The conversation with Commander Lightwood was cut short by the Captain's arrival. It wasn't like there was going to be much conversation with the Commander anyways, not when she was simply a lowly Ensign. Yvette took her place at her console like she should and prepared as the Captain gave the orders. A small smile spread across Yvette's face as she prepared to take the ship out of port, she was finally getting to fly. She looked forward to getting away from this area and into the vast expanse of space that lay beyond. "Yes Ma'am." Yvette responded to the command to take them out of port. She soon fired up the engines and set things in full motion, ready to fly. Though she was excited on the inside, that didn't show, not anymore. Yvette fell into a place of extreme concentration as she prepared the ship and making sure each switch was in the right place and the engines were running smoothly before she did anything. This process didn't take too long, perhaps a minute from when the command was given. It was just routine final checks that couldn't be done till everything was running at full capacity. With everything confirmed good to go, Yvette began to steer the ship out of the port, taking her time. A ship this size was more difficult to get in and out of port than most, so she did not want to rush it. As she cleared the port more instructions were commanded of her. "Yes Ma'am." Yvette acknowledged the command once more. She would love to take the scenic route, but it was not up to her at this time and she knew that. She was here to fly a ship under the command of others, and if they didn't want to take their time then that was how it was. She supposed she understood why they couldn't afford to, but still Yvette's need for open air and space still played at the pack of her mind. Yvette did as she was instructed still cherishing the feeling of flying the ship and vast expanse of stars that lay ahead of her. Her hands moved across the console in an automatic fashion, knowing where to go and what to push while barely looking at it. Her eyes mostly remained on what lay beyond the ship, admiring the open space, but also watching for any danger. She may have had a habit of day dreaming, but she could control it enough to not put anyone in danger because of it. When she looked away from what was ahead of her, it was only to the console to double check what her hands were about to press or to check their course, ensuring she hadn't started to stay off accidentally. While everything else happened around her, Yvette was in quiet bliss. Just with the size of crew of the ship, there was always something happening around her, but she chose not to notice it for the most part. Only paying attention to what would effect her. She couldn't afford to be distracted by everything else around her anyways. She long ago learned to tune certain things out in order to focus on what she needed to, and that helped add to the peace she was feeling at the moment. This was where she wanted to be. She was simply no one important flying through the open air with no one looking up to her for anything. She was a pilot and that was it, nothing more. She didn't have to lead anyone and she didn't have to be noticed. She just existed to do a job, and that was it. It was the best feeling she could ask for at the moment.
Felicia simply watched as the other alpha and his pack entered, along with the female who had left the institute with Athelrick and Hendrick earlier. While Brianne talked in a somewhat civil tone towards her, requesting her to be human, Rhett was not as polite. Felicia suddenly shifted so she was now sitting on a step in human form instead of wolf form, studying those in front of her. She held a knife in hand as she began to toss it up and catch it. It was silent for a long moment before she began to speak. "No. I wasn't about to leave, and if you have an issue with that, there are plenty of others here you could take it up with. Perhaps the grumpy one who wouldn't listen to the stipulation of me leaving, or the Ifrit who I chased in here and in the end talked the grumpy one into letting me stay for the time being. But don't worry about your little pack. Mine already know to behave, so unless you pick a fight, there is no fight to be had." Felicia stated, keeping her eyes on Rhett and only Rhett. If he was going to challenge her for authority, so be it. If he was happy leading his pack and willing to leave hers alone, then that was fine too. "I never claimed this place as my own, no matter what everyone assumes so calm your tits. I can leave if you really want, but I want a promise that the man who tried to murder Clarity and is coming after me next would be dealt with without my help. See I would do it myself but that would require being around where he would return. But hey if you want me gone I would be more than happy to protect my pack and let yours handle it." Felicia said with a shrug. And it was more than true. She was supposed to be brought up as a ruthless leader, but Felicia actually cared for those she lead. She would do what she could to protect them and if that meant that she was the first to head into battle, she would. If she had to leave everything she was trying to accomplish to others in order to keep them safe, then she would do that too. However if she was going to be hunted she would be prepared the best she could, because that was going to be her best chance of survival. If they thought they were safe hiding and he found them, then it could cause a bloody mess, one she didn't care to deal with.
Anthea slowly awoke in the care of one of the men who was with them. He had been pretty quiet and out of the way and Anthea didn't know what to think of him, but he was helping her, so that was good. Anthea shifted slightly, she was sore, very sore. Looking away from the man and at the ground. She had let herself pass out during the battle, and the one spell she had gotten off didn't do anything. She was of no help at all there and was now just being a burden to the team. How was she supposed to learn to be more confident when things like that happened to her. "I-I am sorry I wasn't helpful. I am fine, don't worry about me. Did... is the other guy safe?" She hoped that she was at least enough of a distraction for the man she was trying to help to get away. Moving back slightly Anthea looked up finally to see the group. Roric was there and looked safe enough so she or at least the team helped him. That was good. It also seemed she was not the only one to be injured, as Kevin was sitting near by as well. This however did not help Anthea's confidence any. She gripped her arms tight, crossed in front of her chest as she examined the scene around left from the battle. It disturbed her greatly, but at least they all got out of it alive. Perhaps she was not cut out for this, but it was too late to turn around and go home now. Besides her master wouldn't be happy with her if she did. She just had to learn to handle it better. Anthea's eyes left the mess of dead bodies on the ground and she stopped listening to the sound of Baldomar killing the one man. She focused only on herself, looking down at her hands. Perhaps she should attempt talking to them but was it really worth it? Aston seemed to want her to try more, but was that still the case after she was completely useless in the last battle. She was unsure about any of it so remained silent. If anyone cared they would talk to her, if not she would keep going, unnoticed like she had been for so long. It was rather silent for a while as the group sat there either waiting for Alice to join them, or for his wound just to heal over on it's own. Neither was happening anytime soon it seemed, so the awkward silence continued for a moment longer. It was only broken by some strange noise followed by voices. Laurentinus looked up to see that Conrad, Tessa, and some other man had arrived. Kara was the first to greet them. Laurentinus followed but hesitated as he did. He laid eyes on the other man that he had not met. The man matched the description of the so called assassin that was around. As much as Laurentinus would normally feel threatened at first, Conrad and Tessa were both still safe with him, and Tessa seemed to be getting along just fine. On top of that the person who told him that the man was an assassin also believed he was the duke of a place Kara made up. He clearly wasn't that bright so perhaps shouldn't be trusted. That didn't mean Ren wouldn't be cautious around him though. "Good to see you two are safe. We were worried what happened to you after you up and disappeared on us." Laurentinus stated acting as though it wasn't a big deal. He moved his hand away slightly so the blood oozing from it was not nearly as obvious. He didn't much care to explain his predicament or really have anyone worry too much about him. He was fine, he wasn't dying anymore. The only reason they were still there was because Kara was too stubborn to let him leave with a bleeding hand. "So what have you two been doing all this time?" He asked.
