OOC: GRANDEEEEEEEEEEEEEUR Ezekiel groaned in pain as the hands of time turned against him. His arcane body melted away into flesh. He felt blood coursing through his veins. He was trapped. He was mortal once more. This was...this couldn't be happening. After everything he'd gone through for his ascension, she had just stripped him of it all at once. He could scarcely believe what had just transpired. He was snapped out of his state of disbelief by the sound of metal clanging against the stone floor. He looked over to see a golden haired man rise to his feet. The two looked nearly identical. "I'd nearly forgotten what you were like as a human..." Ra said through a panting breath. Despite the injuries, he rose to his feet, using the staff in his hands to steady himself. Their guild master had given them a chance. Ezekiel was a powerful magus to be sure, but without his ascension, he could be defeated. This was their shot at victory. "Members of Sapphire Eclipse! Do not lose heart! Victory is within our grasp!" Ra raised his staff at Ezekiel, loosing a bolt of electricity at his brother.
India continued tending to the young girl's wound with a thinking expression, as though he weren't entirely focused on what he was doing and his mind was elsewhere. However, he still made no mistakes in the procedure. He stitched the wound closed, and began wrapping it in bandages. About halfway through, the girl felt the need to justify herself getting wounded to him. He sighed and looked up at her. "Well I'd say that's fairly obvious. I would've honestly found it strange had you been sitting in your room, weapon in hand, ready for some kind of invader to attack you. It's not at all unexpected that you were caught off guard. Even Azra was taken by surprise. There's no shame in your situation." India said. Surprisingly enough, he was being almost encouraging toward the girl. However, with India, his motives were never what they appeared at face value. Those who bore witness to it soon found this out very much so. He finished tying her bandages. The wound was now treated. He patted her on the shoulder, indicating she was all done. Turning his revolving chair, he now faced Dmitri with a wicked smile. Dain likely knew what was coming. They'd be having quite the meal tonight. "Now then, shall we discuss payment? I have specific charges for medical fees. That will be 600 for the treatment itself, 450 for the supplies, 500 for use of facilities, 750 for the consoling session, 300 for the escort by guard..." India said, alluding to Azra. "Why am i the cheapest fee?" "You're not that great of a guard." India ruthlessly listed off about four more fees, each of which growing in price. By the end of it, Dmitri's wallet would be screaming in agony. "If you'd like i can set up an installment plan, however that would of course include interest." One thing was for sure. India knew how to extort the blood from your veins. He looked over to see the shadow take a snap at Renna. She'd been touching a known violent creature and was surprised to find it tried to bite her? She certainly wasn't the brightest...Well, that just meant he could get more munny out of her for his services. All he needed to do was convince her she needed them. That wouldn't be hard. "Now then, given you helped capture it, i suppose you could stay for the first part of the examination of the creature. However, once i get into my work, I'm afraid i'll have to ask you to leave. What is a scientist allowed if not his secrets? You understand." India said, walking over to the small heartless floating in the air. This would be interesting.
"You see what your friendship has accomplished? I cannot be defeated by mortal hands. Ra...Perhaps if you had joined me in my ascension, this wouldn't have happened." Ezekiel looked out among the large group of wizards who had challenged him. Every one of them lay unconscious. He could end them with wave of his hand. The guild master and the S-classes still stood, but they stood no chance of defeating him. "Master of the guild, look upon your children, broken and beaten. If it is within your power to save them, then unleash everything you have. Of all those present, I sense only would would stand any hope of reaching my level. If you have faith still in your words, then prove them now!" Ezekiel raised a hand toward the guild. Another volley of arcane barrages was coming. with another assault like that, there would be no surviving it. Sapphire eclipse would be nothing more than marks on the pages of history. Ezekiel didn't believe that there was a power which could defeat him, yet even still...The fire in her eyes had been so fierce. She believed what she said. If there was truly a power greater than his own, he would like to bear witness to such a thing. There was a part of him that WANTED her to be right. to succeed and match his power. A power beyond even his imagination...What could such a thing be like?
