It seems her words did more harm than good in a way. However in some ways she could still protect them. In the end, after the insults and discussion he had agreed to help them, but at one cost. If they left her there. Roxanne wanted to help them, wanted to protect them, but being left here, alone, it scared her. However Roxanne didn't say a word. She refused to make things worse or fight against her own death. She brought this upon herself she realized. She had thought she was capable of joining the shadow hunters and living a normal life among them, despite how disconnected she felt from herself. Despite the constant fog in her brain, and this is where it got her. Hendrick was the first to speak, and although she understood, his words still hurt, a lot. She had faith that he would be the one to help her and be by her side. He would be like family to her since he was the one who came for her when no one else did. He never yelled at her. He seemed to understand her, and now he was the first to speak to turn her over, because in the end her life meant nothing, and some small part of her knew it too. But in the end the choice was up to Corvo. Roxanne trusted Corvo the least given how they met the first time here, and yet her life was in his hands. The even more surprising thing was that he was the one to stand up for her life. She wasn't sure if it was for her sake or the sake of the dwindling amount of shadow hunters. They were a small group to start and now Brianne was a werewolf, and her life was hanging on the balance. It didn't seem to be good for anyone. But Roxanne didn't care who's sake it was for, she was ready to accept her fate, no matter how hard it was. No matter how much her hand shook as she held them folded in front of her. She wasn't going to say anything else to save or condemn herself because last time she spoke it seemed to make things worse. Whatever was to come, would come. There was nothing she could say or do to stop it, because she was just a small broken nephilim with nothing to offer except the ability to kill, and even that was done in a not acceptable way, due to her stupid brain.
"But why would you need to enter the battle field much at all? If people respect you, wouldn't they be willing to fight for you while you can plan and organize from somewhere safe, like here... with me." Annabelle responds. With all this talk about war, she started to grow nervous that she was going to lose another parent like figure and be left all alone again. If that happened, she wasn't so sure that she would be so fortunate to find someone take care of her. Of all the people who could have been at the door, and Matilda caught the sound of Tessa's voice. And of course she had locked herself in there room in order to avoid the guests. Well this was no good. Matilda got up and left the room, eyes glued to the floor as she wandered the halls like she was looking for something that she lost, all the while avoiding the main route to the bedroom, hopefully avoiding Tessa and Seth. When Terra stumbled out of the portal, into a shadowy corner, she found herself someplace that she had only been once, in long past. The city of the Golden Towers, the capital of Nilfgaard. In her youth Terra had come here once on an undercover operation. She had destroyed some stuff, stolen some riches. Simple things like that the people she was working for had her doing at the time. Far below her skill level but they were running short on funds and the Nilfgaardians were too busy with their conquest to notice her before it was too late. It had been a good seventy years since she had been here last, it had changed a bit, and so had she. Stepping from the shadows, Terra didn't feel afraid to walk the town. She had kept her identity hidden when she had attacked all that time ago, and if someone had seen her, they would most likely have passed away by now. The one advantage of being a mage, you outlive your enemies most of the time. Terra's back was still killing her as she walked, but it wasn't as bad as it had been, and there was less chances of it starting bleeding again. The stitches had helped, but as she rested, her magic did some work clotting the blood and slowly starting the healing process. Thanks to how long she went without using magic, followed by two large bursts of it, her body didn't have enough magic running under her skin to mend the wound fully, but she could take what she could get. Terra did suppose that of all the places she could have landed, this was a good place. Chances were the people who attacked her would stay within Novigrad's territory, or no farther than Velen. She doubted they would think that she ran to the Nilfgaardian or dare chase her there. Then again she only had a slight idea or guess who these people attacking her were. So she couldn't entirely guess where they would or wouldn't chase her to. That being said she wasn't going to cower in fear. She was sick of hiding inside. Right now she was going to find an herbalist, deal with this pain, and then find somewhere to train and bring herself back to her former glory so she could at least protect herself.