While battles were raging on around him, Aster had to find a place that was less crowded with his own people to fight. Mounted warfare could be dangerous at times. He didn't want to trample his own team. Though by doing this it left him without any character interaction, so hopefully the battle would be over soon. He was indeed doing his part to kill soldiers and take them down, with minimal injuries to his horse. He himself got hit a couple times but nothing so major that he couldn't still fight. As Aster rode and fought he kept an eye on the demi-god. If he could draw him out then that would be a fun time, that was if Carissa wouldn't rip his head off for stealing her kill. She was known for hunting the demi-gods after all. However for the time being he would keep focused on his own battle, no matter how boring it was turning out to be for him.
While Corvo seemed so calm about everything, Roxanne was far from it. She wasn't in a position to do anything and was letting the man who had kidnapped and tortured her be the only thing protecting her at this moment. She couldn't even bare to look, so instead she looked down at her phone in hand. Two people's faces were on her phone, her sister on the lock screen, and fiance on the background screen. She had failed them both in different ways and now she was given a chance to actually save someone but that was going to fail soon too. Corvo's attempt at talking with the Queen was turning sour and even Roxanne could tell why and knew what he was saying was wrong. She didn't have time to react before vines came from numerous directions and hand her pinned once again. Free from one form of being bound, only to have it replaced right after so it seemed. This time unfortunately, instead of laying on a table, her restrains had her suspended in air while the Queen spoke. When the vines came from her she had dropped her phone once again. She could only watch as it hit the ground and disappeared beneath vines growing ever thicker. Vines used to kill a man. Though the words were mostly for Corvo, it seemed she was involved with them. A threat. The Seelie Queen was using her as a threat, bargaining with her life. There was a threat that what happened to one of the queen's own men would happen to her. Roxanne's eyes were fixated on the blood though. Usually her mind could pass it off as something else, something innocent that you would see in a game, but this was not a game and her mind couldn't make it into one. Each time she tried to let her mind wander to something else, let another side of her take over, the prickle of thorns brought it right back to what was really happening in the world that her mind rejected. It was all playing at her. The situation intruded her mind and made her panic slightly. She was trembling as her eyes then began to search the ground for her phone. For her once source of comfort in this foreign dangerous place. Even if she found it though she couldn't reach it. Roxanne knew this but she still tried. Right up until she caught the Seelie Queens demands. "You will kill Brianne Lightwood. As long as it's painful, I don't care how. I don't care where." The conversation returned to threats on her life, but that was all Roxanne could focus on. Those words. When they were let go of, Roxanne's knees buckled beneath her feet, not allowing her to stand. Her legs were sore from the torture she had endured and her mind and body were failing her at this point. "I-I won't do it." Her voice was soft and shaky. How broken that those lines had caused her to become was becoming clear. It was worse than when she first woke up here. It was worse than anything that had happened over the last few days. "I am not going to Kill Brianne. I want no part. I can't hurt anyone else I care for." Roxanne had both hands over her head as she shook. Her mind raced with images of her killing her fiance, her dead family, her sister being taken from her, and her killing her first boyfriend. All these played at her mind as she was on her knees shaking. "I can't do it... He won. He won! I can't stop him anymore! No matter how many times I killed him he came back! I can't do it! I won't let anyone else die! not at my hands! I can't do it!" Roxanne was yelling. Whether it was to the voices in her head, or to the Seelie Queen, Roxanne didn't know, nor did she care. She knew she wasn't going to make it out of this alive anymore. She was just a pawn, that was all she ever was. She was a pawn who refused to pay the price, and she didn't even want to know what the Queen had up her sleeve for her now. Whatever it was it would not be pleasant. It was probably perfect punishment for her, it was not like she hadn't been punished enough in her life as it was.
Tatiana waited patiently and quietly when Vecelsav left, mulling over everything they had talked about. She sat there wondering if her decision was the right one to make or not, and wondering how bad the death would be. She supposed it didn't matter anyways, no matter the pain it would eventually end and she would be brought into a life of peace. Peace... something so foreign to her but something she longed for. With that said she wasn't going to get it by letting herself die, she would live, for them. Veceslav came back into the room for her and she followed him to the training yard without saying too much. When told to select a sword she walked over to the rack, picking each one up one by one, trying to decide what was too heavy or not. Currently she was going for a light sword, she wasn't strong enough for something too much more. Tatiana wound up settling for the lightest one that she could find. She held it in her hand for a moment thinking about how to strike. She really had never even held a sword before, much less used one. After readjusting her grip several times, Tatiana finally decided to strike. She went for a strike to the gut, well it was more of a jab really. There was no swing really to it to be able to call it a proper strike, but it was the best she could come up with to do for now. Remaining quite during the entire talk, Matilda was more that happy to leave at the end. Seth was the first to tell Sigmund that there was nothing else to be said here. It was slightly hurtful that Sigmund didn't even ask what had happened, no offer to help. Then again it was unfair to expect him to anyways. At least he was willing to lend the money for a dagger. If Matilda had known that he was just going to give them money and ship them off then she would have paid herself. Now she supposed that she should give Tessa the money to pay Sigmund back, after all she was doing this to help her. "I will pay Sigmund back for the dagger. You are doing this to help me after all. Though my money is at home, so we will have to go get it later." Matilda told Tessa. She wasn't going to take no for an answer on this matter. "Lets be off then." She told them after, eager to get going and find her brother. She feared that he could be beaten and bleeding out in an ally somewhere or something. She didn't want to waste any time if she didn't have to. While Matilda was talking with Tessa, Seth had gotten distracted when a servant approached him, having found a letter for them. Seth took it and read it, though it became clear it was for Tessa. He didn't know what to think of the words on the page. It was not Bryce but Zack that betrayed them. Although that made more sense in what he knew of the two people, he still wasn't sold. If this was a trick. Tessa would surely want to see him and if this was false then he might try and hurt her again. For now Seth stuck the paper in his picket away from Tessa. He would tell her eventually but not till this was over. Besides he didn't want to make Matilda's situation seem less important. Catching up with the two girls and Greg, Seth took a place at the rear of their group as a way of watching from the back. Though Matilda looked prepared to handle herself, she was also holding a small boy in her hands which would make that all the more difficult. While he could offer to take the kid, Seth was never good with them and preferred not to. "You know the way around town better than us. Perhaps you should lead." He suggested to Matilda. When she agreed, he followed her lead. The walk was more difficult than Terra imagined it would be, but she was managing. The fresh air felt nice on her face as she walked. She didn't say too much but focused on what was ahead of her and following Swaellow. She needed to concentrate on walking just to keep herself from going to fast or moving any odd way to bother her stitches. What seemed like it wouldn't be too hard turned near impossible after being stabbed three times. She was simply lucky that none of the stabs had hit her spinal cord and paralyzed her. "Thank you." Terra said quietly as she walked into the small shop and started looking around, admiring everything. At one point she tried to bend down to look at something better but pain caused her to grunt and stand up straight again. "You know I know a little alchemy myself." She told Sweallow trying to start a conversation.
