Terra awoke the next day in more pain than she wished to be in. Nightmares had kept her tossing and turning through the night despite the stitching in her back. It felt almost embarrassing to admit the pain or ask for any help, so she didn't. Instead she simply started by trying to sit herself up in bed. She really wanted to get outside that day, but she had to see if she could remain on her feet for long first. It seemed that nothing was going to go as she had hoped for her today. Terra let out a sigh before she attempted to swing her feet over the side of the bed in order to stand up properly. She planted her feet on the ground and started to push herself out of bed. Letting out a groan Terra eased back down to sitting on the bed. Not yet it seemed. Perhaps in an hours she would try again when her wounds were less irritated from her restless sleep. Matilda entered when the door was opened for her. She was tempted to ask the servant if he would bring her to Sigmund instead of Seth and Tessa, but couldn't bring herself to do so. She had to help Seth and Tessa first, then she would figure out how to ask Sigmund for help, though part of the problem was that she didn't actually know what she needed help with per say. Her brother was missing, though she didn't know what happened, where he went the night before, if he could still be returning later in the day and had just perhaps stayed the night with a girl. She didn't know what it could be, but perhaps Sigmund being a mage could help her figure it out. She didn't actually have an idea if this mage had any abilities that could help her, but she had to try. Matilda put those thoughts aside for the moment as she arrived in front of Tessa and Seth's room. Hesitating before she did so, Matilda knocked on the door and waited for them to answer respectfully. Hearing the knock at the door, Seth sighed. He didn't want company, and it seemed Tessa didn't either, but he figured they had little actual say in the matter. "Sorry Micheal but apparently we aren't allowed a little longer, as much as I would like it too." Seth said before rolling over and kissing Tessa on the forehead. "I will get the door however, you can stay in bed a little longer." He assured her as he got out of bed and opened the door for Matilda. The first thing he noticed when he did so was the haunted look in her eyes. She didn't look tired like she didn't sleep, just like there was five hundred things going on in her mind and none of them good. He considered saying something but chose not to. "Good morning Matilda, Gregory." He greeted as he stepped aside to let them in. As he did he spotted the bow slung across her back, something was up with her, though he wasn't sure if it was smart to pry for information at this point. "Good morning Seth. Good morning Tessa. I apologize for waking you, I just can't afford to let too much of today pass by. Something unexpected came up that I have to deal with." She explained, trying to stay professional and not bring her personal life too much into this. "Tilly does this have to do with why Talon wasn't at breakfast?" Gregory spoke up. "No Greg, it doesn't. Don't worry about that please." "Then where is Talon?" Gregory insisted to ask. "I-I don't know...." Matilda finally admitted. She couldn't lie to her younger brother but she had been avoiding saying anything about it to him until now. She didn't need him worrying about it too. "Did he go to bring mommy and daddy home?" Gregory continued to ask. "I don't think so. But Greg, Tilly needs to work. We will talk about this when we get home." She insisted trying to keep her brother from speaking up more. Matilda then proceeded to lean her bow against the far wall and then start unpacking some of the stuff she would need from her bag. "Now then, who is first today." Matilda asked. The warmth of the sun peaking over the gates to Kaer felt nice in comparison to the chilled winter morning air. She cherished the warmth as she sat watching the gate. As much as she just wanted to relax and enjoy the sun, instead her mind kept itself busy by running through the debts she owed and how she might manage to pay them. She owed Veera for saving her life, a debt bigger than she thought even possible to pay. Then she owed Derrick for helping her till they got to Oxenfurt, that one she might be able to find a way to pay off. She didn't feel like she owed him as much as he did Veera, and in the end males were easy to please. There was the debt to the brothel which she owed, but the only way she would hope to pay that one was through returning, something she didn't plan on doing. She had already paid her debt to Kruez. Though even with that list she felt she was missing one. Someone she promised she owed them, but for what and why was lost on her. Tatiana rubbed her eyes with the heels of her hands. When would this constant confusion ever go away. She hated it. She hated not being able to remember everything she wanted to. It made her nervous and scared if she had to live her life in this fog. With the kind of life she had lived so far and what probably awaited her, the confusion could only mean a lot of trouble for her. She couldn't rely on her brother for the rest of her life either. She could ask him to help support her, but for how long could she expect that? A week? A month? Perhaps if she was lucky a year, but he needed to live his own life, she couldn't be dragging him down. She needed to find away to get rid of the fog covering her mind, and fast.