No just America Canada spells it colour, or at least the cool parts of Canada
Lukas started to laugh more as Ivy freaked out on them and accused Alec of being in on it. He was going to speak up and tell her that Alec didn't have anything to do with it, but that might get Alec further into her good books than him, and he couldn't let that happen. If he was going down Alec was going to come with him. "I can't believe you thought I was your doctor. That is great." Lukas said as he calmed his laughing slightly. He was soon wiping a tear drop from his eye but besides that calm once more as Ivy yelled at them about harassing patients. "Hey I wouldn't call it harassing. I would just say having a good time with. There is a difference." Lukas pointed out. Ivy had rolled away from them slightly in her anger, but then soon seemed to calm down and even agree to his offer. "I will see you tonight th-" Lukas was cut off as the nurse Ivy was calling for entered the room. He tensed up, preparing for the worst, then realized it was just Benji. The guy was such a push over. "Yeah, yeah I got it. Whatever." Lukas waved off Benji as he went to leave the room, following after Alec. However he stopped before he left and turned back to Ivy. "See you later sweet cheeks." He gave her a wink and left the room, patting Benji on the shoulder as he left. "Try not to scare the girl too much." He told him. Back in the hallway, he noticed Alec waiting for him across the hall. "See that Alec, that is how you score a girl. Hope you were watching because I am sure you could learn a thing or two." There was a cocky smile across Lukas' face as he faced his friend. He had not thought that his attempt at picking up a girl would work, but when it did, he couldn't resist gloating a little. However there wasn't much time for that as he heard the sound of a couple nurses around the corner. They sounded frustrated as he heard one yell his name. "Well guess it is time to run!" Lukas said as he grabbed Alec's arm and dragged him with him down the hallway and towards the stairs leading to the roof. Alec wasn't the one in trouble, but Lukas couldn't pass up the opportunity to drag him into this one as well. It never was fun getting in trouble alone, but watching someone go through the same thing as you when they didn't deserve it, well that was fun. @CrownMoksha @Shuhbooty
Karina hadn't gotten far when the Horace problem went from not her problem t something very interesting. Well perhaps interesting was the wrong word for it seeing that it was a otentially dangerous situation. That being said after everything that had happened, she was feeling confident. Even as the so called Master of Illusions knocked Hikaru to the ground, it didn't seem to really bother Karina. After a the numbers were against her, badly. There was no chance that they would lose to someone like this. However something caught her eye. Hikaru tried to finght back, but his keyblade didn't come to him. Trying and failing to summon her own keyblade, Karina grew increasingly frusterated. After failing severak times Karina turned ane punced the nearest wall, but even her punch felt weak. Her hands starte to shake as she tried t figure out whay was wrong. She felt so weak even if she shouldn't. It made no sense. Sure she was tired after everything, but that should make her this weak. Karina punched the wall again, hoping for a better result, but instead she simply ended up with a split knuckle. "What the hell is happening?!" Karina snapped, only to hear the witches explanation. After everything she worked for. After so much she put into training and perfecting her skills wth a keyblade so she could protect herself. So sh could be safe. After all that it was all one thanks to that stupid ink and that stupid book. None of this made sense. "No... It isn't possible! It can't be possible! No after ll we have done!" Karina yelld out, blood now dripping down her hand. And for the first time in a long time, she felt fear. She was afraid because sh lost any ablity she hd to protect herself. Any value she had, and was left on the run, fleeing from her home with no where to o, and now wihout the ablity to protect herself. They were a hopeless to protect theselves, and when someone had stepped up to help them, he had been turned to crystal, along with several important citizens of Disney town. Most would call them friends, but this was Karina, she didn't really have friends. Even without friends, Karina strangly sort of cared what happened to them, since they didn't seem like bad people. However it seemed as quickly as the witch appeared to them, she disappeared, taking the crystals with her. Karina was powerless to do anything, as she took Minnie as well. Mizrabel was gone, leaving the former keyblade wielders and their companions stuck without much that they could do. Karina screamed out in frusteration, annoyed at everything. Just to add insult to injury, heartless startee to appear in the square. From what Karina understood she thought that this town was supposed to be safe from the nasty creatures. While backing off slightly due to her inability to actually fight. She heard mention of simething oing wrong with the cornerstone or something. She wasn't quite sure what that was all about. Karina took off running, following the group towads the cornerstone. How they planned to fix the problem, she didn't know, but she supposed they first had to figure out what the problem was.