Roxanne felt slightly calmer as soon as her phone was placed in her hand. When the binding rune was removed from her skin, she brought the phone up so she could look at it, besides that, there was very little other movement on her part. She should get up, stretch out her stiff limbs, but all she could do was unlock her phone and stare at the picture of her fiance that served as her background. Everything around her faded at that moment as she looked at his face and thought about him. Whatever was happening around her was bad, she could tell that much. Out of the corner of her eye she could see the Seelie Knights closing in around them and heard the Queen talking, but even if she did pay attention Roxanne didn't know much of what was going on anyways. Her mind was almost in autopilot as Roxanne started to call her voicemail. "You have no unheard messages, and one saved message. To hear saved message press *beep beep* First unheard message." Roxanne's voicemail spoke to her on speaker as she followed the instructions. Suddenly a soft male voice started play though the speakers on Roxanne's phone. "Hey Roxi. I know it has been a hard day today. I wish I could be there for you, but I will be waiting for you when you get home okay?Just take it easy and know I still love you, no matter what happens I love you and always will. Never forget. You are stronger than you give yourself credit for. You will make it to the end of the day, and when you do I will be waiting at the door with chocolate and a big hug for you. I love you and can't wait until you get home. Stay strong Roxi *click*" "To erase this message press seven to save it press ni-*beep*" By this point tears streamed down Roxanne's face as she gripped her phone tight. The message brought sorrow, but it was a sorrow she had learned to handle and live with. In the meantime it helped quiet the demons in her mind. Feeling slightly better Roxanne sat up on the table, her red, teary eyes scanning everything around her. She didn't understand the situation, but she didn't think she wanted to. What she did understand was that whatever was going on was not going to be pleasant. Roxanne kept very still as she watched and waited. On her own strength she knew that she couldn't manage to get out of the situation, not after everything that had happened. Even with the runes gone, her legs still felt slightly shaky and part of her wasn't confident that she could keep her balance upon first standing. It was better not to do anything that seemed to be a threat. She had no way of protecting herself at this current time so perhaps it was best not to fight it. In her mind that seemed like the best way to live through this. Oh how Felicia wanted to say something about the fact that Clarity was the first to walk in to their home and how she just followed, but Felicia didn't bother, not when there was another issue at hand. They were bringing in another alpha and his pack. While Felicia had no right to argue and knew that there was some sort of matter of safety at hand, though she didn't fully understand it. It was a safe assumption to assume this had to do with whatever bigger problem was going on. "I will warn my pack, but if the other pack picks a fight, then I am not going to hold back mine. We cannot show sign of weakness. I cannot show sign of weakness, no matter what. We will play nice but only if they do." Felicia told Clarity before she strolled out of the room to start talking to her pack. It was hard enough as it was to get respect being a female trying to be alpha. Most females were not alpha and never would be, most wouldn't try. However that was the difference between her and most. She was stronger than most and would do what it took. There was no way she would bow to another. Prowling through the institute Felicia let each member of her now larger pack know individually what was going on and her thoughts on the matter. When that was done, Felicia took her place near the entrance in her wolf form. If anyone was going to cause problems it would hopefully be with her at the beginning when she could sort things out and she wouldn't have to run and break up something between one of her pack members and the other persons. She would rather have it sorted quick and easily, ahead of time. As she sat and waited for the people that were said to come, another person wandered in on his own. This one was not a threat it seemed, thank goodness. At the comment of expecting something more human like, Felicia shifted for the moment so she could face Nick in her human form. "None of us need tea thank you, but I would suggest you get inside and find your friends. None of my wolves will hurt you. However one of your friends is said to be showing up with another pack and depending how they react things may not be pleasant. I don't think you want to stick around for that." Felicia advised Nick. Hopefully he would take her advice then she would shift back. It was almost better to face other werewolves in her wolf form, so that is what she planned to do when it came time, but while dealing with Shadow Hunters, that was not as much of an option. Slavko sat against the back wall with his hands clasped behind his head. He stared at the doctor as he spoke wondering if it was possible to posses his body. Chances were it wouldn't be, but he would love to try. If he did, leaving would be a walk in the park for him. However now was not the time to try, instead just to see what he got himself into. "I didn't expect you to be stupid enough to let me die, but can you help it?" Slavko asked with a wry smile. "As for your question. What my demonic master, as you put it, comands me to do is irrelevant. I am not much for following specific rules. I don't much care for them I just would rather do what I want. His agenda is second to mine." Slavko replied, which was mostly true, but his master did approve of him tearing apart the shadow hunters from the inside, causing discord among them and making them unfit to rule. Destroying any sense of authority they had. Though what he was not happy about was how long it was taking Slavko to do this since he messed around pointlessly half the time.