What the f*ck, what the serious f*ck was going on. The man was climbing over him like he wasn't there. Who did that. He thought the man was a little messed up, but this was too much for his taste. He was almost starting to regret being there. Was it seriously that important that he was next to the man who called himself Sanderson? If Bryce had just asked he would have moved, but instead he had to climb over him. This was getting just a little too messed up. Moving away from Bryce slightly, Sebastian say and listened to what all was going on. In all honesty he was not sure what side of things he was on. Killing all the drakes would ensure the towns safety, but if there was away to do something for them to make them stop attacking the town, that might be just as good of an option. That being said there was no promises that later the Drakes wouldn't come back and attack the town again the next time someone made them mad. It did leave them in an interesting predicament. Perhaps finding the Winter Man would be a good start to see what side that they should be on. Sanderson seemed to be on the same page, so Sebastian didn't bother to speak up. "Thank you for the meal. I look forward to our adventures tomorrow with the drakes. Goodnight." Sebastian stated. He however chose not to sleep in a tent, but instead outside on the ground next to his horse which had also curled itself on the ground to sleep for the night. When there was no hotel to sleep in that was what he often did, no use changing it now. When morning came Sebastian arose at the sound of Sanderson's voice. It was time for their little adventure it seemed and for him to complete the job he was hired to do. "I myself am ready to go. My the Guardian favour you all on this fine day. I have a feeling that his light shines on us and our adventures." Sebastian stated before mounting his horse preparing to go.
Everything seemed to be going well. Though Clarity didn't sound so great at least she was talking, joking slightly. The girl could keep herself awake for now, without Felicia's help in a distraction, that was good. Felicia completely backed away when there was the comment about foreplay. That was not what she intended. When she was a child, a human child, when she was upset or scared her mother used to let her rest her head in her lap and she would stroke her hair. To Felicia that was a place of safety and comfort and that was all she was trying to offer. Either way if she didn't need it perhaps she should deal with her own injuries. Felicia simply watched as Clarity made an attempt to text someone she called Ash. She didn't need more people here. She didn't want more people here. Their best chance at safety was continuing with her story. The more people brought in, the more difficult that would be. But at least by this point the rest of her pack was arriving, only a small comfort. When they reached the room Felicia turned to one of the females in the pack. "Go search this place and find us some proper medical supplies as well as a cloth and bowl of water, but take someone else with you." She instructed. She wouldn't let anyone wander alone, not when the Inquisitor was likely to be back, looking for her head. She turned to some of the others. "I need you guys to patrol entrances, let any werewolves in, I will deal with them and warn me if the Inquisitor is coming. If anyone else arrives, judge their threat level and either send them with someone to come see me or send someone to get me and I will meet them outside. The inquisitor will want my head and I don't know when he will be back, we need to take precautions." She warned as she headed back to Clarity. "Taunting him really wasn't helpful you know." Felicia said with a slight laugh as the medical supplies arrived. "Please hold still, I am going to clean your wound, but first, take these, they should help the pain." Felicia handed Clarity some pain killers that were found with the medical supplies before starting to unwrap her arm. She dipped the cloth in the water and started to work on cleaning, though her shoulder protested. Just a little longer and she could deal with that bloody mess, but it was nothing too serious so she was trying to leave it for the end.
Anthea had held her breath as they walked, nervous that she had gotten her directions wrong, but luckily enough that was not so. She was able to help them find their way back to the path and they were back on their way towards their destination. Though the closer they got the more she realized the reason behind the name of the place as rolling fog covered the path. It almost made the entire thing look creepy in a way. Nearing the entrance Anthea heard the voices before she saw the source. When she did she halted for a moment. The people that Russel must have been with were now tormenting a man. They had to do something to help, and it seemed Aston was on the same track as her. Unfortunately for them Kellan was not, though the man did make her uncomfortable so she was not entirely upset with him running ahead. Anthea raised her staff as she prepared to cast a spell. Snow and ice surrounded the end of the staff before it fired off at the thug nearest to her. "Quickly! This way, he should be slowed down a bit now." Anthea called out to the man in the middle in an attempt to help him out of his situation. There was only so much she could do, but perhaps this was enough to give the man a chance to get away. In the meantime Anthea thought it best to protect herself for the time being. Laurentinus only could give Kara a small nod in response. There was nothing else to really do at this point. It was a good idea to check the house for medicine, but he knew he couldn't help, or at least shouldn't. The less moving the better and it also gave Kara less reason to yell at him. However just standing idle for an indefinite amount of time started to not sound so appealing, so instead he slowly lowered himself to the ground so he could sit, leaning his back against the house. The pain lessened as his arm went numb, though that was as bad of a sign as the pain was. Laurentinus rested his head against the house looking up to where the sky would be if they were outside. If he had to sit here in misery he at least wished