Seth rested against the bar, keeping his left hand that was cut, under the bar and out of sight. He glanced at Tessa with a reassuring glance before speaking up. "I was looking for swordfish if you have any fresh." Seth replied to him before sighing. "Not only behind us, but for the future." He replied to Sigmund. He hoped that the old witcher was right and this guy would give them a hand. At least now they were outside Oxenfurd, but instead in the place it had all began. He had to get Tessa out of this city too, but for now it was their safest option to lay low and get help.

With Veceslav's help they were able to take out the group of dopplers, saving the family behind him for the time being. Veceslav told Aaron they had to stick together and find the others, but Aaron remembered someone else he had to find. Aaron let his fingers drift over some of the things that Veceslav gave him to help with the battle. Aaron himself never took much time to work on alchemy except the things that Veceslav forced him to learn over the years. However all this would be helpful.

"I am sorry, I can't find them right now. The man who gave us refuge the other day, he is a simple farmer and wouldn't be able to defend himself too well. I am going to find him and then I will come back to find you! I promise. Go find the others, I will be okay!" Aaron yelled back at Veceslav over the noise of battle as he took off running in the other direction.

Aaron didn't stop until he reached
Raymond's house, despite the screams and plea's of innocent people getting hurt around him. He couldn't save them all and if he tried then he couldn't save Raymond either. It was a sad truth, but a truth none the less. He would get Raymond and bring him to the other witchers. It would be safer with more of them to protect the man, and he was sure Veera would agree that they owed the man at least this much.

    Reaching
Raymond's house Aaron pounded on the door hard and fast. "Raymond! Are you in there? It is me Aaron. Come out I am going to take you somewhere safer. This city is in danger. You helped us before the least I can do is offer protection. However we must hurry." Aaron yelled through the door before turning around and beheading a doppler who tried to sneak up behind him. Aaron applied the oil to his sword while he waited for the man. He would now have to watch for both of them, so it was best he was prepared.

Roxanne hardly felt the pain really as the rune was being made to heal the wounds. Her mind was too far off in it's own place, it didn't register the pain. Roxanne let Brianne help her to her feet and support her as they left the motel. Brianne would be able to feel Roxanne tremble a little, not being able to stop trembling completely, though she tried. There was no words to be said from Roxanne, and she paid only slight attention to what Brianne was say. That being said Roxanne was already well aware of what the mortal cup was and what it being stolen meant.

When they got out into the open and onto the street she realized that
Brianne was talking to her, she was almost too zoned out to notice. "Yeah... I can stand." She said, her voice slow, like she had to really think about what she was going to say. Roxanne put her weight on her own two feet and steadied herself. She kept her eyes down as she prepared to walk and follow. She was trying to force her mind out of the dark corner it was hiding in at this point. If she could manage that then she could at least be of some use, even if she knew that most people found that side annoying, but at least she had the drive to do something. Perhaps a fight, that is what she needed to help. Perhaps when she got back to the institute she should do some training and pretend to kill Slavko, working on new ways to do that. She just hoped that would help in the end. If not, it would take a lot more time and ice cream, and they didn't really have time for that.

It seemed finding Tatiana that night was getting hopeless and things were not going to go so well come morning. Aaron had to stay pretty close to Veceslav for most of the night. Due to the fight he had with him, and the attempt of Seth's life, Aaron was not particularly allowed to go off on his own at this time. Aaron understood why, though he didn't like it much at all.

Aaron couldn't help but worry about everything that was going on. Between the fact he didn't know what happened to Tatiana and the upcoming war. He was also supposed to meet up with
Veera and did not. All of this was just a huge mess, a bigger mess than he ever expected it to be. However with nothing to be done about it, Aaron meditated till dawn, regain some strength and focus to be ready for the battle to come.

The sound of yelling in the street brought him out of his meditative state.
"What the hell, the battle wasn't supposed to be till noon!" Aaron said getting to his feet rather quickly and drawing his silver sword. Not only were these dopplers going to battle the witchers like agreed but stepping into the streets he saw them pillaging homes and murdering families. "Not good, not good at all!" Aaron said as she ran into a crowd of innocent people, stepping in front of them between them and the dopplers attacking.