"The death I am likely to face if I don't do the trials would be no better. You understand at the rate my life as been going I am not likely to see my next birthday right? I am prepared for the risk because at least I can live... for my brothers sake. And if I don't. I will be with him and ma." Tatiana stated to Veceslav. In her travels with Derrick she had thought about the likely hood of her being able to survive. If he had followed through helping her out of the brothel then she might have stood some sort of chance. But even then that was only if she could find a job that would take her. The fact of the matter was, she would most likely have starved to death after she left the company of the witchers, unable to get a job to support herself. And if Derrick did not go through with the plan, which seemed to be how things were going, she had mercenaries and other hired help out to bring her back to the brothel, but she felt that many didn't feel like returning her alive. If they caught her she would be raped and killed, or raped, forced back into the brothel life but to pleasure those with a fetish for causing pain, and then die eventually from that. Either way the end she would meet would not be pleasant, but more than that it would be a cold lonely death. After that conversation, they turned to something slightly less depressing, the talk of starting training. Training, she could do that. She wanted to learn a little anyways. "Alright. Lets do it then." She responded. She wasn't eager per-say, but she was ready to start. She had actually slept sound the night before, the first in a while so there wasn't much holding her back except maybe how clumsy she would be in her oversized clothing that she had found in the room that she had slept in. Matilda carried Greg through the hallway until they reach Sigmunds room. She didn't bother to say much at all, she wasn't really in a talkative mood. Though she had managed to stop the tears by this point, her eyes were still red and slightly puffy. Tessa had seemed to take lead, and she was fine with that. If Tessa wanted to do all the talking, then all the better. Words seemed to evade her at this moment anyways. There was little left to say after she failed to keep her personal and business life separate. But how could she not when her brother was missing? Seeing that Matilda wasn't saying much and didn't seem to want to, Seth took a step in front when facing Sigmund. He and Tessa would do the best to explain so she didn't have to. They would protect her the best they could, now they just needed weapons. Weapons that he hoped that Sigmund would let them borrow. There was a slight problem with that though. He didn't have use of one of his hands, making fighting difficult if it came to that, so he prayed to whatever god would listen, that it didn't come down to that. "Yeah we can go there. I don't mind. Honestly as long as I can get out of the house I am happy." Terra admitted. However going to an alchemist meant that people would more than likely see her and that was a little embarrassing. Though being a mess like this, perhaps if the people who had destroyed her home were still after her, they wouldn't recognize her right away. She hoped that at least, she could afford to deal with that right now, she wasn't in the shape to do so. She was just getting on her feet again after a day of not, she didn't fully have her strength back and she couldn't afford to use her magic too much at this time, not while her body was still trying to recover. Though visiting an alchemist might be interesting. It would be fun seeing what they had and could do, given she dabbled a little in it herself while trying to figure out the strand of illness that killed Eric. Terra just hoped her wounds wouldn't give her too much of a problem on her walk. She didn't need Sweallow carrying her back to his home.... yet again.
The suggestion came that they should wait for his wound to heal, but Laurentinus was not fan of standing around. "It is just a small wound on the hand. I don't think I would pass out from that." However that being said Kara had already taken a seat. Now they definitely weren't going anywhere. There was little chance that he could make her move. She was one of the most stubborn girls he had met. Something about that was slightly attractive to be honest. Laurentinus didn't dare sit on the bench where Kara had taken a seat. It didn't look safe to dare sit there. Instead he found himself sitting on the ground across from her, listening to the conversation that was being held. He didn't much care what was going on, so he didn't speak up, but he didn't mind listening in. It wasn't like there was much else for him to do given he was being ordered to wait until his wound healed, which would take who knows how long. It seemed that there was two spots that the drakes were the worst. Part of him thought it would be good to divide and concern, but in reality there was strength in numbers and it would keep them both safer. Not feeling like arguing about where to go, Sebastian gave the guard a nod. "Lead the way to the armoury then. We will take care of those drakes in no time." He assured the guard. He was confident that Ulrick was a good enough fighter that he wouldn't make him a liar when he said that. Giving his horse a light kick, Sebastian guided it forward, following the guard to their destination.
So far so good but it wasn't over yet, there was still far more that needed to be done. There was no time to rest yet, not till the Shadow blot had fallen at their hands. It wasn't that Karina was getting tired either. She could keep going, as long as needed. The group had fallen silent during the fight. There was no talking needed, they each knew what they needed to do and where they needed to be. Each had their roll and they played it well. Karina wouldn't say that they played it perfectly, but there was very few things that she would consider going perfectly. That simply wasn't doable. That was one good lesson that her father had taught her, and she always held onto. It could have been that it meant that no matter what he said, she could take comfort in the fact that him, himself was not perfect. With things going well Karina was not about to slow down now. She held her keyblade tight in hand as she eyed the monster. Soon, it would be soon that it fell. She wasn't going to waste any time. One foot after another, she traveled closer to the blot, moving faster with every step. Soon enough she was right in front of it, ready to attack, and attack she did. She spared no mercy as she slammed her keyblade into the monster again and again until she needed a moment to catch her breath. Only then did she take a step back to breath, but just for a moment. She couldn't afford to waste too much time even if it was to catch her breath. Karina used Combo.
"No! You can't put yourself in danger for me and my family. Besides you are not fully healed yet." Matilda insisted but stopped when Seth put a hand on her shoulder. "Matilda we all need help sometimes. Do you really thing you can find him on your own and can do something about it, with Greg in tow and it be perfectly safe? As it is I have seen this city many times and I don't like the idea of a young girl walking around on her own. Let us give you a hand, for your safety. Besides, if anything happens to you, who will look after our wounds?" Seth asked looking the young girl straight in the eye. It was rare that he was actually very serious, but watching the girl cry, he couldn't just stand there and do nothing. "We will talk to Sigmund and see if he has any other suggestions but we will help you." Seth offered, lifting his hand from her shoulder. "Okay..." Matilda reluctantly agreed. It seemed like they were not going to let go of the idea, so she had no choice but to accept. "Come now Greg, come with us to talk to Sir Sigmund. We will come back and get our stuff later." Matilda told him as she slung her bow on her back. She wanted to leave as soon as they finished talking, so she would bring at least that with her. She opened the door and nodded at Seth and Tessa to lead the way. Talon somehow managed to make it out of the dungeons and get far enough away to be relatively safe. By the sounds of things no one had noticed yet, but that wouldn't last for too long. He needed to figure out what to do. Talon didn't want to drag his sister and brother away from what they had here, but what choice did he have? If they found them they would surely at least arrest Matilda as a sympathizer like him. They would not give her a break. It was too dangerous to leave them here. On the other side though it was dangerous for a child of Greg's age to be traveling too much. Talon ran his hands through his hair several times as he traversed that ally ways. He couldn't go straight home, he would just lead anyone who could be following him there, but he needed a way to warn Matilda, get her out of the home. Talon made his way to the nearest of a network of people he worked with the get dopplers somewhere safe away from where people would hurt them, and even protect mages from witch hunters on occasion. Though the mages usually came into the city for safety, not leaving the city. From there he wrote a note and sent a bird to deliver it to his home, hoping Matilda would be there to get it. Even if someone else found it, the location would only make sense to her. It was the best he could do for her. While at his friends he borrowed a few weapons and a cloak that would do the trick for concealing his face. From there he started heading towards the location he had listed. Taking Sweallows outstretched hand, Terra found her way to her feet with a little difficulty. After laying down the entire day