"tsk idiot" Grey muttered as he witness the young girl he called assistant leader act. She was reckless, but reliable nonetheless. There was a reason she was given the role of assistant leader and she was proving it at this time. Such reckless action brought the leader unnecessary stress. At this point Grey realized things could would out. Whacking away a zombie, Grey glanced over at the drunken sniper as he left and sighed. His feelings about the man were a bit mixed. Though his luck proved to be a very good asset his carefree attitude in battle and drunken state brought Grey some unease. One thing he feared was that the luck would run out and the man would become a liability instead. Kicking back another zombie, Grey jumped back a bit and prepared himself. The exit Marissa informed him of was a great place to escape but still they still needed to be wary of it. Who knew how many more zombies were beyond it and had everybody merely attempted to crowd the door it would have made it much easier for the zombies to all attack and follow them. Skye's distraction tactic was great but it wouldn't last long and they had to move fast. For now all he could do was delay as much of the zombies as possible while the rest that were still around continued their escape
With all the heavy rain and loud roar of thunder, it was quite hard to believe that Altair managed to actually get a nice nap. With a relaxed yawn, Altair smiled awoke from his slumber. Hopping off the desk bed he made, Altair began to stretch "well that wasn't that bad of a sleep" Altair said but suddenly cringe "guh but the pain its truly staring to kick in...must have been from all the overexertion" Altair mumbled as he took a second to rest a bit. Once he was ready, Altair walked up to a nearby window and stared out at the deadly rainfall. "The Deluge, the ancient flood of cleansing that's goal was to wipe out the sins of humanity" Altair said as he closed hie eyes and turned away with a smile "and end like that would really be crappy" Altair said as he head out the room. "hmm what to do now" Altair muttered. As he walked out the room he noticed that the backup lights were now up "hmm I guess I won't be whacking the nuts of those I despise today" Altair said quietly as he began to twirl his cane around and walk down the halls. "question is, do I have anything to eat?" Altair muttered as he reached into his pockets and pulled out his only source of food. "hmm mints...well at least my mouth won't stink" Altair said as he placed some of the mints into his mouth. He began to suck on the mints until finally a thought came up "ah the cafeteria should have some food" Altair said. With destination in mind, the teen headed off into the cafeteria
This was a mistake, A simple mission to claim supplies had shifted instantly to a struggle for life. With a machete in one hand and a dagger in the other, the leader Grey began to fight off as much of the zombies as he could. In the middle of the fray he began hacking away at the zombies that where after his life. A slash at the neck caused the foe's head to fall and a slash towards the knees caused the foe to fall. Merely aiming at the body was pointless. One had to slash the weaker areas and the joints were the perfect place to attack. The numbers were overwhelming, if they chose to fight to the end they were sure to die here in the warehouse. After hearing his assistants word he knew the order need to be made right away. "Everyone fall back! forget the supplies and make haste away from here. Split up and meet back at the base. Back up those who are weakened and make sure to not draw the attentions of the zombies" Grey declared as he stabbed a zombie's head with his dagger. Reeling back his dagger, Grey hop backwards and avoided the advances of a nearby zombie. Noticing something by his feet, Grey immediately sheathed his weapons and picked up the object. What he found was a metal pipe, a good weapon to use since it's blunt end doesn't get stuck into the zombie's flesh. With the pipe he gripped it with both hand and smacked away a nearby zombie. He had to buy his group some time in order for them to get out. As leader he took it among himself to be the last person to leave.
An Skye shall be the first tragedy No worries I will take care of Skye
Having fallen into a classroom, Altair soon found himself slowly getting up and examining the area. Bellhurst was a big school that held many rooms in its halls. The place Altair found himself was a room for many extracurricular activities. It was a rarely used one and if anything it was more of a storage room than a classroom. Since nobody was in the room, Altair took it among himself and locked the door behind him. With that he would have to worry about some jackass...well being a jackass. With the deed done Altair started his next step, working towards a sleeping area. It took a while due to the darkness and there was strain from his wounds, but in the end Altair was able to move around the tables together to make a nice area to rest on. Hopping on top of the area, Altair rested his back on the desks and rested his head on his hands. After a good while Altair took off the red cloth tied to his forehead and held it before him. "Say...just how long do you think I will last?...Its funny really, when I wanted to join you all I was unable to, but now when I found a purpose in this world, a reason to say...it seems like I will be joining you " Altair said quietly as he closed his eyes "I can't die now....I wish to see the finale, it is not due to a lust to live, but more of a desire to witness humanities' reactions. The beings that inhabit this world, I wish to see how they feel rage, sorrow.....and love" Altair said opening his eyes as he saw the splatter of blood before him. This blood was something only Altair could see, a memory of the past that Altair bore witness to long ago. "Just...what is love" Altair said as he closed is eyes once more and fell fast asleep. Tomorrow was another day, just what would happen next?