"What have these people ever done to you! These are families you are destroying. If you have problems with us witchers that is one thing, fight me, just leave them alone!" Aaron yelled at the group of dopplers. When they didn't not back down, Aaron stepped into action, yelling at the family behind him to run as he jumped in, swinging his silver sword around well on a murder spree of the small group that was before him.

"So you did want something after all." Tatiana replied as she finished wiping off her wound. "I would have pegged you as a little young, but I can't judge, I started when I was fifteen." Tatiana then commented as she brushed her hair out with her fingers, slung it over her shoulder and laid on the bed on her side, still completely naked. "Well come on then, don't be shy. I am ready when you are, you just have to relax, let loose." She told him as she eyed the boy.

However it was then that she heard the chaos outside. Tatiana bit her lower lip not sure what to do about it. It sounded like a dangerous situation so she didn't know if she should leave or not. Perhaps now was not the best time to offer her services after all, but what were they to do. Tatiana looked up at
Kruez for his reaction to the situation, his thoughts on what was going on. What were they to do now. She just got out of one horrible situation and now it sounded like a genocide spree outside. Tatiana was too afraid to even look.

Of course it was reasonable to ask why she was saying things, but Terra still didn't want to admit to it. In the end however she had little choice. This man saved her, it was not worth lying. "Well it should be obvious my injuries aren't from some simple fall or self harming accident. Someone tried to kill me and I was forced to flee. If I stay around too long then they might find me and hurt the people here like they probably did my children...." Terra said as she trailed off at the end. "I have to keep moving until I find a new life and a new identity to use to hide. I am sorry for dragging you into all this. I wish I had another choice. I wish I could have saved all them, but I should just fight to keep going forward I suppose."

Annabelle looked at the food laid out with wide eyes. It was true she had not had such good food, but on top of that she had not seen such good food before. Her family was not particularly wealthy. They were not poor but they would not eat that much food at breakfast, and certainly never bacon. A couple of eggs maybe with a small amount of potato along side.

The young girl took a seat at the table as she smelled the food. It smelled so good. Annabelle looked up at
Archon almost for permission to eat before she began to eat. "It is so good, and there is so much. Thank you." She said in a slightly shy voice before she took a small bite of her food. She ate relatively slowly and didn't eat too much of her food. She was not used to having that much food to eat, so she couldn't force herself to eat even a normal healthy portion of it. Though the child went on to eat her breakfast in ignorant bliss of the situation in a city not so far away. Even if she had learned about it, it was not like there was much that she could do about it. After all she was seven. She just had to be glad Bramwell found her and took her out when he did.

She was a thief? Oh balls, he was falling in love with a thief wasn't he? And there was nothing he could do about it. How ironic, someone whose only purpose in life was to protect people from those who break the law, and he was falling for one who broke the law herself. What in the world was he doing. However as she batted her eyelashes at him he couldn't think why he wouldn't fall for her, damn she was beautiful and fun.

Her words cut through his thoughts as she asked how it was quicker than walking.
"I'll show you how. Hold on tight. If you want to grab the mane it won't hurt the horse, just keep your hands close to it's neck. Oh and whatever you do hold your legs firm, if you start kicking them around it might spook the horse into going faster than I intend." He instructed to her. He brought his arms tight to her side, holding her the best he could while still keeping control of the horse. "Get ready for the second best ride of your life." He said before spurring the horse forward into a gallop.

"The bigger it is, the more fun you have.... when riding I mean." Laurentinus responded as he offered Kara a hand. "On three push yourself off the ground, I will pull you up in front of me." Laurentinus instructed taking Kara's hand. "One... Two... Three!" He said as he hoisted her onto the horse in front of him.

    With
Kara in place he gave her a small smile, wrapping his hand around her to grab the reins. "Lets go." He told her as he kicked the horse forward to a slow walk. He wouldn't go to fast when Kara seemed unfamiliar with horses. "Towards the caverns then." He said once they were out of ear shot of the stable boy. "And I got to say I love how so many people are believing that I am a Duke. Good job Kara, sometimes I love you." As those words came out of his mouth he blushed a bit. Of course he didn't mean that he loved her in that way, but he didn't know if she would take it that way, given the way they had been talking. He had never talked to any girl the way he had been talking to Kara. And he was having more fun than he had since his sister was alive. What was it with this girl? He didn't understand her or really what he was feeling, but he liked it none the less.

