Light will guide you home... ----- The kairi face glitch I cannot figure out for my life, I tried to fix it...
Friday, October 4, 2013 | Day 13: 3/5 | Music | Location: School ❝ Something like that, ❞ Adam was a bit stunned by the touching of his knee because he wasn't used to a stranger doing that, but at the same time he didn't stop her. He was looking at her in the eyes as she spoke. He didn't even pay attention to the girl's choice of words. ❝ I'm Bonnie, And you? ❞ He was about to reply when the girl puffed up her chest and he found himself looking down at it for a brief second. Jesus. He quickly looked up back, looking at her eyes and spoke, "I-I'm Adam."
Friday, October 4, 2013 | Day 13: 2/5 | Music | Location: School Adam was officially sick of this school. All of his friends were getting on his nerves and the professors only made it worse. They said how if the storm continues throughout the weekend they would still continue schooling on Monday whether they are in the building or not but he would have none of it. He had stood up in front of the teachers and outright refused and a couple of kids stirred up, then it got bad and some of the kids looked ready to murder, so he left on his own. He didn't mind the greenhouse, the sounds the smells, the occasional lightning that would appear. He only wished he could have had Alana there with him. Right then he felt something land on his lap and he jumped for a moment, before he heard the voice and saw a girl looking up at him with beautiful blue eyes. ❝ I am sooo sorry, I must have missed that hose over there. ❞ YES. He looked at the girl for a second before he smiled at her and chuckled, "That is alright, I missed it the first time myself." He blinked for a second then he realized where she was and the position she was in and quickly tried to help her up, he scratched his head saying, "I've never seen you around before. Are you a newer student?"
But Pix implies pictures.
The problem is I am going into camp late and they are asking me for my CIT name before I get there. And traditionally it is picked by yourself at this camp
So I am going to CIT at a girl scout camp for about 3 weeks and one of the things we do is choose a nickname for us to go by the entire time at camp. So we don't use our real names. After a couple of months have narrowed it down to Pixel and Prose, and I keep asking people and there is an exact 50/50 split over it. No seriously, I asked 100 people, so I am counting on KHV to be the tie-breaker. The reasons for each name: Pixel: I want to go into film/graphics designing when I am older and out of school, and a pixel is the smallest element in a display device. It is secretly nerdy but I guess if you picture a 5 year old singing it to call for you it sounds awesome. Prose: Since I love writing and telling my own stories I thought this would be a neat one to have and I just love reading books too. I have to bring all my AP English books to camp to read so I think it'd be funny to see me sitting around reading a book with the nickname Prose. Anyway, thank you in advance for your help, I had no idea where else to put this.
Wearing --- Music ---Date:Thursday, October 3nd, 2013 ---Day: 12 | 5/5 --- Interaction: N/A --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: - - - Cassandra finally got off the bus after going through transportation hell. She walked the rest of the way to the warehouses and looked around for one with people there. She couldn't find it as she looked around until she heard a bunch of yelling as though people were sparring. Assuming it was them, she walked at a steady pace up to the warehouse and walked in quietly to see Hana and a man fighting, but the man was not equipped with anything. Hana was, with a sword to be precise. But as Cassandra fully entered, Hana spoke to it and it turned into a pencil. By no logic she could understand how that worked out. Still, she understood the angel stuff, but the concept of magic was still new to her, and Cassandra dropped her bag in a complete shock onto the ground, "H-huh... the fuck?"
Wearing --- Music ---Date:Thursday, October 3nd, 2013 ---Day: 12 | 4/5 --- Interaction: N/A --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: - - - Cassandra heard her phone ring but she wasn't awake and let it hit voicemail. When she woke up not long afterwards she got herself cleaned up and dressed and opened up the phone and listened to the voicemail. It was Hana giving her instructions to go to a... warehouse? Well that isn't sketchy as fuck. Cassandra sat in the room for a few minutes listening to music from her phone, she only did this to think. If she headed there now, she probably wasn't coming back. So what was she gonna do. Lillian was out and about and she knew Lillian would hate it if she left without saying goodbye face to face with her. Cassandra closed her eyes, something was telling her to just go, that it was the right path to go with them, and she was starting to wonder why she was having such a sudden change in thought. She didn't even hae time to resist as she felt herself packing up her things [she managed to get things shipped to her from Manhattan thanks to a friend although it wasn't a lot just mostly essentials and a couple outfits which she would have to cycle through] and then she headed out of the house. She stopped before she left and wrote a note to Lillian and gave it to her oldest younger sibling as she left. Cassandra didn't know how to drive. She felt she didn't need to learn, she lived in New York, New York her entire life and the place it transportation heaven. However she didn't want to be sketchy and call up a taxi to send her to a warehouse, so she walked to a bus stop and waited there. She didn't have a real suitcase, it was a laptop bag filled with all the stuff she had at Lillian's. It wasn't light, and it hurt her shoulder, but she didn't like carrying suitcases anyway. When she got on the bus everyone in it was quiet, and that was when that unsettling public transportation after a terrorist attack feeling set in.
