Also for the direction, the direction of the electric field is the same as the direction of the force it would exert on a positively-charged particle, and opposite for a negatively charged particle. Because in terms of direction, the electric field would be on the horizontal plane and if it was negative it would be the opposite direction to it but I don't seem to have enough information to tell you more than that. As for magnitude, I thought F=BQv but we only have two factors to take into consideration. Hmm, it's late and my mind's not working properly.
