"Give it time Mickey... I know you'll save them all." He looked at the strange design of the castle. "With each gem you find, some one will return to you. But they are currently sleeping in a core memory. You see, everything that is or ever was, can be salvaged with a memory. And that's what this castle is Mickey. Memories and Illusions designed to tamper with your mind. The sorceress can not be so easily defeated. She is protected by five guardians. Each more powerful than the last." He looked back to the crystal in Mickey's hands. "But with the help of those trapped in the gems, I know you'll find your way..." He began to walk away from the castle and looked up as he dove into thought. "You always do," he sighed. "But you won't be alone. While the witch has prevented my interference, you'll have the help of that friend. The higher you climb, the more friends you will free. But be careful... This castle also pits you against your darkness and most hidden fears." He stood parallel from Mickey and looked to him. "Remember that the castle won't let you leave until you've conquered your darkness and saved your friends... Your mission ends once all 10 of you are safely united."
Light footsteps were heard as a man in a white Cloak exited the woods and showed up behind Mickey. "There you are," The voice spoke from behind the mouse. "I was wondering where you had scampered off too." He glided along the dust filled pathway as he made an abrupt stop before looking down at him through his hood. His stature was much smaller in comparison, as he towered over him. "You look confused... well that's too be expected I guess." He extended his hands wide in a gratious greeting. "My name is still a mystery to even myself, but you may call me Dreamer. And while you may not trust me, believe me... I am a friend." He went down on one knee with his cloak flowing along to reveal more white pants and booths beneath the white coat. "I understand you must have a lot of questions, and we'll have time for all of them." He reach into his coat pocket and pulled out a glowing red crystal. "But for now, we have a bigger task to deal with it." He lowered the crystal into mickey's hands to get a better view of it. "An evil sorceress has imprisoned nine people inside this castle, including Minnie and several of your other friends. Her ability to manipulate memory is preventing me to rescue them myself." The red crystal shimmered in Mickey's hands. "That there is the Red Crystal Gem. It holds the very essence of some one you know. It is a set of seven that a witch has created after capturing poor Minnie." He got off his knee and stared up at the looming castle. "And right now they are all trapped until they can be saved..." "Do you understand so far?..."
MICKEYJUNK MOUNTAIN "KAIDAAAA!" Hikaru let out a ferocious cry as he used all his strength to pullhimself out of the ground. Black ink stained on his arms and shirt as he used what little upper body strength he could to hop out of the dripping hole. He was too late as sad as it was since Kaida has already vanished without a trace. This would be the second time he failed his friend, and he was about to lose another as Glen called out to him. "Hikaru! Brother, help me!" he called out. Hikaru spun around to see Glen being thrown from the jaws of an inkling tiger into one of the opened up holes in the ground, disappearing from his very eyes. "GLEN!" He called out, reaching his hand to the already disappearing portal. That made two friends he'd just lost. While he knew they weren't dead, he knoew some one was hunting them and gathering them for something sinister. "Hey! Lemme go!" Mickey cried out, as small inkling creatures began to smear ink on him, to absorb him and pull him away from the scene like the others. While the holes were vanished, the monsters continued to invade. Too many of them to defeat on his own. And as Glen demonstrated, they couldn't be simpy slashed at like the heartless. While the monsters were special, they were still ink. Like creatures made out of black, thick water. Like liquidized gum almost. He looked around to see if something could counteract it, as Hikaru dashed along through the horde and took Mickey's hand to run with him. The small splat themed creatures followed in a slow, zombie like manner. He carried Mickey with one arm and looked back at the creatures chasing him and the giant heap behind them. He summoned his keyblade and kept mickey behind him. Leaning his shoulder back he looked up at the mountain. "Long..." He propped a thumb up into the air to aim at a weak point in the mountain. "Live..." He sprung back his shoulder with keyblade and hand, before letting it loose in a powerful swing of a strike raid. "The King!" He cried out as the keyblade split right into the mountain, causing a collapse of item to tumble down like an avalanche. He grabbed Mickey again and dove into the cave as the ground rumbled and items fell from the heap. One after another until it just splattered all the inkling creatures in a cascade of Mickey's old things. Mickey and Hikaru were in the cave inside the mountain which let loose on the other side. The path behind them being covered in rubble.