that he could have had some fresh air, but even that was not possible for him right now. The one thing he could be grateful for however was the chance to he happy for a while before all this. He might die here, or lose an arm and be unable to continue with any plans for his life, but for the first time since his sisters murder he laughed, really laughed, and that was something he could be grateful for. Not only did he laugh but in the house behind him was a girl who actually cared enough for him to be searching through someones house just to find something that could help him. He meant something to this girl it seemed, and that was an amazing feeling. With no family around anymore he didn't mean much to anyone. With this in mind he was a little more at peace with whatever was to come next for him. What Anthea did Anthea used Snowflakes (7ap) Anthea used defensive stance (3ap) Anthea used a total of 10ap out of 10 or 11 ap because her page says 10 in some spots and 11 in others
As things went on, Karina was not in the best of shape. She began to get more annoyed with the situation but was determined. She had to leave the damn mouse in the others hands instead of destroying it herself, so she could at least do them this favour and get rid of the main enemy as fast as possible. Karina let out a cry of determination. They were going to get through this as fast as they could. Karina wasted no time charging forward again, keyblade in hand to attack the shadow blot. It was going to die. She was going to make sure it would die. Karina used a combo
Yvette waited impatiently as the Captain checked a few things on her tablet before allowing her on. She was excited to start this mission and get out into the open air and fly. She wanted fly, if not by her own wings than in a ship. Soon enough though permission was granted for her to board on top of being informed she was to pilot the ship. "Yes Ma'am I can handle that. Thank you Ma'am." Yvette responded to Almira. She was about to board when Almiria spoke up once more. "No questions Ma'am, I will be there on time." She assure the woman before finally taking her first steps onto the ship. The inside felt bigger than it looked. There was so much she could explore but only two places interested her. Yvette wanted to see where she would be piloting from, and how the ship operated. She hoped no one would mind if she went do the engine room just to take a look. She didn't particularly have a talent for repairing large engines, but she liked to look at them, seek to understand them. On her way to the correct deck Yvette tied her hair up in a ribbon, making sure it was out of her way when she entered the engineering area. Stepping in the room she tried to keep out of all the works way while she looked around in amazement. It was one thing just to see machines at work, but it was another to see people working on them as well. She loved it. She slowly entered the room more, glancing around to see if anyone was going to stop her. She hoped they wouldn't, it wasn't like she was touching anything, just admiring the beauty of it all. That being said none of this could ever compare to the beauty of the open skies.
Felicia stood and watched with harsh eyes as the Inquisitor had canceled the runes on Clary and left. She had to keep her wits about her when he stabbed her though. She wanted to run after him and kill him then and there, but she knew that she didn't stand too much of a chance. Scaring him off was her best move. At least she had success in that and Clary was now safe. "Tory, Justin, contact all werewolves you know in New York. Get them to come here and pass on the message. We may all be in danger now so we need to work together. I will gladly work out dominance issues later, but for now gather the scattered pack. The institute is now our home, may as well fill it." She stated before turning to Clarity. Felicia walked over to the girls side and knelt beside her. Clarity was laying near a blanket that seemed to have been used to help Hendrick down. At least it was close. "This might hurt a bit but I need to keep pressure on the wound until the proper supplies are brought to clean the wound, but I need to wait for the others to get here for that. No one leaves this room until there is enough of us to ensure we are all safe." Felicia told Clarity as she began to tie a scrap of fabric tight around the wound from the Inquisitor stabbing her. Felicia herself had a wound to take care of but for now Clarity was in far more pain. "You will be happy to know Aethelrick got away with his friend and another girl towards the safe house. They should be fine. And I am just glad I was able to get up here in time to help you." At this point Felicia was just continuing to talk in order to give Clarity something to focus on other than the pain. She needed to make sure the girl stayed conscious. She did not know what sort of internal damage those runes could do, but she was scared for her safety. "And you will be safe from now on. Even if you are not a werewolf you are part of my pack, and a pack protects each other." Felicia said as she stroked Clarity's hair. Roxanne had caught the Vampire by surprise, but she wasn't perfect. She didn't get the vampire down on the ground with one attack like she intended and ended up being thrown on the ground herself. Roxanne however knew how to recover quickly and was on her feet before the vampire could do much to her. As she used mostly the strength in her arms to push herself off the ground, she was able to kick the vampire with her feet sending it stumbling back. Roxanne giggled slightly as she approached. The vampire hesitated a second at the insane girl before going to attack again only for Roxanne to do a back hand spring away from it, kicking it in the chin in the process. When both feet were planted on the ground from that and the Vampire was still slightly dazed, Roxanne rushed forward. She was able to knock the vampire to the ground this time and get on top of it. With it pinned to the ground Roxanne was ready to start her carving. Of course killing a vampire like this wouldn't work as well as one hoped, but after it seemed like it was about dead she would light it on fire. That would ensure it's death.
