A sudden call from his phone and instantly the old man rushed out of his house. The streets from Coy to Brookridge were covered in snow, but this did not deter the old man from his travels in the slightest. After a brutal drive the old man immediately parked his car and rushed into the hospital.After a quick discussion with the receptionist, the old man immediately continued to his destination upon receiving the info he needed. Soon enough the old man reached right towards the room he sought and immediately slammed the door open "HEIDI!" the old man yelled as he entered the room. "yeah your words are true" Darrius said closing his eyes as he leaned back on his chair and crossed his arms "merely thinking about the future brings nothing but unnecessary stress. I'm not saying one should disregard the future, but its best to enjoy what life has given you and enjoy the now" Darrius said and suddenly let out a chuckle and opened one eye with a smile "The future is best to be left unknown, nobody can tell what the future holds but I guess its fun to try and take a peek" Darrius said
"a day of good luck, well then you'd best not squander such a day then when it arrives" Darrius said with a smile as he took a seat near the girl. With the conversation taking place Darrius placed his elbow on the table and rested his check on his knuckle "well then my constellation is Cancer" Darrius said but suddenly he closed his eyes and facepalmed. "ah but where are my manners, I just randomly show up and ask random questions without giving my name? how very rude of me" Darrius said with a bright smile as he closed his eyes and placed his hand out "Its nice to meet you madame, my name is Darrius, Darrius Grey" Darrius said.
Altair drifted backwards and soared back through the air. If somebody were to slow down the moment and put on the song “I believe I can fly” then it truly would have been the perfect moment. Upon hitting the ground, Altair sat up with a groan “y-you damn ignoramus” Altair muttered as he sat up to see just who kicked him “J-JACOB?!?” Altair yelled as he slowly stood up. “Damn right it’s Jacob!” the man named Jacob said walking into the room with his hands in his trench coat. “You friggin ******* where the hell is she?” Jacob yelled as he swung his leg downwards at the silver haired teen. “Who the hell are you talking about?!” Altair yelled as he rolled to the side and quickly rose to his feet. Immediately Altair attempted a roundhouse kick but that proved futile when Jacob caught his leg. “That Herdy girl or whatever her name is. You betrayed me Altair! You joined forces with that girl and ruined our plan!” Jacob yelled as he pulled the teen’s leg causing him to fall to the ground. “Herdy? You mean Heidi? Just what kind of name is Herdy you idiot” Altair yelled as sent his foot straight at Jacob’s gut and jumped up to his feet. “Sh-shut up…I don’t care who it is but you betrayed me Altair and now…now….now mah boy wants to dye his hair” Jacob yelled in anguish as he reeled his fist back “THIS IS WHAT YOUR MAULING ME ABOUT?!” Altair yelled as he reeled his fist back as well. Instantly the two of them sent their fists forward and punched each other in the face. As the two fist hit their target the two idiots immediately reeled their other fist back and attempted to punch each other again, but suddenly pain pierced both boy’s ear and the two immediately lowered their fists. “That’s enough you two" said a feminine voice as a woman that had a tight grip on both of the boy's ears. "Jacob this is not why we came to ask” said the newcomer as she walked in Stuck in a library, how utterly odd. The first thing one would think was "oh great this will be boring" but Darrius did not think this at all. Boredom was a simple thing that could be solved quite easily. If one was creative enough to use the wonders that the world had offered then boredom would never be an issue. With this Darrius tried his best to enjoy himself. Having awoken early, Darrius found a wheelchair that was abandoned and alone. True there was somebody near it, but Darrius felt there was no harm in borrowing it for a bit. Darrius immediately sat on the wheelchair and proceeded to ride around like an idiot, it was quite fun. He rode and rode up until the wheelchair tipped and fell to the side and caused the teen to fall. Immediately in a panic Darrius attempted to return the chair back to where he recalled it was at last time. The chair didn't seem to have any damages so when the deed was done Darrius bolted away. For the rest of the time he began to stroll around the area with a smile on his face, looking around for anything to set his sexy eyes upon. He continued to stroll around up until he returned to an very familiar area and froze upon seeing the very same wheelchair he rode in, but this time occupied by its owner. Immediately his tension faded upon seeing the girl. The girl was quite the good looker and she had purple hair! With his blue hair and her purple hair they would really be quite the duo. "My my my thats quite an interesting book you've got there" Darrius said happily as he walked up to the wheelchair girl with a bright smile. He wasn't really lying about the book since it caught his attention as well.
