Mikeru and Guilmon followed Swanmon, "When did this happen? Last I heard, Myotsumon wasn't anywhere near here."
Sota watched as the sun set lower, occasionally glancing at Kairi.
Sota watched Kairi's eyes as they sparkled. He leaned towards her, and gently kissed her lips, closing his eyes in the process. After a moment, he leaned back slightly. "I love you," he whispered, turning red as he told her.
Sota smiled, helping her sit up, "Hey, you were just out of the hospital from being sick. It's understandable," He held her close when she was upright, "I just didn't want you to miss the meteor shower, is all..." His face was right next to hers. Sota looked into Kairi's eyes, blushing slightly.

Sota looked towards the sun; it was starting to set. Now would be a good time to wake Kairi up. He gently massaged Kairi's shoulder. "Kairi," he said soothingly, "It's time to get up."
Sota felt Kairi roll to her side. He couldn't help but smile as he watched her sleep. He then 'turned' to Dark, "If you try anything on her tonight, whether she's awake, or asleep..." he whispered. Dark laughed, "Oh, please! Like you could stop me...besides, I haven't even shown you the best part of us being together like this."
Mikeru replied, "We were attacked when we returned to the digital world. We barely escaped with our skin intact, and have been trying to find shelter since we arrived," he pointed at Dorumon, "He suffered the worst; they attacked him, first and hard."
Sota smiled as Kairi continued to sleep. He reached over, and pulled a blanket over her. He looked up: It was still a bit before sundown; he'd let her sleep for awhile... "Hmm..." said Dark, as he yawned, becoming more awake, "Well, now, what's this I see?" He sounded amused, as he looked around.