Delia handed Colton over to Alarick once outside. The boy looked like he was about to faint and Delia didn't know how long she could support dead weight. When he could even sort of walk, it was one thing, but a completely limp body was completely different. "We need to find somewhere to rest and quick. I don't think either of us want to be carrying Colton for long if he passes out. And we cannot go to a proper doctor. We will find help for him but don't you think that my father will look for us at a hospital. It is no mystery how bad of a shape that Colton is in. We all know he needs help. Lets just find a place to rest and then when one of us is feeling up to it we can find him some help." Delia instructed. Delia put her hood up to cover one of the signs of her mutation, the wolf ears, but they worked well for this situation. Better hearing would work to their advantage. Taking the lead Delia began to weave through allies, fearing stepping into the streets right now. They needed to find somewhere safe and fast. Colton was shifted from Delia to Alarick as they helped him along. He felt bad for being such a burden but they refused to leave him behind, it was their choice. Even if he didn't like it, he really didn't have the energy to bother arguing. He barely managed to drag his feet along the ground trying to walk. He had used so much energy locking every door along the way, energy that he didn't realize that he had. He just wanted them to get out. Now that they were outside, they were far from safe, but Colton was no longer any sort of help. He couldn't manage to keep his eyes open, much less use his powers.
Adelina took Zelina back, smiling at the little girl and Zack pouted. "You mister need to finish eating before the babies wake up, which my guess will be soon. So no pouting." She instructed Zack as she rocked her child. Zack was a great father, she knew from the start he would be. He would make a great husband too... that was if he ever manned up and proposed to her. She had been waiting a while for it, and still nothing. She tried to ignore it though. It would happen in time, and if she could manage to get Tessa together with Gale before that happened then perhaps it was even better. She didn't need Tessa feeling any more lonely. It wasn't long after that Zelina started to cry and she noticed Zarron threatening to wake up. Adelina stood from the table to rock the baby more and walk around with her. "Hush dear, let daddy and his friends eat in peace." She whispered quietly to her baby girl. The child surely didn't need to eat. She had fed both the kids right before coming to the kitchen. Even over the crying of Zelina she caught Gale saying that he would join Tessa on their. Excellent. That was the first step. Now she just had to find time to set up the perfect date for those two while dealing with her children, and keeping it hidden from Tessa. It was going to be so cute. Then once Tessa was happy again then perhaps she wouldn't mind watching the kids so her and Zack could have a date of their own.
Laurentinus looked away from Kara as she approached to help him. He had been stupid, he knew that without her needing to tell him. He just wanted to try to calm it down so it could gain control, but he was too late for calming it down. He should have known. "I'm sorry." He mumbled to Kara. He was terrified that because of this something might happen and he would leave her. He hadn't known Kara for long but from what he could tell she needed someone to care about her. He planned to be that person, but how things were looking now... he wasn't so sure he could anymore. Kara mentioned something about them being screwed, and as true as it felt he didn't want her feeling so bad about the situation. Laurentinus reached out with his uninjured hand and touched Kara's face, his hand resting on her cheek and his thumb brushed some hair out of her face. "We are not screwed. The spider was bringing us to our friends before right. They are probably near by. Tessa is good at healing if I remember correctly, all we have to do is find her. I am sure we are close." He told Kara. He wasn't entirely sure if this was true, but he hoped it was, for both of their sake. Though his breath was still a little shaky Laurentinus tried to keep his breathing slow. He knew these things Kara was telling him to do already, but he wondered how well they would work. The size of the spider meant that chances were there was far more venom in him than with a normal spider bite. Just the wound itself was horrid. He watched and blood dripped from it and hit the ground below. Just the size of the wound was enough to be a bit scary, never mind the venom. Yeah this man definitely had something wrong with his brain, Sebastian was sure of it. Poor man, he would wish mental illness on no one. Perhaps if the gods favoured this man too they would help him. There was always some hope, they gods were good to those who gave their lives and souls over to them. Though this did lead to the question, giving what Sanderson was saying, why bring this man along? Perhaps he was better with exploring and defending himself then he was with basic human interaction, but it was still concerning. Sebastian then turned to the other man who approached them. He had a stone arm and leg, something rather odd to see on a man. He was asking if they were the people trying to save the town, and while it was true, Sebastian figured it necessary to point out that he was not hired the same as the rest of the group. "Yes we are hired to save the town, but I as an independent mercenary. The rest of these lovely people have been hired as a group. I thought it best to work together instead of making it a competition. Have you been hired to do the same? Perhaps you should join us as well."