before, Terra became dizzy upon standing, and gripped Sweallow's hand in order to steady herself better. Placing her free hand on her head she mumbled an apology as she figured out her balance. Her legs felt a little weak after not being on them of a while, but she managed. Stretching them would be a really good thing for her anyways. She was aware that she probably looked like a mess, but really she didn't care that much, she just needed to go out, and it wasn't like she had anything here to chance into, or to brush her hair with. Terra couldn't find herself caring either way. "So, where are we going to walk?" She asked Sweallow, waiting for him to guide her somewhere. She honestly didn't pay attention to what town she portalled to, much less know her way around it to make any suggestions. She may as well let Sweallow lead her, not like she was convinced she could go to far without his support anyways. When Veceslav asked her to, Tatiana peered up at him slowly and fixed her eyes on him. She tried her best not to be too shy. She was intimidated by the Witchers, hence her shy almost submissive attitude she adopted around them. However now with permission to do so, Tatiana raised her head and looked him straight in the eye. She might have not been strong but it didn't mean she was so easy to bow to someone who didn't desire it. She was not that weak. Though the statements he made on the idea of her being witcher came down to one thing. They were children when they were brought and trained. On the flip side of that it might give her and advantage. On top of that there were the debts she owed. If she became a witcher she might have a chance of paying off her debts. She might have a chance at ridding herself of all debts without going back into the life she lived before. Then there was talk about the fact that she might not survive. The problem with that was, on her own she had no chance of survival. She might last a week before she was killed or dragged back to the brothel and wish she was dead. This was probably a safer option. At least she would die in the company of people she could stand to be around. Finally came to the last thing... her brothers death. After hearing those words Tatiana just sat there in silence for a moment. There was nothing to say. No tears fell from her eyes on the subject. She had not cried when her mother died. She had not died when her father left. She had to stay strong, for Aaron's sake. Now she didn't have him to stay strong for. She couldn't bring herself to cry even so. Perhaps it was for her own sanity, perhaps she just couldn't bring herself to do it after not crying for anyone else. She did not know but her eyes remained dry. "I will do it." Her voice was quiet as she spoke but it was definitive. She had no doubts about it. "I will become a witcher. I will train and help you guys in place of my brother. I will pay off the debts owed to Veera and Derrick and I will learn to defend myself so no one else has to. And if the trails do kill me, at least I die trying to do something useful instead of running away from a brothel." Tatiana stated to Veceslav. Honestly she had no idea what she was getting herself into, but she would do this because it would make both Aaron and her mother proud.
Corvo's voice barely made it through the voices that tormented her own mind, but it was enough to get to her. If she didn't help they would die. She could only protect her friends by helping him. She had no choice of staying out of this like she would have liked to. At this point it wasn't really a question anymore. On top of that she would have her phone back, everything that kept her calm and tied her to her fiance. "Fine...." She said though her voice was shaky and didn't sound as willing. It sounded more like a forced choice, but she didn't have a choice in the matter when it came down to it. She was not fighting for her freedom, she was fighting so her friends might live. And if they were captured, even alive she didn't much care for her freedom. But it was better for them to live in captivity than die a horrible death delivered by the Clave and his puppet. "I will help you. I will save their lives. I won't lose them too. I can't lose anyone else." She agreed. Though this still left Slavko free to run around, but perhaps someone else would eventually be able to deal with that before he caused too much more issues. "Please can I just have my phone back. Please. I just.... I just need to listen to an old message. Please." She begged Corvo. She had saved a message on her phone for nearly two years. It was a message her fiance left her once when she was upset and wouldn't answer her phone. His voice and soft words always helped sooth her, no matter how depressing it was to listen to. It calmed the voices in her mind just slightly and that is what she needed more than ever right now. It might just give her the strength to stand next to this man, though he had pretty much kidnapped her and tortured her. She had to stand beside him. It was for the sake of Hendrick, who was so kind to her. For Nick, though young and naive, always had a way of lightening her day with his quirky attitude. And it was for Brainne. Despite their falling outs, when she spared with Brianne or when Brianne gave her orders, it made her feel not so different from everyone else. They were the reason she was going to do this, she just needed a little boost of strength to get her started. "My dear boy, you have been to angry and intent on throwing insults to bother listening to anything I have to say. If you would listen you would know that I have no plans on staying long, and I would leave now, with my entire pack in tow, if you would sit down and help come to an agreement. But you haven't listened thus far so why would I try now. Now that you have offered I suppose I will remain here as a guest for a little while. I never did plan on settling anyways. Don't worry I won't be too in the way. I will even send out part of my pack to scout and keep watch, make sure everything is safe. Help clear some space." Felicia spoke her voice not really irritated but disinterested. She lounged in a seat. There was no way she would seem threatened by this shadow hunter even though she knew she was walking on thin ice. She already had one very powerful shadow hunter out for her head. She really didn't need more. What she did need however was safety from the first till she could settle her pack. Things were still too up in the air right now with all of it to be confident. Resting her eyes on Clarity Felicia then spoke up again. "I suppose I owe you some gratitude for this, though only a little. Also I am impressed with how you put up with these two. All the threats and brash anger. Perhaps it is just names beginning with A that do that? Huh. Who knows." Felicia spoke to the other woman.
Felicia inclined her head towards Athelrick as he spoke. At least he was trying to be sensible and go for the no violence approach too, ready to talk something out. That was a good sign so far. However that didn't last long when a certain high and mighty Shadow Hunter decided to open his big mouth. "Ignorant? I don't think so sweetie. Do you really think it is the smartest idea to challenge or even insult the alpha of New York in front of her entire pack? You are lucky I don't look for blood, you may have lost your life there for that comment." Felicia replied carelessly. He then went on about how it was her fault they were all damned because she took up residence for a couple hours. Even if something happened it would be her head on the stake, not everyone alive's, and she was not going to die too easily. "Trust me, this is not the tipping point. I don't know what is going on with you and your little puppet master but my doing is far from the biggest concern. If that was all The Inquisitor would return, try to take my head and it would all be over and done with. Though you are acting like it is far more. What is going on then? Why are you so convinced for blaming all your problems on me. Did the big scary shadow hunter get in a fight with someone?" Felicia said making a pouty face. Of course Clarity had to show up to add to the situation. This only would prove to make things more interesting. Whether that was a good or bad thing had yet to be seen. At least she calmed Alarick down slightly and on top of that forced him to at least talk things through. "I don't know, would a lovely couple end with one killing the other in the end? If that is the case then we would make a lovely couple indeed." Felicia responded in a sarcastic tone before following Clarity inside. The words the Inquisitor spoke sounded sweet, inviting. A way to rid herself of her sins. She would be able to walk free again and protect those she cared about.... But if she did this then there would be no one left that she cared about. She would have turned her back on them and they would be serving punishment while she would be walking free, free but alone. "N-no.... No I won't join you." Roxanne stated, still not looking at anyone. "I won't turn on the people I care about. You can't make me." She told Corvo as she moaned and curled up the best she could. It was so hard to keep her mind calm right now and it was driving her insane. "I won't betray them. I won't do anything to hurt them. I am not a complete failure. I won't fail them too! He won't win." Roxanne had begun yelling at the voices in her mind instead of facing what was in front of her. She couldn't face it and it only made the voices worse, giving them attention to torment her. She trembled on the table just wishing and waiting for silence. That was all she wanted, a little silence to calm her nerves. However the likelihood of that happening was slim.