"Here fishy fishy." Dante coaxed as he flung the horseshoe down and bonked the zombie on the head before he pulled it back up by the wire. He did this again but this time before he could pull it back up, the Zombie grabbed it. "Woah, looks like we have got our selves a live one here Frank. It will be a tough one to rassle in don't ya think?" Dante called to on one in particular, in his best crocodile hunter voice, as he started trying to pull the zombie up so he could light it on fire himself. Oh wouldn't that be fun to watch? However the zombie's feet didn't leave the ground before he let go of the horseshoe, allowing Dante to hall it up with ease. "Ah, looks like we lost this one. Guess all that is left now is another beer and to try again." There was no more beer up on the roof like Dante wished that there was, but he could still fish without it, it just wouldn't be as fun. There was no stopping the laughter as one of the zombies that was infatuated with the burning alcohol caught itself on fire. Oh was it ever a sight to watch it scream and flail as it was burnt to a crisp because of it's own stupidity. It was for that reason he had to perfect his alcohol chucker. It would be amazing to see how many zombies he could light up at once. Dante only wished that his camera still had batteries, that he would have saved it for that day. He wanted to keep those memories in a physical form, though he supposed he had an active enough imagination to make up for it. The fun was ruined when he could smell something burning, and it didn't smell all that great either. The zombies followed it however, whatever it was, meaning there was none left for Dante to play with, well except the burnt one on the ground, but it would have nothing to use to him since it would all likely have been burnt. "And then through the smoke appeared an ang-oh wait, nope, just some d*uch bag." Dante narrated as a man approached through the smoke, coming towards him. "So that must have been who decided to throw that flaming pile of crap." Dante thought to himself as the man greeted him. Man this guy didn't like small talk. "All work and no play..." Dante jumped from the roof, landing in a crouched position, one fist on the ground and the other out the to side. Thankfully it was only a single story house, so the jump from the roof was not enough to hurt him. Dante then looked up at Nasir with a wink "...makes Jack a dull boy." He spoke in the most epic fashion he could muster. Standing up he slung an arm over Nasir's shoulder. "You need to loosen up man, relax, stop trying to sell things. Besides I don't want any of that sh- right my buzzer died.... well then.... that sucks." Dante had stopped himself midswear since he couldn't bleep it out and the world seemed to run on a sort of G setting. He had adopted the buzzer after he had been hit over the head one too many times with a purse after swearing in front of a child. Now it was just habit, and if he didn't have the buzzer he couldn't swear. "Anyways. I don't want any of that crap. I mean how am I supposed to invent while on it? Now if you were selling more booze, that would be another thing entirely. Have you ever tried to invent while drunk? It is the funniest sh- .... thing ever! Now trying to invent while high, that is just dangerous man. Your mind wanders and you could end up cutting off a finger or some other essential part!'" Dante said as he looked down worried about his man parts. "No thank you sir. I am good. But because you were such a good sport and came to pay me a visit, you get a prize. Wait here." With that Dante took off into his cabin. It was a couple minutes before he came back outside, beaming and holding up what looked like a Ferris wheel of some sort. It was made out of random crap like beer cans, slender pieces of splintering wood, like off of a log, string, lots of tape, and a pizza box. "It is a rat size Ferris wheel!" Dante announced as he shoved it at Nasir. "You see I was going to make a rat race, but I realized while I was building it, the rats would get bored. So I made that to keep them entertained. But man do you know how hard it is to get lab rats? They wanted to know all about my research and who I did it for. Isn't doing it for myself? For societies entertainment enough?! What a rip off. And since I can't go back to town until I perfect my current invention, I won't be needing to get rats for a while, so it is all yours. Have fun Jack!" @Glen
At least we aren't sending a bunch of children into a zombie apocalypse
You may want to double check your counting there Hexin XD
