She grinned as she peered into a pink, enchanted hourglass that was slowly releasing the sands from the top half into the bottom. "Besides, the spell is nearly halfway to completion. Your beauty and precious heart will soon be mine." She glided over to examine the four other mirrors in her room. Each one representing one of the domains for each master of illusion. "And perchance your Mickey does find the other five gems... that still leaves him with a dark looming problem..." She smiled as a dark shadow zipped past the halls to where Mickey, Pluto and Oswald were walking. "Mickey has been able to overcome many things. But there's one thing he refuses to fully conquer." The image of the dark shadowed stranger was revealed to Minnie and Mizrabel as a shadow version of Mickey himself! Shadow Mickey reached from behind his back and revealed a purple gem to which he placed in the path of the three wandering heroes. Disappearing before they could even spot him. The gem seemed legite, but why this 'Shadow Mickey' placed it for them, was still a mystery...
Wasteland halted at 42% Destruction. As the bloticles retreated back into the vat from whence it came, Mortimer was ignorantly paying mind to his own ego. The rest of the keyblade wielders were fighting off the blotlings, but four stood withing Mortimer's vicinity. "Wouldya look at this dump? Good riddance if yah ask me!" He folded his arms in disappointment as he prattled on, unaware he was being watched. "Now if I capable leader such as myself was runnin' things, we'd have a different story on our hands. Hehe, they'd have to make me king of course... and bow to me and my every whim! Bwahahaha- AAAHHH!" Mortimer's turnabout was startled as he finally took notice of Glen, Kaida, Beuce and Stratos behind him. "What the!- Hey wait a minute, didn't a keep you nimrods busy with..." He looked behind them as all the bloticles had been vanquished, and the Shadow Blot's army was beginning to dwindle. "Oh well that's just perfect! Old Morty finally has things going his way, and what should happen? Couple a kids with attitude try to take me down. What, no fancy uniforms? Maybe you can wear matching colors and have your own dorky little pose, Hahaha!" His chuckle was short lived as he was beginning to grow unamused. "Whats-a-matter, cat gotcha throat or something? Come on, these are the jokes kids!" Mortimer was stalling. He looked on to the Shadow Blot, who was having a difficult time on his own against Kel, Karina, Hikaru, Steel and D'daear. "Unbelievable. It's actually kind of refreshing to see a hub world not so bright. I don't know if that will change in the final product, but the chi version was so bright and lit up that to see it in a more bleak lighting kind of makes me admire it more. Also damn that cathedral/tower looking thing in the background looks hella awesome!
With the strength of Pluto's howl, Mickey was able to unleash one powerful Faithcharge attack that not only defeated the Grumpy Old Oak, but also dispersed the rest of his followers! The Oak's brk was beginning to peel as he was wilting away from that last attack. "Can't believe I was taken down by a couple o' rodents and a mangy mutt... heh. Guess that's what I get for being cocky." He looked to Pluto with an intrigued expression with his left eye having already faded. "Guess I shouldn't have underestimated you eh? hehe..." He waved a branch arm in front of his faded eye. "Dangit," he said, realizing his demise. "Mizrabel's magic must finally be wearing off. Shame... I was really hoping to get that there promotion before I kicked the bucket. But that's just the circle o' life I guess. I like to think that somewhere I might start again as a small weed. Not that it matters much to you I suppose. We were just obstacles in each other's way after all." His arms and legs were fully wilted and his nose had just snapped off. He was nothing but a rotting stump with one glowing eye and a mouth now. "It only gets harder from here... If you thought an enemy made out of wood was tricky... You ain't seen nothing yet. Mizrabel will never rest until she-" The Oak's final eye faded and his mouth sealed shut. The stump faded away in glimmers of light as they evaporated into the air. The Party obtained the Grumpy Old Oak Card! Mickey, it's Dreamer! I understand while the masters of illusion are apart of Mizrabel's Magic, they are still characters needing saving. I've given you a special gift that allows you to gain strength from the characters you meet and create a bond with. This strength comes in the form of cards! The Exit revealed itself allowing the party to move to a new hallway of the Castle of Illusion!