Felicia couldn't help but roll her eyes at the sarcasm dripping from Clarity's words. This girl really was a handful when push came to shove. Now that she was not as injured, she was more sarcastic than ever. There was a part of it that Felicia admired, but part of it that she hated. It could be quite annoying to deal with some times. Of course she only came for her knives as well, not that Felicia needed the thanks or loyalty of one Ifrit when she control most of the wolves in New York now. Felicia listened as Clarity turned back to her before leaving, for once there was no sarcastic tone to her voice, that was new. "Listen, do you really think I am stupid enough to take this place for my home permanently? Do you think I am that stupid girl? The only reason I hold my position is for the safety of you and your little friend until I can deal with the inquisitor. Right now my little story is keeping him from torturing you for information about what you were doing here and finding out to go after that shadow hunter of yours. Though I suppose it isn't you I need to explain this to." Felicia stated as she got up and exited the room herself. At a snap of her fingers the two wolves who had originally followed her in to save Clarity the first time were at her back. She soon found herself strolling out of the institute to face those she had taken it from. Perhaps if they see the situation they would let them stay until the inquisitor was dealt with, or at least set up more solid protection for all parties involved. For now this was the best she could do. Felicia approached the small group of people standing outside. "So I suppose you are the shadow hunters that Clarity claimed to be here and angry. Listen I look for no war. Just borrowing what I need to keep a cover story to keep Clarity, and him safe." Felicia stated as she indicated to Athelrick. She didn't touch any of her knives, there was no use to become much of a threat to them yet. If they could talk it out, that would be much preferred. Even as the Rune's of pain were removed from the body, Roxanne still lay there sobbing. The mental turmoil that she was going through was as bad as the physical one that she had just been through a moment before. She was done talking, but that didn't seem like an option. The Inquisitor had asked her a question and implied that if she didn't answer that he would cause her more pain. Although at this point she was sure someone would have a way of finding out what she did without her telling them anyways. At this point it was not worth trying to deny it, it wouldn't make her situation any better. Roxanne tried to stifle her cries as she finally went to speak, what laws she had broken. Perhaps if she tried to explain properly then they wouldn't punish her as bad. "I-I-I w-well.... So much has happened recently I was struggling keeping a grip on things.... I-I was looking for routine, but I didn't want to face Brianne to get a proper assignment. I-I don't know what I was thinking. I just went to look for someone who seemed like he would be on the list. Just do a job. I-I just needed familiarity." Roxanne explained with a shaky voice. She closed her eyes and turned her face away from everything trying to quiet the thoughts in her head telling her how stupid she was and how she couldn't help anyone now that she had done this. She couldn't stop Slavko from tormenting anyone else and she couldn't get her sister back. "I also defied one of the Claves orders. I-I wasn't supposed to go anywhere without supervision. I-I broke his rules too. I-I'm sorry. I had to get away." Roxanne admitted. She didn't know why she was spilling her guts to him, except perhaps to make sure that there was no more pain for her. Even if they locked her up at least she would be alone for a little while, and that was something she needed right now. As it seemed there was more reinforcements outside, one of which had a gun. The shots in his shoulder forced him to drop the weapon that he was holding. In this time Nick was able to knock him out, throwing everything into darkness. They hadn't killed him clearly, he had not returned to hell where he belonged, instead darkness remained his friend for a long while. When Slavko finally woke up, he found himself in a cell. He glanced around it, assessing for a way out, but by the sound of Nick's words before he was knocked out, it sounded like these people already had an idea of how to deal with Demons. They were not going to let him go easily. That was okay, it wasn't like he was in a rush to be anywhere. "Whats up doc?" Slavko said as he lay eyes on the man in the window. "I can see that you are making a mild attempt to intimidate me in a way, but it won't work. I am hundreds of years old and have died countless times. Yet here I am, always coming back. So do your worse, I dare you. I bet it won't be something I haven't already been through."
The second rune that was drawn on her skin made things just that much worse. Tears came to Roxanne's eyes as she whimpered more. She thrashed around more as she tried to escape the pain and escape what was keeping her bound. That she knew wasn't possible without Corvo removing the runes from her, but still she hoped. She just needed to escape the pain. She didn't want to give him the password because she didn't want him seeing all the private things on her phone, but it was only going to get worse from here. "6.... 5..." Roxanne swallowed hard as she tried to curl up more on the table. She was shaking really badly, but not because of the pain, but the though of giving up access to everything she held onto to do with her fiance. "....9...." She continued, her mind jumped to memories with her fiance, but then to his blood on her hands as he smiled a crooked smile, because it wasn't him but a demon. She let out a sob as she tried to find the words to tell him the last number. "...2...." She finally got out. "Now just let me go. Please!" She begged. She just wanted to run and hide and try to forget, forget it all. There was only so much her broken mind could handle.