As the morning went on Altair slept on to relieve himself of the sudden migraine he received the other day. Rest proved to be the right choice and Altair's migraine slowly began to fade, but resting for a extra while didn't seem to hurt. Missing one day of school couldn't kill somebody (excluding the possibility of Cresetia) so Altair decided to skip for the day. As Altair slept on, there was a sudden loud series of bangs at the door. Immediately sitting up Altair scratched the back of his head as his eye twitched "who the hell?!" Altair yelled as he jumped out of bed. Glancing down at his body "I didn't change? I guess I really was out last night" Altair said as he walked up to the door and opened it "Alright what do you wan-" "FLLLLLLLYING KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK" yelled an all too familiar voice to the teen "WHAT THE- BWAHHK" Altair yelled as the person's boot cover foot connected with Altair's face and sent the teen flying back.
There was no reply, Altair dialed the number again but once again there was no reply. Altair narrowed his eyes once more as he tried to dial the number again, but stopped the moment he received the message on his phone "I'm....sorry?" Altair said quietly as he closed his eye "just what the fucking hell Heidi" Altair said quietly as his grip on his phone tightened. "I don't know what you've gotten yourself into but you better damn well get back here" Altair said rubbing his temples. A massive migraine hit and soon enough Altair returned to his bed and fell asleep. Everything started to blur as he walked through the storm. Energy began to seep away and fatigue had already hit. Casey's legs tried their best to hold the teen up, but that soon failed as he collapsed on the street. More and more his energy began to seep away until finally the teen fell into a slumber "Sorry Mari" Casey muttered before he fell fast asleep. Though this seemed to be the end for the teen, in the end a saviour walked through the storm. He was a big burly man that was able to carry the pink haired teen to his shop and rest the boy to sleep in the warmth. Being ignored by the mad teen, Darrius merely let out a small chuckle as he shook his head.It seemed Darrius was stuck in the library, such a shame really. With that he merely slept at the table he sat on.
Altair soon awoke the next morning and rose out of bed. As expected there was no sign of the return of Heidi and all Altair could do was let out a sigh. "You idiot where the hell did you go?" Altair said as he got ready and walked out of the room. Altair silently began to walk down the hallways and began to dial Heidi's number as he continued on his walk. The frigid cold and flurry of snow rushed forward, but Casey endured as he walked forward. He expected the storm to be bad but not exactly this bad. Though things looked pretty bad, Casey marched on and didn't regret anything. Marina had to be somewhere and she couldn't have just disappeared. The rumours stated Marina didn't return home so there was no point in check where she lived. He needed to find her and help her from the storm, even if it meant he would trek though the storm itself. Darrius began to sit down at a table and started to read a book. Soon enough his attention was brought to some random guy running around the library like a buffoon. Darrius began to snicker as he watched the random guy run around "Hey whats up? Termites in your pants or something?" Darrius said to Cherno.
The cold outdoors was very unsettling for the sexy teen and so he merely stayed in the warm and comfort of his dorm room. As he sat on the arm chair of his room, Darrius' attention was caught on the television in the room. "Intriguing" Darrius said as he rested his cheek on his fist "the towns really are going down to shit" Darrius said as he took off the television and stood up as he placed on his jacket. Though he wished not to head out into the frigid cold, he still had nothing to do at the moment and it would be a waste to merely sit around. He always had an interest in the human anatomy so it didn't hurt to read up about it and the best place to do so would be the library. Marching through the terrible cold, Darrius soon enough walked into the library and smiled.
Soon enough night came and Altair headed to sleep. As Heidi's message stated she was not coming home, Altair merely accepted the fact and tried to sleep, but sleep just would come. It took a long while but soon enough Altair drifted off to sleep. Fatigue reached Casey and though he hated to do it, Casey quit his search for the time being and returned to his room where he drifted off fast asleep.