Laurentinus chuckled at the story of the old man before taking Kara's hand. "Well I promise you I will not be getting drunk or deserving that kick myself. Instead of odd complements. I will earn it." He said with a coy smile. He lead Kara to the stables like she was a princess, delicate and precious. He didn't want her getting hurt on the uneven road down to the stables. He knew that she didn't need it, but he still wanted to.

When they reached the stables, Laurentinus approached the stable boy.
"Ah my good man. I would like to take my companion for a ride before it is time for our important meeting. You see I am Duke Rention and I am here meeting over very important dealings, however even people like me need to take a break on occasion. Lord Avral said he would take care of any costs. Now then I hope you don't mind me taking this one." Laurentinus said as he approached a tall black stallion. He mounted and then offered Kara a hand up to mount in front of him. "My lady."

Thea didn't want anything to do with Vance, yet when he scooped her up, she didn't really have anything to do about it. She couldn't care who was holding her at this point, she couldn't even stop herself from shaking. Thea kept her eyes closed tight and she tried to remember to breath through her panicking and tears. "I don't know! I don't know!" She said in response to everything. Truth be told through the panic she kind of lost track of who was saying what, and what was happening. She knew that Vance was holding her and trying to tell her to accept him, and Conrad was trying to give her some sort of option on the matter, however she was too panicked to care. After all the yelling Vance did she couldn't even think of anything he said before, it had just become a loud jumbled mess to her. "What do I do?" She asked quietly in the end. The familiar wave of exhaustion brushing over her like after most outburst. They tended to take a lot of her magic at once with the amount of force behind them. The outbursts were becoming more uncommon but they had gained power instead. Thea knew that she had to watch herself. She knew she had to be careful to try not to get too afraid, but it was hard sometimes. Being sad she could handle but when fear is added into it, that was what became difficult.

"So information is your goal. I guess in a sense we have similar goals with these creatures Ana. If you would like. I will assist you in whatever ways possible." Carson offered the girl. She then mention something about a means of transport. He could always offer a ride to her, but she would need armour to travel through the lanes between. He didn't particularly know how to obtain a set of armour either, for him it kind of just came with the whole keyblade set he had inherited.

Summoning his keyblade Carson showed it to
Ana. "Do you know what this is? It is more than just my weapon, it also allows me to travel between worlds through the lanes between. I would offer to give you a ride, given we share a common goal, however the only issue is traveling through the lanes without keyblade armour is a dangerous thing. So we have to find a way to protect you before I can do much." Carson explained to the girl. He wasn't quite sure why he told her that when he had no solution, but perhaps they could figure something out.

Roxanne took only slight comfort in Brianne's touch. However even that was better than most nights. Time after time instead of being able to sleep she would have similar breakdowns and panic attacks, however most times she was alone. People tended to stay away from her when they could, and why wouldn't they, she was crazy. However during a breakdown being alone only made things all the more hard. Roxanne strained to listen to Brianne's voice, even when she wasn't talking to her, just something to hold onto that wasn't in her mind taunting her.

Brianne had asked her to reveal her wounds, yet still Roxanne was struggling to force herself to uncurl so they would be open to see and get healed. Slowly Roxanne brought her hands down from her head, however one then gripped onto Brianne as she tried to grip onto what was reality and what was her mind playing tricks. So much was going on in her mind she started to lose track of everything. Even still she knew that she had to calm down, the Mortal cup was missing, she didn't have time for a break down. It took a moment, but she was finally on her back so the wound to her side and stomach were visible to Nicholas and Brianne. Roxanne remained hanging onto Brianne but she seemed to be a little calmer, she wasn't trembling like she was before. Roxanne was doing everything in her power to suppress the mental breakdown the best she could as to not drag down the others more. There were more important things to attend to.

While everyone was debating which way to go, Anthea continued to pace around. Eventually she took the stone that was in her hand and placed it just to the left side of the path in a bit of a clearer area where it would stick out. With that in place she walked back to the pile of rocks and grabbed another one and pocketed it. She glanced back at the way they came and then took in details of both paths the best she could before rejoining the group, keeping her head low, and staying small and silent like she was always taught to. When she went to place the rock was the most independent thinking she could get herself to do for now. She was slowly working on it but it was still not going the best.

