As it finally stopped and the doors finally opened a sense of relief swept over Lucy but she still wasn't exactly comfortable with this. "Is everyone alright? Nobody hurt?" She asked, looking around at everyone before staggering out of the lift. She seemed to be fine except a little disorientated and unsteady. She'd never even heard of a lift doing that before and right now, she was no hurry to go back in. She'd be taking the stairs for a while, at least that'd help her get fit. "So after all that we didn't even get up one floor, we're back where we started." She commented, taking in her surroundings before frowning and her forehead creasing. "Wait, wasn't this place full of people a moment ago when we got into the lift? Where's everyone gone?" She asked, there wasn't a soul in sight, surely they couldn't of all gone in the short time they were in the lift. Then she saw the window. "This isn't possible. Is this a joke of some kind? Would someone mind explaining what's going on?" From the reactions of everyone else, it seemed they were as clueless as she was but she still had to ask. There was a chance that someone might have an idea what had happened. It was dark yet when they stepped into the elevator it had still been morning. How long had they been in there? It seemed only minutes but now it looked like hours had past. Had they been drugged? She did not like this one bit. And more than that, she had people depending on her, what would they have done when she failed to return on time? However she looked at it and whatever the explanation was, she could only see it as a bad thing.

The car journey seemed to take forever and for someone who couldn't sit still at the best of times, that was torture. It was bad enough that her dear Dante had come from somewhere else so she hadn't been able to go in the same car as him. She just gazed out of the window, the scenery wasn't that great but it was interesting and took her mind off the party to come. It really didn't help that the driver seemed seemed to be taking forever. Admittedly she wasn't familiar with this part of town but she was sure it shouldn't take this long. Finally she let out an exasperated sigh, "Excuse me, but could you go any slower? I'm going to be late at this rate and that is not good. Do you even know where you're going? Forgive me but if you don't get this hunk of junk moving fast, I'll let Dante know you were the one who made his girlfriend late. Understood?" She asked the driver, annoyance clear in her voice. She just wanted to be there already, the tension was not helping her nerves. The driver muttered some apologises that she didn't particularly care about but the car did noticeably increase in speed. "About time", Evelyn muttered as the car finally pulled up on the fancy drive of there destination. "Here goes nothing." She paused for a second, sorting herself out and checking that she looked good enough. Her characteristic smile crossed over her face, ready for the night ahead before she bounded over to the door, knocking quickly on it.

Look what I just found!! It's a tad out of date and unfinished but still... Spoiler: LP2P fanfic Kelly cracked her knuckles as she sat down in the transporter module and strapped herself in. Looking over the nervous faces she was sat with she smiled, though she couldn’t help the butterflies in her stomach. Today was a big day for her, she could not afford to mess this up, all eyes would be watching her and she had to perform. She was the Captain of the shiny brand new LP2P-VIII ship and today was to be its maiden voyage. This was the eighth incarnation of the LP2P, an iconic ship in the KHV fleet but this was her first time as captain. She looked down at her crew, all looking tense; they all knew the importance of today. She’d known some of them a long time from the very first LP2P ship and they’d worked their way up. There were others had joined at various incarnations of the LP2P but were still a key part of the team and finally a few new faces looking to make a name for themselves. As the ship came into view and she saw it completed for the first time, she couldn’t help but gasp in wonder and most of her crewmates shared her reaction. It was traditional for the LP2P ship, unlike the rest of the fleet, to be painted in bright colours and made to stand out. This one was no exception and they’d done an incredible job. It was full of splashes of paint and could have easily been seen as completely random yet it you looked carefully, there was method in the madness coming together for spectacular results. The ship itself was an unusual shape and full of unorthodox things, LP2P was famous for being different and experimenting with everything. On top of this it was one of the biggest ships in the fleet. Kelly grinned; she’d have it no other way. As the transporter module docked and she entered inside her ship for the first time, her heart beat so fast but she did not let it show. She walked briskly to the bridge, the interior was just as impressive as the outside but she did not want her awe to show, she had important duties to attend to and she could explore later. She needed to show her authority to her new crew and earn their respect. Kelly stepped forward onto the bridge, taking in everything and looking out through the windows/screens before taking her place in the large red chair in the centre designed for the Captain. All around her primary crew took their stations on the bridge and turned expectantly to look at her, this was it. She cleared her throat and nodded at DT to turn on the coms system before speaking. “Welcome aboard LP2P 8, this is your captain Korosu speaking. We will be shortly be making our maiden voyage, all eyes are on us. I look forward to serving with you for many years to come but for now, good luck to you all and make us proud. Captain out.†DT nodded to show coms were off. She had not been looking forward to that little speech but that seemed to have gone okay. “Right then, I guess it’s time to get this show on the road. We can’t mess this one up now. Are all systems ready to go?†She asked, knowing she could not afford a single slip up. However, as she looked over at the people surrounding her on the brig, she knew she wasn’t alone. She was part of a team now and they would have to work together to face everything that was to come. There was a big universe out there just waiting to be explored. Her slightly feline first mate, Cat, responded immediately to her question, “All systems ready for launch. We’re all ready to go here, Captain.†She spoke professionally and efficiently. Cat had only joined the LP2P crew in its last couple of versions but had quickly risen up to be a key member of the crew. Her second in command, had brown hair cascading down her back and wore a small pair of glasses on her face. These weren’t actually because she had bad eyesight though. Cat was a hybrid and she had several feline features about her that had come in useful many a time. The most obvious of these were her ears and her tail but it also affected her eyesight, increasing their sensitivity. She wore special glasses to make it easier for day to day tasks. “That’s good, right, let’s go then.†She turned her attention to her new Helm Officer, the pilot in charge of steering this special beast of a ship. “Okay, Llave, it’s all down to you now. It’s you’re first time solely in control, correct? Well we have trust in you, you can do it, just don’t forget to take the hand brake off. Take us out and don’t scratch the paintwork†She said to him. Llave was also relatively new to the ship, she knew him and he was a good person to have around but still, today was important. She was just a little anxious in case anyone made a mistake. Llave laughed, his bright blue eyes shining, “Yeah, it’s my first time but trust me I know what I’m doing. I’ve had more than enough training and came out top of my group. Watch and learn.†He grinned, as he pressed several buttons around him before taking hold of the control stick. I also had this with it, hmm, considering continuing but I'll need to update it. Unknown species. Usually found hanging upside down while fixing/making something? Unsure.) Chef –MoshiMoshi Tactical Officer- Daxa Science Officer – Makaze (logic alert) Yeoman (Like a secretary, deals with the paperwork and the politics) – Feenie – Aqueous species, with special devices strapped over his gills, earning him the nickname ‘Fishy’