Urrggg the feeling of losing a post...especially when you screw up when you are ready to post it Rewriting my post....hope its alright since its past the due time
Everybody is dropping like flies
Hao smile remained on his face as he opened his eyes and stared at the Doppelganger before him "well then I was thoroughly enjoying my time here, for what reason would you invade this place and disrupt the peace in this place?" Hao said as the flames raged, burning the shadows that got in the way of the flames.
As the rain poured down, Altair smirked as he stared out a window. First demonic possession, then an accidental explosion, and now a very heavy and dangerous downpour, surely this downpour was the work of one person or being "Ah Crestatia...have you grown impatient? or maybe you've only just begun...dear dear Crestatia, I await to see what comes next" Altair said quietly with a grin as he let out small chuckle and turned away from the window and headed deep into the school. The school was extremely dark. Most students had used their mobile devices as a light source, but Altair didn't have that privilege. With his phone having been destroyed in the explosion, all Altair could really do was use his cane as a guide. He continued on passing many students, blabbing around as usual. He really didn't know where exactly he was heading but he really didn't want to sit and listen to people babbling on. As he walked on his cane suddenly hit somebody, a sudden guy from the sudden groan. "Crap my bad" Altair said, but of course apologies were not enough these days "WHO THE **** DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? I SHOULD KICK YOUR-" yelled the rude individual, but stopped mid-sentence and let out a high pitched squeal as he collapsed on the ground. "So annoying" Altair said with a groan. He wish he could have said his instincts were responsible, but they really weren't, he simply abused the dark atmosphere. When Altair had recognized who the voice belong he instantly sent his cane right into the guy's crotch. The guy was a big time bully and Altair found the guy immensely annoying. 'now what was his name....Jake?....Josh? well doesn't matter now' Altair thought. With the deed done, Altair quickly walked off before the guy's pals realized just what happened. Altair just headed forward, looking for a nice quiet place to stay. Things seems smooth for a while, but it seems his bad luck (or carelessness) took effect and Altair found his self crashing into a door. The sudden collision caused the door to open and Altair found him self falling into an empty classroom "g-god damn it" Altair said as he laid on the ground.
It was calm and relaxing, Altair was really enjoying his rest against the tree, but then it happened. The sudden roar of thunder echoed throughout the area. Immediately Altair's eyes jolted opened and one eye began to twitch in annoyance "you've got to frigging kidding me" Altair grumbled. His luck was terrible today. He would have understood if it was a light drizzle, but a frigging down pour? Altair was not amused. With the help of his cane, Altair quickly rose to his feet and entered the school once again. By the time he entered he was quite wet from the rain. "hmm powers off" Altair said to himself as he walked in
Hogwarts A burst of flames spread out upon the demon's entrance. the flames burned intensely as spread far and wide. Those that got in the way of the flames were set aflame and burnt in it's intense heat. Out of these flames walked a mere teen with a casual smile on his face. Despite all the fire around him it did not affect him in the slightest. "yo things have finally become interesting" He said to the Doppelganger as he closed his eyes with a grin. Spoiler: ReEnter
All Altair really wished to do at the present was merely to rest for a while, the library was a quite place in opposed to the loud and crowded cafeteria. Since he was forced into a seat he really had no choice but to get up only when he really needed to. Things were relaxing, but then he saw it, the sudden narrowed eyed cold stare over at him. Raising an eyebrow Altair merely closed his eyes and sent back an innocent looking smile at the girl. Just one thought echoed through his mind as he smiled brightly. 'She hates me...' With that thought things felt awkward all of a sudden. With a sigh Altair merely stood up once more, cringing slightly from his wounds as he rose to his feet. Once on his feet he took one glance back at Madeline, who had seemed to be busy with something. He noticed Yuna walk up to Madeline, but she looks sort of busy as well. Feeling it was best not to stick around, Altair smiled an innocent smile once again and raised a hand in farewell. He knew they most likely wouldn't have paid attention but he didn't mind. With that, Altair slowly walked out of the library. Once he got out Altair decided to go where he was usually seen, outside. Slowly taking his time he took a seat underneath the tree. Closing his eyes Altair smiled as he heard some music being played. For now he would wait until lunch was over
A sudden force and Altair was sent falling back into the nearest chair. Letting go of his cane in the process, Altair collapsed on the chair and cringed in pain "damn that hurts" Altair said quietly as he placing his hand on his chest. "I guess I deserved that" Altair said with a smile as he carefully reached down to grab his cane. The force itself wasn't that strong but even the slightest movement brought some sort of pain, either minor or major. He couldn't really complain though since it was his fault that she pushed him like that. With the cane in hand, Altair turned his attention over to John. "Huh? me? I guess I'll meet you all there" Altair said raising an eyebrow. It was strange, another meeting once again, but why and more importantly why wasn't Madeline invited? At first he was going to question this but he figured he would just wait and ask Cherno himself. With a sigh Altair leaned back against the chair he was oh so painfully shoved into. He figured he would just stay here for a bit. Getting up was quite the pain for him.
