♛ REAL TALK: I'm getting married next month [ some of you know that, some don't ] and I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to invite my father to come. For those that don't know, I haven't spoken to him in several years. He did a lot of terrible stuff after my parents divorced and there came a time where I wanted nothing to do with him. I by no means want to make amends and reconnect, but it's my wedding and I never imagined him not being there. However, I know that if I invite him there will more than likely be drama because it's going to be a very small ceremony -- only about a dozen people. I really just don't know what to do at the moment because it's just under a month away so I have to decide quickly, but I don't want to regret my decision...

♛ It's not that the sake was actually creamy, it just had a creamy white color to it. The kind we tried was a fairly cheap price as well, but it wasn't like lighter fluid by any means. Weird. It was smooth so I'm not sure why there would have been such a major difference, other than brand.

♛ When we tried Sake we didn't think it was bad. It was smooth with no burn or anything. The creamy color of it was strange, but that's what you get when you're drinking rice wine I guess.

♛ My mom has never been a fan of anime by any means, but she enjoys cartoons and if she sees me watching it, she'll ask what my 'Japanese cartoon' is about. Also when I went to a convention in October I had told her I would be gone for the weekend because of it and she was all "you should invite your brother, you know he likes that stuff too." I did not invite my brother, but moral of the story is that she understands my interest in 'backwards comics and Japanese cartoons.' Also, @burnitup, another good streaming site is lovemyanime.net I pretty much only use that site and highly recommend it.

^ This. I feel like a lot of children are too spoiled these days with technology. The only gaming system we had in my house for the first half of my life was the classic NES and half the time we weren't allowed to touch it because my dad was afraid we would wreck it. I grew up with a tv in my bedroom, but I didn't have my first cellphone until I was 13 and I only got it because I used my own Christmas money to buy a prepaid phone. My children will be allowed to have nice things, but not until they reach an age that seems appropriate. I get seriously ticked when I see 9-yr-olds with iPhones. They don't need them.
