Matt didn't know how long he was just sat there before anyone showed up, it seemed like forever but it couldn't have been that long. The first person to show was a guy, though he barely registered their arrival, just glanced up at them to see their brown hair through blurry eyes. He didn't really care any more, he just wanted the ground to swallow him whole. He wanted to wake up and find out this was all just a bad dream. It didn't matter he didn't know the girls, he would never wish this upon anybody. He shut himself out, lost in his thoughts.

Then he heard his name from an all too familiar voice. Zoey. The girl he'd come here for. He lifted his head with all the effort it took but before he knew it she was wrapped around him. Holding him steady. His head sinking into her...breasts? Okay then. Not that he was really paying attention to them, he was just concentration on the soothing feeling of warmth that he could feel from her body pressed against his. He could feel her tears falling down onto him, wetting his hair. This wasn't easy for her either. He was older, he was supposed to be the strong one, looking out for her and yet here he was with her holding him.

"It was supposed to be a surprise. I-I wanted to make you react." Matt whispered, his voice so quiet and only audible to Zoey. "But-but not like this. Nothing like...this. It's not fair. I'm sorry" His tears ran freely down his face, he wasn't supposed to be like this. He was supposed to be the strong one. All his grand plans now long forgotten, his amazing debut in shattered pieces but for now he didn't care. He was dimly aware of the other guy covering the bodies, giving them their dignity. He was suddenly thankful that when he'd approached them, he'd chosen somewhere where he couldn't see anything like that. "Everything's going to be okay. Everything's going to be okay. Everything's going to be okay." He repeated, half to himself, half to Zoey, so so quiet and decreasing in volume each time. He just repeated it like if he said it enough times it would come true. For now he didn't move, just held her so close to him.

DAY 13
December 12th, Tuesday
[IMG]

A grin spread across Matthew Right's face as he finally stepped out into the car park of the hot springs. This was where he'd been told they were and he couldn't wait to surprise them. He didn't know most of the people they were with but that didn't matter. He planned to make a first impression they'd never forget. He could barely wait to see their reactions. Oh this should be good. However it was still so early and he expected most if not all of them to still be in bed. Light was only just beginning to appear to welcome the new day in. Oh what fun today might bring.

Making his way across the car park, walking with such style, he found that despite it all he was still getting a knot in his stomach. He couldn't understand why, he had nothing to be nervous for. Just performer's nerves he guessed. That's what he was, a performer, he did love to put on a show, just to see all those brilliant reactions. The place was open but empty, nobody was manning the reception desk, he was free to walk straight in. He looked towards the guys area, wondering if he should go in. Then slowly a large mischievous grin spread across his face as he turned to look at the entrance girls area. Well there was nothing stopping him and it was doubtful anyone would be in here at this time. Was it any different to the guys half? Only one way to find out.

He quietly slipped into the girl's changing part. He wasn't sure why he was being quiet as there was nobody around but he felt like he should be. He loved the feeling when he knew he was doing something he probably shouldn't be. He quickly stripped off figuring it might be good to go for a dip in the girl's pool. Though he did put a towel round his waist so he wasn't completely naked. Not that it mattered. He was still alone.

Although he paused as he finally came into view of the pool, that was odd, the water seemed a funny colour. Did they colour the water on the girl's side? Surely not. Maybe it was just an illusion caused by the low light. Still he kept moving forward but stopped suddenly and his grin faltered as he saw two figures together in the water. Shit. Somebody was here already? He hadn't planned for that. He was going to seem like such a perv. Still they'd probably have a hell of a reaction when they saw him. Was it worth it? They'd be convinced he was a pervert but those reactions. The looks on their faces would be priceless. Who was he kidding? He was already moving forward.

Taking a deep breath, he stepped out into the light, he actually couldn't see anything perverse from this angle but that was never the intention, "Hey sexy ladies" He said in his most seductive voice. That was odd, no reaction. Maybe they hadn't heard him, he tried again a bit louder, "Hey, sexy ladies!". Still nothing? Were they ignoring him, they must have heard that.Taking steps towards them to see why they hadn't reacted he suddenly stopped and staggered back.

No.

