Bonjour, Cassie. C'est Hay Sun, do you remember me? Is everything alright where you are? Where are you, anyway? There's a lot going on, and I'm looking for you. Well, we are. But don't worry about the others.
Oh fuck no I thought this angel shit was over and done with... I can calm down... its just Hay Sun...
Cassandra sat up in her bed and whispered into the phone, "Oy Hay Sun, I am glad to hear from you again I really am but it is extremely early in the morning."
"Cassiiiie, can you take your call outside of the room, out in the back would be best..."
Cassandra moved the phone from her mouth and replied back, "Calm down Lilly I am walking out..."
Cassandra left the room and walked down stairs and headed to the backyard, when she reached the 1st floor she put the phone back up to her ear and spoke as she walked outside, "Sorry for the silence... um, I am fine other then the attack in Manhattan. We had to evacuate, the building across the street was on fire and the people on the street we-"
Cassandra cut herself off, then she sat on a bench then continued, "I don't wanna talk about it anymore right now honestly... but we came up here to Albany with my roommate's family. So everything has been... okay other than replying to family. Enough about me though... you said you were looking for me? Are you in the U.S? Where are you? You don't have to answer any of it of course, but if you are in America, that must have been one hell of a flight check..."

Cassandra had gone through a lot of emails and family calls over the past 40 hours or so. Her parents wanted to make sure she was okay and she reassured them that she was up in Albany with her roommate safe and sound. Her mother said that they were all going down to Philadelphia with the family and asked her if she wanted to come along, which she rejected.
To try and get her from totally going nuts over the New York situation, Lillian dragged her out to a couple of places to at least get her to have some fun, which worked some of the time, but Cassandra was often back on her phone replying to family and friends.
Lillian had taken her out to a movie the night before, and they got back at around 1 in the morning. Cassandra was actually really tired for once and fell asleep, and at around 3:30 her phone starting ringing it's loud default ringtone and it woke up Lillian, who stared at the phone and then threw a pillow at Cassandra,
    "Answer the goddamn thing."
"...hm? sorry, I didn't know it was ringing."
She sluggishly grabbed at the phone and pressed the answer key, she didn't bother to check the number, if it was a robot she'd deal, and if it was a real person, they better have a really good reason to be calling, "Good morning, this is Cassie..."

Adam got himself out of the locker and headed down to the office, where the school receptionist sat impatiently, "Mister Pike we called you down 20 minutes ago."
Adam scratched the back of his head and smiled saying, "Sorry, I wasn't feeling too well and rushed to the bathroom on the way here."
"Did you go to the nurse afterwards?"
"No, I felt better as soon as I got out."
"The dean is waiting for you in his office."
    x
Adam walked slowly over towards the office and knocked on the door softly.
    "Come in Mister Pike."
Adam opened the door and without greeting the dean, took a seat in the chair. The dean tapped their hand on the desk and started speaking, "We heard a story this morning yesterday evening... something about the Richmond Manor?"
Fuck that is where the party was...
"We just wish to know if you knew anything about what happened to Renee Lorne ."
    x
He blinked, he really didn't know. But he was glad it had nothing to do with his drinking.
    "Sorry, I do not..."
"That is all we needed to know, please head back to homeroom before the be-"
    x
There was suddenly a loud crash and the room went dark, the dean walked over to the window and opened up the blinds, only to find out it was just as dark as it was inside. Then a sudden burst of light came and they shut the window, "On second thought, Mister Pike, please make your way to the auditorium. We will be having all the students and faculty gather there."
    x
Adam jumped up from his seat and left the office. Everything was dark, but he really did not care about that. He went in the opposite direction of the auditorium and walked over to the front of the school, on the inside, and sat near the large glass windows. The lightning in the air was frantic and scary. He backed up a couple of feet in fear and stared at the sky.
    x
    Well... that is... odd...