You see, this all takes place in a universe where all the lands are divided into separate worlds. Worlds that wouldn't even think twice about you or I. Don't take it personally, they just don't know any better... However some of the people in those worlds, seek for something more. To chase after their dreams, embrace change, and expand their horizons. Now let's say these people were in grave danger of being erased, and forgotten. The people scattered among the hundreds of worlds, all unknowingly about to be swallowed away by a looming darkness. Do you think you would go out of your way to save them all? Some of them may be cowards, or villains, but they're still people. People who need help. The goal of our heroes was to explore the worlds, and save the people who needed their help. This task was assigned to a group of nine very special heroes. All under the leadership of a certain special mouse... Speaking of which, that's where our story begins. Our mouse friend; Mickey, is a little lost right now. Let's check in on him, shall we?
~NOTE TO ALL PLAYERS~ At this time, you will have all realized that you cannot fight the ink creatures since you are just slashing at ink. You will also notice black shadows creeping beneath you to open up and suck you away to an unknown location. At this time, you have one of two choices; 1) Fight the blotlings ineffectively (Read ventureland below to find out why), dodge the ink portals, and retreat 2) Get captured. If you have not posted by Friday, you will be captured without choice. --------------------------------------------------------- VENTURELAND "That's the problem," Oswald sighed. "These things aren't like any monster from your world... they can't just be beaten with a keyblade." His face dropped down a bit as he held up his shimmering dark hand to the other three. As he held his palm out and open to show them, small droplets of black ink eroded out of his skin and hovered into the air above his hand. "It takes a blot to beat a blot... If you aren't made of ink, you'll never be able to hurt them..." He clasped his hand so that the drops of ink would sink back into his skin when he did so. "I underwent an experiment that the mad doctor cooked up... He injected me with some ink temporarily so I could fight them. Now, only I can stop them," he frowned. "The rest of the forgotten citizens here are too scared to fight. I only have a handful of gremlins at my side, and even if you wanted to help, you can't!" He took a pause to try and regain his composure. "It's been like this for 3 years. That's when the big spill happened. The phantom blot gained a surge of ink power and has terrorized wasteland with it. It was that day that the blot wars began..." He looked down to the ground as his ears perked up. Something wasn't right as a small dark shadow began to form beneath D'daear. "Look out Dare!" he yelled, tackling him. The rabbit leapt at the boy in time for him to stay out of harms way once a black hole appeared beneath him. Not the kind you'd see in space, but a plitch black hole made of ink that would have dragged him to who knows where! "It's he blot! He knows you're here." Oswald brought out both keyblades as he sniffed out the small ink creatures approaching. "Get outta here!" I'll hold em off!" --------------------------------------------------------- MICKEYJUNK MOUNTAIN "Kaida has a point," Hikaru pointed out. It was hard to look at her without telling her of all the events that happened back at Central Haven with Seiza. He was just happy to see her safe and sound again. While there was still a lot they had to talk about, he did as he always did and put his own personal matters aside to focus on the mission. "We went to certain parts of Mickey's memories. Whether if it's the past or future, something should spark what they're doing here." He looked back up to Mickey was making his own heap of things from stuff that belonged to him. "Hey Mickey! Have you been here before?" Mickey stopped what he was doing and turned to them. "Not that I know..." he pondered. "I mean gosh... I haven't even seen this much ink since..." his joyful glare diminished into a haunting expression. "Since what?" Hikaru asked in concern. Mickey turned to face Hikaru as his eyes widened. "H-hey... why's your shadow darker than the others?" he noticed. Hikaru crossed his arms and pouted. "Hey, don't change the subjeeeeEEEEEeEEEE-" His voiced trailed as a wide hole opened up beneath him. He almost fell straight through before catching the very edge of the hole. He struggled to hold on, but was beginning to slip as the hole's entirety was wet. "Is this... ink?!" he asked, slipping quickly. Small inkling creatures known as blotlings began to jump out of the heap and began to corner around the group. