I'll bite your tender buttocks, baa.
I thought to ask the same, but people make similar such threads every day. There is no point in asking, they probably do not bring it up for any reason really, perhaps it is a story to tell; something to talk about. That's all.
You live in FL. By any chance, not in Miami? Do you? Be on the look out for naked men craving human flesh, strange happenings as of late.
Why? . . .
Shiver me timbers, ain't I scary.
And I'm a troll, butt-naked and wispy-haired.
And then you debunk their beliefs, don't you? Sinister. People shoving their beliefs down others' throat, and they don't even realise that there are far more effective ways of convincing others otherwise. It activates a gag reflex, most will not listen to such blabbering... they do it for their own benefit, probably, if they did it for us then they would take notice of our reflexes. If only they would pay attention, for once...
Are you joking? I am not so picky at all, with the exception of meat no food gets my blood boiling, and even the few dislikes listed are questionable. I've a few more foods that I did not think of; mustard, mayonnaise, mushrooms, eggplant. And I thought I was perhaps one of the more compromise-able posters here, given that I like most vegetables/fruits. Broccoli, celery, beans, asparagus, tomatoes, etc. are all delicious. I see where confusion may have been aroused... when I said "anything and everything besides meat", I meant that I will eat most other things. Not that I dislike everything but meat. Am I still picky with that in mind?

Anything and everything besides meat (fish included). I do not like the texture of mangoes, and have only had it a few times in my life; I might not go out of my way to eat it, but it is not especially awful. I cannot think of anything... there are plenty of foods I am indifferent to, most spaghetti usually. Apples are protein, force 'em down 'cause they're good for you. They are rather tasteless. I like tofu if coupled with a main dish, a side, an add-on. Oh, I know. Olives. I am rather averse to them and avoid them, and ironically, olive green is a favorite hue.

Thnx, now I know how this fic came to be...
I stepped out into the sunlight and squinted, pupils widened and hissed. The sun, it burned, it hurt! My transition into a fully-fledged Vampyr had almost complete. I had stepped out of an eye clinic, my eyes dilated not a few minutes prior. I thought myself a goner, o God what had done to me? The symptoms mimicked that of a vampirization...

To write for the sake of personal or cultural value, to write with hopes of attaining glory: now that is what is stupid. You also seem to be under the impression that all rps necessarily branch off of another work. This is not the case, there are plenty of originals out there. If I am correct, role-plays tend to be enacted in script format. That is not necessarily a waste of time, plenty of stories begin fleshless. Scripts may be fleshed out later for public viewing. It seems stupid, to rule out role-plays as a "waste of time". To rule out anything as a waste of time is stupid, faulty logic. Who are you to choose what or what not anyone's spent time is?
Rping requires your direct interference, attention. Is that why there is no appeal? Books require less of your attention span, less effort...
I used to RP, back in the day-- is this a real shocker? I understand the appeal, but I don't believe I've the creativity for it. Perhaps all I'd need to do was give myself a kick in the rear, sputter, allow the gears to turn... it's been too long. Imaginations should not be left to rot. If you cannot understand the appeal, then I believe you have even less of an imagination than me. That is like not knowing why kids pretend, why reality is boring. I guess RPers are just that, people tired of reality. I cannot say with confidence that this applies to all, but it did apply to me. Reality is, like, sooo outdated.
No reason to get all defensive, I agree. You are blessed to speak the tongue of... the numbers, the whizzes of our society. Math. All it is to me is squiggly lines, scribbles on a piece of paper. I can barely understand it, let alone "speak" it (and if I ace any test, it is because I am memorizing. that is, as with any other language, not learning). Mathematicians form a closed society, and I would like in on this exclusive group. I guess such is the case with all speakers, though, anyone who does not speak their tongue is left out. It's sad. I want in. Think of all the wonderful conversations to be had.
