Such a beautiful and wondrous message had entered the phone of Laurence McClean. They wished to gather, they wished to speak the name of the goddess! Oh it was such a magnificent feeling, it had been ages since he got the email and now he could finally meet the others that were chosen by god as well. It was as if god has led him to this Brookridge Academy and told him to meet with such wonderful people.

It was glorious and Laurence could remember the exact first moment he received the email. Though the email was one of praise, the moment when he got the email was nothing but sickening. When he first got the email he first thought it was nothing more of a hoax and something that should be cast aside, oh how ignorant the man was to the truth! when he noticed that some of the people from the list were slowly dying off a revelation reached the mind of Laurence and Laurence realized that god had graced him with 100 golden days of enlightenment! He was heartbroken to have know that he merely tossed aside the email of his precious god. He couldn't forgive himself and such a crime was unforgivable. Immediately at that time Laurence bought a katana and immediately attempted to commit seppuku, but when he realized that suicide was not allowed as well he cried as he almost broke a rule set by god himself! It was a tragedy! but Laurence would follow his god till the end and with tears in his eyes he chose to march forward in the 100 days of enlightenment!

Laurence was never one for formal attire so he marched out in the casual jacket he usually wore and marched towards the party of praise. It took him a while but soon enough Laurence reached his destination. The place was marvellous and just seeing it brought a flood of tears in his eyes. This place was surely a shrine to his god C and just seeing the devotion put into this place was incredible. Placing his hand into his pockets Laurence reached the door and kicked it open with a thud. Casey got squished by the opening doors, but who cares about Casey when we are talking about GOD! "GREETINGS MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS" Laurence yelled out in glee.

The time had finally arrived and Casey began his preparations to leave. Having taken a shower and entering his closet, Casey pulled out a suit deep inside it and placed it on. With a sigh Casey glanced at a nearby mirror and smiled lightly. He always liked wearing formal clothes, but at the same time Casey didn't feel good about leaving Heidi all alone. He wished to see her again, but after speaking to her like that it was best if he avoided her for a while. A meeting that involved alcohol and games....Casey began to believe this meeting was more of an excuse to have having a good time...something he didn't like it. Nine kids just died and one of them was his precious brother. How could they have fun with such a tragedy. Casey severely hoped that he was wrong and that they were merely able to get somewhere.

After getting prepared, Casey left the house and began on his way to the meeting. Casey was never one for formal gatherings, his parents were usually one to represent the Heckles name, but in this case he felt he should do the job. It was funny when he thought about how a multi-million dollar company started off with his mere fisherman of a grandfather...though then again this mere fisherman was technically a legend. With a sigh, Casey entered a taxi and soon enough reached his destination. Closing his eyes with a sigh, a cheerful smile crept across his face as he entered the room. Quite impressed with the interior, Casey glanced around awestruck.

The hum of a message reached the ears of Casey and soon enough the teen arose from his slumber. His rest was not the best as his thoughts were totally focused on Altair and Heidi and sure enough he felt too lonely. He couldn't get through to Heidi and in the end he probably made things worse for the girl in general. Though some of the names on the email were familiar to him in the end the only ones he really knew was Altair, Heidi, and Marina. He regretted not taking this whole ordeal seriously from the beginning, he regret never speaking to Altair or Marina about the email. This game, just why did C keep him alive...just what did Casey have that Altair, Marina and the many victims didn't. Did the game-master pity him? did she not even acknowledge him? He was useless and mere fodder...so of course it didn't hurt to keep him alive. It hurt so bad but Casey had to endure, he stood up from his bed and read the message that he received on his phone.

Upon opening the message, Casey's eyes widened upon reading it and then narrowed them "A meeting...about that email...." Casey said closing his eyes. He really didn't wish to see any other after his encounter with Heidi, in fact he just wanted to rush over to Heidi and apologies. He wished to do it, but felt he should give her some time without him before encountering again. With a sigh Casey sent a reply saying he would attend and collapsed on his bed with a sigh.

The sea salt fresh air was a relief to breath in and the breeze of the travel was very soothing. Eyes closed, the Vermillion sat on top of the the ships bowsprit. The ship was truly a magnificent one that was well kept despite being owned by pirates. The ship was obviously the pride of the pirates and from his own experience with them he could tell these pirates were an honorable bunch unlike the many others he encountered. "Hey old man how long till land?" Zephiel yelled as he glanced over his shoulder at the bearded man controlling the ship's wheel.