He clasped his hands over his mouth as he looked in horror. His face paled. The water was red. Blood red. The two girls slumped. This wasn't happening.

No.

Slowly he managed to get himself over to the girl's and put his hands to their cold neck's. "Please wake up. Wake up please!" He was getting quite loud as tears began to run down his face. He knew though. No pulse. Skin that cold. He was too late.

He slid across the floor away from the bodies until his back hit a wall. They were dead. Dead. This couldn't be happening. This was not what he was expecting to come back to. "Help!! Somebody help!" He shouted though he knew the girl's were long past help, "They're-they're...." He couldn't say the word, only sit there shaking.

Impressions?
Would you go sky diving?
Banana?
Describe yourself in one word?
Day or Night?
Dance with me?
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
How sane are you?
Think carefully before you do anything or act first, think later?
Finish with an elegant bow or end with a BANG?

Okay well I went to see it with Bushy when I met up with him and I have to say it's an amazing film (made an amazing first date xD). It was entertaining from start to end, I loved the way they twisted all our ideas of well known figures to make them completely original and new. Admittedly I'd never heard of the sandman before this film, I love him now. It was also nice to see Jack not be the bad guy for a change, while still completely getting across the mischief maker part of him and why he's often seen as bad. Though I did figure out what his centre was from the very beginning, it wasn't hard to guess. And that animation....wow.

I also quite like how they made the villain called Pitch Black and the Boogeyman was more his title. It meant it was still someone you'd heard of and it made sense, yet if they'd just called him the Boogeyman I would not have been able to take him seriously at all.

Just had a couple of little nitpicks:

1. The solution to tooth's fairies being caught. Yes, it worked and I really enjoyed watching it but it was a temporary solution at best. If you think about how fast she suffered the effects, wouldn't that just start all over again as soon as they stopped collecting teeth? The fairies are still captured so no more teeth would be. Yet she hardly seemed to suffer anything near what she did at the start after they stopped.

2. Jamie walking through Pitch, Jamie had previously stated explicitly 'I believe in you, I just don't fear you', which surely should mean he should be able to see and feel Pitch. Yet a few minutes later, Jamie runs straight through him, suggesting he doesn't believe in him, has he somehow forgotten about him?

Even with those, they're only little things and it's still a really amazing film that I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately it's doubtful there will be a sequel as it's not making enough money which is a real shame.

Said I had an urge to, not that I was going to. I want a lot of things that probably won't happen but that's life. Still going to have fun with it. And you would make an epic toy.

And yay ^,^

That's more than I expected given this doesn't take into account that I have a bow ready (and another under my bed I'd just need to put together) in my room (with a balcony) that I could quite easily use.

Each word Griffin said, Amy heard loud and clear, she listened carefully, taking note of everything of importance. The fact she was wearing earphones and not looking at him by no means meant she wasn't paying attention. Likewise the fact that she was crouching on the ceiling rafters gazing down at an Animus below didn't not affect her concentration either. Her body remained motionless the whole time.

These last few weeks had been hard, in such a short time she'd lost so so much. So many lives cut short before their time, so many she cared about taken from her. Still she survived. That's what she did, if nothing else, she was a survivor. Her hand curled into a ball, she could not mourn though, she could not show them weakness. She'd been thrown into this and now she had to see it through. Do them proud. She wasn't going to give up, not now, not ever. She had more to prove and she planned to work hard to do whatever it took to make this succeed.

Looking down at the Animus, it was certainly a curious thing, she'd never seen anything quite like it. It took a fair amount of trust to go in there, trap yourself where you'll be powerless to stop anything they did to you. She didn't know if she had that trust but if she wanted to get this done she had little choice. She wasn't backing out from fear anyhow, that would never happen. And the things they said it could do, was that even possible? She wondered what her ancestors were like but it looked like there was only one way to know for sure.

Without warning Amy suddenly launched herself from the rafters where she'd previously been, leaping through the air away from the Animus to land neatly in a space on the ground. As she looked up, she tilted her head slightly and smiled. "I really hope you know what you're doing." Her British accent was clear as can be, "But anyway, let's do this."

No but it seems obvious enough. Though perhaps ignorance is bliss.

You know we might have been getting paid all this time anyway.