Aster didn't bother getting into the troop transport, instead heading straight for the horse. He much preferred riding himself than sitting in a vehicle. "She is beautiful isn't she?" Aster asked Kala as he approached the horse. "A pure breed, one of the finest horses around here. So lovely to ride." He commented as he began to lead the horse from the pen. "Sorry that you don't get to admire it longer, but this is my transport, I need to get on before I get left behind." He stated as he mounted the horse. He smiled as he started forward. He did enjoy riding horses and this one was not panicking which made things a lot easier. That being said he was more out in the open, meaning he was in more danger. Good thing he did not fear danger. These people were nuts. They were completely nuts. How had they managed to thrive as they had. She didn't understand what the new girl was yelling about but it sounded ridiculous. Not like she could do much about it to shut the girl up. She was bound in chains, perhaps too much so. They must really fear her if that is the case, and that was good. While most saw her as the lap dog for Jayce, as long as they still retained fear towards her, she was sitting in a good position. They all should fear her.
Just as the Inquisitor fired Felicia instinctively shifted meaning the bullets narrowly missed her. The two wolves that she brought with her then stepped forward, almost like cover, but she did not completely hide behind them. She shifted back soon after since she seemed safe for the time being. Well she was wrong in that aspect as he shot at her once more before stepping back. Felicia attempted to dodge the last shot but there was no time, she could only move as he aimed causing the bullet to graze her shoulder. Not the worst thing in the world that could happen, she would deal with it later. "I am telling the truth. Though you don't think I would invest so much money into something and not supervise it myself do you? I am a leader, I lead the assaults, I am not a tyrant and just watch them." She explained with some annoyance. "I was here to over look the process but when the pesky Nephilim left and my friend here didn't I thought I best investigate, especially when I heard gun shots. She may only be a hired hand but she is useful and I wish to employ her again someday, to do that I need her alive. And don't flatter yourself, I didn't bring a pack of wolves to deal with you. I brought them to see the glory of our new home. You were just a pest that we have yet to rid ourselves of. So I will give you one chance. Leave, and let her go. Stop whatever you are doing to cause her pain, and I will let you leave. Stay and another part of my pack should be arriving any moment now. Do you really want to take on half the werewolves in New York?" She asked the Inquisitor. Roxanne had soon gotten her ice cream that was long over due and hit the streets. She kept her knife in hand as she crept through dark allies keeping to the shadows. She enjoyed her ice cream while searching for those downworlders who decided to threaten the innocent people of New York. For once she felt like things were how it should be, after several days of them being all messed up. For once she felt calm and like she could enjoy herself for a little while. When she finished her ice cream she dropped the stick on the ground, a smile forming on her face as she caught sight of a vampire who looked ready to make a poor unsuspecting human their next prey. "Not today Vampy!" She shouted as she charged at the vampire ready with her knife. This one was going to extra slowly just for all that time she missed. Slavko had made it back to the apartment and was now resting peacefully. He figured soon he would get a phone call and have some issues to deal with around his "wife" dying or being injured, but he could deal with that when the time came. He was simply grateful that he was a good enough actor to generally get through that kind of stuff without raising much suspicion. He didn't have time to be questioned on his well being because he wasn't sad enough over it. He had a man to win over and learn all about. He had plans, and he planned to follow through with them. Until then he would enjoy his relaxing stay in the apartment.
Anthea simply looked away when Kellan got her name wrong once more. She didn't care what he called her, but in the end it didn't help the fact she was trying to get out of feeling like a servant, and having people like this around just made her think she was still not wort anything. It was mostly this man who did it, but even still. She just had to find a way to work on it around the fact that Kellan kept doing things like this. He was actually starting to get really annoying. Aston soon spoke up asking her what direction the path was, giving her the opportunity to be useful. "Well I believe based on where the tree Russel was stranded in, we came from that direction." Anthea pointed to the direction she believed the path was in. The angle seemed right from what she remembered when first seeing Russel in the tree by the wolves. The attempt to calm the spider had gone very badly. Right before the shadowweaver bit him he caught that it's eyes rested on a single colour. They were blue, unlike when he met the spider, they were red. He knew in an instant the spider was no longer their friend, but the realization came too late when the spider bit him. The bite went straight through his armour and into his finger causing it to sear in pain. Laurentinus grunted as he wrapped his other hand around his wrist, holding it tightly trying to numb the pain slightly. "Kara...." He got out before wincing again. "G-get a cloth or string and tie off my arm, the tighter the better. Don't let the poison spread." He told her. He knew he shouldn't move, that increased the spreading, he had to section it off to one area. He just had to put up with the pain until they found a way to heal him. In preparation for Kara's help Laurentinus began to get his gauntlet off his arm so Kara could properly tie it off, trying to ignore the blood oozing from his wound. Of course to do this it meant that he had to let go of his arm and stop what little pressure he was holding there, that just made things worse. Laurentinus tried to keep a brave face on for Kara but in truth he was slightly panicked, what if they weren't able to get to help in time. At best he would lose his arm from lack of circulation, or the poison through and that could get really ugly. Finally Sebastian dropped the reins of the horse and dismounted so he was on equal level with the men he was speaking too. He did not bother to tie his horse up, it didn't wander far. He knew who kept it fed and happy so he rarely went too far from him. Sebastian took a seat between the two men. He was slightly curious about the one who complained about being called a comrade. Was there something wrong with him? Perhaps he was really like a child in a man's body, or perhaps he had a bad day and decided to act childish. Either way it didn't matter too much to him. "Steak you say? I love steak. You must be of the more well off if you are still cooking steak after this mess. Oh yes, my name. I am Sebastian, I hail from the Whitethorn family in Haven. It is a pleasure to meet you." He introduced himself with a smile. "So tell me about this Adventurer Society of yours." He asked trying to start conversation.
