Crystal's instincts immediately kicked in. She pulled out Megaree's Pokeball, threw it, and kicked it. "Megaree, use Solarbeam!"
Megaree leapt out of the Pokeball. "Meegah!" he said. He endured Alakazam's Psybeam and fired a Solarbeam, using up his Power Herb in the process to avoid charging up energy.
Crystal looked at Silver and gasped. His eyes... those silver eyes were full of such rage and hatred that she hadn't seen in a long time. Had he gone back to his old ways? Treating Pokemon like tools? Despising weaklings? No, she didn't believe it. "Silver! Don't do this. I see the rage in your eyes. You don't have to go through with it. I don't want to have to hurt your Pokemon!"

Meanwhile, Duo and Chang struggled against their DAMON. "Man, this thing's tough. Death Scythe go! The Shinigami's here!" Duo yelled, attempting to slice at the DAMON< which quickly knocked him back.