    Monday, September 30, 2013 | Day 9: 1/5 | Mood: Amused | Music | Location: School
    x
Adam walked into homeroom holding his head. A couple of kids were looking at him with a similar look in their faces and it was clear who was at the party last night. He would have lived if it was just a hangover, but unfortunately the person he shared bottles with had a cold and now he had it too. He was ready to kill him.
    x
    "Mister Pike?"
    "Hmm?"
    "Mister Pike?"
    "Um... Oh. Present."
    x
He placed his head down on the desk as the professor walked over and spoke, "Mister Pike you were being called down to the office, are you well?"
Adam stood up rubbing his temples, "Yes sir, I am fine, just lack of sleep... my father was frantically calling my family in America last night."
    "You have family in America?"
"Yes and since it was so late them there when they got attacked I was awake half the night making sure my father didn't go nuts."
"Mister Pike that attack happened at about 12pm yesterday for us, early in the morning for Americans."
"Well sir we didn't find out until late."
"Please just go to the office, Mister Pike."
    x
Adam grabbed his bag and headed out to the office and stopped when he saw Alana standing across from the room against the wall, appearing to be waiting for someone. 19 days 6 hours and 46 minutes ago.
    x
Adam walked up to her cautiously, since she did not appear to be paying attention anyway. He made sure to get at an angle the homeroom teacher wouldn't see him, and he walked up next to Alana, "You seem rather upset."
    x
Alana's head shot up quickly and she hit him and backed away, "Go away you pervert I don't want to talk to you."
"That was rather harsh all I did was want to talk..."
"That is all you want to do, talk, stare, make a move."
"Liar liar. But are you okay?"
"I already told you to go away."
"What happened to I still wanna be friends."
    "That wasn't what I said."
"Oh and what did you say hun?"
"I want nothing to do with you anymore you disgusting pig."
    "Oh right..."
    x
There was a long silence as the two both looked at the floor. Adam sighed and then looked up with a cocky grin on his face, "So what is wrong hun?"
"Just get the fuck out of here."
"Temper temper... a pretty girl like you shouldn't have your panties in such a bunch."
"If you are trying to win me back, you are doing a terrible job at it."
"Oh so I do have a shot at winning you back."
    "Like hell would I-"
"Aw come on, you always loved the little adventure little ginger root."
Adam quickly grabbed her hand, twirled her around although she resisted it and then she fell back into his arm and he whispered, "Je t'aime, mon petit chou-fleur."
    x
Alana then replied with a quick scream, Adam whispered, "Shit." and dropped the girl on the floor and checked the locker behind him which fortunately enough was unlocked and he climbed into it. He listened as a professor ran outside and asked, "Miss Holebrook, Is something wrong?"
"N-no, sorry sir, I just... fell."
    x
He heard the teacher walk away and whispered out to Alana, "I am as cunning as the fox, and gentle as a swan-"
"With the charm of a dead hog."
    "...Charming..."
    x
Alana opened up the locker and looked at him with an evil glare and spoke, "Little cauliflower?"
"What, that is common for the French..."
    "You sleep during French."
"I pick up on it quick enough for tests." he said as he did the cocky grin again, only to have Alana slam it on his face and he fell to the bottom of the locker shouting, "Ow the nose, why the nose?" and Alana walked away, and he heard the clicking of her heels disappear as she did.

    Age

The only time I like to rub my age in someone's face is when someone younger than me is taller than me and rubs THAT in. So if my cousin is all,"ha ha I'm taller than you" I just respond with "ha ha I'm 2 years older than you."

ooc: sorry Marushi I didn't notice until afterwards. But thank you so much for being flexible.
Meara realized nobody had followed her, maybe she wasn't paying as much attention as she had thought. She heard movement within the house, walking down a staircase it seemed, so she waited patiently but still cautious of her surroundings. She heard footsteps behind her albeit soft ones but still footsteps and she uickly turned her head
"Don't be afraid, My name is Rogan. This is my sister Alayah. We... well, we're more students, from this morning. Can we, um, stick with you for awhile? Power in numbers, and all that."
Oh weren't they just in that group a few minutes ago. She recognized the names and luckily could put the faces together with them. She would remember them easily and she smiled, "Hello I am Meara W-" she decided not to say her last name in case people heard. She then turned and spoke, "Yes, you can. I would just be glad not to be alone."
She heard the door slam open and a man with the face of a fox stood in the doorway. She stared for a moment as the face settled in as her familiar friend, "Zeke. Please help us."
The boy who stood at the door had long red hair and a fox-like face, which was why he transformed into a fox so often, he just was a fox. The boy held up his hands and did quick motions with them and then he stopped. Meara growled and then spoke, "Look I understand what could happen but we just need somewhere to be... please Zeke."
He did out the hand motions again, this time with more exaggeration on the words he had previously signed, "We won't be staying long enough for you to get hurt I swear on it."
The boy motioned again before Meara pulled out the folded knife and cut her palm and held the palm out towards him, "You have no need to swear on blood..." she listened to the dogs in his house bark and she giggled slightly, all of the dogs were dogs, why did he like dogs so much she never understood... she expected him to be a cat person.
Zeke accepted her hand and waved everyone in, moving his dogs out of the way. Meara turned over to
Alayah and Rogan and whispered, "Come on, it is okay."