Talon sat against the wall of his cell, gripping his shoulder. He had not slept all night, a mixture of pain and worry had kept him awake. He thought it had hurt when the arrow first pierced him, but getting it out was ten times worse, he nearly passed out during the process. He wasn't at his sisters shop, there was nothing to numb the pain and little to stop it from bleeding too much. The closest thing he had gotten to sleep was when he nearly passed out. He needed to find a way back, find a way back to his family. He needed to convince these people he was not a doppler sympathizer. He was a nobleman he deserved better than this. As much as he needed out he couldn't call for guards, that wouldn't help at all. He already tried to talk himself out of the mess with a guard once, it didn't work. He had to hope for a fair trial, then he might be released. In the meantime he hoped that his family was okay. He hoped that the guards didn't assume that the rest of his family were doppler sympathizers and went after them as well. Putting more pressure on the wound Talon felt the pain and the dizziness that joined it, he almost hoped it would make him pass out, maybe it would make this easier if he just slept for a little while. Morning came and Matilda got out of bed and began to get ready for her visit back to see Tessa and Seth. She had worked in methodical grace for the first half hour of her morning preparations, including starting breakfast for her brothers, however when Talon didn't show up with Gregory in tow, she began to worry. Matilda decided that Talon had probably stayed up late and was sleeping in, but since breakfast was going to get cold at this pace, it was time to wake him up. He needed to watch Gregory after all while she worked. Tapping on his door Matilda got no response so she simply entered. Talon was not in his bed, there was no signs he had even been home. Matilda began to bite at her lower lip. She was getting scared. What had happened to him, why wasn't he home? Matilda got Gregory up and fed. She neglected eating herself as she packed her supplies and went straight to Sigmund. She was scared for her brother and she didn't know who else she could go to. It helped that she had to go there anyways. But she needed someone to help her find her brother. She wasn't too sure who else to turn to. Before leaving the house she turned back and grabbed her bow and quiver, she didn't know what happened to Talon but she wasn't going to take chances. Soon enough Matilda found herself on the doorstep of Sir Sigmund, Gregory in her arms. Seth lay beside Tessa, not wanting to move and wake her. She looked so precious sleeping there beside him. She seemed so relaxed, so peaceful. Seth shifted slightly so he could look at his bandaged hand, thinking. Tessa had not allowed him to go get a job, but a job would lead to their safety. If only he had taken care of himself better. But if he took care of himself better Tessa wouldn't be getting the attention she needed and he insisted she had. She was getting better because of it, but he... he had almost lost his hand over it. Seth clenched his fist thinking about it, ignore the pain it brought. He had been stupid, but he had to do whatever he could to protect the woman he loved, to protect Tessa. Tatiana awoke bright and early the next morning not sure what to expect from the day. She wanted to go outside and wait for her brother but the lack of clothing was a problem. Tatiana started searching the room. They said these were spare rooms, so certainly no one would mind if she borrowed some clothing for the time being. The search had come up with clothing, but not of the female variety. She sighed as she slipped into a loose tunic and pants. She fastened the pants tight around her and rolled up the pant legs, she didn't care if the tunic was baggy though, With that she finally exited her room. Perhaps someone could find her proper fitting clothing later. Tatiana promptly headed to the front door and found a place outside to sit. She would wait there and watch for her brother to arrive. She hoped he would be back that day, but if not she would go back the next day. Either way she would be there to greet her brother when he returned. This time a proper greeting and not one that took place when she could barely stay conscious. Annabelle had stayed up late playing outside and now had no desire to wake up yet, so she continued to sleep in until someone came to wake her. (Or there was something to actually do as her.)