Rhett had not answered the text, so Felicia took the bit of a risk and drew closer to the building. He had helped her before so she didn't think he would stoop to dirty tricks to defeat her and become Alpha of her pack. Though the lack of answer did concern Felicia that something might have gone wrong. If he was in trouble, than she wasn't heartless enough to just leave him. So with that resolve, Felicia started around to the front of the apartment to see if she could get a better idea what was going on. She had not fully made it around the corner what she heard a screech. With hearing more sensitive than a mortals, Felicia was forced to stop and cover her ears, as the loud sound still rung in the air. It was one downside to being turned into a wolf. As a child she used to love being as close as possible to watch fireworks, but now thanks to her heightened hearing, she could hardly stand them. They were too loud and hurt her ears. When the scream quieted down, Felicia took things more cautiously, barely peering around the corner to see a demon standing among flames trying to get into the building. Well she supposed that was a good enough reason not to respond at all. While Felicia did wish to help with the situation, rushing in right now was foolish. If what she was told was true than Rhett was not alone but with some powerful people, that meant that hopefully they could help take care of the problem. It was best to wait and watch for now instead of getting herself more injured than she already was. Just by standing there she had messed up. She could feel Yuri's gaze on her as his quiet words echoed through the hall. Murderer... she was a murderer. That was what he had called her, and Corvo had called her guilty. She still couldn't fully comprehend what she had done wrong. Those vampires were going to hurt innocent people. Protect. She had to protect. She always had to protect, because she couldn't protect those she loved. She had become a shadow hunter so she could protect innocent people, but she couldn't manage to protect her own family. That one word echoed through her mind again and again. They weren't safe safe here and it was all her fault. She was the issue. Roxanne was trembling slightly as she stepped forward. She was terrified but she had to protect them all. "I am at fault." She started quietly as she then looked up to look at Yuri and around him. She couldn't bring herself to keep her eyes on him but they had lifted from the floor. "You have lost everything else. Protect them. If you don't die here you will be locked up anyways." A small voice in the back of her head told her, and she knew it was right. "Don't blame them for any of my actions or my being here. They... I... I broke the rules and am awaiting trial. Its just... well ..." Anxiety washed over Roxanne as she tried to reason why she was there. Tell them there was no time to return her to Alicante where they could hold her and there was no safe place here. No words came out however as she at last gazed into Yuri's eyes and knew true fear. A feeling that had be long numbed to her the moment her mind stopped processing the world how it really was, and providing a glamour for her to live under instead.
Lukas couldn't help but start to laugh when the girl got so flustered. He really wanted to continue with his joke, but this was just too funny. He couldn't keep a straight face even if he tried. He did not expect anyone to fall for that, in fact he fully expected to be slapped for trying to pull what he pulled, but here the girl was flustered trying to demand answers from him about who he really was. He glanced down at his clothing then back up at the girl unable to believe she couldn't just tell. Lukas reached up and ruffled the girls hair. "Careful, you might cause yourself to have a heart attack at this rate. Wouldn't want a beautiful thing like you dying any earlier than she has to." He told her, this time with the goal of making her more flustered. While he did want to experience sex before he died, for now this was a lot more fun. That was when Alec walked in and ruined everything. "Hey man, what do you mean again? You make it sound like I have a habit of doing it!" Lukas replied, not losing his cool too much., though he was disappointed that his fun was now over. It was also true that Lukas had done it before, he just wouldn't admit it to Ivy. He would say he did it out of curiosity, but truth be told, it was just fun to freak people out. He had time prey at people later. He broke into rooms because it was fun to see peoples reactions before the doctors or nurses had time to warn other patients about him. He did in the end have to have a little fun before he died. "Well anywho. That off is still up. Ignore the geek over here." Lukas at last said giving Ivy a wink.