They finally arrived in Albany and the first thing she witnessed was her roommate being swarmed by siblings. The younger ones were between the ages of 7 and 12 and the older ones had a decent gap between ages. Lillian was pulled into her house and Cassandra followed behind feeling slightly out of place although she had been at this home before for a holiday.
Lillian eventually got away from the clan and grabbed Cassandra and ran her upstairs to the 3rd floor and opened up a nice looking room, "This is the guest room, or it has been converted to that now that Sean no longer lives here... We will both be staying here, so I am going to give you the choice... the bed, or the futon." Cassandra watched Lilly keep eying the bed, so she gave in and answered, "I'll take the futon."
When bed time had rolled around, Lillian had fallen asleep very quickly, while Cassandra was still traumatized. How the hell did she do it, did she just ignore all the bad in order to have a goodnight sleep? Then Cassandra remembered the family problems Lillian said she had to take care of the night before. Cassandra pondered it for a while, were the family problems taken care of, already addressed maybe? Cassandra decided to ignore it and looked around the room.

The remnants of the male sibling were present. A couple band posters for bands she had never heard of, and the paint job of the room was pretty artistic. They painted the wall completely black and then splattered paint all over the walls. It was something she would have done to her own room.

Cassandra continued to browse through her phone, answering messages, checking the news. The tower did not collapse on her house luckily, but it still collapsed. So all of her things stayed intact and she could go back and collect it or move back in when cleanup was over, which could take a couple of weeks based on all of the smoke from some of the collapses. Not as much as when the twins collapsed, but enough to cover up that section of the city.

When she was done, she put her phone down next to her, and curled herself into a ball and tried to sleep, failing so many times but still managing to fall asleep for even a few minutes at a time.

When their ride arrived, Cassandra was given the right side of the middle seats. It was a decent sized van, about 8 seats. Lillian rode up front with her father who came to pick them up and they both chatted away before everything became silent. Cassandra looked around at all the toys in the car. Lillian was one of 7 children, the oldest of all 7 unfortunately for her. She was 23, two years younger than Cassandra, but Lillian was still the one who owned the legal rights to the apartment, Cassandra was just under a Craigslist roommate agreement, but at least they were good friends.
Cassandra leaned her head against the car door for a while, watching the scenery roll by as they hit the highway and the landscape of the country portion of the state showed.
    "He rises?"
Cassandra jumped from her seat as she saw Lillian's dad eying her while he was driving and Cassandra said, "Huh?"
"He rises, I was telling Lillian how that is still all we know about the hijacker, we don't know if there is more, and we may never know. I am just surprised they aren't keeping planes grounded and shooting down fliers."
    "Dad!"
"What I am just being honest, at least most terrorist groups come out in pride and say that they did it. No one has come out yet, and that scares me. They could attack more pl-"
"Dad that is all terrorists do, strike terror into people."
"Well they did I good job didn't they... that voice sounded like something straight out of Hell."
Cassandra blocked out the rest of the conversation and pulled her phone out of her pocket and went to her website page and added a bulletin to the top.
Cassandra then put her phone away and grabbed the piece of plane and pulled it out of her pocket. It was a piece of the wing and she still had no idea why she bothered to bring it with her. Was it something she thought she could use as a conversation piece? She had no idea. She put the piece back into her pocket and dozed off outside again.

One of the only good things she believed she received from sitting in a church, was that because there was a good amount of people there, when they finally allowed evacuations, one of the first trucks to get them off the island arrived at the church they were in. Everyone managed to fit in, and they got everyone off long island in a decent amount of time, but they were only told to get them off the island and into New York state. So once they were brought to New City, they were dropped off and the truck left.
People passed around phones to contact families while others ran to buses hoping to get home on those. Unlike 12 years ago not everything seemed to be in lockdown. Maybe it was because America was so used to it. Cassandra looked up at the sky and could see the smoke from Manhattan in the sky. She was paying so much more attention to that, that when Lilly tapped her shoulder she jumped.
"I called up my mom and dad, they said they can drive down and pick us up, and we can stay with them in Albany. Is your family doing alright?"
    Crap
Cassie realized she hadn't called to check up on her parents, but then calmed herself down when she remembered they were in Brooklyn. Then she remembered they were having the memorial for Daniel. SO half of her family was on Long Island. She assumed they would be okay.
    "Yeah, they are doing fine..."