Things make sense now XD At first I was like, D: Maka doesn't remember me? but then I remembered I had a name change XD I thought I put the last bit in, sorry about that X_X Either way everything should now be in place!
Spoiler: Earlier that Day Time: 8:00 AM "Hey...get your lazy ass up" "....what?" "I SAID GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP" "who the hel-" A sudden back hand slap connected with the cheek of the half awake Altair and soon enough he noticed the culprit was none other than the old man. The man was...well to simply put it...pissed. Before he could even say anything soon found his shirt collar being grabbed by the old man. With rough force the old man began shaking the poor weakened teen and continued to tight his grip on the shirt collar. "LOOK, I CAN ACCEPT YOU SKIPPING SCHOOL BUT BLOWING UP THE GODDAMN CAR? HOW THE HELL DOES THAT HAPPEN?!?!?" the old man yelled in rage. "LET GO YOU DAMN OLD MAN" Altair struggle to yell back as he was assaulted. "whats going on here?!" said a nurse as she entered the room to check out what all the yelling was "AH NURSE PERFECT THIS RANDOM OLD MAN IS TRYING TO ASSAULT ME!" Altair explained "RANDOM MY ASS, I'M HIS GODDAMN GRANDFATHER!" the old man yelled "HE'S LYING! WE LOOK NOTHING ALIKE" Altair said "BULLSHIT I HAVE PAPERS WITH ME CONFIRMING OUR RELATION" the old man countered "WHAT THE HELL? YOU BRING THAT AROUND WHEREVER YOU GO?!" Altair said surprised "YES I BRING ALL COPIES OF MY PAPERS SO WILL YOU SHUT UP AND LET ME CHOKE YOU?" the old man demanded "THAT ENOUGH YOU TWO IF YOU KEEP YELLING I WILL KICK BOTH YOUR ASSES OUT OF HERE" the nurse yelled bringing fear and doom to the two that were arguing it out "........sorry ma'am" The two silently said as the old man let go of Altair and took a seat near by. After a period of silence the old man looked back at Altair "So on the news I hear an interesting tale about a diner blowing up, next thing I realize is that you skipped school and the car found itself being blown into oblivion. I won't push you to tell but whats going on?" the old man said "Cant say..." Altair said calmly. There was no point in lying to the old man. He knew that the man had realized something was up and he also knew the old man wouldn't pry or try to figure out. "ah I see, well then at this point I would say don't do anything stupid, but you already went and blew up the car" the old man said as he stood up and headed towards the exit. "oh almost forgot to tell you, that car you went and blown up...that was going to be your birthday present. Happy super early birthday" the old man said with a smirk as he walked out. Altair narrowed his eyes as one of them twitched "you goddamn troll" Altair muttered as the man left. After a little while in the hospital, Altair was soon given permission to leave the hospital. He suffered a fair share of wounds around his body, but they weren't that bad and were treated quick enough. So long as he didn't move a great deal he would be good as new in no time. Placing on the clothes the old man dropped off, Altair head off and departed from the hospital. He was a bit wobbly, but he had a cane that helped him balance. "now where to...school?" Altair mubbled as he pondered upon his next destination. When he couldn't think of anywhere else he headed off to school. By the time he entered the school lunch had already hit and Altair soon found himself wondering what to do next. As he pondered he soon came across a familiar face and decided to interact with the girl "Heya Madeline nice to see you again" Altair said as he walked up her with a smile.