With Quint looking over her shoulder Yvette felt the extra pressure to do things right. She was confident in herself when people were not looking over her shoulder. When they were it could make her a littler nervous at times. That being said she still didn't plan to mess anything up, she knew what she was doing perfectly well. Everything would be fine, she just had to assure herself of that. Yvette relaxed her shoulders slightly when the man told her there was no need for formalities. He seemed like a pretty relaxed person, that was good. It made her feel a little more comfortable. "Okay Quint, I think I can manage that." She responded to his request not to speak to him formally. As he looked over at the other console, Yvette sat back down in her seat reexamining her controls as he started talking to her once more. "This isn't my first flight, it is about my fourth, but it is the first time flying on something this big. I am amazed by the size of it, but it isn't anything I can't handle. After all I grew up flying, it is in my blood." Yvette trailed off thinking back to when she got to fly free on her home world. It didn't happen as much as she liked, but the feeling of flying in the open air was something she missed. She enjoyed being in the cockpit or on the bridge in charge of a large ship, but just flying herself on her own wings, it was better than all that. However is she stayed there, she couldn't just fly free. There was always guards around and people trying to protect her so she wouldn't get hurt, like she was some sort of prize. There was not enough freedom in that life. And though she would have to return to it eventually, she would enjoy the time she had here. Her thoughts were broken when another woman approached. Yvette stood and saluted this woman as well. When she introduced herself it turned out she was a commander. As intimidated as Yvette should have felt by this, she didn't feel that intimidated, no more than with anyone else. "Ensign Yvette Grear Commander. Everything is to liking Commander." Yvette responded as she stood up perfectly straight and held her salute out of respect for her position. She remained in that position until given permission to do anything else from the Commander. Respect was of the utmost importance here and she was sure to remember that. She had been taught that enough at home, but she was always on the other end of the spectrum, being expected to demand respect. It wasn't something she was totally thrilled to have to do, that was part of the reason that she was happy being here instead of at home.
Tatiana entered when she was given permission to do so. Her steps were timid as she entered the room and took a seat like Vecelav had suggested that she do. She had her feet crossed on the chair and her hands folded in her lap. Her eyes were downcast and focused only on her hands. She didn't know what to expect from this conversation, but by the tone that Veera had spoken to her in early, she imagined it was nothing good. Veceslav began to speak and about something him and Veera apparently discussed, but Tatiana had difficulties wrapping her mind around it. "But why me? I mean I am nothing like my brother. I am not strong, I am not knowledgeable about weapons, I am not that intelligent in general. My brother has those qualities not me." She stated, not knowing what else to say, however then another thought came to her mind. "If I did become one would it help with the confusion? It happened because I took something made for witchers didn't it? Or maybe not... I can't remember properly. Perhaps I am mistaken... or... I don't know." Tatiana rubbed her eyes with the heel of her hands again. "Is it possible it will make it, and the pains stop?" Tatiana shuttered at the thought of the pains she had been getting. Then she remembered that Veceslav said there was two things that they needed to talk about. "And what is the second thing?" She asked as she glanced down at her hands once more. Terra took the apple gratefully, it had been a while since she ate. The last meal that she made, she skipped so there was enough food for Sarah and Zephyr. She took a bite of the apple only then realizing how hungry she really was. She had forgotten about her hunger in everything that happened. She made short work of the apple then shifted her weight forward on her bed, almost testing putting weight on her feet without actually standing. She wanted to stand and walk around so much, but she wasn't sure if she could yet. "Thank you, for the food. I am sorry but can you just give me a hand getting to my feet without irritating the stitches more. It is harder than I thought it might be." She requested. She didn't like asking for help but slowly she was learning that sometimes she needed it. Eric had always tried to get that through her head but she still struggled sometimes with that concept. They would hang her... If Matilda found him by some miracle, they would hang her right beside him. He couldn't let that happen. The guard gave him a choice to get out, but to get out, it would ruin the guards life. Was it worth it though? He had no other choice. It was this drunk man, or his family. Taking the key from the guard Talon gave him a nod. "If you get out of here go to the business district. Go to the blacksmith and tell the man in there that you helped the hawk and he is returning the favour. Then tell him that the hawk and the snake were once friends then the snake turned to iron and now allies they remain but friends they are not." Talon told the guard codes that he used to communicate to with other safe houses around town. "He will get you out." Talon told him. He owed the guard a favour. With that he unlocked the door and started trying to sneak out the dungeons. He needed to get back to his family and get them out. His family was well enough known that if Archon chose to pursue his escape then they would know to look at his house. But at the same time could he really afford to just up and leave the city, everything that his parents had worked for, and everything that Matilda had created for herself. What would they do then? Where would they go? This would all be messed up. Why did he have to try and be a good person? Why did he have to go to help someone out. Perhaps he did have one too many drinks, but he didn't think so. He wasn't drunk. He knew he wasn't drunk that night. But now everything was messed up and he didn't know what to do about it. Why couldn't his parents be there to help? Why did they have to leave everything in his hands? Matilda removed the bandages from the day before. "I am not sure there is much to do to help. I suppose I just need to search the city and ask people if they have seen him and hope someone has. Though I suppose if you want to keep an eye on Gregory... Never mind that is not fair to ask. I will deal with it myself." Matilda said as she checked the stitches and began to clean the wound once again. "No we will take Gregory. You won't let us do anything else to help, but at least let us watch your little brother. He will be safe here, and we can feel like we contributed something towards you as payment for helping us out." Seth insisted. He actually really didn't like kids, like at all, but he was doing this for Tessa's sake, and also so that if something happened Greg wouldn't be left on the streets and end up living a similar life to him. By himself with no one to care for him. "I-I don't know. I am not sure." Matilda said. She was not convinced that it was a good idea yet. Matilda's hands were nearly trembling as she started re-bandaging Tessa. A tear formed in her eye as she finished off what she was doing. "I am scared and I don't know what to do. I know I should be professional here, but... I am sorry. I should leave now."