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TOMORROW CITY "Oh I'm afraid I don't know of the whereabouts of any others my boy." Gus apologized to Stratos. "As far as empowerment is concerned, our leader Oswald decided to go under a special treatment courtesy of the mad doctor. He became an inkling version of himself. It was successful, but alas, we don't know how long it will last..." he sighed. "It only works once, the doctor said," Gus repeated before whirling round to pat him on the back. "But don't fear. I'm hoping we'll find a new way of ridding him once and for all. "We just need to find oswald and-" Before he could finish, black holes appeared beneath the group as ink creatures began to surround the area. "Oh no... more of them!" Gus cried out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LONESOME MANOR Horace twiddled his hooves as he looked around. "I've been trying for a few hours, and you folks are the first I've seen in some time..." He couldn't talk for long before holes sprouted around the group and inkling creatures jumped in through the creepy painted along the wall. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DARK BEAUTY CASTLE The mad doctor grinned as he fondled with his mustache. "No my green haired one. You've just misunderstood! Your presence here is going just exactly as it should! The phantom blot requires many hearts to be set free, And the fact that you all are not ink is just the key." While the Mad Doctor prattled on, outside the castle, Kross received an unwelcomed gift of blotlings surrounding him to capture him.

Previously on Kingdom Hearts SOS... Spoiler "Rin..." Yue blurted out. She gave a quick sniff of the air and gritted her teeth. "You have her scent..." "Hmm? What makes you say that?" she giggled, summoning her keyblade just in case. "But... why would... why would you work with them?!" She was still trying to fathom how her best friend was working for them. "Tsk tsk, never was a good listener, so I'll ask again. Why do you think I was a member to begin with?" "It begins to make more sense," Lea observed. "All our knowledge of technology, the worlds and princesses had to be stolen from our archives. Archives that only a member of the order-" "STOP IT!" Yue shouted. "I don't care if she has the same voice and skill set, that's not Rin!" Nequa tilted her head and lowered her keyblade. "You really believe that don't you?" Yue took a few calm breaths before answering fearlessly. "I know Rin, and you're not her." "I see," she responded with equal neutrality. Dispersing her blade, she took both gloved hands and put them on both sides of her glowing purple helmet. "Just how sure are you?..." Both arms pushed the helmet ever so slightly until a small burst of pressure was heard escaping from under the mask. Lifting the helmet slowly over her head, allowing a cascade of flowing cyan colored hair to empty out, revealing her true face. Yue was at a loss for words as she lifted a side of the blindfold to see with her own eye at the truth she did not wish to conceive. "No..." A young woman of Yue's age, smiled back in the most haunting manner as she grinned from ear to ear joyfully, showing no remorse disdain. The woman standing before them was Rin. "Aww, Don't look so shocked sweetie. The other boy thought Aux would never betray him either. But the worlds are full of traitors. I was just yours." Her smile turned into a wicked grin as her orange-yellow eyes pierced through her friend's heart. Yue dropped her blindfold and clenched her teeth. Lea could see the rage she was building and tried to prevent it. Years in the Order as well as past experiences taught him a thing or two about emotional manipulation. If this really was Rin, she knew just what buttons to push. "This is what she wants. Whatever you do, don't-" "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!" Yue charge with speed against her traitor friend, to which she only replied with the same smile. "Never could keep your temper either." She opened a dark corridor and baited Yue to follow her through it with a flick of her wrist. Nequa passed through followed by Yue, leaving Lea to try and follow. Sadly the portal closed behind them before he could fully go through. "Man... always with the icky jobs," he told himself, trying to think of what to do next. All he had was the Gamma belt, which turned back the universal clock. Seeing as how the worlds were locked down, that would do him any good. His only other option was to use darkness. Something he hadn't used since his younger adult years. "Well when you can't do anything smart." He lifted a hand outward to summon a small dark portal. "Do something reckless." He put on his mask and walked into the