I would say that my personal favorite would be Marluxia
Alright, so, first try didn't go so great. But she was just playing hard to get. He would've continued along the path to scoring with her, but another girl walked up. She asked if they'd seen anyone tall, dark, and handsome with spiky white hair. Immediately. Beuce spiked up his hair in a fashion that cast a shadow over his face, making him appear slightly more menacing. "Why yes, yes i have." He said, walking over to the girl, full of confidence. "So, what brings a talking pair of boobs to a place like this?" A talking pair of boobs...Evidently he hadn't actually seen any of the rest of her yet. He was snapped out of his trance like state by the sound of nails on a chalkboard. Or at least something equally as annoying. From above descended a familiar green haired woman. Christ, he thought he was rid of her in LvD1. Given what she did to his future self, Beuce REALLY didn't like Ananta. "Heeeey. Ananta. How you been?" Beuce said with a smile about as real as the female orgasm. She seemed ore or less ignore him and just talk to Xero. Next up on the list of arrivals was Kross who had apparently grown something of an ego. "Had to 'deal with me' did ya? Him yeah you could probably kill just by blinking." He looked over to see Hunter explode into a fair bit of gore in a violent display of shiny power which happened to coincide with Kross blinking. "Yeah, like that." He said with no alarm in his voice whatsoever, turning back to Kross and continuing to speak. "But ME, now that's a different story. Last time i checked, i beat you with an umbrella, dude." As Hunter began to respawn through a hole in the fourth wall, some dillhole just blew his arm off before he was even finished being written back into the story. Like, what the actual fuck. "Dude. I get the appeal of killing him, trust me i've done it, but camping him is just a dick move." Beuce said, a bit irritated at the sheer BM presented before him. Surprisingly enough, he was coming to Hunter's defense. Who did this guy think he was, light Xindai? He was sure enough of a ******. Zavion honestly didn't know what to make of the voice of his mother resonating in his head. He hadn't heard in so long...but he remembered like it was yesterday. She asked why they fought against her. They weren't part of the rebellion, only with them for fear of being discovered until they could leave. The pain of hearing her voice again was immense. He honestly just didn't know what to do. Looking over to Freya, he could see that it had shaken her as well. He didn't know if her words were true, but no matter what the case, this creature had to be dealt with. They couldn't be discovered yet. Spreading his wings, Zavion took flight right alongside Charlotte. Approach right now wasn't an option, else they'd be hit by the lasers. Out of the people here, Zavion was most likely the only one who could do much about that. Summoning up a force from within himself, darkness spread itself along the ground in front of them. with a wave of his hand in an upward motion, it grew to form a wall. He raised it off the ground and placed it directly in front of Charlotte. "Alright, i've got you covered. It won't hold, but it should give you enough of a shot to get a hit in!" He called to the woman. He would fly right beside her and put in his own strike. He wasn't about to simply provide support for her when he could do far more.

While the scene had indeed changed, and the lighting was darker, it was by no means any less lively. The music was still just as upbeat. This time, the fairies which came out were white as snow. Speaking of, it seemed these were representations of winter. As they touched the plants, frost spread out along it. After making their way along a few plants, they came to a large lake. Man, those girls took ice skating to a whole new level. What they were skating on wasn't actually ice. Well, it wasn't prior to them getting to it anyway. They skated along it and frost arched out from their paths. They danced along the lake, perfectly in sync with each other, creating some rather interesting patterns. Next, snowflakes began to fall from the sky. And man, these were some big ass snowflakes. Like, these fairies just used them as freaking skirts. I mean, granted they probably weren't very big themselves, but compared to leaves they were just about the same size. So, if these snowflakes were roughly the same size as leaves, then Christ they were big snowflakes. Big enough for a shrunken keyblade wielder to ride on! Leaping off, Beuce mounted one of the snowflakes as it made its descent from the sky. "Wheeeee!" He yelled out as it fell. The women around him stared and giggled at his playful nature. Man, this world was awesome! 10/10 would portal again. Then, all at once, a musical conductor showed up out of nowhere and concluded the symphony. "Wait what?" The piece appeared in his hand and he was spewed out of the book. "aw...." He said, understandably disappointed to leave. He hadn't been out of the book for more than a few seconds when he saw mickey working some kind of divine miracle and making Karina an actual person with feelings and stuff. Beuce was frozen in shock, unable to speak. What the hell exactly was this mouse?
