"Yes someone really did wreck this place. That is why we have to keep on guard and watching that whatever wrecked it doesn't come for us and this ship as well. I may be great at flying but there is only so much you can do if say the thrusters are busted or they tear out the engine. Protecting the ship is our priority not taking a nap." Yvette replied as she held her hands behind her back and stood guard over the ship keeping her eyes open. She had only brought a single Pyre with her, so if there was going to be an attack she would most likely need Alexei's help.

    How was this
boy so immature to think sleeping was okay? If he ever tried to get away with that under her father or her uncles command he would get in so much trouble. It was times like this that she missed being home and missed the respect that she had. Though she knew once she was home she would get annoyed with the attention once again. Besides if she succeeded with this than when she returned home, when her cousin was made king, she would have a place at his right hand as adviser. It was how they were able to convince her parents as well as his to let her come here. She needed the experience and ties with the coalition if she wanted to make the best adviser she could. She needed to see the worlds to help the future King decide how to deal with issues that when beyond his lands. It was too big of a risk for the prince to do anything like this, but the lesser known cousin, though still important, could get away with something like that, and for Yvette it gave her some breathing room. It gave her some distance between her and her standings and expectations. For the most part it was a win-win, though her family still wasn't happy that she could be putting herself in danger. As it stood if anything were to happen to the prince it would then be her mom, then her in line for the throne until the king had another child. However unlikely the situation it was still a worry and still important to have a back up plan if things did go south.

Roxanne had been watching from the fight and everything from the outside. Part of her wanted to step in and help but if she did, if she walked in there and got hurt, there was no one to protect inside the institute, no one to keep Brianne safe from those who hunted her. So Roxanne found herself remaining inside just watching the battle as the strange werewolf got hurt followed by Brianne's friend. Even if Roxanne was willing to go out and help, there wasn't much she could do. None of these people were Nephilim her runes would do more harm than good.

Brianne's stele slipped from her hand as Roxanne saw who approached then. The Seelie Queen hadn't waited for Corvo to do his task and instead arrived to do it herself. She could hear her telling Rhett to bring Brianne out. He better not, he better not hand her over. Then Roxannes phone buzzed in her pocket. She had not noticed it the first time but now she stood there and found the Inquisitor had found his way here as well. The situation seemed bad. Corvo claimed he wanted to talk to the people in the institute, but she didn't trust him at all. She assumed it was a trap. There was no reason that he should know that anyone was here unless he was told by someone else, by the Seelie Queen. It would make more sense that they would have assumed everyone at the safe house that they pried the location from her instead of at the institute.

    Creed had helped
Brianne out of her room and when Roxanne saw them she stepped in her path. "You have to get ready to get out and run. The Seelie Queen is here for Brianne and as is Corvo. When the barrier drops go and find somewhere to hide. I will try to keep them occupied if they haven't left first. Don't tell me where you are going because chances are they will be doing everything in their power to get that information from me. Pray to the angels that the Queen cant see you through that bowl again. Now go hide in here for the time being. Don't let them see you." Roxanne instructed, her voice a panic. She chose to ignore the texts from Corvo and walk back near the door to look out again, to see what Rhett decided. She didn't care on what he did decide anyways because she wouldn't let them have Brianne, damn the consequences to her.

Felicia was swaying a little on her feet when the Seelie Queen showed up and ended the fight. But that wasn't before Cin managed to take out Clarity. Felicia stood there helpless to do anything to save Clarity or against the Seelie Queen who had just arrived. As much as she hated to admit it, the evil woman was her best chance at saving Clarity, then Felicia can go in and save Clarity after she would live. Soon the pain and blood loss was getting too much. She fell to the ground as a whimper escaped her muzzle. Soon after she had hit the ground she had shifted back in her human form and rolled onto her back, clutching at the deep gash in her side. "When I can fight I will come for you Clary. I promise." She whispered in an airy voice.

Well at least Grayson's laughing fit allowed time for Slavko to get back to his feet and wander to the other side of the room. "Life is never fair, I make sure of that, but I do like a fair fight if not tipped in my favour. You see how that works? Everything to benefit me. Though if you keep hitting the walls at the pace you have been perhaps a piece might break off on you, or perhaps the entire room would collapse. You never know. I suppose it will be an interesting experiment to see what it takes to destroy this room. Perhaps even your obnoxious laughter would be enough. I do think I feel the floor shake a bit." Slavko commented.