portal, having it close behind him [Season 1] - Prologue - BEACON (Please note this Prologue is to prepare for the main storyline of this roleplay. An OC thread will be made when the time is right. Until then, only certain characters will be featured) Lea appeared along the other side of the dark corridor in a conflicted gaze. It had been so long since he had felt the realm of darkness surround him, that it would took some time to get used to. With a quick rubbing of his hands together, he swayed his arms back and forth as he began to stroll along. There was no sign of any life for quite some distance. Not even a heartless. "Of course," he sighed. "Don't even know where they went." He had opened and entered a portal into the realm without even thinking of where it would lead, or where Nequa would be baiting Yue to go. The path along the realm of darkness stretched for eons, and there was no telling just where they could have gone to. He figured at this point, he could either try and wander around like a lost animal, or do something about it. "Time to get to work." He proudly announced. Two weeks later... Lea's back lay sprawled out against the dusted path as he looked up into the nothingness of darkness, with his mask in one hand and arms stretched out. "OH GOD, WHY DOES EVERYTHING LOOK THE SAME!!" The once calm and relaxed Lea had surfaced into an impatient middle aged man that matched his older appearance. He scratched the back of his head as deep inner conflict continued to settle in. It had been two weeks since his search started, and he felt as hopeless as when he began. He needed a sign that there was something of light in this vast realm. He breathed deeply before sighing. "Why... Why do I always get stuck with the icky jobs?"
While I am against the theory, I would gladly accept it if they gave us an Epic Mickey book world haha.
Primarily with Xehanort's keyblade. Their master had the "Eye that sees the future" thing, and each of their keyblades had the blue eye on it. (As well as Riku's and Vanitas')
Actually pretty much agreed with this. KNowing Square it makes sense they'd throw it all into one last bundle before KH3 releases. Still happy with my PS3 copies, but I'd like to see just how great the difference is on PS4.
"Because the only things more powerful than Darkness, Light and the X-Blade are greed, laziness, and corporate synergy." Kudos on the series for keeping it's fanbase entertained until KH3 releases though.
Ths name kind of bothers me, but I'm sure I'll look past it once I start playing. Kingdom Hearts X will be features as to help people who won't be playing the mobile game understand the book of prophecy, lore of the keyblades, and all that other good stuff. I wish they'd given me more than just the back of Aqua's head for the new chapter... I know her story won't be too long, but I still want to play as HD Aqua dernit >:C

VENTURELAND Oswald's guard lowered at Beuce's response. "Yen Sid.... you know Yen sid?" Oswald dispersed lowered both his keyblades as his expression saddened. "I was my master..." He dispersed his keyblades as sadder memories flowed through his mind. "I was his first pupil when he became a keyblade mast y'know? He untrusted me with the keys that open the door to darkness..." He sat his little cotton tail down as he looked to the ground. ""Things were going really well until my world almost fell into darkness... When Yen Sid found out, he used this special ink to salvage what he could and restore us into this book.... We're basically the forgotten half of DisneyTown." His ears flopped downwards as he fell sorry for himself. "Things weren't too bad... that is until three years ago when the blot came..." Oswald pointed to a tall black mountain in the far off distance. "The Shadow Blot is a monstrous blob of ink, that tries to destroy anything that goes near it... And with the help of some of the people here Ive been able to hold him back. But he won't rest until he has my heart." He hopped back onto his feet as he began to explain. "since he's grown so big, he needs a lot of hearts to be able to leave the book. The only way out of here is by being well remembered by all, and the other is by the strength of your hearts... The Blot doesn't have a heart, and I'm guessing you guys do. My guess is that he sucked you all in here to take your hearts... But I don't know how he's gonna do it..." He turned to face the crew. "You said you had friends here right? Well, hurry and round em up! If the shadow blot is released, then the world outside our own won't be able to stop it!