"We shall be landin' in a moment. Korr be broadside." Yelled the old man back to Zephiel as he continued with his travels. "But still I be surprised ye'd wish to head over to Korr out 'o all places. Korr 'n Laznith aren't really th' greatest places to be off to" the old man said over to Zephiel.

"Ahh, but that's the thing about an adventure my friend, even if a place may seem dull and possibly unsightly it still can hold a wondrous treasure deep inside. The possibilities are endless and who knows just what will happen" Zephiel said with a calm smile as he stared out at the calm sea. Just thinking of the unexpected just piked his interest and he couldn't wait to see just what awaited him

A hearty laughter escaped the old man as he listened to the words of Zephiel "True words comin' from th' fabled Zephiel th' Vermillion" the old man said.

"eheheh I'd appreciate it if you don't go telling everybody about me" Zephiel said with an small chuckle as he scratched the back of his head. "Err..besides I cant just necessarily say that my travel here hold no reason" Zephiel said closing his eyes as he gripped the hilt of the broadsword that rested on his back "There is rumor about a man known as the legend...the rumors name him many things, but his skills and strength are known to hold true to his title of a legend. Whats for certain is that he originates from Korr and served as a knight" Zephiel said as he opened his eyes and grinned "I wish to be the greatest swordsman there is...and so it would be an honor to meet a man as great as him and be able to face him in a contest of blades" Zephiel said as he stood up from where he sat and smiled as land came into sight. A gust of wind blew past and rustled his cape and red hair. Zephiel felt this wind was the wind of a new adventure, welcoming him to the new land.

With the boat docked, Zephiel reached into his pocket and tossed some gold over to the old captain "Thanks for the ride old man! May the winds of fate lead us to meet again" Zephiel said as he leaped off the ship and ran off with a smile.

Opening his eyes, Casey witness her look of anger and self-loathing and merely stared back at it. He remained silent as he listened to her mumble and just sat there until she started making sense. Once she did Casey closed his eyes once more. He knew that this was more than a wound, that they restrained her for a more psychological reason, but the exact reason was unknown to him. His face did not change what so ever, the boy sitting before the girl was not the same cheerful and innocent Casey that she knew before. When she spoke her final words Casey reopened his eyes "I see..." Casey said as he stood up from his seat "Heidi...I won't abandon you at all...I want you to know that...you may not believe my words...and I cannot blame you...but know...if this is a game...then I will do what I need to win" Casey said as he stood up and turned away. "I just wish you would do the same" Casey said walking out of the room. With that the day came to an end for him and with it Casey fell fast asleep in his dorm room.

Casey closed his eyes and took a seat on a chair nearby. His words to her were useless and at this point Casey lost the motivation to even try and further. "How long? I'm planning on lasting the 100 days....it may be an impossible goal but its a goal I still wish to accomplish nonetheless" Casey said as he crossed his arms as he listened to her words "All this regret you are feeling....tell me have you ever actually tried to do something about it?...do not tell me you just sit there and feel sorry for yourself..." Casey said simply.

Casey merely closed his eyes "No Heidi...what about me? do you think I don't care? or how about granduncle Demetri? you think he wouldn't care about your death?" Casey said as he opened his eyes and glared at her "I don't care if you disregard me or not, but I will NOT let you spit on those that care for you...don't you dare insult their feelings" Casey said clenching his fist tightly "killing yourself will bring nothing but pain...do you honestly think that death is salvation?" Casey said closing his eyes as he went up to her bed and began to undo the restraints that bound her. He knew this would bite him in the ass later on, but it was something he felt needed to be done. Starting with the feet, we went up and undid the arms and took a step back. In the case that it was an escape plan, Casey made sure to stay in her way to the door.

Everything was silent and once Heidi told him to take off the television he immediately did so. The hum of the television had annoyed him greatly and he did not wish to hear anything more about the tragedy that was Altair's death. It was such a relief to Casey to have it off and for now the beep of Heidi's life monitor was good enough for him. Upon the moment Heidi stared back at Casey, he immediately stared back at her eyes calmly. "We stay strong not for ourselves, but for those that care for us" Casey said closing his eyes.