The flight down was mostly uneventful except some turbulence as they were descending. It was pretty standard when going through an unknown atmosphere that you have not gone through a thousand times to hit at least a little. Yvette barely glanced back when it smoothed out to make sure everyone was okay and no one was pissed at her because they didn't understand the simple dynamics of flying and thought that she should have had the power to make their ride down smoother.

The young pilot soon had them touched down on the ground and was shutting down the shuttle while
Brianne talked. She was listening from where she sat but she wasn't looking in the commanders direction as she was in the midst of dealing with the ship. Once everything was shut down, but primed for a quick take off if one was needed, Yvette pulled out her own Pyre and checked it over quickly to make sure the safety was off and it was primed for use if need be. Since she was simply staying back at the ship, she hoped that she wouldn't need to use it, but you never knew when touching down on strange planets, especially not ones that space pirates were hovering over.

Yvette was the last to leave the ship, and when she did leave she stuck close by as per the
Commander's orders. She kept her gun in hand, ready to use, but knew that at this moment it wouldn't be necessary. When the Commander and her team were out of sight would be the time she really had to worry, but it never hurt to be on guard. Yvette's posture was perfect as she stood near unmoving, scanning her surroundings. Despite how serious she seemed however she found her wings slip out from where they were hidden after the Commander started to walk away. She didn't plan to fly anywhere but they needed to breath a bit, to stretch. She wanted to at least let the air ruffle through her feathered wings a little before they were stuck back inside again.

Amber found herself with a slight head ache as Kala reminded her of everything else that she needed to deal with. Checking up on people was as much of an excuse for fresh air as it was anything else. She just needed that time and space for a moment, but she supposed Kala was right, she had to heal with these issues first. People wondered why she hated being a princess so much, well if they knew what it was like to have to rule then perhaps they would understand why she had hated her position. Now that she had taken up the roll of queen, she did her best to fill it, but it wasn't what she wanted to do. The only reason she kept it up to the best of her ability was for the sake of her father, and her grandfather before him. She did it for the people who worked to make the city great. If she abandoned the city for her own wishes and desires she would fail her family and her entire bloodline. She would let it go to ruin for her own selfish ambitions. Amber couldn't let that happen for she cared deeply for her family though they were all gone now. She would do what she had to for her legacy, including continuing the line. There was sure to be an awkward conversation coming that night with Drake now.

"You're right, I nearly forgot." Amber said softly as she turned from the door and went back to her desk, sorting through papers organizing for her next meeting. "I wouldn't worry too much about the city behind the walls. They hate us, but they fear us enough not to act on that hate. We accomplished something they couldn't on their own. We have magic running through our veins that they do not. They aren't stupid enough to find and attack this city. As I told Veera, accept the peace for what it is, don't taunt fate." She said her voice sounding distant and shallow.

Amber shifted slightly thinking about earlier when she looked for a friend to talk to and got just another loyal citizen doing her job. Perhaps it was not the best time to talk but perhaps if she made plan.
"Kala, would you like to join me for breakfast tomorrow? Not as a guard or a Queen, just as friends, like we used to be. I could use the break for a little bit and just a friend." She said softly, not ashamed if Galadorn heard or not. It was natural to need a friend and she knew that they were working right now but perhaps if they weren't working Kala would be willing to leave her new companion and spend time just talking with her instead. That was what she hoped for at least.

Adelina was happy to hear Zack get out of bed and start getting ready. She hadn't bothered opening her eyes just yet, they needed to rest and he wasn't ready to go yet, she could tell. She was use to his morning routine enough to take a pretty good guess where he was in it at any point in time. She didn't bother opening her eyes until Zack started to speak to her. She had planned to make breakfast for them, she wanted to make breakfast for both of them, it made her feel more useful again. However not having to clean up did sound appealing.