It seemed like some sort of unseen force really didn't want them to leave the village. That didn't mean Laurentinus wouldn't challenge it anyways. "Our friends could be in danger Kara, I don't care if it runes your fun, I am sorry." Laurentinus said to the girl as she pout. He was not about to wait around for Shyra to talk to the guard before going out to find Tessa and Conrad. Despite the argument on the carriage, neither were bad people.

"You know I would like to save some of this money, so may as well not spend it yet. I do however really enjoy horses. What do you say we take a stroll down to the stables and take a look at some Lady Secretary. I mean before that important meeting that is." Laurentinus mused as he gave Kara a mischievous smile. "Then perhaps later with the money I saved I can treat you to dinner? It is your money after all." Laurentinus said not even realizing it. What in all heavens was he doing? Did he really just ask someone on a date? That was not like him, and yet with Kara he felt a fun playful side that had been long forgotten. But Goodness, could he really be doing this now. He had to just calm it. He was just excited to have a friend is all. Nothing more. Or that is what he kept trying to tell himself, but if he was to be honest he didn't know how he really felt.

Aaron spun around as Veceslav continued yelling at him. By the end he stared at the old witcher with daggers for eyes. "You really think I wanted this damn genocide. You think I wanted this war that is to start tomorrow? I wanted to find that b*stard is all. If you want to blame someone for the war blame the damn mage that offered us a place to lay low and instead brought us to the dopplers doorsteps where we were attacked before we knew what happened. Blame whoever the hell Veera was talking to last night only to come in with news of an organized battle. If you are looking for someone to blame, there are plenty to but not me. Now if you excuse me I have to strangle Derrick for bringing my sister here then losing her, and then see if I can pick up a track of where she went because by this point no matter what happened to her she sure as hell won't be anywhere near now. Or are you going to stop me from doing that again by yelling at me more about something that would have happened regardless if I was here or not!" When Aaron finished yelling back he unclenched his fist to see blood drip from his palm.

Looking down he realized he had cut his hand with his own fingernails with how hard he had been clenching his fists. He then looked up at
Vecelsav once more, his anger starting to die down. He remembered the hug that Vec gave him when he had found him. He remembered all their training and everything they did together. He remembered the good, the bad, and the ugly. He remembered Veceslav comforting him when he missed Tatiana. In many ways Veceslav was more of a father to him than his own. Aaron's eyes softened as he stared at the man. "I'm.... sorry..." He finally said knowing the words were no where near enough, but there was not much else for him to say.

Tatiana watched in shock and horror as Kruez took out the men, but did not kill them. The blood made her stomach do flips as she forced herself to look away. Every shot from the gun made Tatiana jump, as she had never heard anything like that before. But in the end the mage had saved her. He even offered her a cloak to cover up with in the end. "I know a bit about defending... I just, I don't know. Everything has been so hard to follow lately I wasn't paying attention." She knew it wasn't a good excuse, but it was the only one she had.

When they reached the inn Tatiana removed the cloak and laid it on the bed as she figured she should tend to her wounds. She was pretty damn sure that the cut would get infected if she didn't, given the man had stuck his dirty fingers in it. Using a bucket of water and a cloth, she got to work rather quickly. The water in the bucket quickly turned red as she worked.
"So, why follow us all the way here? Why save me? Are you hoping for something? All you have to do is ask." Tatiana said without turning to face Kruez. She was standing naked in the room currently, but she didn't mind. Plenty of strange men had seen her body, she had no shame for it anymore.

"A week... I can't stay in one place that long, even a week is pushing it. Is there any way to make it heal faster?" Terra asked. She did not want to lead anyone here and get the nice people hurt. She could always try to defend them with her magic but even then it could risk her getting hurt more and given no option to leave and that wouldn't be helpful wither. She was kind of stuck and unsure of what to do.

"If you mean the good looks, then yes, yes it does." Aster responded to Carissa's comment about something running in the family. He remained pretty much silent until they landed and disembarked to face the Inheritor. When it was all said and done there was not much for him to say at this point. "Well I am off to go take a bath and work on this amazing complexion. Call me when you are ready to torment my sister dearest. That should be fun to see." Aster said as he waved behind him and began to walk away.

Rose simply glared up at the man who entered the room asking who she was. If he didn't know who she was, then he didn't deserve to know. Obviously news of her being here hadn't spread around well yet, that worked to her advantage. However for now she still didn't have full mobility so there wasn't much that she could do yet.