Signing Jesse up for Earthland
"Alright your god, let's see just how manly you are!" A voice called out from across the room. A blonde man walked up behind hunter with a smug look on his face. He also had yet to take his orb, and his weapon was yet unannounced. "I challenge you to a contest of manly men! We will see who is the manliest here!" He proclaimed with an overly dramatic point at the man. It seemed he took up the challenge, as Hunter merely flexed and his shirt tore apart and came flying off due to his sheer rippedness and masculinity. Not one to back down when the going got tough, he flexed and performed a similar action, except his chest was covered entirely with hair. "Oh, we're going that route are we?" Hunter questioned rhetorically. Squinting his eyes, a full bush of chest hair appeared across his torso. Jesse clapped, applauding his sizable masculinity. However, the contest was far from over. Grunting, hair began to appear on his face, when all at once a full dwarven beard shot out of his face. Hunter met this action in tandem. They were now both the epitome of masculinity. They stood with imposing posture, beer nearby, and a monster truck nearby from seemingly nowhere. "It looks like there's only one way to decide this. We need to see what our weapons are!" "Of course!" Hunter grabbed his orb intently, which transformed into a pair of twin claws. "Aha! Ya see?! Look at these things! They're so badass nothing could ever even comp-" He was cut short by a loud sound. Jesse had picked up his orb. Smugly, Jesse knew he had won. He sat atop his weapon. It wasn't a conventional one by any means. It was a motorcycle. However, not just any motorcycle. The entire thing seemed to be comprised of two women fused together. He quite literally had a motorcycle made of women. One of them looked to the side and gave a wry wink at Hunter as if to say "better luck next time."
Think i'll take Death Gun and Gai
After rendezvousing with a few of the others in the elevator, the small group made their way to the top of the castle. There, he saw two men awaiting them. He didn't see them at the resistance meeting. Which ordinarily would've given a couple options. Either they were wanderers who had found this world, they were remnants of the ones who lived here initially, or they were there to stop them. However, given the thing that was with them, that narrowed it down to only the last one. An enormous sting ray of darkness. There was only one person in all creation who could make something like that. His mother, the goddess. He thought back to all those years ago. Without thinking, he had helped the newly created Lexcifur escape. He was badly injured. He needed help. Zavion wasn't about to let the only friend he'd ever had rot in a prison cell for the rest of eternity. So, they did the only thing they could do. They ran. They escaped off of Riel together. Him, Lexcifur, and Freya. They'd left their mother alone on the world. Just before they left, he'd seen something that haunted him this entire time. He'd used his gift of clairvoyance to take one last look at the mother he'd likely never see again. On her face wasn't anger. It was sadness. Her heart was filled with pain. He'd always thought it was because she knew if they were captured, she would have to enforce the law upon him and Freya. Often times he wondered...If they'd never helped him escape, if they'd never fled Riel, how would things have gone? He wondered it, but he would choose the same road again. Lexcifur may have been an ass, but he was the only friend he'd ever had. He would never abandon him. Thoughts like these were pointless though. The choice was made a long time ago. The only thing they could really do was keep moving on. They had no real goal. They were wanderers. Vagabonds. There was no place they could really call home anymore. They just kept wandering. Seeing the sting ray had brought up memories of his mother. There was a war coming. Honestly, he still didn't know where he stood. Her actions would decide his place in the worlds. How she reacted to them would be what determined whether he gave his all to save her, or let her die. He'd always been able to see the hearts of others. People were an open book to him. Yet when it came to her and how he thought of her...He only just didn't know. His own heart was the only one he never understood. Ghost was honestly a bit surprised they'd managed to kill the beast so easily. Then again, of the creatures the goddess could create, that wasn't one of the more powerful ones. On occasion, she'd let him use shadowmare for a mission he'd been sent on which required such a mount. It had indeed come in handy on such occasions. Before such thoughts could continue a voice resonated in his mind. The goddess was speaking to him. She had ordered him to make a report as soon as he was able to, then proceed with his undercover work. "I