There was not much Altair chose to do for the weekend. The call of school had come so unexpectedly and Altair's schedule had now been messed up slightly. It didn't matter much to him but he couldn't really keep his mind off the girl that left this morning. What he questioned was whether or not he should back off from her a bit or not. Not a letter or message was left for the teen and the girl just soundlessly walked off without informing him whatsoever. The girl chose to leave without saying a word, so why couldn't he do the very same? And so Altair began to ponder just what was going on in the girl's fragile little head. Altair merely sat on a table drinking some coffee, when all of a sudden a familiar face walked nearby "Casey?" Altair said signalling the boy to his table. Something was definitely wrong with Casey and Altair could tell by the lack of enthusiasm Casey usually had. "Now sit and tell me whats up...don't say nothing, there is no point in hiding any of it" Altair said casually. "Marina...." Casey said simply as he sat down on the chair opposite of Altair and glanced up at him "Have you seen her? I've tried everything to contact her but I've failed...rumour is going around that Mari is missing but I refuse to believe she would run away or be hurt. I'm sure Mari would have foresaw some danger and immediately prevented it" Casey said holding the edge of the table. His fists shook as the emotions tried their best to stay subsided. "....its best not to get your hopes up" Altair said closing his eyes as he rested his cheek on his fist "Marina may be gone...its best you give up on her" Altair said. If there was anything that Altair didn't want, it was to see the boy fruitlessly search for her and in the end come to a heartbreaking conclusion. He wished to prepare the boy for the worst. "I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT" Casey said slamming his hands on the table as he stood up "You may be right, she may be gone...but I'm sure as hell not going to give up on her like that. If she is in danger or something is troubling her then I'll search for her and help her! Simple as that!" Casey said as he immediately ran off. Casey had no idea where he was heading towards, but he just ran, he ran and ran and ran some more, hoping to find his friend. Upon hearing those words Altair opened his eyes and watched as the young boy ran off. "Casey...you've always gotten so attached to somebody even if they never gave a damn about you....that kind heart...will only lead to despair in this cruel world" Altair said. A sudden vibration and soon enough Heidi's message reached his phone. With cold eyes Altair merely stared down at the message.
Spoiler: Remorse "HOW DARE YOU! ITS ALL YOUR FAULT" "....." "ALL OF IT, ITS ALL YOUR FAULT, HE'S GONE BECAUSE OF YOU" "....." "SAY SOMETHING! DON'T YOU DARE LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT" "PLEASE NO MORE, DON'T HIT HIM ANYMORE!" "SHUT UP AND GET OUT OF MY WAY WOMAN, HE HASN'T SEEN ANYTHING YET...MY SON IS GONE AND IT WAS BECAUSE OF THIS PILE OF SHIT. I'LL MAKE HIM PAY" A massive migraine hit the teen's head and immediately the teen sat up and began to pant as he began to sweat. Rubbing his temples as he attempted to calm himself Altair merely let out a sigh as he started to breath normally. Glancing over to the side Altair raised an eyebrow upon noticing his new "sister" had already vanished. Closing his eyes as he let out another sigh, Altair walked out of his bed and took a shower. Upon finishing said shower, Altair got dressed and walked out. Heidi had already left the room and in the teen's eyes he felt she had gone out to hang out with her friends or something. The girl had become more independent then the first time he had met her. At this point Altair could only question whether he should leave the girl be or if she still needed his assistance. For the rest of the day Altair merely roamed around the dorm, working on some school work or just taking time to relax.
Morning soon arrived and Casey soon awoke from his deep slumber. Over the last few days he had a really good time and though he enjoyed himself something had bothered him quite a deal. Jumping out of his warm and comfy bed, Casey rushed towards the nearby table and picked up his phone. Sadness overwhelmed the pink haired teen as he realized he has no new messages at all. "Mari...." Casey said sadly. Over the Christmas break Casey had tried many attempts to message the girl. The first message was an attempt to ask for a fortune, the second message was to wish her a Merry Christmas, the last few were some trying to ask if they could meet up or to ask why she never replied to her messages. Marina was his only real friend. He was amazed by her amazing psychic powers and she was a really nice person. The people in the school were mean and distrusting, he never put much trust in many people and Marina was one of the very few, but now she refused to answer him. Did he do something wrong? did she just not even acknowledge him like the rest of the people. Tears began to form at the corner of his eyes but Casey wiped them out immediately and glanced over at the rock standing on his counter top "You'll be my friend forever, right Tommy?" Casey said with a small smile as he picked up the rock. "Mari....you wouldn't just ignore me...I'll find out whats wrong" Casey said. He wanted to find out what happened with Mari, whether she chose to abandon him or if something happened to her. After taking a shower and getting dressed, Casey walked out of his dorm room and walked down the halls.
Altair merely closed his eyes and said nothing as the girl was lost in confusion. He just stood there up until the girl was finished and addressed him. Seeing her smile, Altair merely gave her a small smile back. It was a weary one, one that was not the very casual one nor the bright one he was usually seen with. "You don't have to repay me" Altair said as he headed to his own bed and closed his eyes upon reaching the bed. With that Altair drifted off to sleep. Isn't this what you truly sought?