"Ha! You didn't really think you could get me that easily did you?! Just watch this! Three, two one, let 'er rip!" Dante King, probably one of the most jovial people left out there. The young man was standing on the roof of a cabin that he took up residence in over the past months. He had originally borrowed his friends hunting cabin to use as a testing ground for a new invention, away from people so no one could accidentally get hurt. He was trying to throw burning bottles of booze after all... well he wasn't trying to throw them, that would be too easy. No he was working on creating a device to like the bottles and throw them for him. In early stages of this he wouldn't use actual bottles of booze but just water. Dante had brought plenty with him, plus the cabin was full of extra because who didn't like a good drink after a good hunt? Pulling the first trigger of what looked like a hand help catapult, a match spun, striking a rough piece of wood that Dante had put in just to light the match. The match hit a string that led down to the bottle of booze, acting kind of like a wick. He then pulled the other trigger that was supposed to release the bottle, but he had not been quick enough and the booze caught on fire, and lit the string that cradled the bottle on fire. This lead to that rope breaking and the burning bottle of booze falling onto the roof of the cabin, and not actually launching at the zombie like creatures below him. "Sh-Beep... Fu-beep hell. You got to be fu-beep kidding me. Gah! Ow!" Dante was cursing as he was trying to kick the burning bottle off the room, successfully lighting his pant leg on fire in the process. "Fu-Beeeeeeep bee-eeer eeeeeeeeeeeeee oooo" The buzzer that Dante had been using to beep out his own curses stopped working. "Of course, the buzzer had to break too... OW!" Too worried about the buzzer he had nearly forgotten about the fact that his pant leg was on fire. "Well nothing to do now but strip I guess." Dante shrugged as he pulled his pants off, letting the chilly winter air nip at his bare skin as he started to stomp on his pants trying to put out the flames. It was damn annoying, but what could he do? At least he had kicked the burning bottle of booze far enough away that the zombies had followed the light and weren't sitting on the ground watching him standing on the roof with no pants on. When the flames were finally out he sat there for a moment, trying to sort through his other options. He needed back in the cabin to fix his booze chucker, plus more booze before it would be useful. His supposed that he could fish with zombies with the horse shoe he had with him on the roof. It was originally going to be used as part of a pulley system for a literal rat race, but he had not finished that project when strange sick looking people began coming to the cabin door and trying to kill him. He still didn't totally understand what was going on and he didn't plan to return to the city to find out until he had perfected this project of his and wouldn't light himself on fire. With nothing better to do, and the ground not safe at the moment, Dante sat himself down on the roof and just watched the zombies lean over the burning bottle of booze and grass around it, hoping he would get to see one of them freak out as they lit themselves on fire.
Both look great, send me profiles whenever you are ready
Several doctors and nurses came and went from his room in the half hour following his outburst. Some checking on his physical health, others his mental, and others yet making sure he was still in the room and didn't try to sneak out when one person left. Lukas sat there through all of it. All the annoying tests and the IV that they had hooked up to him. He answered all the questions asked of him and did his best to prove that the tumor had not effected his brain or made him snap. That last thing he needed was to be moved to the loony ward on top of dying. That would probably be the worst way in the world to go. Dying of the brain tumor was bad enough. He would rather go out and do something fun. Finally it had quieted down, but he was still left hooked up to the damn IV, pumping him full of something or other that he really didn't know, he didn't bother asking. Another drug meant to make him "more comfortable" probably. Lukas waited until there was not a nurse in sight before he ripped it out of his arm and rolled his eyes. They still hadn't learned had they? He wouldn't be kept still by a little medicine. He was dying anyways, why did he care when it happened? He sure as hell wasn't just going to sit in his room and wait for it to happen. Besides he heard the voice of a female going past his room, a voice that he did not recognize. Lukas moved to his door and opened it a crack to watch as a girl was pushed by his room and down the hallway near by. He waited till the same nurse passed by his room again before slipping out. Soon he found himself at the door to the new patients room. Lukas didn't bother with manners, didn't bother knocking before he entered the room. "I am doctor Lukas Fraiser, welcome to hell." Lukas said in the deepest voice he could muster. If his age or words didn't give away that he wasn't actually a doctor, the hospital issued clothing certainly did. Lukas then found himself leaning against the wall opposite of the hospital bed staring at the cute girl in front of him. "So have you ever been with a real man? You have to try it at least once before you die. I volunteer as tribute." He offered with a smirk.
Over all yes I am interested in this, could be a lot of fun Magic is a common thing in this world. Yes or no? No Instead of magic, a more sci-fi method is used for gaining abilities. Possibly even illegally. Yes or no? Maybe, it could make things really interesting Set in current day(or a "near" future) or in the past(20's-40's American aesthetic)? Past Should one of those three sides be removed from the equation? Only "mafia vs cops/town" or "mafia vs rival gang"? Depends if you have enough players to make all three sides work, if you do than the three sides could be good, if not Mafia vs Rival gang Lots of realism or not? Ex: More realism requires the only viable weapons being guns, no magic, no sci-fi stuff either. For this sort of RP I could imagine more realism being better "Your idea is bad. Get a different concept." y/n? No, your idea is good, and you are already asking for input, so no complains here.