Doctor Sorrow sighed and rubbed his temples. They were going to get away because the boy that insisted about knowing of his work couldn't catch them, despite being trained for that. He even stated himself that he lead a group that were experienced at catching spyrix. How hard could these three be, especially when one was dying and needed help just go get out. "You are useless boy. You better return them to me in three days time." He instructed Drake as the man ran off. He then turned around and shouted to whatever faculty that might be around. "Turn the damn alarms off right now or one of you will be the next in line to be my test subject!" Moments later things went silent, but the systems had yet to be properly restored, allowing his prizes a way to escape. Delia nodded as she let Alarick take the lead. He didn't seem to understand she pretty much was a walking map for this place, she grew up around this place, visiting her father with her mother. It didn't matter anyways. "I will be fine, I am stronger than you give me credit for. And for the record I grew up visiting here, I am a map." Delia stated as she adjusted Colton's weight. She helped the boy forward, hoping that he wouldn't cough too loudly. That being said, either they ran into people and everyone would know, or they didn't and they were fine. Meanwhile Colton was finding it hard to stay conscious, he had used up so much energy setting this up. His eyes drooped but he forced them to stay open as he made his feet move. One step at a time, he just had to take it one step at a time. He was safe with Delia and Alarick, he was certain that they could get him out. As they came to doors that they didn't need to enter Colton began to lock all the doors then break the mechanism so they couldn't be opened using his powers. Each time it did this it pushed him closer to passing out but it kept the hall quiet for the time being. "Take a right ahead and then the back door should be up soon. It is the back door so there usually isn't any guards there, alarms usually do the trick, but Colton already took care of those. We should be good." Delia told Alarick. "Just hang in there a little longer Colton, as soon as we get you somewhere safe you can rest, I promise." She told him as she continued to follow.
Rose was soon surrounded by a large group of soldier. "I am flattered that you are putting this much effort in keeping me in your hands. Though it still won't last." Rose stated to the people in her vehicle. No response came of course but that was fine, as long as it got them questioning what she was planning. She wasn't planning much, but paranoia is fun to mess with. Aster stood silently as Carissa and Onamakritos began to talk. He could care less what mister high and mighty had to say. The conversation mattered little to him. He just wanted to get his sister transported. Aster watched as the rest of their group showed up, followed by further instructions. "Demi-god? Eh not a problem. I am not worried about it." Aster stated as he stood up straight. Hopefully it was time to go and do something. He couldn't stand just standing around her. The good part of this all however was another rather attractive member to join them. He could go try and get with her, however Carissa was around, and she was still far more attractive. Perhaps when he was allowed to leave Carissa's side he might sneak around a little. "So what do you say we get this show on the road?" He asked as he twirled his lance around a bit for extra effect.
Felicia let out a low growl, if the Nephilim wasn't going to help despite the sound of gunshots, she would. She had told Aethelrick and Hendrick to leave, but this other girl wasn't going to help either it seemed. Felicia was not going to stand for that. She ran towards the building, shifting once through the door. In her human form she was able to pull out her phone and send a message to the rest of her pack requesting their assistance, then she continued up the stairs. She didn't know what would be better, her wolf form, or her human, but at least in her human form she had some range. Slowing her steps Felicia approached the door that was wide open, two werewolves in tow. She drew a throwing knife from her side and threw it as soon as she got to the entrance. "I hired her. You want to know why. Because my pack needs a new home and I didn't feel like killing any Nephilim. I just needed to get them out. It looks like there was some complications though." Felicia said as she drew two more throwing knives and threw them at Corvo.
Roxanne reluctantly followed Alarick back inside when he arrived, however she did not fully enter the room everyone was meeting in. Instead she stood on the other side of the wall, enough to hear what was going on, but still remain mostly unseen. She didn't feel like having any eyes on her, judging her. All she wanted was information about how she was in trouble. In the end it seemed like the only trouble she was in was for not siding with one side. That being said she had not been given a choice on which side she wanted to be on. Roxanne started heading towards the door soon after Alarick had given his speech to the group, she only stopped a moment near the entrance to the living area to explain what was going on with her. "I don't want to choose any side. I don't want a part of this. Leave me out of it, leave me alone. I just want to return to my normal routine." Her voice was quiet as she spoke to Alarick. So long had she only wanted to help people she considered her friends, but now the only one that she could call that anymore wasn't here and she was told she was part of some sort of war with the Clave, being told which side she was taking. She didn't want to take any side. Roxanne walked away, not allowing any time for a reply. She left the building in a rush, however as soon as she walked outside her pace slowed. She just wanted to get back into a routine, but couldn't she go back to the institute? Could she go anywhere really? She didn't have a home to return to, she had made the institute her home, and she was not sure if it was a good idea to go back there. So where else was there to go? Perhaps just on a hunt, like a normal night. Sleep during the day, and hunt baddies at night. That seemed like a good idea. All she needed now was ice cream. With that in mind Roxanne started heading towards her favourite convenience store. Well it seems that her explosives went off in perfect time to the music and a couple trees crashing down just added to the symphony that was set before her. It almost seemed like Athelrick doubted her before he pressed the button, she hoped that now he would see just how good she was. Though with so much going on she knew that there was just a short window of time before people came to investigate and they would get caught if they lingered for too long. "Well That should be distraction enough for us to find your friend and Clarity and get ourselves out of here." Felicia stated simply brushing some dirt off herself, strayed around by the blasts. It was then that she had heard an owl call, and Athelrick echo it. She had a decent guess to what this meant then. "Time to go find your friend. Once we do, you two head wherever Clary wanted you to go. I will make sure she makes it out." Felicia stated, an order, not a request. Athelrick might not be a part of her pack, but he was under her supervision, so he may as well have been. Felicia stayed low as she began to sneak around the building, using fallen trees an other remnants of the destruction as cover as she moved. She trusted that Athelrick could do the same. When they neared the window he came out of, Felicia transformed into a wolf. Athelrick could take it from here, and she remained just to ensure the safety of Clarity, she had very little care for what happened to the shadow hunters.