believe the hero is not here. If the goddess supposedly sealed him away, then she would know where he is, no? Surely if we were getting close, she'd have sent something more threatening." Ghost said, attempting to persuade the group to leave the realm of darkness. When they returned to Disney Castle, there would likely be an opportunity to slip away. Taking a glance over at the others, he noticed one in particular staring at him. The creature from Halloween Town. After looking at him for a moment, the creature smiled grimly. "Yourself hm? That's deep." Ghost was confused at this seemingly random statement and looked away. What did he mean himself? "My name is Bartholomew Blackstone. I can tell you he's probably right. I've been in here a while and haven't seen a trace of this hero. I'll come with you to look for him. He sounds...Interesting." Beuce was glad to be back in his normal incredibly sexy form which created lakes in the pants of every female in the area. Yes. Literal lakes. He was that good. He stretched his arms out, relieving the stiffness in his muscles. Well, one of them was made of magical crystal and didn't really have any muscles, but the other one was a totally normal arm. Now that they were on Crystalis, they were immediately greeted by the sight of several dead bodies. Hunter, ever the genius, immediately tried to take credit for killing the random civilians. Although he knew who the culprit really was. "Classic Gexln..." He said with a chuckle. "Couldn't work him over to the side of not being a murderous prick could ya?" Beuce said to Xero. She may have been a woman, but the power of vaginas only went so far. Gexln couldn't be broken from that habit so easily. And that was saying something considering it was the power of vaginas that turned him away from serving Xindai. Then, a thought occurred to him. He had a golden opportunity to piss off Gexln sitting in his lap. Putting on his charm (He literally opening his character profile and turning the setting labled "Charm" on), he walked over to Xero. She was having relationship problems. So, ever the gentleman, Beuce decided to catch the rebound and attempt to get into her pants. "So, they're probably gonna take us off to whatever form of prison they have on this world thinking it can hold us. We may as well just play along and pretend they can do jack **** about us. Then we might be able to find out more about why Gexln was here aside from just reading his post. That'd be too easy. Plus, we might get to share a cell. You'd get to stay in a confined space with me all alone" Beuce snapped and pointed at the girl, making a clicking sound with his mouth. He was totally scoring this next post. He could feel it.
Flames swirled around the palm of Ra's hand. "The heat bears down upon you!" He yelled, hurling a sphere of flames at the arcane being. Ra used fire Beucette was roasting a hot dog over the ashes of leviathan. "Well, gotta make the best of the opportunity." Then, using a stick with a hot dog on it, she ran up and attacked him Beucette used hot dog quick blitz

So, friendship really was magic. This mouse had successfully defused Karina. That was like, at least on the level of divine sorcery or something right there. He'd need to remember to ask him about that later. God knows that ability would come in handy. Anyways, it seemed like they needed to go through a portal to find some piece of magic to counteract the spell put on the brooms. And to get it, they had to go through a portal. God, was he getting sick of portals. "Oh, go through a portal to the mysterious tower! now go through it to Disney town, then to this place! And to some place IN this place!" God, couldn't they just travel normally and maybe in first class or something? He like free peanuts. Free peanuts were the best kind of peanuts. Stepping through the portal, a scene played out before him. Suddenly he thought portals were the cat's meow. He seemed to be in a forest of some kind, although he was either small, or everything else was really big. From the inside of a flower, small transparent pieces of skin rose up, like arms stretching out when waking up from a deep sleep. Followed behind them were several glowing golden girls. The pieces of skin were in fact wings. They were fairies. Although, one thing he noticed immediately about them...They were stark naked. They flew around Beuce momentarily and giggled, before proceeding to their apparent task. The ran their hands along the leaves and instantly, it was turned into a bright gold. So, naked women turning things into gold. Welp. Beuce was starting to like this world. It was turning out to be pretty awesome. As they turned more and more plants and leaves gold, the leaves began to fall. They were caught in the wind, flowing all around one another. Eventually, the scene changed to a darker picture. The light was low, and the air was cold.