It wasn't long before she heard talk about them landing, so they must be at base. Rose took a mental note to take a good look around with that as the case. Rose removed her eyes from the
man who stood before her, the one that asked who she was and started gazing around as she was picked up at Carissa's command. Struggling now would be foolish, too many people around, even with her superior skills it wouldn't be a good idea. The less she struggled, the less attention would be brought to her, and the better look around she could have. With a good look around she would be able to start plotting a way out. Rose memorized ever turn that they took with the guards towards her cell. Part of her thought that as soon as they reached a dark enough corridor she should simply take out the guards and run. The only issue however was the fact the paralysis was not completely warn off, she was not at full strength. Perhaps in a while she would escape. For now, just to plot and let her body burn off the rest of the damn paralysis.

It seemed like people were being thrown around left and right. No one was dying, that was good, but they weren't completely staying out of trouble. Flame wanted to help everyone but that was just not possible, she was only one person. "Come on Hunter, Akari, Griffin, hurry and plug the hole before any more get in here." Flame grumbled to herself before she took off flying towards where Tessa was.

    Flame's eyes drifted over to
Gale and Chrono, they seemed to be doing fine on their own and working together, that was good. The key was not to fight alone, though Drake had already thrown that out the window. Flame let Tessa finish off the titan she was fighting on her own, in the meantime Flame made quick work of another herself. "Don't let yourself get separated. Always work together. The moment you let yourself get separated from Gale, both of you nearly died." Flame cautioned as she approached Tessa. "You don't have to fight with me, but stick near someone who can watch your back." Flame continued to caution before heading off towards another titan. "Coming? Or are you going to help Chrono and Gale?" She offered the girl a choice.

Slavko only grinned when Nick complained about his tie. How funny it was that people could get so attached to things that didn't matter at all. He simply prepared his chain for another attack when Nick went on the offense. Slavko was forced to try to move away which didn't give him enough time to stop Nick from climbing on his back and choking him. As Nick did so Slavko only smiled preparing to be sent back to the depths of hell once more. "I had fun playing with you my dear boy. I will look forward to future meetings and games, perhaps one day I can break you like I did her." Slavko glanced over at Roxanne giving her a devious smile before he finally fell and the body faded. He would be back, and when he was he was armed with a little more knowledge about this new shadow hunter, so playing with him would be more fun. He had tormented shadow hunters all across the world, playing his little games between tormenting the humans, but New York, it was always his favourite place to return to. His favourite place to torment.

Roxanne was laying on the ground wishing to help, but the bleeding in her side and stomach from the two strikes were enough to keep her back. When Brianne used the healing wound to stop the bleeding, Roxanne was almost tempted to jump in and help Nick with the battle, but then again the pain was still there and Nick seemed to be doing okay on his own. That being said she could tell Slavko wasn't really trying. Especially by the end, Nick was strangling him and yet he was simply talking. She hated that look in his eyes, the way he spoke, everything about it was tearing at her mind, getting to her.

Roxanne brought her arms up above her head as she curled her body despite the pain. Her mind flashed with the same taunting speeches that Slavko gave after almost everything. She remembered a few of her kills, the people she killed to kill Slavko. She remembered the grin on his face each time he died.
"I can't do this. I can't do it. He will be back I know he will and I don't know what to do." The girl panicked as she held her head trying to keep things out of her mind but it wasn't working. She was suffering a lot.

"I agree my good lady." Laurentinus replied to Kara as she suggested skipping the fake meeting. Looking at the position of the sun he figured he had time to check things out before they were supposed to meet up with the others. That would be good, a little extra knowledge was always a good thing. They didn't get a chance to go anywhere however when Shyra turned up asking if they had seen Tessa and Conrad.

    While
Kara didn't seem that worried about them, Laurentinus however was slightly worried. "I think we better go looking for them. I know that guy was a bloody idiot but he did mention something about a dark skinned man that could be capable of assassinating someone. And some sort of events around the caverns. They could have gotten themselves in trouble, perhaps we should check up on them." Laurentinus suggested. He wanted to make sure they were safe, no matter how annoying they were getting.