The castle was near, and while some of the workers prepared for that attack, Keenan joined the general as they rode forward closer to the castle in order to get a better look at it and all that was going on there. He didn't need to get closer to the castle to know what it looked like and such, he had been there himself. Still the vantage point he had now let him assess the situation since he had left and prepare accordingly. Though he had not expected to look over to see a small group of people approaching the castle. From what Keenan could tell, they were very much alive, meaning that they likely weren't in league with the mage inside. "No sir I have never seen those people before. From what I can tell none of them are witchers either." Keenan replied as he tried to guess who they were from a distance. Try to figure out if if they wore a uniform or showed a symbol linking them to a group. However Keenan couldn't tell anything remarkable about them, it could have been because of the distance. In the end it didn't matter as long as they were a friend, not an enemy. Seth could sense a little bit of frustration that came from Tessa, but chose not to say anything about it. He really didn't want to get into a fight with her right now. On top of that, in the end, he was only here to support. He wouldn't have gotten himself involved in this in the first place if it wasn't for the fact that he cared about Tessa. She seemed to see past the monster that he was. However that didn't mean that she would help him live a better life in which he simply settled down and not cause as much destruction. Instead she was dragging him into something that seemed to be redirecting these tendencies towards something more constructive, in some senses. Seth still didn't fully understand what all was going to happen yet. They hadn't fully made the plans, but whatever it was, it probably wasn't going to be good. "Thank you sir." Matilda said softly as she entered Sigmund's house and swiftly made her way upstairs to Tessa and Seth's room where she had left her stuff. The girl was quietly packing and checking over her things when she heard another knock at the door. Though she was nearly done with packing her things, she thought it was best to make herself scarce until whoever was at the door was dealt with. Meaning if it was one of Sigmund's friend, they were lead somewhere besides the door so she could slip out without being noticed or disturbing whatever Sigmund was doing. If it was the guards, she wasn't ready to hand herself over, so she didn't want them to spot her. So Matilda stayed in the bedroom, listening for voices to give her a signal what she should do.
Name: Dante King Nickname: Mr. Awesome (But no one calls him that) Photo ID: This Age: 27 Personality: Dante is full of himself and believes that he is the best at everything. He loves to show off and flirt with anything in a skirt. He is a very touchy sort of guy, as in he is always hugging you or hitting you or something like that. He also thinks every insult is just a light hearted joke. Brief Bio: Dante was a lackey child, his parents, rarely home. Without anyone around he found himself getting bored and trying to create new things for himself. His family never had much money so he never got too many toys. This lead to him recreating his toys and making them into something different. He wasn't good at this, but he liked to think he was. So as he grew older he made a career out of this. He managed to sell just enough of his inventions to move out, but then it went downhill and he wasn't able to sell as many. Looks good. On me the profile when you have time.
Looks good. I will get it up with the reserves and look at your profile as soon as I get off work. Feel free to join the skype chat, the link is in the first post and take a look at what is going on in the main thread. Not much has happened yet so it should be easy to jump in.