"Hmph. You are wise beyond your years, master. Humans are weak creatures by nature, however, relying on eachother only proves your weakness. True strength means the lack of need for others. There are those destined to rise, and stand head and shoulders above the rest! It is not the great who are strong, it is the strong who are great! If you are destined to wield power, then it will be yours. If friends are where you draw your strength from, then it is not truly you who is strong." Ezekiel said in debate with Evanora. However, they were not here to exchange words. "I will not turn back. And you will find i am not so courteous as to let my enemies escape after i have set my mind out to destroy them. You will die this day, Sapphire eclipse. I shall see to it." Ezekiel's words were serious. He had every intention of slaughtering the lot of them in cold blood. If they couldn't defeat the arcane being here and now, then all hope was lost. They would die at his hands. He looked over the small crowd which had gathered to face him. "Only Twenty Nine of you? How disappointing..." There were two in particular that caught his interest. The first being Ra. Ra would be the last to die. First, he would watch Ezekiel destroy the rest of his guild, knowing that he brought it upon them. The second was the man who brushed past him in the guild hall, Leviathan. His life had been saved once before by Ra's intervention, but this time there would be no saving him. "If you value friendship so highly, then i shall just have to show you the folly of your beliefs. You cannot fathom what i am. My power has reached the levels of a god." The way Ezekiel spoke wasn't as though he were gloating about his power. No, the tone was matter of fact. As though it were a simple truth that one just couldn't comprehend, yet he tried to explain it nonetheless. He truly believed that with all of them together, they stood no chance. For all anyone knew, he may well have been right. "This time, no surprises will save you." Ezekiel lifted his hand, and from the sky, a blast of arcane energy shot down into the members of the guild, scattering them with the explosion. However, one in particular was in the eye of the blast. Leviathan was knocked high into the air, his clothes burning as he was raised up. Ethereal chains wrapped around him, ready to detonate upon contact with the arcane energy Ezekiel wielded. The end came to him quickly. What could one expect in the face of such power? A burst of arcane energy much like the one he had fired at him earlier erupted from the man's fingertips. This time, there was no saving him. The scorpion flail was reduced to ash, and his body was blown apart. In a matter of seconds, where Leviathan had once stood, there was nothing. Not a single trace of him remained. It was as though he'd never existed at all. "Escaping my wrath a single time is a feat rarely achieved. The boy was blessed with the devil's luck. However, there is no second time." For a moment, Ra was unable to speak. He knew very little about the man, but he had saved his life back in the guild hall. That man had fought with them to defend their guild, and he was one of them. When Ra looked over at Ezekiel, his piercing red eyes radiated anger. There was bloodlust on face. His hand, decorated with an ornamental claw pushed himself off the ground. "Ezekiel, you have made your final mistake. You attack our home, make us fight for our lives, and now you have slain one of us. You have invoked our tempers far more than a wise man would dream of. Now, you must pay the consequences." Ra stood up to his full height. Standing at 6"4, he was high above most there. His shining armor glistened in the light of the sun. Dressed completely in pure gold, he radiated with rage. His hair in the midday light almost seemed to glow, as though it were ablaze with a glorious golden flame. Right now, in this very moment, one could mistake him for a god. The embodiment of the sun itself. He pointed a clawed finger at his brother. "Ezekiel, it is time your spark was extinguished!" He yelled out.
Ezekiel could scarcely believe what had happened. His four elite mages who made up a large portion of the guild's power, all defeated. Orpheus stood before him, telling of their defeat. He had a connection with death, so he was able to tell when those in the area met their end. Yana was one such person. "Orpheus...You have failed me. You, Yana, Alastor, and Thea. Not one of you could accomplish the task i set for you." Ezekiel said, his voice filled with anger. A bead of sweat ran down Orpheus' face. He knew the consequences would be dire. He would suffer Ezekiel's wrath. An unseen force lifted the necromancer off the ground and held him in place. "Weakness is guilt. All will be judged." Steam began rising from his chest. Orpheus squirmed and groaned at the pain. The smoke rose as part of his flesh was being burned off. However, it wasn't his entire body. No, one section in particular was the target of Ezekiel. "I strip you of your command, your title, and your place as a member of Magus Ascension. As the sigil of the guild leaves your body, you will instead bear the scar of where it once was to remind you of your failure. May it drive you further down the path and gain the strength you lack. You are hereby banished from this guild!" With those words spoken, Orpheus flew back and slammed against the wall, falling to a sitting position. His chest still steamed from the magic which tore away his guild emblem. Now, where the brilliant blue emblem had once been was now naught but charred black skin. "However, you were the only one of my generals to return. For that, i will grant you a reward. You will bare witness to the obliteration of Sapphire Eclipse. With your defeat, they are likely advancing upon me. I will show them true power." The arcane being had not lost any confidence in the guild's destruction. They were more powerful than he had anticipated to defeat his elite mages, but they were no match for a true ascended. Ezekiel made his way over to the balcony which oversaw the city. With Orpheus' defeat, the undead holding it up had crumbled away to dust. It was now stationary, but still stood far above nearly any building in the city, rivaled only by the Sapphire Eclipse guild hall itself. "Ra, it is time i do what i should have done long ago." Ezekiel raised a hand and fired a single bolt of arcane energy into the sky. The boom was loud enough to echo throughout the entire town. It was a message. A challenge. He was ready for them. "Yeah let's go kick some ass. Except he doesn't actually have an ass...Yeah lets go beat us some raid boss!" Okay, now, imagine that if it were said in a manner Ra would speak in.