Seth took Tessa's instructions as he lead her down the allies. He kept his eyes out for any more signs of trouble. He didn't mind when Tessa buried her face in his shoulder, he didn't understand why, but he didn't question it either. She was still injured and not in the best shape so he would let her do that if she pleased. He was just there for a little support. As he helped her along he had one hand on her back occasionally gently rubbing it while whispering they would be okay and that they were safe now. He was not entirely convinced of this himself but he didn't need to give Tessa any more to worry about.

As they approached the place Seth looked down at his clothing and sighed. He really didn't want to go in there looking like he was, perhaps he needed to take on an image of a female. That or find proper clothing. Either optioned seemed like a hassle given the situation, he just had to get them inside and somewhere for
Tessa to rest. With a large sigh Seth made himself walk out of the ally and into the Golden Sturgeon. He received a few weird looks but ignored them as he walked up to the person at the bar. "Excuse me sir, what fish came in today?" He asked him, just as Vecelsav instructed.

"You think I wanted that?! After all this time you think I really wanted to kill all dopplers? No! I wanted to kill him and only him. Anything beyond that was just so I wouldn't be caring Veera's body back to Kaer, bloodied and broken. I am not that heartless. The man who hurt my sister is a monster. I said nothing about the others. But you all seem to care about those damn dopplers more than my own sister anyways. Once upon a time I looked up to you, witchers, begged Tatiana to let me become one so I could protect the people I care for. Protect humanity. But as soon as I did and took my first step in protecting her you guys bring her into a dangerous situation and leave her somewhere that no one seems to know, and let the man who nearly killed her walk away. You speak as though you have a heart but it is stone cold." Aaron retorted before turning to walk away. He was going to find Tatiana and take her away from here. He would find somewhere safe for her, and then return to Veera, because in the end he had a promise to keep and she seemed to be the only one who understood the importance of Tatiana's life now. Everyone else cared more about a single doppler than the safety of not only his sister but perhaps many more. He took slight comfort in knowing Veceslav took a few precautions towards Seth and future trouble he might cause, but that didn't totally comfort Aaron, there was still risk and it was still possible that Tatiana could get hurt by him again, and that was something that he didn't like, not at all.

"Well look who is tryin' to be mister scary. Look pretty boy, we got the lass first. I was tryin' ta be nice ta ya, but now I will haveta kill ya." The man not holding Tatiana said, holding his sword out ready to fight.
Meanwhile Tatiana started to trash slightly more violently in the other brute's arms, trying to free herself from him. It didn't get her very far, instead just angered the man more.

"Quit ya squirmen damn it!" He said as he brought his hand around her waste up and shoved his dirty fingers in part of the cut down Tatiana's chest from when her dress was cut free. Tatiana screamed into the man's hand as he held it there for a moment until it seemed she was getting lightheaded and stopped screaming. With the moment of silence he threw her to the ground, knocking the wind out of her, picked up her dress and began to shred it. He used one strip as a gag, one to bound her hands, and one of her feet. Tatiana couldn't struggle much as she was still trying to catch her breath once again. Kicking her once to make sure she was in enough pain to know not to try anything the man then joined his comrade who was protecting them for the time being, ready to join in the fight.

Tears dripped from Tatiana's eyes, but not from the pain. She felt bad that she couldn't defend herself. She felt bad for making others have to protect her, and she was scared that with two versus one,
Kruez might get hurt or die trying to help her, however in the end she wasn't worth it. Perhaps if she could just get away then Kruez wouldn't have to fight. Her movement was limited and without clothing dragging herself across the ground seemed like it would do more harm than good at this point, so her options were limited. Tatiana did her best though, slowly inching her way further in the ally, hoping it wasn't a dead end, hoping to get out of sight soon so Kruez didn't have to try to save her. She just had to do something, anything to make the situation better than it was, but if it would actually work, well that was another question entirely.

"As good as it can given I was stabbed three times I suppose." Terra replied with a bit of a dry laugh. The situation was not funny, but still, being able to laugh at herself was better than nothing. "It still hurts to move, but that is to be expected." She then explained better what she meant to Sweallow. "Given you treated it, any idea how long it should be till I will be good to be back on my feet, traveling?" She asked him hoping it would be soon. She had to keep moving before someone caught up to her and hurt the people here too. She didn't want to drag anyone else into the mess like she had Zephyr. She just hoped the young lad was okay now, she hoped he had also escaped if nothing else.