"Here take Zarron today Zelina is closer to a nap so I may just rest a moment while you do that if that is okay. The kids have had me up for two hours already." Adelina told Zack, offering him Zarron. She had only stated one of the two reasons for giving him the child she did. She could see that he favoured Zelina, so Adelina always gave Zarron that little extra bit of love, but when they were older, she didn't want one child thinking either of them loved a sibling more. She didn't want them to make any assumptions. She would do what she could to break any bad habits now before they had the chance to grow.

It seemed that their presence had been detected as someone landed behind them. Koldo pretended not to really notice until they spoke that they landed. Poor people seemed to be trying to be so silent up until then, he would hate to ruin their fun. Koldo turned around, relief played across his face as he looked at the woman that had landed behind them. "Oh thank goodness. There are people this far away from things. I thought that we were goners for sure." Koldo spoke in a breathy panicked voice. "You have to help us miss. They, they decided the city was too full. We have been locked out, a sacrifice to lower the numbers. As far as I can tell we are the only ones to make it this far. The others, god rest their souls...." Koldo trailed off before looking over at Lexander quickly. "Please tell me there is civilization where. I don't think he can make it much further. We have barely escaped Titans one too many times now, I doubt we will be so lucky next time. Please I can pay you." Koldo fumbled around his pockets and pulled out a few coins from the wall city and held them out to Veera in a shaking hand.

He hoped that the woman would buy the act. He hoped that the others could follow along as well and make it convincing. He sent Wilkin ahead so he could make the story when they ran into civilization, but since they found them and not Wilkin, Koldo supposed that he needed to take the lead on it. It wasn't the ideal situation but he could still make it work.

They were almost there. It was so close. Karina could tell that the creature was on it's last legs it was nearing it's end. They would kill it and they would kill it soon. Karina didn't have patience to deal with this thing any longer. This entire situation start to just feel more ridiculous than it should. It would come to an end though, and it would come to an end soon at her hands. With that in mind Karina ran at the monster and started yet another combo on it.

"A guardian? Ha, you can go to hell. If you were a guardian you would have done some other than clap when I got shot and arrested." Talon retorted to Xross.
"Greg close your eyes." Matilda quietly instructed as she took her bow from her shoulder, notched an arrow and aimed it at Xross. "I don't believe you for one second. You are no guardian and if you encourage his arrest you are no better than them." Matilda's eyes stung with tears as she thought of the deaths she had just watched.
"Tilly put your bow down. We are branded Doppler sympathizers as it is. That is enough to get us hung. You don't want to add murderers to it." Talon said calmly trying to settle his sister down.
"This town in filled with murderers. Murderers that kill innocent people, innocent dopplers just because they can, just to make a point. They have no right to judge me!" Matilda retorted to her brother.
"But they will and they will kill you for it. Our best chance is to flee the city. We will leave this ****** behind and just go. We have to do it soon too." Talon instructed.

As Keenan entered one of the rooms something changed as the floor began to shake and the music grew louder. Keenan stayed standing but that was little accomplishment when hands came from the ground that was breaking and grabbed onto him. He tried to fight them off, tried to get them off of him but it was to no avail as more undead began to grab him and keep him in place. This was not good. He thought they stood a chance but that was looking less likely. Veera was the only one left free to move.

"So you are the b*stard mage that was spoken about. Uglier than I expected." Keenan stated when he saw another undead step forward by the mage. This undead had two distinct swords, the swords of a witcher. "Who is that? Or who was that?" Keenan demanded suddenly finding himself very tense. Was this why Veera was so tense? Was that one of their own? He didn't know but he had to find out. He had to know who it was. Once he did, he would find a way to kill the man.

Her lightning was not strong enough to stop it and she was going to die because of that. She was truly going to die as the bears jaws were inches away from her face. Terra prepared to make another attack when the bears attention was drawn away and it headed towards the distraction, throwing her to the ground as it passed. Terra's back screamed and ached with pain as she hit the ground. She could feel fresh blood seep through her shirt, but there was bigger issues than her back. The bear was heading towards Sweallow and now had him pinned. Terra put everything she had into pulling down another strike of lighting aimed directly for the bears head. This had to work, it had to it was the only chance she had at saving them. If she could at least the the bear coming after her she might have a chance at charging another attack, but for now she just hoped the one attack was enough. If it wasn't perhaps a miniature hurricane over the location of the bear could convince it to flee.