Thursday, October 3, 2013 | Day 12: 2/5 | Mood: ... | Music | Location: School All the kids had been stuck in the school since Monday. The unpredictability of the storms made teachers nervous about letting the kids out. The power had also been out and had not come back on. Many of the kids freaked out for younger siblings and other members of the family. Adam was included in this because his mother did not do well in storms and he had no idea if his father made it home. He had to deal with it anyway. He wasn't an idiot. He wasn't running out during the storm unless his life depended on it. Adam wandered around the school at this point, although teachers and students were advised to stay in the same 3 locations: The auditorium, the cafeteria, and the gymnasium. The gym was off of a branch that no one wanted to walk down because the school had stupidly put lightning rods on the roof of the only hallway to get to the gym. Something to do with power and the prove a point to students. At least the science teacher was happy. Adam did not mind running down the hallway to the gym, so he stayed there along with a bunch of other people who weren't cowards. But he only stayed there to sleep because it was warm. At that moment, he was in the 2nd floor greenhouse, only to watch the storm. He only had to run outside for a couple of seconds to get there, and the spot was amazing. Sure he had to watch lightning strike the gymnasium hallway branch many times, but he loved lightning, or at least watching it. As long as he wasn't struck by it he was alright. But he had a more likely chance of winning the lotto. Adam layed down on the table of the green room and stared at the sky, he was getting bored of the storm and really needed something to do. The only rush he would get would be the run between the greenroom and the 2nd floor door.
Cassie led them out of her home and waved goodbye and was tired. Went upstairs to go to sleep and Lillian asked her what was up and she said she might be going on a trip with them because they offered her a ticket for a tour. Lillian didn't ask for an explanationand was happy that she actually had friends and Cassie passed out on the futon. Everyone forgot about Adam including me, but he is still at the school with all of his classmates due to the power being out and everyone being concerned for the kid's safety during the storm. Adam is still avoiding the est of the school and is sleeping in the gym because it is warm.
Wearing --- Music ---Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 ---Day: 11 | 5/5 --- Interaction: Hana and Hay Sun --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: -- Cassandra was silent and closed her eyes to think about it for a moment, then she opened her eyes again as she spoke, "Hay Sun should still have my number, I hope. I'm not saying no entirely... I just want a little bit to think about it... but thank you for going through the trouble to come up here and find me." She looked over the at the platter of cookies which was now completely gone. She stood up again and held out her hand to Hana, "And it was very nice to meet you." She turned over to Hay Sun and smiled at her then nodded, "You as well Hay Sun."
Wearing --- Music ---Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 ---Day: 11 | 5/5 --- Interaction: Hana and Hay Sun --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: -- x ❝...We're like, humans with super powers?❞ x Cassandra covered her mouth to keep from spitting out the cookie and then when she fully swallowed it she let out a large laugh. It felt good, because she hadn't laughed genuinely in so long she could remember. In the middle of the laugh she spoke out, "Oh oh, that is just great. We are like the Avengers or something. Who mutates green? Who is the Norse god?" x Cassandra kept laughing until she got herself to stop, but she was leaning against the arm of her chair lightly giggling, so she hadn't completely stopped but at least it wasn't as bad as it was before. She took a couple breaths and sat up still giggling, "No but you aren't serious, are you?" x She was almost terrified of the answer but she kept giggling to herself, it was pretty bad because it wasn't really that funny when she thought about it, but she still continued.
Wearing --- Music ---Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 ---Day: 11 | 5/5 --- Interaction: Hana and Hay Sun --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: ---xCassandra listened to both responses at full attention, something about the details of the explanation bugged her, but it may have been fueled by her current hatred towards God. She stood up from the chair she was sitting in and grabbed one of the cookies she had made and twirled it around in her hand, "So God cannot help us, he cannot send his angels down. But the devil can rise from below onto earth and this doesn't raise a problem at all. What rules keep them from coming down and helping us, something unsung?"xCassandra bit into the cookie and looked straight at Hana, and her continuation came out angrier then she intended, "So you are going around and picking up angels, who no longer remember that they are angels, to help with a cause even God cannot help us with. Do you not feel like you are chasing what cannot be caught?"xCassandra sat down in another chair, a bit more calmed down after that and spoke, "I'll admit, the last thing I want this Earth to turn into is a living hell but... what the hell am I supposed to do. Sit there and look pretty?"
