They didn't make any sense!! He'd been staring at them for so long now they were all starting to blur together and give him a headache. This was annoying. He was never any good at code breaking, though he couldn't say he'd ever really tried to do it before. He was good at practical stuff, not analysing numbers. Anthony took him by surprise when he commented on it, he hadn't even heard the boy come in. "You know about it? And um no, not yet. It's frustrating." He admitted, turning round from his screen. Google had failed him. As he looked at the boy, it was still a bit weird. Turns out he'd been body swapped too but something had happened to his original body, leaving him stuck in this one. It sucked really, his original body had suited him better but then again it would. It had given him a hell of a shock when he'd first found out, he understood as he'd been body swapped too but wow. He didn't know what he'd of done if he'd have been stuck like a girl, it had been fun for the few days it had happened but forever?? No, he much preferred his own body. Either way, he liked Anthony. "Um, do you feel up for a snowball fight at some point, or going sledging, or building a snowman, I don't mind. It just seems a shame to not make the most of it while it's here. I um kinda pranked a load of people in my classes with it and now they're sick of the sight of it. It's understandable but not a lot of fun." He shrugged, "No rush at all, just any time you want to, just give me a call."
And here came another day of classes, this really was going to get repetitive and it was only his second day back in classes. Still if that email was true then he wouldn't have too long to worry about that. He didn't really care though, he'd long accepted his death. If he was going to die then he was going to die, no use worrying about it. How would that help? It wouldn't. You just get on with life and if he dies he dies. End of story. He didn't care for any stupid goddesses or something, they weren't going to control him. His life was his own, they could kill him but they couldn't stop him living. However, that's not to say he didn't get bored and curious. So he'd got a new computer for Christmas, which was lucky considering what he'd done to his old one, and with it he'd got photo manipulation software. He'd got up that email and enlarged the small print, that had been easy enough. The only problem was that it was in code. He just had to crack the code. He'd not managed that quite yet, he'd got it scribbled down all over but as yet had not managed to work out it's secrets. It would only be a matter of time though, he'd get it eventually. He wasn't sure what he'd do with the information, considering he really didn't care for any of it, it depended on what it said. If it was useless he'd probably just bin it with the satisfaction of cracking the code.
Thanks~ Admittedly it's possibly the best one I could of missed as I can do it out of the scheduled times and don't have to turn up but I don't...
Hmm, let me thing about that....No.
I can't do programming!! I don't understand any of this. I missed my lecture because nobody told me it had been moved times and now I can't make sense of it. :(
My phone is kinda dead. In the libary doing programming since I missed the lecture this morning, nobody told me it had moved!!!!
Though it must be said, he's more of a teddy bear than a grizzly bear bear. I can't imagine him as a big huge scary bear bear.
Matt collapsed in a heap on his bed. Today had been a loooong day. He'd got lost multiple times finding classes but had somehow managed to get to them all on time. The classes themselves had actually gone okay, he understood what was going on and he wasn't feeling too out of his depth. Yeah, he could manage with these ones. His new class mates seemed alright too, they didn't seem like jerks to him currently. He was going to have a lot of fun pranking them, hopefully they had a good sense of humour. Either way he was drained and was asleep virtually the moment his head hit the pillow.
Matt studied his timetable intently, it was weird being in school again but being in a new place didn't really phase him any more. His education was screwed up enough with having to spend 6 months in one school and 6 months in another. It was what came with parents splitting up and one moving to the other side of the planet, yet both still wanting to spend time with him. So there came the arrangement to spend 6 months with his mum in England and 6 months in the US, here with his dad. Although admittedly this time round he wasn't really spending it with his dad but that couldn't be helped. Needless to say it had screwed his education up thoroughly. Back in England he'd already finished school, they finished at 16 and he'd managed to get himself onto an apprenticeship with someone who could work around him being away 6 months of the year. He'd actually really enjoyed that, he was much better at the hands on practical stuff than the school work and it gave him skills to actually get a job with. It was a shame he wouldn't live to return. The only problem with that was though that it meant when he returned to America and school work, he was really behind as he'd chosen not to continue that in the 6 months he was in England. It made him look really stupid when he actually wasn't, he'd just not been there to learn the stuff, he'd learnt different things instead that none of these kids could do. He'd not chosen many classes and had carefully picked the ones he had, at least he got the choice. Either way, the holidays had been good, he'd had so so much fun and not a care in the world. He'd spent a lot of time with Zoey and got even closer to her, he liked just hanging around her. They'd managed to sort out all her Christmas presents despite her initial panic and all had turned out well in the end. He'd set up a lot of pranks and made himself a reputation. New years had been fun too, it just seemed a shame to be returning to school. Ah well, he guessed all good things had to come to an end. It had been great but for now he just had to figure out this map to see where it was. Why did they have to make it so confusing??