Lillian had stayed in her pew as Cassandra stood near the doorway. She kept peaking outside for the sake of curiosity, but hated it every time she did. There was always something she didn't want to see. A crying family, the smoke in the air from burning buildings, either way she couldn't handle it, it reminded her too much of the past. At the same time, she couldn't help but look back.
Cassandra listened as the priest went and stood up and started prayers. He did not formally start off a mass, it was more of a time of prayer. She understood it was because the city was supposed to be under a lockdown, but she knew people couldn't live without their holy day, especially on a day like today.
She closed her eyes and listened to the man attempt to bring their spirits to God, but it wasn't working for her, so she quickly gave up, and rudely pulled out her phone to answer texts from people who were freaking out over her safety. She gave them all quickly replies and "thank you for your thoughts" then turned over to Google and looked up the event. There was a hashtag going out on twitter called #HeRises based on the words the hijacker had said. Cassandra quickly turned it off and put her phone down covering her face. She was in the middle of a freakout and there was nothing she could do about it.

Cassandra was not pissed off at the fact that Lillian had picked her up and carried her away from the scene because she was in the middle of an attack. Everyone really didn't take anything from it, but Cassandra still broke down in a very public place. What pissed her off was that Lillian carried her into a chapel.
Of course... take me here, of all the places you could have taken me. I mean, if you had done this under different past circumstances I would have been okay with it but...
Cassandra was sitting in a pew, not looking at anything other than her feet. She listened to the people in the church, praying loud prayers, but other then that there was nothing else she was doing. Lillian sat next to her and Cassandra could almost feel her being stared at. She took a deep breath before speaking to Lillian,
"I don't want to be here."
"Look I know, I don't want to be here either, I would much rather be in New Jersey with my-"
"No not that... I don't want to be here. here."
    "As... in... the... church?"
"No I mean the traveling circus." Cassandra replied in a very sarcastic voice. She looked up at Lillian quickly before her eyes wandered, glancing at the stain-glass windows.
"Look, I get it, you don't like churches. Big deal. But in times li-"
"I don't mind churches... I just don't like the faith... so damn focused on death. Who is getting to heaven, and who is getting to hell. What age is a tragic death and what age is just another death... how sins play in and how sinners will go to hell."
Cassandra kicked her leg against the pew in front of her and she ignored the evil look she got as she whispered to Lillian, "Everything is a goddamn sin. If those are the people going to hell, heaven must be a boring place."
"Wow, you have no shame talking about this in a house of God."
    "Why would I have shame?"
"Well the catholic faith is totally focused on the heaven vs hell scenario. Good vs Evil, God vs Devil."
    "So much war..."
"War doesn't sound like the right word fo-"
"It is though, just one long fictional tale about war."
    "Fictional tale?"
Cassandra looked around and luckily it was loud enough in the church for her to whisper this soft enough that only Lillian could hear, "I can believe in angels and demons, in a constant battle over right and wrong... but I just can't bring myself to believe in God and Satan... pure evil and pure good. If God is so good, why do events like this occur. And if there is a Devil... what stops him from not doing worse."
    "Because both balance out e-"
"Bullshit. The almighty God and heavenly king, the one who created our world and what lives on it can't stop a plane from crashing into a city?" She knew at this point her voice was loud.
"Well what if he didn't want to, what if God doesn't wish to interfere with the natural course of life and death?"
"Then isn't god a selfish asshole."
Cassandra stood up to walk out and saw a couple of people in the surrounding pews staring at her. She groaned loudly at all of them and looked at Lillian saying, "This is what could drive me to drink." then she walked as close to the door as she could to get some air.

