Not again. Screams filled the air and Aria could hardly believe what was happening, Ba Sing Se was a city so strong, it couldn't fall, could it? She couldn't help but feel like it was happening again, she was back as a six year old watching her village get destroyed, helpless to do anything. Well, she'd spent most of her life making sure she wouldn't be helpless again. Her deadly fans were out like a flash and she was running towards the nearest firebender. She knew she couldn't stop what was happening but she could fight back and give people a chance to escape. She went for a few isolated firebenders on the edge of the destruction, she couldn't take them out together but she could a few at a time. She got to about a few meters away before he saw her coming, automatically sending fire her way. She leapt into the air, sumersaulting over the flames flames, dancing one step ahead of them. She flew around him, using his own weight to knock him off balance, from which a few precise attacks sent him unconcious. She allowed herself a small smile over her small victory but she knew that was nothing compared to what was happening. She moved quickly round the edge of the chaos to her next opponent, being sure to remain unnoticed by the main group.
Aria sighed, glancing once more at the flier, she had assumed it would be easy to find the resistance here since it was the home of it, yet now she was coming to realise it may be harder than she thought. She knew she couldn't just ask around, because along with the resistance there was also the people they were fighting against. She knew well that you couldn't judge someone by looks, there was often more to people than what first met the eye. Unfortunatly that didn't help her much in her goals. She considered going and getting changed into her full Kyoshi Warrior gear as that would probably get her some attention but held back for now. She started to wander along, looking around at everything, she didn't really know where she was going. She knew she should probably find somewhere to stay for the night before trying again.
Um, I think you'll find it's the other way round, it was our language first, you messed it up. Why do you think it's called English anyway, it's named after England. (Admittedly English is a mash up of lots of languages but still.) (Also I know this isn't the point but the only thing those options change is how the date is layed out. US is mm/dd/yy and Non-US is dd/mm/yy)
Aria walked through confidently, with slow strides as she looked around her taking in everything she could about her new surroundings. She knew the city would be big but nothing had prepared her for it, it was just so different from her little Kyoshi Island. She'd travelled a long way to get here and she'd trained hard. She wouldn't allow herself to be intimidated by the simple size of the city. However she still had no idea how to find the resistance, understandbly they wouldn't just go out advertising themselves so she needed to somehow find them. As she was thinking about that, a piece of paper floated down in front of her and her reflexes took over grabbing it out of the air before she knew what she was doing. A little confused, she examined it and was incredibly suprised by what she saw. It appeared she was wrong, the resistance would advertise themselves. A grin spread across her face as she read it, this was what she was here to find, what a stroke of luck. However as she finished reading it, her smile faultered, it didn't say on it how to contact them or get involved. That was typical. She looked up and attempted to figure out where the flier had come from without success. She'd decided to take off her make up and warrior uniform before entering the city, as she didn't want to draw attention to herself though she'd kept her fans hidden but close to hand. However, right now, the attention she would've got might not be such a bad thing as at least it would probably mean she found the resistance faster. Shaking her head, she gripped the flier in her hand and looked around to work out where to go next.

Background: Aria was born in a small Eath Kingdom village, when she was little she was often told that she couldn't fight as she was too weak. She was a girl and she couldn't bend, therefore she had to be the prisoner who needed saving or the one getting killed in their games. She'd heard stories of the Kyoshi Warriors, a group of female non-benders who could still fight with the best and longed to join them. On the eve of her 7th birthday, her village was attacked by firebenders, her family was forced to flee and they were powerless to stop them. She managed to convince her parents to travel to Kyoshi Island as it would be safe. There, the villagers were kind to them and made them feel welcome, sypathetic to their plight. Kyoshi Island itself had stayed isolated from the war, so she grew up in peace but as soon as they would let her, she began training to become a Kyoshi Warrior. She trained long and hard, determined to prove her worth, she didn't want to be some weak defenceless girl. However, she never forgot what she had left behind when she came here. Current Life: She recently left her beloved Kyoshi island to go help in the war effort, she wants to make it so no child has to watch her village be destroyed like she did so many years ago. She's currenly got to Ba Sing Sa where she heard the resistance was.

1) Misty - I simply love what you've done there. I like all the effects you've got, the simply spash of colour works well and it's got a lovely sense of depth to it. 2) Plums - I like the simplicity to yours, it makes it quite pretty and myserious. 3) Hayabusa - Yours is a little different and cool. Although the left side is a little chaotic and I'm not sure if that's simply an effect or it's meant to be something.
