Cat looked on at the beast at the end of the tunnel -- which she didn't know was called a Thresholder -- and summoned her Keyblade instinctively. There was no way she would let this thing stand in their way, and even less so when they had someone to protect in all this. "Rapunzel, stay in the tunnel! We've got this." She looked back at Maximus and nodded, reassuring him that this was the best way to keep her safe in all this. She then turned to Glen and Etrius and snickered. "Well, I guess some brute force might not be too bad after all."

Cat listened to their arguments about bringing Rapunzel along, and as much as she understood their case, she didn't want to risk her getting hurt on their watch. She'd never met this masked creep, but he looked strong. If he turned out to be too much to handle... she preferred not to think about that. Etrius started shouting as they ran through the cave, his words starting to slur. He wasn't even bothering with proper grammar at this point, and that worried her. He'd already been consumed by darkness once, and she hoped it wouldn't come to that again, especially with so much at stake. "This doesn't quite feel right. If we're gonna do this, we have to be on our toes. We can't just run in blindly. And yeah, I'm talking mostly to you two knuckleheads." She kept her breaths steady so she was coherent as they ran. She looked to Kaida and started speaking softly. "If worst comes to worst, you keep her safe. This feels too easy. The guys might be running on brawns, but we have to think if we're gonna stay safe."

Second, I'll buy Brave Warrior and Power Chain, bringing her stats up to 42(+4) HP, 9(+5) Defense and 16(+8) Strength and her munny down to 915. That only made him a more interesting figure in her eyes. Trying to capture all of his quirks in a single sketch would be hard, but at least his face wasn't still like a stuffed animal. His black eye moved as he addressed them, and his fall did nearly put a smile on her face. That is, until he reappeared behind her. She turned, looking past the girl who still sat beside her, and listened as he told them a bit about their situation. He opened up the promised Q&A quickly and someone already posed their question. She killed time, waiting for someone else to speak up, but by the time she'd finished her sketch of the bear, no one did. She sighed, trying her hardest to build up some semblance of courage, and moved closer to the bear. She avoided touching people, and ended up going the long way around as a result. Despite the piercing stares of her classmates on her, she clutched her notebook and pushed forward. Maybe it was because he was a bear and not a person, but she felt that it was a bit easier to confront their "headmaster" than any of her peers. Once she was in front of him, she spoke softly. "Um... M-Monokuma? D-do you think I could g-get another pencil?" She showed him the dull thing and felt her legs start to shake beneath her. So much for courage. "I... I wouldn't mind d-drawing you a p-p-portrait." She hoped the prospect of indulgence would earn her some points. After all, this was a school for those with special talents. There had to be some kind of art studio somewhere.