Annabelle was more than happy to follow Violet to the courtyard. She was asked to destroy a pile of rocks. It was a simple enough task though using her powers Annabelle didn't have a simple solution for it. She pondered her task for a second before summoning even more rocks and creating a rock golem. She then sent the creature over to the stack of rocks which he then kicked and knocked down and scattered around the clearing. "There, all destroyed." Annabelle stated seeming particularly proud of how inventive she was when figuring out how to destroy the pile of rocks.

"So.... Want to tell us what is really going on now, before I am tempted to kill you myself." Laurentinus said, his arms crossed as he glared at Rayyad. Everyone seemed to think he was not worth listening to. Thinking he was over reacting to everything. They didn't seem to care what he had to say but now they were seeing that it didn't hurt to be overly cautious. It hurt not to be cautious enough, that was how you lost people you cared for.

    He didn't care if
Arval believed he was actually noble or not anymore. He just wanted to know what was going on. He just wanted to know everyone would be safe now, Kara would be safe. He itched to draw his sword against the man. To at least be ready to fight him right away. But that being said he still felt the others might see him going too over the top about everything, and he would rather avoid them completely shunning him. Without drawing his sword he still decided to place himself where he could act quickly. Kara and Tessa were right next to Rayyad, Tessa trying to defend it, and Kara just there to help he assumed. He still didn't want either getting hurt because of Rayyad or Arval so he was ready to defend him. He honestly had no trust for Arval either. There was as good a chance that this man set this up. After all no one could actually be as stupid as he seemed to be. It could have been an act to attract them all to the cave. But before jumping to conclusions he would let Rayyad speak.

Despite the damage she had done, it was not enough, he had not dropped the sword like she had hoped. Even more, Cinaed had been able to blind her with light, her more sensitive eyes not liking the light too well. She clamped down harder, one last attempt to make Cinaed drop his sword. Instead he swung it at Clarity, her teeth too deep in the metal to release instantly, made it so that she went flying with his arm. She was able to let go which sent her flying, but she wasn't able to let go quick enough. Cinaed's sword came down and caught her in the side, providing a pretty deep gash.

Hitting the ground Felicia had landed on her side. Blood oozed from her other side where a deep gash now resided. She hadn't realized until she hit the ground out of breath, how loud she had yelped. This was not the end of the battle for the female wolf however. She pushed herself up and stood on four, slightly shaky legs. She bared her teeth and growled at
Cinaed, this was not over yet. Even as blood pooled under her, she was not going to give up quite yet. She would not let him win, she would not let him have them.

It took a moment to get moving properly but she started to walk once more, moving closer to
Cinaed. Once again she would wait till he wasn't paying attention and attack, though this time she would assure to get out more quickly. Maybe even attack with Rhett or Clarity in some sort of team attack, if that was possible without ever training with each other. Soon there would have to be an opening to attack, it would just take patients and time, time she didn't necessarily have before the pain and blood loss became too much.

The look that the Commander gave her made Yvette uncomfortable, but she couldn't quite figure out what about the look made her uncomfortable. Yvette shrugged it off, it didn't matter too much, it wasn't like knowing or not knowing would change much. She was used to getting weird looks from people, but generally that was for entirely different reasons. Usually either people trying to figure out if she was what they thought she was, or disapproving of something she was doing. She hoped to all gods out there that in this point it wasn't the first of those here.

Yvette listened closely to what they were to expect. She wasn't sure how she felt about it but in the end, she figured her best bet was to keep in the middle of everyone. She wasn't there to do the fighting after all. She was there to get them in and out. She would be able to out maneuver the space pirates without too much issue, she was sure, so that was what she would focus on. That being said she was still glad to have her pyre at her side, just in case.

It didn't take long to reach the shuttle, and when they did Yvette returned to her post at a pilot seat, right where she belonged. While all the others got in the shuttle she began to start it up and do the standard check ups, make sure everything was good to go. She knew this was all done before the ship took off. If there was an emergency evacuation, they wouldn't have time to do these sorts of checks. Even still Yvette felt better doing it herself when she had the time to. There was no harm in it after all.