Once far enough away, Laurentinus stopped and looked at Kara. "What the hell was that? What did you just pull me into?" He said, his tone, serious, almost pissed off. However soon after he cracked a smile. "He was such an numskull, I can't believe he bought it. That was priceless. He couldn't even clue in I was a city guard at first and now he is convinced I am a Duke? That was too good." He said with a smile. As for the stuff about stealing he, despite he better knowledge, decided to ignore and keep a secret. He was a guard, he was meant to protect people and arrest those who steal, but there was something about this girl. He couldn't bring himself to get her in trouble.

    Ren sat down beside
Kara as he let out one last chuckle. "So I would say on top of all this we got some useful information out of him, and he even spoke of stuff about the caverns. I would be interested to see what was in those caverns. So lady secretary, shall we "go to our meeting" Then go explore?" Ren said as he stood up.

Finally the man seemed to have a chance to speak with him, that was good. "Given my friends humoured you in your little game, I would hope you are willing to humour me by answering some of my questions. You see I am trying to help out a friend discover her past. Her name is Johanna. At the pie the people there told me that you might have a clue about what happened with her. I mean her past. She was from around here apparently besides that I know little else. Do you mind sharing anything you might know?" Trevor asked politely.

As Vance yelled Thea cringed and stepped back. His yelling was scaring her. She knew that she was difficult child, but ignoring her wasn't going to help at all. Tears filled her eyes as she got scared. Before she was upset but she felt no threat, that being said her powers were still calm, but now she felt in danger by Vance in the way he was speaking and that was not a good thing. She felt the heat rise through her body as she shook. "Don't yell at me! I hate yelling!" Thea yelled back, she was afraid of Vance and what he might do, as well as herself.

The magic bubbled more inside her and she knew any moment she was going to lose it.
"Go away!" She yelled trying to warn everyone to move as she flung her hand out to point them to go, however as she did blue flames sprayed out "No! I didn't mean! Please be okay! I am sorry!" Thea yelled out as she backed up and fell to the ground, tears streaming down her face. She was scared, very scared and she was feeling more and more like a demon child. "I want my father, my real father." Thea cried as Vances words echoed in her mind. "He is dead."

Well with the three shadow hunters in the room things were undoubtedly going to get really ugly really fast. It started with getting kicked in the face. Why always in the face, didn't they know how precious faces were to him, his or those he used to manipulate others? Right after it was followed by being hit with the bed post, yet the pain didn't bother him. The pain was in the body and since it was not his body he disconnected himself from it pretty easily. Then there was the fact the other girl revealed that she had a glamour on, so he shouldn't see her, oh well. If they had not figured out he was something other than a human by now, they really were dumb.

With things going the way they were, using this body was no fun anymore, however shedding the body, that would be a lot of fun. Slavko emerged from the body of the woman in all his glory and looked Roxanne straight in the eye.
"Three against one, that isn't fair, but I don't fear dying, isn't that right Roxy? How many times have you killed me now, yet here I am, haunting you again." Slavko said as he looked Roxanne in the eyes, her eyes cold and dead instead of alight and insane like usual.

"Ten... about to be eleven." There was no joy in her voice at the thought of killing, instead it was cold and filled with hate. Roxanne launched herself forward even though she was signaled to watch the door. She had to kill this man once more. He may keep coming back one day he would learn to leave her alone. One day he would let her live her life and not come back to haunt her.

Flying at Slavko, Roxanne had her knife drawn and ready to attack. Her movements were frantic as she tried to attack him, but Slavko simply moved to the side. He used his chain to whip Roxanne in the side and cause her to crash to the ground. Slavko continued to hit Roxanne once more before anyone could do anything, then he paused a moment to speak. "While you focused on getting better in your crazy combat style of yours, you don't change it much. I watch, adapt, and learn from each of your battles, changing. This time you lose, even if I die. You lose." Slavko said with a smirk, turning from the injured girl and whipping his chain towards Nick.

Roxanne lay on the ground as she stared at Slavko, how much she wanted to get up and fight him, however her side ached a lot and she knew that there was two others to take care of him over her. There was no use pushing herself when it was not needed. Her side was split open from the chain. It was not a normal chain she realized, it had some sort of sharp pieces to it as well. Probably one of his changes from last time. "Kill that ******* Nicholas, he is all yours." She told him.
