*throws some cough medicine* Here. >> It's hard to get some good pictures if you're coughing. Now, change into something else so I can get some panty-shots. xD
Now you've raised a very good question. The fact that you wouldn't want God to be there because of what he's caused is reasonable. But the reason why he has caused these things is even more reasonable: God created us. God sent his one and only son to teach us about him and we killed him on a wooden cross. Jesus came back, and showed us the power of him. People don't understand the incredibility of God, and that they should follow what he says. People sin, and because they sin he punishes us. The punishment, is the things that he has caused. But there are also things that have happened (such as the atmosphere whatever and world hunger, etc.) that are our fault. He doesn't do anything to show us that we can't do things on our own. We need God's help in order to do things, for he has created life itself. So, all in all, I would want him to be there. To guide me and show me what is right.
Hem-hem. I will. You'd best believe I will. =/
Exactly. 8D That is why I envy you so.... except for not being able to speak. I need to be able to tell my brother and sister to shut their mouths. <<

Welcome to KHV. Read the rules, post lots and have fun.
No it won't. We have different ideals and opinions, so it probably will not end. =/
Bmphaw! >:O
This is truly an interesting ideal that has been put in front of us. The fact that people do over use the thought of "Accepting Jesus" is entirely true. To be honest, I've done the same thing. People go through what is said to be the motions of "Accepting Jesus" and move on with their lives. Though, I find "Accepting Jesus" as a way to cleanse yourself. Though, it is all just spiritual/Religious belief (and I'm sure you don't want to hear about that). In a way, I've experienced such things within myself. Accepting Jesus is accepting that he was and is real-just not necessarily within the world. Accepting that Jesus did walk on the same Earth we walk on, and died and came back and left to heaven. The bible is a key part of the beliefs and teachings of Jesus and how to "Accept Jesus." I do think about how people can be mislead by the idea of "Accepting Jesus" as thinking its just believing that he was here. The fact of the matter is that "Accepting Jesus" is believing in your heart and speaking of believing it will save you. Becoming 'saved' is the same thing as "Accepting Jesus" as a 'savior.' In "Accepting Jesus," we have laid out ourselves to him and have promised that we will live by the ways in which he did once upon a time. We will do as our 'Father' says, and believe in his love towards everyone. There can be much discussion over my beliefs and thoughts, but I suggest we do as FOD says and stick with a regular discussion.