"I don't fear hell, but I fear dying....I can die and suffer the agonies of hell, but the thing that would truly bring me anguish is to leave those people that love me...my mother, my father, my grandfather, my sister...they all would be crushed to see me leave their lives...just thinking that I brought about that sadness is maddening...I know for a fact Altair was afraid of leaving us" Casey said glancing over at Altair's phone "that is why he left us his message, he wished for us to move on even without him....he wished his death would not hinder us" Casey said as he glanced back at Heidi's eyes "Death is an unavoidable fact, one that is bound for every living soul, but if we move forward and live to the best of our abilities then there will be no regrets...we move forward for the departed...we accept their death as an invaluable lesson for the future and march on for not just our sake...but for theirs as well" Casey said.

Upon hearing Heidi's compliment about his hair Casey smiled as he scratched the back of his head "Thanks...it'll feel weird without long hair so I guess I'll be keeping it" Casey said. When Heidi turned away from him and looked at the window, Casey remained quiet up until the moment she spoke once more "Message?" Casey muttered as his eyes darted over towards the phone resting on top of her nightstand.

Immediately Casey noticed just who's phone rested there and who Heidi was talking about. Casey rose his hand towards the phone and attempted to grab it, but his hand was shaking uncontrollably in fear. He feared the message that rested in the phone and just knowing Altair left a message brought his emotions in turmoil. After mentally preparing himself, Casey picked up the phone and played the message. After a while the message soon ended and with it's conclusion, Casey turned away from Heidi's bed. Tears once again fell down his face and Casey placed away the phone that belonged to Altair. In the end he was right, he knew Altair believed in him to be strong and this message confirmed it. Wiping away the tears on his face, Casey once again turned and faced Heidi "I guess we've gotta be strong" Casey said.

Upon the opening of the door Casey looked up at the nurse and gave her a nod of gratitude as he was let into the room. Walking into the room, Casey's eyes immediately caught on to the restraints that held Heidi. Immediately Casey felt a surge of anger and was about to yell but immediately calmed himself down upon realizing that those restraints were probably necessary. He knew that his granduncle was looking after Heidi and if even he decided it was best that Heidi was restrained then he shouldn't make scene about it.

It was this fact that made him realize that Casey knew nothing really about the girl. Sure they hung around each other and sure they knew Altair, but he never knew how she knew Altair. Glancing up at Heidi, Casey immediately smiled softly upon seeing Heidi's smile as well "Heya Heidi, you feeling a bit better?" Casey said. He never cared about her past and how she knew Altair, just knowing that Altair found her special was good enough for Casey. If she was special to Altair then she was special to him.

"Are you sure you want to stay here? You can take a break from school....your sister would love to see her big brother again.." Cassandra said to her son as she stood outside with her husband beside her. All the rumours of death terrified the woman as all she really wanted was her son to be with her and remain safe.

"No...I cant mom....everything will be fine...tell sis that I'll be seeing her soon...I've just got business to do over here" Casey said closing his eyes. He knew he was lying when he told his parents that everything would turn out fine, but he desperately did not want his parents to fret or worry about him. He wished desperately that he could remain with his parents, grandfather, and little sister, but the future held no certainty for him.

"Kid, don't do anything stupid alright...if you do I'll have to run down here and kick your ass in order to teach you a lesson" Jacob said as he placed his hand on top of his son's head and ruffled his hair

Closing his eyes, Casey knew this was his father way of saying "If anything happens to you I will drop whatever I'm doing and be there right away". With this Casey smiled and refused to shed any tears. He wished to stand strong in front of his parents and make sure there was nothing for them to fear. Before they left, Cassandra gave Casey a final goodbye hug. Casey embraced his mother and closed his eyes tightly. This one hug meant the world to Casey, it was possibly the last hug he would ever receive from his mother. Just thinking about never seeing his parents again, and bringing them anguish and sorrow terrified the teen. When he thought about Altair he wondered if Altair ever thought the same thing. Did Altair ever feel fear that the end of his existence would bring sorrow? It was this thought that Casey decided to live by. Though he will shed tears, he would not let Altair's death deter him, he would make it his strength and make it push him forward. He knew this was what Altair wanted and with this he would never forget the silver haired teen that he called a brother.

The embrace ended and soon enough the two adults walked off. Casey silently watched as the two left and once they were out of sight, the tears that were held back finally gave way and ran down his cheeks. Closing his eyes and wiping them away, Casey decided to head over to the hospital to check on Heidi. After the wound Heidi received and the sudden trauma of Altair's death, he needed to see how the girl was doing. He soon arrived at the hospital, and asked for Heidi's room. Though he was told he probably wouldn't be allowed to see her he decided to try regardless. Upon reaching Heidi's room Casey knocked on the door.