Atlair merely watched Heidi as the old man had explained what had happened. Sure he was shocked, but he merely gave the girl a small smile and watched her embrace the old man. He was quite impressed with the old man's handywork, but he question just what the girl was thinking about this. "Good, good....now remember we are family and no matter how bad it seems, just come to me for help...alright?" The old man said softly as he began to strokw her head with his hand. Closing his eyes the old man grinned "Besides I really doubt you can be as bad as the silver haired idiot behind us" The old man said as he let go of the girl. "Now I've gotta head back and finish up some work at home. Make sure to call your good ol' gramps when you need anything" The old man said as he walked away. Walking past Altair he immediately gave the unsuspecting teen a punch to the gut "heh keep your guard up boy...there will be a snowstorm coming up, I left some things for you two so don't waste them" The old man said as he walked out and raised his hand in farewell as he walked away. "ugggg y-you damn old man" Altair groaned as got punched in the gut. Listening to the old man's explanation Altair let out a sigh and watched the man walk out. "So Heidi, how are you faring?" Altair asked turning his attention to the girl.
"Quit playing around with her mind like that and say what you have to" Said the dark voice of Altair as he walked into the room and glanced over at the old man and sighed "just what did you do" Altair said. He had hoped to have gotten there before the old man but in the end it seemed he had failed to do so. Nothing seemed to be wrong so Altair chose to spare the old man. "Right I should have just said it right away, sorry Heidi" The old man said as he closed his eyes and sighed "Like I said I spoke with your aunt and in the end we came up with an agreement" the old man said as he opened his eyes and stared at her confused eyes. "Your aunt has relinquish her parental rights to me...You are now my official granddaughter" the old man said and gave her a smile "that is if you want to be, I won't force you to do anything you dislike" the old man said. Upon hearing this very news Altair's eyes widened as he was caught off guard. True the old man had been planning on working with that woman, but he never expected the outcome to come to this.
The old man silently watched as the girl stood up and began to walk away. It was an inevitable reaction that the old man knew would show, and he knew Altair would have literally murdered him for doing it. Nonetheless as much as it pained the old man to see the girl in such turmoil, he needed to tell the girl, something had to be done to help her in the fore-run. Standing up the old man walked up from behind to the girl and gently held her arm to prevent her from any other action "Calm down Heidi, your not going anywhere" the old man said softly and turned her around to face him. "Unless you want to, your not going back to that woman's house, nor that hospital....understand?" the old man said gently holding both her arms as he looked at her with a calm but sincere face.
Altair continued to rush back to his dorm ....thats all... A warm smile crept across the old man face as he saw Heidi open the door "Good to see you again Heidi" The old man said as Heidi opened up the door and allowed the man to walk in. As Heidi took a seat the old man merely took a spare chair and sat in front of her and looked up at her "I'm hoping you've been able to keep yourself entertained....and that Altair hasn't done anything stupid" The old man said casually, but suddenly let out a sigh as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms "Now Heidi...there something important I wish to discuss with you" the old man said opening his eyes once more "I spoke with your aunt...." the old man said.
Class soon came and went by and for Altair class felt like it dragged on forever. Throughout the class Altair's mind swayed as he began to ponder the things that were in his mind. With a yawn he just sat there and left once the class had met its end for the day and moved on with his day. As he left the class an all too familiar tone reached his ears and signalled the arrival of a call to his cellphone. Reaching down to his phone Altair answered the phone and rose it to his ear "Speak to me.....that wasn't a lame way to answer the phone......friggin hell we are not having this conversation you bastard" Altair said closing his eyes in irritation "Just shut and tell me why you called, did you get to communicate.......you did better? What the hell does that mean.......Heidi? she is in my dorm room....why?.....just what the hell did you do" Altair said. It was at this point that Altair regretted telling the old man where Heidi was. The old man was surely a wild card and Altair had absolutely no idea whether the old man did any good or bad. It was true the old man was one to be relied on, but his methods made things harder that they should be. "I'll be there so don't you do something stupid if you haven't already....which is unlikely" Altair said as he hung up and rushed down the halls. The conversation was over and suddenly there was a loud knock on the door that led inside Altair's dorm room

Over all the day was boring for Altair and even though he spent time with Heidi something felt off about the girl. The silence from the girl made the teen wondering if anything was wrong. Feeling it was best to leave the girl to her thoughts Altair remained his casual self and never questioned her. Once the day had reached an end, Altair collapsed on his new bed and fell fast asleep. None of those girls came out without some for of injury, the tragedy was horrible in Darrius's eyes but nonetheless the teen marched forward and moved on. He promised his dear loving parents that he would move on and excel in the school that he was sent to. Tears formed but Darrius closed his eyes as he walked on. The majestic wind of fate blew hard and blew away his sparkling tears as the glorious and sexy teen marched on. Class soon enough ended and Darrius soon rushed to his dorm room where he could not cause another tragic tragedy. The day moved on and soon enough Darrius fell fast asleep on his bed.
I disagree with this. The two sloths hardly seem similar in my eyes and seem to be totally different characters.