[/url]It seemed like in the minutes following her arrival, everyone ended up turning up in the kitchen, just by chance. Coincidences were quite awesome sometimes. It appeared Apostle had seen her and chased after her, she hadn't seen him but then again she'd been a bit preoccupied and hadn't had chance to look back. That just amused her and she was glad that she'd been able to stay ahead of him the whole time and he hadn't caught her. Her sure could really move when she wanted it to, though it had taken a while for her to master and to be able to go that fast without falling or smashing into a building. She was pretty sure anybody else would have died from some of her accidents while she was learning, thank god for her healing abilities. Either way, she was just happy that she could do that now and give him a challenge. Spirit caught the can Runner threw at her, thanking him quietly and proceeded to drink it while listening to what everyone else said. The cold liquid tasted so good, she'd needed that. She listened to their answers to her questions, nodding, genuinely interested and watched how Shadow arrived. But for the most part she just listened, while enjoying her drink. However, the moment Dragoness entered the room, her face lit up, she'd been hoping she'd see her close friend today. They'd been friends for a long time now and they were some of the few people to know eachother's actual identities. She'd been one of the people to teach her how to get by as a 'regular' person and she'd do anything to protect her younger friend. However, the new person who she entered with surprised her, she hadn't expected a new member of the Allies but then again she guessed it couldn't be a bad thing. She'd have to make an effort to get to know this new girl and hopefully she'd get a new friend out of it. Although, that name, it seemed awfully long and hard to remember, she would have to find a way to shorten it. Either way, as it came time to introduce herself, a big grin spread across her face. "It looks like the entire team's here now, what are the chances. Anyway, hey, I'm Spirit, healer and protector. It is an absolute pleasure to meet you, I hope we can become friends." She bowed her head slightly to the new girl as she spoke in a polite way. "And Dragoness, we're great, thanks" She answered her friend in a much less formal way, her face beaming.
Wait, what? Please don't ban me!!! I'm not a bot, honest!! These are awesome but seriously was not expecting to see my name at the bottom.
This is just silly. They all joined on the 28th of October 2012, all have 0 post and like count, all male and 25+.
Matt grinned so much at her reaction, and it was like a weight had been taken off his shoulders by the fact she actually liked it. "Hey, hey, don't worry about actually getting me anything. I don't care about stuff and trust me, your reaction was more than enough. Thank you. Anyway, you were saying you have no presents? I think I might be able to solve your problems. Hey, come with me." Grabbing onto her hand, he led her back to his room, "You see if I'm completely honest I still don't know that many people here so I don't really have anyone except you to get presents for. Thing is, my mum doesn't trust my organisational skills and thinks I have tons of friends so she kitted me out with presents who I have nobody to give to. Really by not being prepared you'll do me a favour." It didn't take him long to kit her out with presents. Despite getting that sorted pretty quickly, he stayed with her, he didn't want to be alone on Christmas. His grin didn't leave his face all day, he had such a good time. They messed about and joked and it was as if nothing mattered. They could forget about their short life spans and just have a good time. If you were going to live in constant fear, what was the point in prolonging your pain? No, enjoy every day as it came and when he died, he died, that was that. He just wished he could protect Zoey from everything bad. Either way, it was a good Christmas and there wasn't anyone else that he'd rather spend it with. They spent the entire day together, just having a good Christmas before finally sharing a heartfelt hug, saying goodnight and retiring for the night. He went to sleep with a smile on his face, today had been a good day.
I'm more or less happy with my new one. (I study physics) All these are lectures bar the tutorials, labs and programming. Happy. :)
o.0 Um um I'll pass?
That's awesome, I wish I could give blood but I can't because my veins are too small. When I tried to they had a lot of difficulty even finding a vein and when they did find one, it was too small so that it would have clotted before they got a full bag.
"Aghhh!!" Matt cried out as Zoey hurtled straight into him, though somehow as he fell he managed to keep the present intact. He smiled upon seeing Zoey and that widened into a grin upon seeing her reaction to him. He did love her reactions to things and her attitude, it was entertaining. Though when she started to panic, he simply put a hand on her shoulder. "Zoey. Slow down. Calm down. Everything's going to be okay, you hear me? I did promise after all. There isn't any point going shopping as the shops will be shut but don't worry. I think I might just be able to help you out. Just calm down, okay?" He smiled reassuringly at the girl he cared so much about. "I'll sort you out with presents in a moment but first, there's something I need to do." "Merry Christmas Zoey, you've been one of the best friends I could have wished for and I hope you have the best Christmas ever. Thank you for everything.", as he said that he revealed the small but beautifully wrapped present from behind his back and presented it to her. "I hope you like it, it took a lot of deciding upon." He could feel the back of his neck get hot and he was physically shaking. Why was he this nervous? He shouldn't be this nervous. He was being silly. But he just watched her ever so carefully, awaiting her reaction.