The eyes of Casey's eyes began to flutter open as he glanced up to she his mother's face. "M-mom?" Casey said as he closed his eyes upon realizing his head was resting on his mother's lap as she stroked his hair. His head hurt and the pain reminded him that his brother was gone. With closed eyes, tears fell down his cheek as he continued to rest on his mother's lap."H-he's gone mom...Altair is gone..." Casey struggled to say. As he attempted to say more, a finger pressed on his lips and stopped his words

"Shhhh...I know dear....I know your pain...we all are in pain.." Cassandra said calmly. It hurt her to see her baby in so much pain and she never hoped to ever see it. Removing her finger from Casey's lips she awaited the boy to speak, but in the end the boy said nothing. "Casey...I know your in pain and now is the time to grieve...but you and I both know Altair would never wish for you to grieve like this...you know he would rather see you happy" Cassandra said closing her eyes. "It was not your fault" Cassandra said.

Immediately upon hearing those words, Casey opened his eyes with a dull look in his eyes "No...it is my fault...I was unable to protect him...I was unable to protect her" Casey said sitting up and standing up. Silently he walked up to a dresser and stared at the mirror on the wall. "Something is going on mom, something I cannot tell you about...my friend Marina has vanished, Altair is dead...and Heidi...she was wounded...and..I...I couldn't do anything...just what if granduncle didn't appear? I could have lost her like I did Altair" Casey said closing his eyes tightly "I-I can't be this weak..." Casey said opening his eyes as he stared at his reflection. The pink hair...it reminded him so much of Altair. He couldn't take it, he couldn't take being reminded of Altair each time he looked at a mirror.

    "Mom....can you dye my hair?"

I won't give up...I'll play this game....Marina...you may still be alive...I'll do all I can to find you...I'll make sure to be able to help you next time Heidi...I'll play this game...and i I die....I die without regret

"To those who do not know of the name Altair S Geis then this message hold nothing for you. This message is something I've withheld until my eventual end and with this I wish to relay my feelings should I never be able to before my time. The game has come to an end for me and with it, the pawn has left the chessboard. Demetri...no grandfather...I still remember our first encounter, the very first moment we met....you punched me like the damn old man you are, but that punch was what let me move on with my life and continue to live. Its the most precious memory I have and I could never repay you for what you've done for me. I'm sorry but in the end I was unable to keep my word....live on you damn old man...

Next is Casey...I apologize for everything, I will admit I've been acting a bit distant from you, but in the end I've always enjoyed your company...duking it out, the pranks, everything...I had fun with you my brother. Your strong and you don't need me watching over you. I want you to march on....I know those muscles will grow eventually and you will be the manliest of men. Go forth and protect those you care and love for.

And finally Heidi......I am nothing but a dirty promises breaker. How I wish you would never get to hear this message...how I wish that I will be there for you and help you with your troubles....Heidi....you are precious to me....though our blood may not be the same you will always be my sister. Whether you hate me or not for leaving you I will accept any hatred you bear towards me....but please...I want you to stay strong....this is my final request...Though you deny it and believe that you are weak....I know you are strong deep inside. Only you can make your own choices...nobody else....be strong my sisters....and farewell."

This is the story of a boy who had lost everything he held dear. His mother, father and brother all left him and the only one who he could blame was himself.

    “I am cursed”

This was what the young Altair told himself, it was what he truly believed. When he had nowhere to go, when he was forced to leave the small home his parents worked so hard to maintain, Altair was taken into a rundown church to live along with the other orphaned children. The nun that ran the church was a kind lady, one who never cared about whether a person believed in her god or not. To help others and to see them smile was what brought joy to the woman.

It was a poor home, but to Altair it was what he desired the most, a happy family. The fellow orphans were all kind folk and they treated him as if he was one of their own. No scorn, no hate, no disgust, only love and kindness. To one who had given up on mankind, this place was an unbelievable paradise. To see such kindness in such a dark time for him left him confused and lost. He grew to care for his new friends, to love and respect them, but he could not be with them.

    “Come play with us Altair!”

    “Do you need anything Altair?”

    “Why are you sitting alone?”

No matter how many times he disregarded their kind requests, they still returned and asked these questions and more in an attempt to make the silver haired teen smile. They were never fed up with him and eventually his reply of “No thank you” became an expected occurrence to them.