Waiting until everyone was buckled up and ready to go, Yvette started the engine at full blast and brought the shuttle away from the ship. By the way the AI had spoke not long before, she knew that she couldn't take her time with this. Yvette had to be as quick as she could bring the shuttle down while still being safe. She wouldn't let the blame lay on her if they didn't get this creature that they were supposed to retrieve from this planet.

Matilda stood there too stunned to speak or move. She had not expected Tessa to explode on her as she had. She didn't think the girl would react so harshly to her trying to keep herself from getting more injured. She simply wanted to help them, she had meant no harm. Her eyes prickled with tears, but she refused to let them flow as she watched both Tessa and Seth, along with Adolin walk away and leave her by herself. She supposed she said she would go off on her own anyways, so it shouldn't hurt so much, but still despite only knowing the pair for a couple days, it almost felt like losing a friend.

Matilda turned to quietly walk away, and as she moved she thought about what Tessa had said. She said that she didn't have a human family. If not that then what? The realization hit Matilda all at once. The girl was a doppler, her companions likely were as well if that was the case. She was so worked up cause they were in danger, all their kind. Didn't Tessa realize she would have helped get as many dopplers out as she could have. Her and her brother were actively involved with an organization that smuggled innocent people out of danger, no matter their race.

It was too late to do anything about it now. Matilda had to continue looking for her brother. That being said, stopping by her brothers friends house first would still be a good idea. Perhaps he knew something, or at least watch Gregory for a little while. Matilda made her way straight to the iron forge of a blacksmith in town. She kept her head held high as she entered, making sure to look like a noble woman just looking for a small dagger to protect herself. She reached near the back and was greeted by an older man. He had a grim look on his face as he brought her into the back room and started to explain the situation to Matilda. Talon had been there and he had said he was going the place where they played as children. Matilda thanked him and then left, her bow firmly on her shoulder, and a new cloak on, provided by her friend.

Matilda made her way through the streets until she reached the river that her brother and her used to play at often. She walked around a bit before heading towards the bridge, after making sure no one was watching. As she reached it she noticed not one, but two people. Her brother and some other man. Her brother was seated holding his shoulder as a blood stain could be seen through his shirt. "Greg stay here!" She ordered her brother as she rushed towards Talon. "What the hell have you gotten yourself into?" Her voice was slightly angry, but more sad and worried. "Who are you?" She then asked Xross, hoping he was not some undercover guard or some crap like that.
What was he getting dragged into? What the hell was he getting dragged into? Why was he going along with this? Well he knew why, it was because of the beautiful girl that was reaching for his hand beside him. The girl who let him be a real normal person despite his mistakes. The person who made him believe that good people do exist and he had a chance to be one. So if that meant helping her with a revelation against the god damned king, then he would do it with no hesitations.

"Then lets do it, lets come up with a plan and see who we can get together and we will do this right. We won't let anyone get hurt to reach the goal, not any of our own, and not any innocents. If we kill innocent people to achieve this, then we are no better than them. Lets find a place to sit down and make an actual plan okay. Away from the public eye. Any idea where hotshot?" Seth asked Adolin.

With his attention on Clarity momentarily, Cin was not able to hit her with the swing behind him, but she had also failed to do damage to him before when she first shifted. That was okay though, she could find other ways to take the guy out. She would do whatever she could to protect her pack. After dodging out of the way of Cin's attack she was about to go in for another attack but Rhett had shown up and there seemed to be some sort of shield up. She took a step back giving herself room to launch, waiting for the moment that she could attack the most efficiently.

The barrier broke but as it did,
Cinaed had jumped back and was now facing him. Soon after his sword was also on fire. The power of it was a little terrifying, but she was not about to run away, tail between her legs. Felicia began to slowly circle Cinaed, waiting patiently for the moment he turned his attention to the others. As soon as it at least seemed that his eyes were not on her, she launched herself at him, aiming for his arm for the time being, hoping to cause him to drop the flaming weapon, from there she would perhaps try for a death blow, but she had to try to make sure she was safe to do so.