Opting to keep her moth shut the rest of the time, Roxanne stood in silence with her eyes downcast. On every side of things she was in trouble, there was no changing that fact. It was better to not say or do anything unless told to, it was the best way to keep herself out of trouble. To keep herself alive. Shut up and follow orders, she could do that. It might be hard at times, but she was sure she could manage. This time more was at stake than just being scolded or told she couldn't do missions for a while. This time, the cost of slipping up or letting her mind go off on it's own could lead to death. She had to leash things in, even if that left her feeling confused and empty. It was the safe way to go. Even if it didn't feel like she was actually there anymore, that was a price that she was willing to pay. Though her brain screamed at her to take the threat to heart and not enter the elevator, she decided to go against that part of her and stick close to those she trusted instead. After Corvo had suffocated her and nearly handed her over to Tatania last time she went off on her own, she was quite hesitant to do that again. Especially if she was left waiting by herself in the home of the vampires. That was why she chose to follow close behind Corvo, standing near him and Hendrick. Entering the courtroom her eyes shifted from the floor to the dark shadows moving across the walls. The red eyes that stared her down. It took a lot of control to keep herself from reaching for her blade. She didn't want to just go all out and kills them, but she was nervous and wanted it for self defense. That however might just provoke them more. Roxanne's hand clenched and unclenched at her side as she looked at Yuri, then back down. She did not bow to him but she did not speak to him either or let her gaze linger for too long. With everything organized, Felicia set out of the warehouse, escorted by some of Rhetts wolves. When she was done chewing out Rhett, then she would return to her pack, by that point they should be back together, but for now she had some questions. Not only about his choice in actions, but also in everything that happened. From near the end of the battle up to the point she woke up was hazy. She needed a first hand account, and one thing she did remember was sending both her and Rhetts pack inside, so they wouldn't have seen as well. She soon reached the location that Rhett was apparently at. Standing outside the apartment building she instructed one of Rhetts wolves to text him and inform him of her arrival. Felicia didn't care if he came out to talk, or if she went in, but she needed to get in first. At least she could be confident he wouldn't set a trap for her, because if he did, his wolves would soon meet their end. It wasn't that Felicia thought of them as hostages, or wanted to actually harm them, but if push came to shove, she was not going to lay down for him, so if that meant using his wolves as leverage, than so be it. Slavko stood against the wall, looking as if he was cowering away from the big scary men. Playing the part of an innocent person who got caught up in a mess she didn't want to be in. For now it was probably the best role to take until they reached Brianne. He allowed Gord do all the talking in the meantime. After all, Slavko didn't really care that much for such a direct plan. There was no way in hell that he would take the lead in it. Gord taking the lead didn't seem to go too well for them. Slavko noticed Hestia's anger, moments before flames wrapped around him. As the human body he possessed started to burn first, Slavko smiled as he let go of it. He couldn't escape the flames, but the twisted male actually enjoyed the pain as it bit down on him. It made him feel more alive. "In our next lives, don't come looking for me again. I might have to murder you myself if you do." Slavko grinned at Gord as the flames slowly claimed him. Slavko laughed slightly as death claimed him, letting the sound of his laugh be the last thing heard from him in this world.
Laying in his bed, Lukas tried to fight off a pounding headache as he waited for one of the morning nurses to bring him his breakfast. Today just felt like it was going to be a bad day. There was a certain pressure in his head that just wouldn't go away and it made him miserable. Of all things he could have come down with, why did it have to be a brain tumor? The pressure and feeling it left him with a lot of the time drove him insane. On top of that, thanks to his lovely step mother, he couldn't even live out the rest of his life in comfort, having fun and doing what he wanted. No he was stuck in this damned stupid hospital in a small town far from his home. She often did whatever she could to make his father spend less money on him, so she could have more herself. At the very least he wished that his father would pay for better food, the food here was one of the worst parts about being stuck in a hospital. Soon his food came with an assortment of medication that didn't actually help him at all but dull the pain, and his senses in general. He was pretty sure there was some sort of antidepressant in his pills or something, because he often felt emotionally numb. Not sad, and not unmotivated, just almost like a haze was set over his mind. In some ways it wasn't bad, but often he found it annoying. If he had known which of his pills it was, he would avoid taking it. The only problem was, if he guessed the wrong one, he would likely be miserable the rest of the day... well more miserable than he already was. Given that he hadn't been active the last few days, rarely leaving his room, Lukas was not to hungry. The food was not appetizing either. He ate only what he had to in order to keep his medication from upsetting his stomach. Of course this earned a good scolding from the nurse that was on at the time. She even tried to force feed him more food, and that was the moment that it went flying. The metal tray hit the wall beside his bed, straying food everywhere. This particular nurse was too nice to do too much to him but get flustered, scold him a little more and then work on cleaning the mess up. However unfortunately for him, the noise drew the attention of the doctors. It was going to be a horrible day all around, it seemed.