Though Altair denied these requests, he knew in his heart that he wanted to say yes. He wanted to join them and to have fun; he wanted to bond with them and be a happy family…but his being rejected such pleasure. If he joined them then they would leave him…their lives would be ruined and in the end only he would be left all alone. In the end he chose to reject their love for their sake.

Love and affection….he received it, but he could not understand it. He wished not to receive it, but nonetheless they all attempted to give him it.

    “I am a burden”

This was the conclusion he came to in the end. To care for such a broken person would only lead to despair. In the midst of the day, Altair left his home and headed towards the rooftop of a tall building. It was this spot that he chose to end it all. He stood on the edge and stared out of the vast city.

“People always seem to be mean and bad, but I believe deep down everybody has some form of kindness deep inside…at least this is what I believe…I know it something you don’t believe in but it would mean the world to me if at least tried”

He recalled those very precious word to him and tried his best to live by those words. He tried to believe them, but the corruptness of humankind left him unable to truly believe everybody had some form of kindness. In the end Altair leaned forward from the edge and his plummet started. In that single moment, as his body leaned forward he felt as though his soul had begun to make its exit from his body. He awaited the rush of the decent and the inevitable end, but it never happened. Before his body could even leave the top of the building something instantly pulled him back. The sudden jerk backwards cut his breath short and the escaping soul returned to his body.

It was all too sudden for Altair to understand at the instant as he sat on top of the rooftop with a throbbing cheek and an old man standing in front of him. It took a few seconds but Altair soon realized that this old man before him had pulled him away from the edge and punched him down him in the face.

“Just what the hell is wrong with you kid?!”

The gruff man said as he stared down at the dumbstruck Altair. The whole situation was overwhelming and Altair was just speechless. A random man that he had never seen in his life had just randomly saved his life. Before Altair could even think of anything he could say, the man suddenly gripped Altair by the collar of his shirt and lifted him up

“Why…WHY THE HELL ARE YOU THROWING AWAY YOUR LIFE LIKE THAT. I’M SICK OF PEOPLE DISCARDING THEIR LIVES LIKE THIS. WHY…WHY WON’T YOU PEOPLE LEARN TO ENJOY YOUR LIFE”

Tears that would rarely appear began to form in the man’s eyes as he gripped the teen’s shirt with a tight grip and glared at him

“This life, if hurts…I don’t want to see anybody else leave, it holds nothing for me”

Altair replied meekly, only to receive another fist to the face

“You idiot….your life has only begun and you say that it holds nothing for you? You’ve haven’t even begun to experience the joys of life and you plan to throw it away?”

The old man said softly as he dropped Altair and closed his eyes as the tears ran down his face. On the ground, Altair stared up at the man with widened eyes. Just seeing the man cry for him left Altair confused and lost.

“I’ve met many and seen many die…I just wish with these hands of mine, I would be able to just save one live…so boy…if you say this life holds nothing for you then I will make sure that it hold something for you...just stick with me and I’ll make sure you have your damn reason”

The tears were gone and on the stern man’s face was a great big grin. As he stood before Altair the man placed his hand out

“I am Demetri Olliver Marshal, and I will be your new grandfather Altair”

Just hearing those words being ushered by the old man caused tears to run down Altair’s face. He didn’t care how the old man knew his name or that he would even be here, all Altair did was hold the man’s hand with both of his hands and cried his eyes out.

With this, Altair began his life living with his new grandfather and began to strive towards finding his life’s purpose. With this the two made a promise to each other: That the two would never give up on life and live till its very end. Altair promised to the old man that he would live, he would live past the old man and find just what he was looking for. He truly believed in the man’s words and could never repay him for all that he has done.

Though it hurt the man greatly to see the girl like this, the old man received just what he was looking for. The reaction alone proved that this "Crestetia" person was possibly responsible for some of the deaths occurring around the city. "You don't have to say any more..." the old man said closing his eyes with a sigh. The girl obviously knew much about the situation, but her mentality was in a mess and to question any further would break her mind. Reaching into his pocket the man brought out a cellphone and placed it in Heidi's hand "Altair died by poison...he would never commit suicide...that is what I believe" the old man said closing his eyes and stood up. "That phone belongs to Altair...I don't know what game you are taking part of but it seems Altair expected this end." The old man said as he turned away "There is a voice message for you in that phone....whether you should erase it and avoid the pain or listen to it is up to you" the man said as he began to walk out. "I'll be heading out for now. If you need anything at all just don't hesitate to call" the old man said

A surge of relief hit the old man as he stared over at Heidi as she awoke from her slumber. Despite this he found no joy or nor happiness. Heidi was in pain and he found it difficult to relieve the pain. All the old man could really do was stared back at the girl silently trying to think of what to say next. When the thought of something important reached his mind, the old man just had to ask it. "Heidi...you don't have to say anything...but I want to ask you a question...tell me....who is Crestatia?" the old man said.