"I am the unintelligent one you say? This coming from the man who contradicts himself. It seems that you can't even keep track of your own taunts." Slavko retorted. "Besides there is a difference between demons who fight and demons who make your life a living hell until you break down. I am not much of a fighter and I don't have a weapon, you see how this is just a little unfair?" He asked as he avoided the punch and the knee to the stomach with some difficulty. However for all of that he was not quick enough to avoid when Grayson grabbed his wrist. The demon was unprepared as he was tossed onto his back and winded slightly. Even still he rolled backwards right after he landed and tried to get his feet back under him, ready for whatever is next.

Anthea kept herself small and quiet as she followed through the keep to the stone door. She was intrigued by the patters on it. She caught herself zoned out looking at them, that was until a voice on the other side of the door made her jump. Anthea brought her eyes off the designs carved in the wall to look at Aston as he spoke. He requested that they get the book that was laying on the ground nearby, looking for some information.

Anthea did as was requested and shuffled over to get the book. She did her best not to look at the body it was beside, or any of the other bodies around. They had to get this right so they wouldn't end up like these poor souls.
"Are you sure the book will have the right answers?" Anthea asked quietly as she brought it over. "It seems that whatever answers he got from it, got him killed." Anthea stated as she glance over at the body quickly. "I wonder..." Anthea started to ponder a thought about using another talent of hers to help them here, then she stopped. It might work, but it would likely get them all killed instead. She wasn't going to risk it. "Never mind." She said even more softly then she spoke about wondering.

As Rose had exited the roll an arrow pierced her side. This however didn't stop Rose, the pain was manageable. Instead she drew another sword that she had strapped to her side from the guards, holding it in her injured hand. She it all hurt like hell to fight like this, but it was what she was best at and would cause the quickest result, that being Carissa dying or retreating. The woman had put more space between them like a good little archer would, but that didn't bother Rose, she could deal with that. However Rose did cringe as she heard Teliana get to her feet and start yelling. The damn girl could barely stand. As much as Rose wanted to yell at her, the sound would only make it easier to identify where she currently was with her chameleon form activated. That being said the blood that now dripped from her side also pointed that out pretty well, as when in stopped making contact with her body and hit the sand, it stopped blending in. This meant Rose couldn't stay still at any point of this fight if she wanted to make it a little harder on Carissa.

Don't fail me now Jayce. Rose silently prayed, hoping that the Demi-God would soon be at her side helping her. With that prayer said, it was time to step into action once more. Rose made sure her movements were quick and random as she dashed forward in odd patterns in order to not give Carissa a clear shot of her while she closed the gap. Even with her random movements, she was quick enough that one could not retreat fast enough without turning their back to her. The terrain favoured her, not giving Carissa much room to hide out somewhere to far out of Rose's line of sight. When she managed to close the distance, Rose engaged using both swords, slashing in opposite directions as she tried to keep herself moving as well. She had to keep that attention on her as well as defeat them. She would not let them take Teliana.

With the help of Hikaru, Karina had another extra burst of strength, unfortunately however, her body still was not ready to handle another use of Zantetsukin just yet, that left Karina with very few options unfortunately. She wished that she could use this extra burst of strength to do a lot more than she was going to do. Karina rushed forward, her knuckles turning white as she gripped the keyblade so hard. Karina began to hack and slash at the Shadow blot, over and over again she hit it until she was out of breath. Karina stepped back away from it, giving a small nod at the others to go nuts on the thing. They needed to kill it before it could do any more damage to any of them.

Approaching the castle Keenan drew his Silver sword just in case. He held it in front of him as he quietly stepped forward, following close behind Veera and making sure to keep an eye on her back. Is breath was steady despite the creepy feeling this place was giving him. Whatever was going on here, whatever Crow was having Veera do, or however that was working, it was not safe. Even with two of them there, he still didn't feel like they would have a handle on the situation.

The table was set ready to eat, but no one could be seen. A trap most likely, this mage was expecting them most likely. Keenan made sure to be extra vigilant while they moved around the castle of sorts. Each new area they reached he tried to search for the source of the piano that was echoing through the residence, with no luck. Their breaths and that piano were the only things heard, but even still it seemed impossible to track it down. With that being said it only made Keenan more wary. He stayed close to
Veera, always watching her back as so they wouldn't get attacked from behind. If something was coming to kill them, at least one of them would see it before it was too late.