Felicia was exhausted and her shoulder was in pain, but finally challengers had stopped stepping up for the time being. They left her alone at last seeing that she could take down anyone that they threw her way. She would still fight if she had to, but fighting was one thing she didn't care to do right now. They all knew better by this point in time. Felicia sat on the floor, back pressed against the wall as she nursed her wound once again. It stung like hell and probably would do better with stitches, but she didn't care enough for that. She just needed to make sure it was clean and wrapped. As the door to the training room opened Felicia instinctively went for a knife, however she soon laid eyes on who it was. "Couldn't stay away from me? Your did your warlock friend patch you up and kick you out." Felicia asked. When it came to mentioning Ash, he tone was slightly bitter. "I highly doubt you stopped by just to say hi, so what is it that you want?" She asked Clarity knowing the girl well enough that she probably had other motives. The man's position meant nothing to Roxanne. She had no interest in who had what rule in Alicante, she simple followed the pecking order in her institute, as in Brianne's rule, and even that was only to some extent. The man going around gloating about his title didn't mean anything to her. And then there was him thinking what she said was any sort of information but he didn't under stand it, he didn't understand what she meant at all. The pain rune was drawn onto her skin and Roxanne began to squirm around in her invisible restraints as the pain grew in her leg. A small whine came from her throat as she squirmed and the inquisitor demanded answers once again, adding on a threat of more pain. He also made a comment about her breaking Accords. She hadn't thought she had, but now that she thought of it, in her desperation to escape everything she had not hunted an assigned target because that would require going to Brianne for an assignment and she couldn't bring herself to do that. On top of it she did break the order from the Clave to stick with another Shadow hunter under their supervision at all times. "I didn't mean to break the Accords." Roxanne let out another small whimper before she continued to speak. "Make it stop. I swear I didn't mean to. I-I wasn't thinking clearly." She said not sure if anyone would take that as a valid excuse. "I don't know any plans against the clave. All I know is that they are trying to keep the downworlders safe. They don't want to see them get hurt, so they gathered them. I don't know anything else. Just make it stop." She begged, still avoiding giving the passcode to her cellphone. She did not want to share that information no matter what, but she feared if the Inquisitor pushed it too much further she would have to. The another thought crossed her mind. What if this was Slavko, back to torment her? "J-just stop ruining my life!" Roxanne yelled at the inquisitor, now having it in her mind that he was her worst enemy. Slavko had honestly enjoyed himself at dinner, even with ulterior motives playing in the back of his mind. Most of the time when he tricked people, it was a one night stand, quick and meaningless, and ended up with the person dead. This time since he planned to draw out the suffering, he had time to actually enjoy himself slightly, but only slightly. As dinner came to a close Nick seemed ready to leave. Slavko was about to offer to walk him to his car when two men entered. So this was a trap all along was it? Shedding the body he had been using, Slavko stepped out and looked at the three men. "Very clever of you boy, but you think it would be that easy?" He asked as he pulled out his chain blade and with a flick of his wrist flicked it at a waitress, not killing her but injuring her and keeping her at his mercy. "Move any closer to me, and she dies. All it takes is me to pull." Slavko threatened as he slowly walked towards the girl and away from the three men, heading for his escape.
"You underestimated me again sweetie, I thought you learned by now not to do that." Amber told Drake as she gave him a quick kiss before heading back to the city. While Drake had to prepare for a lecture from Akari, Amber had to be ready for a lecture from Kala and Galadorn for running off for half the day by herself without anyone knowing where she was. They could get a little protective at times, but after what happened with her father it was almost understandable. Thinking back to her father it almost brought a tear to her eye, though her thoughts were interrupted before it did. "Oh hello Karen. It is good to see you. Are you ready to come back with us to Kaynta and help out there. It is odd not always having you around." Amber offered trying to be nice. Though when Karen mentioned them getting back to work, she took that option. As much as it would be nice to stay and chat, she had been away from the city for far too long this morning. "I really should get back. Sorry for not being able to stay and chat for longer." She told the girl before returning to the city for the rest of the afternoon. ~cue time skip to the next day~ Though yesterday had been a pleasant break it was time for Amber to get back to work. As mid morning rolled around she found herself in her office going through papers of complaints, suggestions, needs and wants of the people she ruled. Soon she would take a walk around town herself to see what needed done, but the boring paperwork had to come first. Adelina was awake and functioning, but not quite ready for the day. The kids had her up 6 times during the night so she didn't sleep all that great. However this wouldn't stop her from her daily routine. She had the kids of the floor playing while she made breakfast and coffee for herself and Zack. After breakfast she planned to take the children out for a walk, it generally put them to sleep, then perhaps she would nap herself. Part of her wondered if anything new or interesting would happen to spice up the day, but most of her feared it. If something new happened, with this city it likely meant trouble, and trouble was something that couldn't happen, not when she had to babies here. Seeing as the babies were happy playing on the floor, Adelina decided to step away from them for a second. She took a cup of coffee and sat down on the edge of her and Zack's bed, kissing him on the cheek. "Time to get up sweetie. The sun is already up, and as much as we would like to, we can't just hide away all day." Adelina said softly to try to coax Zack out of bed. ~Meanwhile back with our amazing magic users~ "I trust you are all ready to go then. I really hope you men do not mind teleporting. After all we need to get there in good time and I don't feel like sitting on a horse for hours on end and having to deal with those pesky titans." Koldo examined each person before him. They were all in good shape, which was a good thing except in Lexanders case. They needed him to look a little more beat up, he after all was the key to get them into the city. "Once Damian does the honour of making out dear intern look a little more like we really need help from those poor half breeds we will teleport about a kilometre out from the city. From there we will walk in and ask for help. Given that our intern WILL be a convincing actor they will have to be completely heartless not to let us in. From there we will start our plan. Evaluate who is the strongest. We will pick them off first. We will keep it quick and quiet, and then we will have a full on assault of the town." Koldo recapped as his friend he brought over to help get them there opened the portal for them to enter. "I suggest you hurry up and get those bruises on our intern and follow. Don't have too much fun with it, we are in a rush." Koldo told Damian before signalling to Wilkin to follow him through the portal ahead of the other two. He was going to enjoy this, very much so.
"And you kidnapping a fellow shadowhunter is any better than what I have to say?" She spit back. Probably not the smartest idea given her predicament, but she couldn't help herself. There were times that words just came from her mouth without her thinking of what she was saying, this was one of these times. Roxanne stared straight at Corvo, hate in her eyes, that was until he took her phone out. Her eyes then flicked down as she grit her teeth. There was nothing she hated more than people having her phone. "Give it back! Give it back!" She demanded. Despite the threats he was making, all she could think of is how much she didn't want him seeing things she kept hidden on her phone. The locked screen was already a picture of a cute baby girl, her little sister. The only family she had left alive, but the child was taken from her and she wasn't allowed to see her. However to Roxanne that wasn't the worst of things she kept on her phone. If accessed, the background was a picture of her previous fiance, and in her text long was a great deal of text messages she had saved from the two of them talking. In there was everything from the good mushy days, to her worst days. He talked her through all of it. She didn't want anyone to see that. It meant everything to her. She was not going to give him her password. As for the other question however... Through angry, shaky breath Roxanne tried to focus her brain enough to speak properly. "I don't know anything about the plot. I swear. I wanted no part of anything that was going on, I don't even quite understand it. I just wanted my routine back... I just needed something familiar, and you stopped even that! You b*stard." She could't keep her temper in check it seemed and she knew that was a mistake, but her mind was already breaking. She couldn't focus properly or think clearly. She thought she had started to calm herself down after the chaos of the last couple days, but that was going down hill quickly it seemed. She hadn't got full control again when all this happened, and now she was losing it.