Ra in squad 1 Beucette in Squad 2
Zavion was prepared to fight the dragoons which began swarming them. They were agile and fast, but all in all their moves were pretty predictable. They more or less just dashed forward, trying to stab him. Side stepping, he evaded and countered with a sweep of his leg that sent a large wave of darkness crashing into the enemy. This kept up for about two or three repetitions until they wised up and began to change their tactics. It was one Zavion hadn't been expecting. The vanished into thin air, and reappeared above him before stabbing downward. He just barely managed being completely impaled by the first one. Instead, he escaped with a gash along his back. It hurt, but wasn't bad enough to require immediate attention. Some simple healing magic would be enough for it later. The second one came, and he was slightly more prepared this time. As he evaded it, something occurred to him. He was capable of doing that. He didn't know how, but it seemed as though the information had just been poured directly into his mind. Looking back at the dragoon, he went into melee range. Evading a stab, he brought his fist into the creature's face before grabbing its arm. With it now contained, he bent it back and kicked the spear up, disarming the nobody. He reached out his hand and grabbed it before proceeding to slash the thing in half with its own weapon. Turning on toward the next one, he put the "jumping" technique into practice. Leaping high into the air, he vanished and reappeared, teleporting to above the thing. Manipulating the darkness into an offensive state, two trails began spiraling around the spear's tip, increasing its power as Zavion crashed down, impaling the nobody effortlessly. He didn't turn, but instead used his gift of clairvoyance to see how Juliet was holding up on the other end of the elevator. Indeed, as the totem flew out of Lucien, a spiral of blue light began swirling around it. Roughly three seconds later, the lion appeared at the totem. "Well that was rude. I guess we'll just have to call it even." Beuce said to hunter after being eaten. Continuing onward toward the cave, he looked up at the giant rock reaching outward toward the savannah. Oddly enough, there was a pirate standing at the base of it. Huh...Well that was odd. Paying it no further mind, he walked into the cave, and was amazed at what he saw. "Wow! Have you ever seen so much nothing all in one place?! It's incredible! Really boggles the mind that places like this even exist." He said sarcastically. Point being the hero wasn't there. He remembered that he promised Xero to help find Gexln. He should probably do that...He'd just wait for the next post as him to see where he was going to actually start after him. That'd make things so much easier. Ghost drew his weapon at the stallion's arrival. If he were to blend in, he would have to act as though it meant him harm as much as the rest of them. He knew full well what it was. "A messenger of the goddess, no doubt. It's here to warn us. She's watching. She knows we're here. It tells us to cease our mission." He said, explaining the beast's likely motives. He knew that should they leave now, the horse would leave them be and return to Sapphire. However, he had a feeling that the others wouldn't comply with that course of action. No sooner had that thought crossed his mind, a translucent black crow raced through the air at the horse. It reared up and made the motion of a whinny, but no sound emerged. It was completely silent. The air had been stolen from its throat. Looking back, he realized it was the man from Halloween Town which had launched the projectile. The stallion charged. There was no avoiding a fight now. Leaping out its path, Ghost threw a trio of Shuriken at it, charged with electricity.
