I know this isn't exactly the same problem but I thought I'd ask here instead of making a new thread. On the mobile style, how do you get on to the second (or third or forth...) page of the threads because I can only seem to veiw the first page of a thread and can't find the option to go onto the next page of a thread anywhere. Also the 'Full Site' option just takes me to an error screen.
Exactly. Although, in most rps that can also be seen in godmodding on the terms of the person attacking as by making your character do an unblockable/undodgable attack as it leaves no room for the other person to react realistically. The thing is that means most people would have there character survive if given the choice. So in this rp where people need to die, you kind of need that. Which leaves the dilemma, who makes the choice in a fight who wins and who dies. It's half worth having it as a semi competition with judges and everytime there's a fight they judge and pm them both saying who needs to die. I have no idea if that would even work but I'm still sceptical how you'd get around god modding and power playing. Also, I'd suggest only having the first few posts with them getting chosen as rps where you're not interacting with anybody else is less fun and tend to die quicker. I'd have one or two posts per person with their back story/getting picked then quickly move on to the train and the capitol. Once you're in the capitol and people are interacting, you can keep that going longer.
Admittedly from what I heard, you were that drunk that it makes sense you don't remember. But the word is you were quite a sight to be seen wheen you pulled your little trick and when yo- yeah, I think it's better if you don't remember that one.
^,^ Hmm, no, like I said I'm still unsure so by waiting it makes the descision for me. If the slot's still there then I will, if not then I...
Oh, I was actually considering that. I was just unsure with some of the people that joined if it wouldn be the standard of rp I like. Hmm, well I...
Don't play dumb, you know exactly what I'm on about. I've heard all the stories of what you got up to, and don't say you were just following the crowd either, I heard about your little stunt. Man, you guys are crazy. Now I don't mind that you guys did all this stuff, I'm fine with that. Hell, it sounds like you had a whale of a time. But you could of at least invited me, I'd like to be involved with your little shenanigans, thankyou very much.
So how come you guys all got to play strip poker and streak round the forum and nobody told me? Hmph.
This sounds interesting but I'm curious how it would work. It's just to go all the way through it, as it requires the majority of the characters to die. People won't want their characters to die, how would you decide a winner? Also you'll decrese in numbers as you go along, which makes it more likely to die, unless you have something in mind for people once their characters have died. I may join but as I said before, I'm unsure how you'd do it. Also on the OOC thread, I'd suggest putting up a list of what each district is famous for to make it easier for people to have characters that have skills that relate to each district.
No, she's speaking phillappino (sp?) I think
http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Cosmic_Hunger Oh damn. I can't see this going well. Sorry~
The 'of the year's seem a bit pointless as all the awards are just for this year as the awards are annually so the Best/Worst thread are effectively already that and isn't 'Member of the year' just the same as 'Best Overall Member' in that case.
Oh yeah, I remember finding that funny whan I read them. Whcih reminds me there were a few missing from the collection that I read and I need to find them sometime.
I really miss that and I've considered bringing it back myself but I'm not sure if I'd do it justice. If someone did bring it back I would be very interested in having a go at shinigami though. Too many people know my name and it'd be a good challenge for my writing skills and creativity.
Actually it was more Kelly related the reason he stopped coming on, oh and the fact he didn't have a working computer~
Dinny Dinny Dinny!!!!!!!! Oh my, you're so amazing and I long to talk to you, I'm still faithfully collecting all the dick and Harley I can find....
OOC: Credit to Jayn for the awesome banner~ Slowly as the crowds filtered in, a petite girl entered the gallery. Her eyes were wide as she stood on tip toes to try and get her first glimpse of the gallery from over the shoulder of the person in front of her. It was just her luck to stand behind somebody tall but then again, everyone was tall compared to her. Lucy had been looking forward to today for a while; it was a rare occurrence when for once she was actually doing something for herself. She didn't have to worry about looking after anybody else, she could just enjoy herself. Of course a niggling worry was still at the back of her mind about what might happen if she wasn't there. The millions of tiny possibilities of things that might go wrong while she was away, working away at her self-assurance. For a second she almost turned around and went back, forfeiting her day out. However she stopped herself, took a deep breath and reassured herself that they'd be fine. She'd sorted them all out before she left, giving detailed instructions on what to do, trying to account for everything she could. They could survive for one day without her, couldn't they? She listened to the greeter as he told them about the guides as she tried to see in front of the person ahead of her, rather unsuccessfully. She probably wouldn't need the guides, she much preferred to go and discover everything for herself. That way everything was a surprise and everything was so much more exciting. Although one thing did strike her about what he said; he'd said 'Good Luck' at the end, which to her seemed a strange thing to say. Why would they need luck to look round a gallery? Surely 'I hope you enjoy your stay' or something was more appropriate. It was probably just bad phrasing but it caught her attention nonetheless. Her breath caught in her mouth as she finally saw the gallery when the one ahead of her moved. In an instant that was forgotten and she knew that the risks of leaving them to come here were worth it. It was incredible, a feast for the senses. They had so much here and so much beauty, it was almost impossible to take it all in. She moved quickly to take a better look at the closest piece of work, her eyes gazing at it and taking in all the fine details. She savoured every second and if this was only the first piece then she could not wait to see the rest of the gallery. This place seemed to be almost magical to her, from the moment she'd seen the poster she knew that she had to come. So here she was and at that moment, she couldn't be happier.
Thankyou!!!! That's amazing and I can't decide which version is best. Now to just try and make a post that's worthy of it. Would it be okay if I asked you to edit her level as the rp progresses?
It did that to me too but I'm not sure what the difference is. Looking at what it was updating as it did it, it seemed to be more of an update for movie maker and the other windows apps as opposed to Messenger.
I probably won't do my critiques until the weekend due to exams, hope that's not a problem.
As the sword appeared in her hand, Elissa looked down at it with interest. It was a little big and heavy for her small stature but she was stronger that she appeared, she'd cope just fine. She ran her finger down the smooth blade before butting her finger on the blade just below the hilt to do a test she knew to see how balanced it was. Rather preditably it failed. Fortunatly she managed to catch it before it tumbled to the ground in a way which would have surely embarressed her and make them doubt her capabilities. As it stood she was saved from that fate. Turning to the ring, instead of simply going and hitting it with her sword, she wandered over and knelt by it. She gently touched it, examining every detail of the ring. It was quite an impresseve thing that was almost mesmorising. She heard clangs all around her as the others released there rings but she did not want to be rushed. It was only when she realised everyone else had already released their rings, did she decide to get up and free hers. She raised the sword high and in one sweeping movement brought it down onto it. The movement was swift and precise, maybe even graceful. It didn't appear that it had quite as much power as the others though but it released none the less, cracking neatly in two.