To no surprise, everyone was trying to get off of Long Island. When she had gotten Lillian to the bridge they were already road blocked. Cassandra stood for a moment before she ran up to him and yelled,
"Fucking hell! There is no one at the impact zone but you won't let people leave?!"
"Ma'am I am afraid I have to ask you to please step back and go home. If you cannot go home, find somewhere that is safe and out of danger."
"Yes yes, safe and out of danger. LET ME ON THIS FUCKING BRIDGE!"
    "Ma'am-"
"Don't ma'am me, let me on the fucking bridge!"
Lillian pulled her away and yelled, "As much as I would love to be arrested right now-"
"Cut the crap Lilly! Where are we supposed to go?"
    "Back in the subway?"
"I am certain it is crowded."
Lillian pulled her and ran her back into the chaos, the sirens, the screams, the news reporters attempting to get their in on the situation. They eventually ran into a place where the news was streaming and like others around them, they couldn't help but stop to see what was going on.
"This just in, the plane crash in Manhattan has been confirmed an intentional attack on American soil, however we have yet to confirm which association it is partnered with..."
Cassandra listened as a man behind her yelled, "It is probably Al Qaeda, getting revenge!"
"WILL YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
The heard a fight break out behind her, the sounds of it horrifying, the men were actually trying to kill each other. But she was not going to be an angel and help them, she didn't want to get killed.
"This just in, we have a report in from Air Traffic Control, the message sent from the pilot during the hijacking."
The fighting stopped behind her and within their area, other than the background, everyone was silent as the record played. The sadness in the pilot's voice as he spoke. Near the end, she heard the cut off and the silence was deafening, then what broke it was even worse.
    "He risessss. . ."
The silence followed again, as the news report continued, everyone in shock, everyone not knowing what to do. The noise was so inhuman, and the report only made it worse. Cassandra had a sickening feeling, that this was another chapter in the strange 3 days that she now had.
With the silence still there, a terrifying scream of agony and confusion broke it, and everyone who heard it stared at the source. It was a woman's voice and the woman was covering her face and crouched down to the ground crying.
    That woman was Cassandra.

Cassandra was fast asleep within an amazing dream. She was on a boat, a little row boat in a pond, similar to the ponds in central park. Cassie was eating from a picnic basket and she felt a warmth from the sunlight that made her feel happy and content. Then she turned to see someone standing on the water and she freaked out. She sat there for a moment just staring before she opened her mouth to speak. The person was almost a shadow against the sunlight, but she couldn't define gender. But she saw wings, and heard it whisper something before she could talk, "Get out of that area now."
Cassandra's eyes quickly, she stared at the ceiling for a second before she head a loud booming noise, it was absolutely horrifying and loud. Seconds later she heard another smashing noise, much closer and a scream. She shot up and sat for about a minute in shock before her roommate came running into the room, "Cassandra we need to get out of here NOW."
"Huh what, why what was that?"
"Fucking 9/11 all over again except if we don't get out of here now we are not going to be as fortunate."
Cassandra stood up, grabbing her phone as she did, and ran out of the room and stared in horror at the broken window of their apartment. She walked up to it slowly and saw a piece of a plane before Lillian pushed her and tried to pull her to the door, "Don't bother looking out the fucking window the building across the street is falling apart in OUR DIRECTION."
Cassandra ignored her and ran over to the window, she couldn't help it, it was human instinct to stare at something wrong. That was one of the major reasons for highway traffic during an accident, not because the accident is in the way, but because everyone wants to see what happened and what went wrong.
Cassandra froze at the sight of the building and felt Lillian tugging her arm, "We are being evacuated can you PLEASE BE RESPONSIVE."

She shook her head to get herself out of shock and looked at the piece of the plane in her house, and it wasn't much at all. It was a piece of the metal, a small piece that could easily fit in her pocket. She walked over quickly to touch it and it burned her hand. Lillian stared in disbelief at her and Cassandra, despite the pain, picked it up and put in her pocket. Why? She didn't know and she didn't care. Then she let Lillian pull her out of the room.

The streets were an utter chaos where she was, the impact zone was a few blocks away but the damage made it this far, she was not surprised, but she was still afraid. There were no officers there yet, or very few. She could hear them coming, all the sirens, but because there was no definitive authority everyone was running away, screaming. There were injured people everywhere, even if not physical, and next to her was a mother yelling frantically for her children. She prayed they just ran off afraid during the confusion and nothing worse happened.

Cassie did not stop, Lilly pulled her along, running towards the subway. Now why was that she was wondering, is it the instinct to get to lower ground or did she seriously think the subway would still be in service? Cassandra took control at that moment and pulled her away from the subway, "Sorry but we are so close to the bridge if we run that way now we can get out of here and go. Sorry but I am not staying trapped on this island like I did when I was twelve... not again, never again!"

I honestly was a really big fan of his when he was on his youtube channel, I was subbed to him and really enjoyed his stuff. I didn't have a crush, I never really have on anyone, I just really enjoyed his music. I wasn't interested in figuring out about him and learning about what he does, I still do not.

