I feel you're missing my point. It shouldn't matter if they used characters or not, it's so they can get money to keep using the characters in the show they need money to make. And if that's what a lot of people are saying, I'd love to see any of them do things that are even half as good as anything RoosterTeeth does. Do you all who are complaining about this think I like seeing an ad about Appleseed XIII at the start of my RT recap? Do you think I like starting an episode of RWBY or a video of a RWBY song with an ad that I sometimes can't skip? I don't. Things like these take money, and when you don't get payed because you aren't professional, and only do this for the fans and with money from sponsors, I'm sure you'd do an unfunny PSA or whatever every once in a while too.
