During a livestream yesterday, Atlus announced a sequel, Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2! In addition to the ten classes found in the first game, EMD2 will add five new classes: Alchemist (Etrian Odyssey), Farmer (EOIII), Buccaneer (EOIII), Monk (EOIII), and a brand-new class that translates to Samurai. The Samurai class can wield up to two swords at once, but not much else is yet known. (Incidentally, this puts EMD2 in a tie with Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold for the most classes available in an Etrian game.) First-print copies of the game will include a 2-disc "User's Best Album," a compilation of songs from the Etrian series' entire history, with the tracks selected by fans! You can vote for what songs you'd like on the album here until April 9. (You can vote for as many songs as you'd like! It does require a Twitter account, though). There will also be a special edition of the game celebrating the Etrian series' 10th anniversary; this will include a copy of the game, the aforementioned CD, a collectors' box, and a 200-page art book.
