Upgrade your graphics card and make sure your power supply can handle the upgrade. That will do you wonders. Upgrading to 16GB of RAM would help as well (not as much, but still)
An SSD isn't really needed if all he wants to do is play "next gen" games (in my opinion anyhow). Just focus on upgrading your Graphics Card. That generally costs the most out of anything else you could do, but it also helps the most.

Repetition is also really helpful. Make your muscles and mind learn the music. Playing the same song over and over and over can sometimes feel a bit weird, but in my experiences it shows great results.
Coming from someone who has literally been playing music all his life, if you don't plan on practicing and putting the time in. Don't bother. It'll be tough at first but it pays off.

Stuff like this has happened several times in my area. A general rule of thumb to live by when it comes to "road rage". The other person is bigger than you, stronger than you, and has nothing to lose. Are you really going to take your chances against something like that? Use your brain when it comes to situations like this man. Yes, but is your horn going to do anything about that? Generally the person would have already cut you off before you even got the chance to honk your horn. At this point its just a metaphorical "fuck you" to the other driver, which as said before, is a stupid idea.