As the bear smashed against the barrier, Terra's magic shuttered against the force. This was certainly the battle of the bear and the maiden fair. Unable to hold both spells much longer, the storm that had started above the bear had come to an abrupt halt and the barrier strengthened slightly. Still if the bear kept pounding on it, it wouldn't last long. "When this barrier comes down, you are going to run and find shelter. I will deal with the bear. Ready? Go!" As Terra was giving her orders, she was charging a spell. As she told Sweallow to go, the barrier collapsed but all the magic from it poured into her other spell as she released it. A huge blast of concentrated energy bust forth at the bear. This move left Terra a little tired and out of it. She swayed slightly but stayed upright as she prepared for the possibility of needing another couple spells to finish it off. After that she knew that she would be out of commission for a little bit, there was only so much magic energy that she could use at once, and maintaining two spells took a lot out of her. Though she had always managed to find enough energy to get herself out of a sticky situation, after that though it was never a fun time.

"Go fuck yourself." Rose replied to the demand as she stood up and turned to face Carissa. Her hand might still not be functioning as well as it could, but that didn't mean that Rose couldn't fight with her other one. "You may have gotten lucky last time, but you will not take me or her now." Rose spoke in a way that showed her confidence as she tripped the sword that she had taken from one of the guards just a little tighter. Her body rippled as it blended in with its surroundings. When she moved quickly she wasn't perfectly invisible, her ability couldn't keep up with matching what was around her, but it still made it easier to hide slightly and fight when it was harder to track her.

Rose needed to keep herself in between
Teliana and Carissa so it took some of her more fancy attacks out of the question, however Carissa was generally long ranged, so as soon as she was close, injured or not, the fight should be easy. Rose started by doing a roll towards Carissa, keeping herself a small low target while she closed the distance. She had to bite her tongue to keep her from making a sound due to the pressure she ended up putting on her injured hand. As she came out of the roll Rose went for an attack to Carissa's legs before trying to stand at full height again. If she could get Carissa down that would be good. If nothing else Rose needed to break the crossbow or get it for herself so she could get Teliana out of there without worry of arrows flying at her back. Rose didn't know how she might carry the girl given the condition of her hand, but she would find a way, she always did.

The fight quickly turned south for Felicia. She couldn't get her sword out from under Cin's foot, so she was forced to drop it as Cin began his on slaughter of punches. She was forced to take the first couple but as she did she reached to her side for one of her throwing knives. She brought it up and went to stab Cin in the side as he punched her int he stomach. Despite the pain Felicia started yelling over her shoulder at Rhett. "Get them inside right now. Don't worry about me!" She yelled at him.

Out of the corner of her eye, Felicia caught another movement,
Clarity was running in to help her. Part of her was relieved and part not, seeing as she was running into danger once more. Her entire face hurt however, so she couldn't much argue. With the slight distraction from Clarity, Felicia took that moment as a chance to shift into wolf form to fight for a little while.

As soon as she sifted, her sharp teeth snapped at
Cinaed's hand, stop the punches by taking his hands out. Hopefully all this was enough to convince Rhett to leave her and get his wolves into safety along side hers. She didn't have any obligation to them at the moment, but one day she dreamed of being their alpha too, so she had to do what she could to save them, no matter what the cost. Between her and Clarity, she hoped they could at least drive Cinaed away. She was fast, that was how she always trained to be. It didn't matter how strong you were if you were too slow to accomplish anything, so she found strength in speed. With Clarity having a similar style to her, she doubted that Cin could keep up and block both of them. Hopefully that was enough to ensure their lives for the time being.

The moment still felt tense as Clarity had not returned yet, or showed any sign of wanting back in. Roxanne continued her flips and tricks to clear her mind. She wanted to entertain the others, but they didn't seem too interested in what she was doing, so she was just doing it for herself at this point. One move after another, she lost herself in a routine that she had practiced, day in and day out for a year to perfect it.

She finally finished her little bit and stopped moving, her wet hair finally coming to rest on her shoulder. She was breathing heavy but she felt a little refreshed. She glanced over at
Creed and Brianne who seemed to be having their own little moment. Roxanne took that as a sign to leave them alone and found herself wandering towards the entry, waiting for a sign that Clarity was safe and needed in soon.