....and whats even more sad about it is that I waited for somebody to at least notice the poor guy ;_; couldn't even bring the paramedics out until everybody left
Username: Type-Sun/TwilightBlader Name: Damon Grey (Though he hasn’t revealed his first name to others) Age: 28 Personality: Damon is a very serious and calm person who would rather assess the situation in opposed to jumping in wildly. He may seem cold and grumpy most of the time, but deep down he is a very kind person (he just has trouble expressing it). He places the safety of his allies far above his own and would do anything to make sure they stay safe. He is a brave person and so long as he can see victory or meaning in his battles he will pursue it until the end. If one were to describe him they would call him a grumpy old dad that shouldn’t be taken too seriously. What he enjoys the most is watching others enjoy themselves. The satisfaction of merely bringing happiness is all he needs. He finds his assistant’s cheerful personality to be a great asset for him since she is able to be the nice one while he is the mean one (that gets her on track). His main goal is to have everyone work as a family and not just allies. Position on the Team (Nickname): Leader (Frigid Grey) Skills to Offer In This Position: He has great combat experience against the infected and has learned a great deal of leadership from his former mentor. He also dabbles a bit in mechanics and weapon modification. Weapon(s) of Choice: A Bow (he doesn’t really use them since he doesn’t wish to waste ammo), A machete, and a combat knife Appearance: Here Brief Bio: Originally Damon lived a normal peaceful life along with a wife and daughter. It was a happy time up until the virus first hit. His wife was the first in his family to get infected, then his precious little daughter. Surrounded by his infected family and a group of other zombies, an old man suddenly appeared before him and quickly killed off the zombies that threatened his life. With the threat dispatched, the man introduced himself as Mathew and invited Damon to a resistance group that he led. He explained that the group's main goal was to lower the forces of the infected and work towards making a cure. With little option available, Damon accepted the invitation and joined the man. Damon learned everything from Mathew and treated the man as his mentor. Mathew wished heavily that Damon and the other members would be able to continue on even if he died. Together along with the other members of the resistance, Damon worked to fight off the hordes of zombies. He met and befriended many people, but at the same time loss many as well. Their opponent was unknown to them and since they lacked experience fighting the foe they were at a severe disadvantage. During a certain mission Damon lost an eye and got bitten on his left arm. Had he not cut the arm off quick enough he would have turned into a zombie. Currently Damon has a artificial left arm. Many sacrificed themselves in order to find out any intel they could gather and soon enough only a handful of resistance members remained uninfected. It wasn't until one faithful day that the zombies managed to unexpectedly break in their stronghold. The last few remaining members all soon got infected and only Damon and Mathew were left. Survival seemed grim, but in the last minute Mathew ushered his last order. "This is an absolute order from your commanding officer, flee this place and live Damon. Live and never forget your brethren and keep our dream alive", and with those last words Mathew ran out to face the zombies, providing Damon the chance flee. With Mathew's last few words still ringing in his mind, Damon swore to honor Mathew's dream. The resistance group that only lasted 8 months was gone. In the next four month he began to build his own resistance group, one that did not hunt down zombies, but wished to live. Fears: Failing when others need him, losing an ally/friend, becoming a zombie, doing something embarrassing Loves: Company, tinkering around with weaponry, soothing music, a warm fire. Theme Song: Emiya -time alter- Undead Potato
Making an attempt to move, all Altair really could do was merely shift his body and lay on his back. The sudden blaring noise the sirens rung hard in his ears as the firemen, police, and paramedics all rushed over towards the seen of the "accident". The firemen were attempting to take out the flames, the police began their investigation and the paramedics all began to scout for the injured. "ah...damn...I forgot my phone in there...and the car was parked right near the place....ah...damn" Altair began to grumble very quietly as he stared up at the sky in a daze. His eyes slowly began to grow drowsy with each blink and eventually his body was soon lift up. For one moment he felt like he was flying or something but immediately realized the paramedics were merely lifting him up to take along with the wounder. "....great" Altair said with a groan as he was placed in an ambulance. With this fatigue took over and Altair fell asleep.
....maybe having them stay in the same house is not such a good idea?
And so he made it alive, it was a close one but he made it alive. The blast was strong, he barely got away from it but the force was strong enough to knock him forward. Altair laid on the ground, slightly wounded from the blast. At this point he really didn't have any strength to move but he still held onto his consciousness and stayed awake. "G-guess I got rusty" Altair said quietly as he laid on the ground. The pain burned his body, he really couldn't tell exactly where he got wounded and how bad it was but he could tell his left arm was pretty messed up. He realized a majority of the others had made it out but, just who were the ones who perished to the flames? another question was how many more died from the sudden '"accident". Unless the people in Lacey's managed to get out, it seemed Cresatia didnt mind killing off bystanders as well.
