrad who had made her quite nervous of him while drunk, and Damian, another person she was scared of. It looked like the only comfort she got in this mission was her father and Shani. Normally Thea would be more than a little excited to be going on a boat, however right now she was still too shaken from Ezekiel's appearance to be excited. Once they had set sail and she was away from him, perhaps she would feel better, but right now she couldn't even focus as fear swirled through her mind.