Slavko had his hands in his pocket as he watched the wolf come towards him and swing a punch at him. The first one he simply stepped out of the path of, like it was no big deal in the slightest. When the wolf kicked sand at him and went for another swing, Slavko simple removed his hand from his pocket and brought his arm up to block the punch in an equally as lazy manner. Slavko yawned before walking away from Grayson a little bit. "Take all the time you want. I only have forever. I doubt you have as long of a life span. Take your time, but remember no matter how quick or slow you are, I will outlast you every time. I am in no rush." Slavko responded before shoving his hand back in his pocket.

Kala refused to take a seat and Amber took little comfort in her words. They were a comfort yes but lacked any joking matter or ferocity that she wanted. Kala didn't turn it into a challenge or make it into something funny to help Amber feel better, she responded in a way that most people would expect you to respond in. Not like a real friend would respond, just a script. "No what, forget talking. I am going to take a walk around the city and make sure everyone is on point with their jobs like I know they will be. See if there is any rearranging of people we could do to ensure our defenses better while still having the city running smoothly." Amber said as she stood. If she could she would assign Galadorn and Kala to the scout or the warrior regiment and help there where it was needed, but they would never agree to that. She was the queen with no heir, if something like what happened to her father happened to her, than the city was left without a leader, so their current leader needed to be guarded. Or at least that seemed like the reason behind this annoying mess. Amber found her hand resting on her stomach as she wondered if ti was about time to have a child. However that would mean there would be no hunting or training for a couple years until the baby was born and then old enough to be left with a baby sitter for a few hours or an entire afternoon. Amber was not quite sure if she was ready for that yet, but she did know it would have to come... eventually.

Adelina let out a sigh as Zack still refused to get up. "She wouldn't need to watch them till late morning, almost afternoon. By the time you finally drag your butt out of bed I will have to feed them once more and then after burping and changing them, take them for a walk to put them to sleep before even thinking of asking Tessa. She probably has three hours still, but if it seems to be a problem then perhaps while they nap, we could too, and you can be reunited with your one true love, your bed." Adelina joke at the end. She really just wanted a day with Zack, but she supposed catching up on a bit of sleep would be good for her as well.

Finally Adelina got up off the edge of the bed, leaving the cup of coffee on the table beside
Zack. She walked out of the room and sat down cross legged on the floor in front of her kids, her wings fluttering behind her. She wondered if her children would ever grow a pair themselves. Only being half fairy it was unknown what sort of things they would end up with from her, and what wouldn't come to pass since their father was not of fairy origin. "Well what do you say we get up off the floor and cuddle with mommy on the couch until daddy decides he is awake?" Adelina spoke to her kids as she picked them up and sat on the couch, one in each arm, her head tilted back as she rested her eyes. She could feel the kids tugging on her hair, but at this point she didn't much care. She just needed this moment of rest.

Yvette listened to the orders. So she just had to get them in and out of there, she could do that. She didn't know why the other pilot who hadn't had to do anything yet didn't get the job, but on the other hand she did love to fly, so she wouldn't complain too much about it. The danger of it made her slightly nervous, but she wouldn't say that. It wasn't like they expected her on the front lines fighting, she was the pilot, the needed her alive to get them in and out quickly. That brought a little comfort as Yvette responded to the Commanders orders. "Yes Ma'am, understood Ma'am." She responded politely before walking to one of the lockers to get a pistol out to protect herself just in case. Guns had always felt like such a lame form of defense, no fun or action in it, but they also were one of the best for self defense, so she wouldn't complain.

    The
Commander gave time for questions, and while the others asked some, Yvette responded with a simple "no questions ma'am." As soon as Yvette got her gun properly fastened to her side, she held her hands behind her back once more awaiting the time they board the shuttle to head down. Part of Yvette wondered if she would be able to fly down there, if the conditions on that planet would allow it. That being said even if they did, there was a low chance that the Commander would approve of her flying. And if they did meet resistance, then she would be a easy target floating above the rest to pick off... Though she was fast, it was only easy if they could hit her. Even still she doubted she would be allowed to fly, unfortunately.