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TOMORROW CITY Well that's right and generous of you lot, but I'm afraid it just can't be done. You see, it's clear that you are a few of several visitors our scanner picked up that came falling from the outer world." The gremlin hovered over to Cailyn and began to take out the junk caught in her hair. He was a helpful sort and was grooming the young girl as he continued on. "This world you fell in is dubbed by us toons as "Wasteland." It is where all the forgotten remnants and places of DisneyTown lie now... And The Shadow Blot is one of the most vengeance seeking of us all..." He ruffled his mustache as took out a comb to brush Cailyn's hair once all the debris was relieved. "The Shadow blot is responsible for the inkling creatures you saw before. He didn't start out so massive, but 3 years ago, he gained an enormous amount of ink influence and began to lay waste to our world. If he's found a way to suck you all inside, then that must mean he's after your hearts... The Shadow blot cannot steal ours as we were converted to ink upon creation of the world... The only one of us with a heart is our lead; Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and he's been defending us the best he can." He patted Cailyn's hair as it was back to it's usual state. "He can only help us because he has special keyblads that cut through the ink's darkness... Youre's however won't suffice as you haven't been here long enough to fully absorb the ink. In a word... your weapons are useless here," he frowned. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LONESOME MANOR The ghosts thought for a minute and huddled in a very close group together. Whispering and giggling, as their heads kept peering above to chuckle at the newcomers. One of the taller ones presented himself in front of the group. "The fellas and I have come to a dignified and ever so elegant solution..." The other two stood beside him as they tiped their hats and yelled; "You figure it out!" in unison. They laughed on the back and pounded the floor, blowing raspberries before disappearing into the walls. "Darn ghosts... can't just leave a fella good enough alone..." Horace sighed. "Thanks for savin' by the way, Name's Horace!" He went out to shake his hoof with a sad expression. "It's okay if you don't remember me though, no one else does..." He tipped his hat to the three and examined them. "I'm guessin you folks are from the outer rim, huh? What brings you to our little forgotten world then?"
MICKEYJUNK MOUNTAIN "I'm Hikaru," the blue haired boy added, shaking the small mouse's hands. "What are you doing here, Mickey?" Glen asked. Mickey scratched his round head with his gloves hands in confusion. "Gosh if I knew... I remember switching back into my body... and then Mortimer opened the book..." "That's right," Hikaru interrupted. "We were al sucked into this..." Hikaru looked at the pile of junk next to him as he peered in uncertainty. "Wasteland." Mickey's ears lifted in worry as a terrible thought entered his mind. "Oh no! What about Minnie and Pluto! A-and everyone else! We gotta make sure they're okay!" Mickey was about to bolt when Hikaru grabbed him by the ear. "Whoa, slow down there a minute... the black thing that came after the book only came after us, Mortimer and-" he paused to look at the small mouse. "You." Mickey looked up with shock. "Why us though?" Hikaru looked at Kaida and Geln for some kind of answer, when he looked down at Glen's keyblade. "Maybe it's since we're all wielders," he thought momentarily. Mickey seemed confused. "Wielders? Wielders of what?" Hikaru pointed at Glen's weapon. Mickey looked at it, inspecting it carefully. "Haha, well that doesn't seem to practical!" Hikaru's eyebrows furrowed as he knelt down to Mickey's level. "It's a keyblade.... You don't know what that is?..." "Nope! Never head of it! But I know mortimer had something similar when..." Mickey gasped. "Wait! Mortimer's still here! And if I know him, he's probably trying to find his way out! We gotta beat him to it!" Hikaru rose to his feet, still unsettled by Mickey's lack of knowledge of their weapon. He could have sworn he read that Mickey had a keyblde. While he was contemplating the thought, Mickey had begun to climb the tower of junk. "Come on! We gotta hurry! We just gotta... gotta..." Mickey stopped climbing at six feet before pulling out a yellow shoe from the pile. "Wait a minute! This is mine!" He leaned back to take a closer look at the pile. Video games, toys, pictures, momentos. They were all lost things of his that somehow made it here. "It's all mine!" He said in shock. "I thought I lost all this stuff! Who would even want to steal it!" Hikaru wanted to know as well. He looked around the mounatin until an opening was found. "If we can't go over it, we can try and go through it then..."
I just really hope they don't end up doing too many micro transactions.
