That means just for the award period everyone has to change their name to what they are best known as, or the prems at least xD It's hard work finding out what some people's current name is and I know some people will change it again before the polls go up. /Never going to happen but still.
Good evening, my name is Sparkle Truelove, and I am the mentor of Gwen and Augustus, and come from District I. Although I think my age unimportant, I am thirty-one-years-old. My appearance may deceive you, but there is a reason I won the twenty-forth Hunger Games. Gwen is always noting that I seem very distant and unfocused, but I don't really see what the big deal of it is, it's just something I do. Who knows, it may be due to some sort of trauma I received from winning my Hunger Games. History: Sparkle was a career tribute, through and through. She'd spent her entire life training for the games and when her name got picked when she was fifteen, she saw it as a great thing. She thought it was a chance to prove herself and bring back the glory. She was a naturally pretty girl and more than adept at a whole host of weapons. In the games, she joined up with a few other career tributes and they treated it like a game, killing off the weaker tributes without remorse. Near the end of the games, she literally stabbed her allies in the back, leaving her with only a boy from district V to fight it out with. She won by throwing a dagger into his neck. The first few years after the games, she loved it, she loved all the fame and the attention, exploiting it to it's full potential. She began to get ahead of herself, creating quite a reputation and she didn't care what she'd done to get it. However five years on from her win, every thing had changed. She'd lost a lot of her family through accidents, which she had a feeling the Capitol was responsible for after she'd gone too far. The family she did have left, she did not speak to much after her actions. She'd already sent several children her age to their deaths and she began to get regular nightmares about the horrible deeds she had done. Because of this she retreated into herself, refusing to get close to people and becoming very distant. She still tries her best with every new pair of tributes but the fire in her eyes has long since gone.
I know, I'm messing, I've just been climbing up the walls (Not an easy job - they're quite smooth and slippery) while we hadn't had internet. Anyway, *hugs* Hello Kelly~
Good to see I've been missed xD I've not had it for 2 and a bit days.
Hmm I hate shopping, especially for clothes. I really enjoy getting my hands dirty and going out and doing adventurous stuff. I don't particularly wear makeup. I'm really into physics. That enough?
Ah sorry, my internet went down unexpectedly. I know I should of posted earlier before that happened and that's all my fault but hopefully I can start to get back into this and make amends. And I agree with your choice, though tbh I'm still not particularly impressed with the standard from any of them.
Shut up. Now. I wrote some nice things about you.
I HAVE INTERNETTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^,^ So so so happy, my internet is finally back~
Harry Potter is the scar on the blue haired girl's forehead.
I can't actually remember, sorry but I know it was with eleven, Amy and Rory.
Oh awesome~ I actually found a Doctor Who graphic novel at the library, the other day which I thought was pretty cool.
Elyssa didn't fall as the hand hit the ground, instead only shut her eyes as she bent smoothly to absorb the impact. She wore a small smile on her face, it had been too long since she'd been home. When she opened her eyes to see her wonderful Earth for the first time in thousands of years, she gasped and took a step back, momentarily losing her balance. "No..." She knew she was one of the oldest out of the group and she was expecting the world to have changed but not like this. Not like this at all. The place seemed almost devoid of life, the lush beauty of the land gone. Her eyes clouded as she stumbled off of the giant hand, there was none of her usual finesse in her movements. She felt something on her shoulder and looked up to see Camael. Her guardian angel didn't say anything, she didn't need to, more was conveyed by that look and movement than any words could say. Elyssa took a deep breath, calmer but still shaken, "What happened here? What could have reduced it to this? It's just so wrong." She shook her head, "Is it all like this? Or did we just hit a bad area?" She suspected the answer to her question before she asked it but still she could hope.
^,^ Yay, thought you might~
Ah, editted. Yes I did but I got distracted with figuring out the CS that I forgot. Sorry~
My name is Pulse Dalzell, I'm fourteen-years-old, and I'm from District III. My main sponsor is Midnight Star and this is what I look like. People say that if I were to use any kind of weapon, it'd be wire, and that I specialize in manipulating electricity. I'm going to be a Tribute in The Hunger Games - there's going to be twenty-three other people out for my blood. I'm not sure how to feel about this, but I guess I could say that I feel scared, nervous but ready to give it my best shot. I'll have to do my best to survive. Personality: Pulse is a quiet girl, only speaking when she feels she really needs to, instead just watching what goes on around her. However she is clever and has a deep understanding of everything around her and how it all works. On top of this she has an unending quiet determination, which means she won't give up no matter the odds against her. She doesn't like the idea of hurting or killing people but she doesn't want to die, so she'll do what she must. History: Pulse was always messing about with the left over wires, building and fixing things. She strived to understand everything, her family was fairly poor so she always wanted to make things to help. She was sent to work in the factories when she was only 8, her small size meaning she could fit beneath them and fix anything that broke from below, doing dangerous but necessary work. Her family was small but close knit and she enjoyed the little that she had got. Fears: Being helpless and trapped.
May the odds be ever in your favor!