When One Time came out, I was really excited for him hitting it big time and enjoyed the song a lot, heck I still like, but then it went downhill for me. I really did not like Baby, and then I just slowly didn't like his music and that is all. So I am just going to say I have no... um, real opinion on Justin Bieber, and don't pay attention to what goes on in his life, I have my own to worry about.

But, even though others may disagree, I am happy he got known for his talent rather than have celebrity parents or something... and if he does that just shows how much I don't care about learning about him...

    "Alright... take care..."
Cassandra shut off her phone and layed down in bed, staring at the ceiling in a long silence. So maybe she wasn't as insane as thought she was becoming. Cassie put the phone on her night table just as she heard a knocking at the door. Cassandra sat up quickly, then her roommate popped her head in and smiled.
"I hope I didn't wake you, I just wanted to make sure you were okay and wanted to know if you needed anything."
Cassandra chuckled lightly then replied, "You didn't wake me, actually I was just about to head to sleep. I don't need anything but thank you for asking."
"Okay, I am going to be up most of the night if you need anything."
    "Any reason?"
"Yeah, family issues I need to help out with."
    "Sorry to hear."
"Okay, get some rest and I hope you feel better."
Cassandra watched as Lillian left the room, she stared at the door for a few minutes, hoping she could call Lillian back in and tell her everything that has happened within the past two days, but for roommates they really didn't know each other well enough for Cassandra to bring herself to do that.
Cassandra put her head back and closed her eyes, praying that she wouldn't have odd dreams, and could just sleep.

Nothing extremely interesting or new happened to Adam. He didn't watch T.V all day, but stayed in the house all day. He found other things to do with his time either way. At the end of the day he trudged over to bed and fell asleep pretty quickly.

Cassandra listened to the speech in French and started blankly at the wall in her room and layed back down on the bed as she tried to catch as many words as she could. At that moment she regretted dropping out of her high school French class. Finally Hay-Sun caught on to it and she listened to her speak,
Right, your an American, I forgot.
That comment bugged her a little bit based on the way she said American, why was her being American a problem here? She was certain there were other countries where people didn't know how to speak English.
It sounds insane, I know. But I've been having these crazy dreams lately, about angels and shit. Past lives and stuff, you know? And this . . . guythingperson with wings keeps appearing to me, and he tells me that there's stuff I need to remember, or whatever. . . Is any of this making sense? Ringing a bell?
She thought about the dream part, she really hadn't had any other than repetitions of the event from yesterday, with some subtle differences each time, but isn't that the way a memory works anyway? Then she heard the mention of a guy... was it the same guy? She decided to talk at first as though it was, but wouldn't say I saw the same guy.
"Actually, just yesterday a guy with wings came up to me. I am going to be honest I still think he is crazy... I am convinced it didn't actually happen and maybe I was just overtired." Cassandra was silent for a moment before she continued, "So... yes, it is ringing a bell... but the man didn't seem very angelic to me... other than the wings..." Cassandra had nothing else to really say without droning out emotions to the girl on the other side of the line, and she had a feeling the girl didn't want to hear it.

    Day: Monday | Music| Location: Walking / Mason's House|OOC: ---
Matthew finally got his cat to stop following him by throwing it the rest of his toast and chasing it a couple feet. He knew it would find it's way home regardless.
Matthew put his iPod in his ears and listened to King Park a couple times during the walk. It was one of his personal favorite songs. Especially at the end. When he got closer to Mason's he decided to put on happier, cheerier songs to get him laughing and smiling.
When he got to Mason's house he didn't bother knocking on the door. At this point it was normal for him to do that, but just so Mason knew he was there, he whistled a very quick tune. He looked around the house and found him breaking down the plant. He blinked and then sighed, "I forgot to knock didn't I? Some day that is going to get me shot on spot."

Mason was definitely the closest to a friend he was ever going to get, if he wasn't already one. He stopped with the "friend" label not too long ago just because it was one less label to deal with. Matt walked around with his hands in his pocket and leaned against the wall saying, "So are we playing another game of lets see how long it takes for our boss to notice we are baked or are we just going to home it wears off. Either way, I am on my last strike before I am... what did they use this job... 'let go for your own safety'."
One of the things that annoyed him about the manager at Mickey-D's was that the manager was often high or drunk at work, and was just forced to write up when he saw his employees doing it. Sometimes he just wanted to bring him a beer or a bowl and just hang with the manager, but he wasn't that desperate to become buddy buddies with the manager to keep his job. Although that may or may not have helped him out.