Yvette itched to leave, got anywhere but remain where she was. She hated sitting around waiting tfor the time to go. It was too stuffy in the room she waited. She didn't have room to fly around and she didn't have a ship to fly yet. She was grounded, but not for long. It was finally time to head to the ship where she was assigned and she was more than ready to go. A grin crossed Yvette's face as she stood up and exited the room in a rush. The hall ways were too narrow or else she would have flown through them as she maneuvered her way towards the docks. Even without using her wings, she was able to swiftly make her way towards the bay, more quickly than most, though most wouldn't try. She tried to slow her pace as she got to the docking area. She didn't want to seem too over the top eager to the captain of the ship, she wanted to make a good first impression in the end after all. Straightening her uniform Yvette approached the Captain who seemed to be waiting in front of the ship. Stepping in front of her, Yvette saluted the woman. "Ensign Yvette Greer reporting for duty sir... er ma'am!" Yvette announced standing up perfectly straight holding the solute for a moment. "Permission to board ma'am?" She then asked the captain. It seemed like a silly question, she was assigned to this ship after all, but she still felt the need to ask.
"I don't plan on getting caught. Just do your best to not get caught either. It would be bothersome if I had to bail you out." Felicia said. Though truth be told keeping herself hidden had been rather lonely, so contact with Clarity had been a relief and she now thought of the girl as slightly a friend in a way. She wouldn't want to see the poor Ifrit caught. "I would never keep a boy from his explosives." Felicia commented back as Athelrick made his joke. From there she strolled out of the building, two werewolves in tow. They made their way to pick up her lovely explosives, before heading to the institute. "Perhaps if you get on my good side I will let you detonate the charges." Felicia flashed Athelrick a grin. as they arrived. "I would suggest you stay low and quiet now." She told him. Felicia began to sneak around the grounds of the institute, setting the various explosions around, none too close to the building that she would get noticed, however she did set one up in the tree, so that could cause some structural damage. Felicia adjusted the lengths of the fuses and she strung them all together. This was going to be a sight to see, she hoped to the angels that Clarity was ready for what was to come. Handing Athelrick the detonator Felicia began to dig around her bag. "You can hit the button but wait for my signal." Felicia sent a quick text to Clarity telling her to be ready before she found what she was looking for. It was a small pill shaped speaker but a rather powerful one. She hooked her phone up to it and turned the volume on both full blast as she pressed play. Music started blaring through the speaker as she waited and listened till it hit 1:08. "Three.... Two... One..." She signaled Athelrick in so the explosions would start at 1:12. "The Clave is hunting me and I am to trust no one. How do you know you are in the same trouble as me?! If he is hunting me for what I have done, no one else is involved." Roxanne stated, the knife still in her hand but her hand was trembling. She didn't understand it, how could she understand it. How could she understand it when all she got was an obscure message from Alarick, unless this was a trap by him or she wasn't in trouble and he was roping her into helping with something. It was all getting too much for her but she didn't like it, any of it. "I don't know what is going on here, but I don't like it, any of it. Just leave me out of it! I want to live my life to the best of my ability, I want no part of this, whatever it is!" Roxanne was nearly shouting at them. She didn't wish for anyone to get hurt and maybe at some point would have helped them with whatever this was, however she was so stressed as it was, she just wanted to get back into her normal routine and this wouldn't help it. She shouldn't have come in the first place. With that Roxanne turned to leave, she blade still gripped tightly in her hand. Perhaps she wouldn't go too far yet, get some answers from Alarick first, but she couldn't be in the room anymore. Fresh air was what she needed. So for the time being Roxanne stepped outside and sat on the front step, watching for the one who sent her the message in the first place.