Rage, sorrow, and all forms of emotions overwhelmed the teen as he rose to his feet and ran to the giant old man. Tears rushed down his face as he gripped the old man's shirt with a tight grip "DON'T LIE, ALTAIR CANT DIE, HE WOULD NEVER LEAVE US, NEVER! I'LL KILL YOU IF YOUR LYING TO ME" Casey yelled in anguish as he lowered his head "say something....SAY SOMETHING YOU DAMN OLD MAN! TELL ME THIS IS SOME SICK JOKE, TELL ME ALTAIR WILL BE RUSHING IN WITHOUT A CARE IN THE FUCKING WORLD" Casey yelled looking up at the old man's cold face. There was nothing but silence, and Casey knew...this was reality. Letting go of the old man he rushed out and ran, he didn't know where he was going but he just ran.

Marina was gone and now Altair was too. The two people that he cared for, his dear friend and the guy who was like a precious brother, they were out of his life and abandoned him. Ever since his birth he got everything he wanted, toys, money, love, but the thing he always desired and treated with the greatest love was his connection to his friends and family. He couldn't believe they were dead and despite all the obvious signs, his being refused to believe it. He chose to reject the harsh reality of the world and live in ignorance...but his mind could only hold so much.

He found himself outside and immediately as the cold winds blew against him, fatigue reached him. Falling to his knees, Casey began to cough and hold his stomach. His gastric juices rose up his throat and his eyes began to burn with tears. Pain from all over assaulted the teen both psychically and mentally. He wanted it to end, he wanted to wake up and get a fortune from Marina or duke it out with Altair. He just wanted everything to return back to the way things were. His mind and body reaching the breaking point, Casey soon collapsed fully on the ground and fell unconscious. Casey would soon be scooped up by the father that had been searching for his child that had run off. With that the man took his son to the room they were staying at and placed the boy away to sleep.

There was nothing the old man could say to the boy or the girl he called his granddaughter. The thud of the girl's body hitting the ground reached his ears and the man glanced over at the girl. Picking up the girl's body, the old man immediately rushed out of Altair's room. The trip was as fast as could be and by the time he reached the hospital, Heidi was taken in and taken care of by the doctors. Soon enough after her well being was taken care of, the old man entered the room that she slept unconscious in. Silently the old man took a seat by the side of her bed and sat beside the girl. Closing his eyes the man held her hand gently. Tears that had never fallen for years suddenly began to run down the old man's face as he sat with his granddaughter. "Please...please don't die...." The old man said tearfully. He knew that the girl would not die now, but the man that had lost almost everything still pleaded that the final person that kept him alive would manage to outlive him and live a long life. Throughout the night he sat by his granddaughter's bedside and waited for her awakening.

Marshal closed his eyes silently as he took the bandages from Casey and head over to Heidi in order to tend to her wounds. "We will be taking you back to get this fixed...Casey....I want you to take a seat" the old man said not even replying to the question that Heidi asked him.

Listening to the man's words, Casey nervously wiped the tears out of his eyes and nodded as he took a seat on a nearby chair. His granduncle always was a cheerful but gruff old man, but now the man was cold and near emotionless. This brought Casey fear and the boy just couldn't do anything else but sit there. Where was Altair? Altair always made things much more pleasant. He desperately wished for Altair to rush in yelling something about how the man was being to grim and that he was being an idiot. This was the perfect time for Altair to burst in and give the man a flying kick to the face or comment about Casey's pink hair, but no matter how much he wished it, it would never come true.

The old man simply used the bandages and tied the girl's body with them. Not a word was ushered as the process took place and the old man merely just did what he had to do. Once the process was done the old man closed his eyes and finished the job. Taking a few steps away from the two teens the man stood before them with his back facing them. "Altair is never coming home again....he broke his promise to me and passed away before me" the old man said. There was no emotion what so ever, no sorrow nor rage, he just stood there and said it. He felt that it was best the two learned about it now before a much worse time.