Wearing --- Music ---Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 ---Day: 11 | 4/5 --- Interaction: Hana and Hay Sun --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: ---x "My guess, is that it was a Dark Angel. If the man that came to see you was in fact Danel, as Hay Sun mentioned, then any negative behavior made was normal. None of us are full angels of the light anymore. We all chose to commit some sort of unforgivable sin that will no longer allow us to return to Paradise. Many of the ones that were cast out had been sent here because they joined Lucifer's army during the Great Holy War. Those members are the Dark Angels. Some, like Abaddon-- " x Assuming I know who you are talking about. x "--Samuel, recanted and were allowed to partake in the reincarnation cycles as punishment. Those that did not recant and ask for forgiveness are still by Lucifer's side in the Obsidian Palace, located in the deepest pits of Hell. Those would be angels such as Danel." x Reincarnation is a punishment? x "U-um, what are the reincarnation cycles... I mean it seems obvious but... why would reincarnation be viewed as a punishment... when we clearly can forget whatever wrong we had done?" x Cassandra watched Hay Sun for a moment while she was pacing the room then she finally added, "And what possible trouble has gone down that you are looking for... us?" Cassandra immediately thought over to the recording of the hijacker for some reason, but she didn't continue with anything. She was as straight faced as she normally was, probably made her seem more serious then she actually was.
Wearing --- Music ---Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 ---Day: 11 | 3/5 --- Interaction: Hana and Hay Sun --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: ---x Cassandra watched as Hana bit into one of the cookies and ate it, she felt like it took forever for the girl to eat one. Then the girl finally started speaking. x "Do you know who you are Cassandra? Hay Sun is the Archangel Uriel. My real name is Xathanael. I go by Hana for convenience sake. Humans use nicknames as a form of familiarity that is meant to be more intimate than using one's whole name. " Cassandra opened up her mouth to speak but Hay Sun spoke faster then she did, ❝I probably won't be much help here, but I did come all the way from France to see if any of this crazy shit is true — granted, I was basically kidnapped, but that's beside the point.❞ x Basically kidnapped by... what... Hana didn't kidnap you... did she? x ❝Even I gotta admit, there's something kind of nutty going on, and there's this guy named Danel who's bad news, and he might be after us.❞ x Danel...? is that the- x ❝What I mean is, if you decide not to come with us, he might get to you.❞ x Cassandra grabbed her head and massaged her temples, there was more going on then she expected. She took a few breaths before she let go and looked up, "Almost a week ago, I was at work when I got a visitor, which is not normal for me. I asked him if he was looking for the priest and he said he was there for me, Metatron. Told me I was less boring than Enoch, and backed me into a wall when I told him he got the wrong person... apparently not. But-" x Cassandra lightly touched her neck and pictured the man's brown eyes again and spoke, "That was not the way I pictured interacting with an angel... hell I still don't believe what is going on..."
Wearing --- Music ---Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 ---Day: 11 | 3/5 --- Interaction: Hana and Hay Sun --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: --- ❝Don't mind if I do, You're Cassandra, I hope?❞ Cassandra nodded and then shook the hand that was extended to her and listened as she continued. ❝I'm Hay Sun. It's really great to meet you. This is Red, but she prefers Hana, the head of our little god squad. She's got a bit of a stick up her ass, but maybe you'll get along with her better than me.❞ God squad, oh god they aren't part of some weird Christian religion and I just invited them into the house right... She looked over at the redheaded girl and looked for a moment. She didn't seem like a Hana in her opinion, but names don't always fit people in the end. She watched Hana roll her eyes as she spoke, ❝I do not have a stick up my butt. There's just kind of a lot going on if you hadn't figured that much out.Cassandra, is there somewhere we can go to talk privately?❞ Cassandra waited for the two to end their speaking before she yawned a bit and spoke, "Well um, it is nice to finally meet you Hay Sun and it is nice to meet you Hana... um..." Cassandra looked over where Lillian had left and she turned back to them, "There is a insulated screen-house out back if you would like to go there. There are a lot of little kids here unfortunately." Cassie added the last part even quieter then the rest. She grabbed one of the platters of snicker-doodles and looked over at her phone on the counter which was still open on Google, but it had a list of angels on it rather then just showing Metatron. She walked over and shut it off and put it in her pocket and motioned for them to follow her. She opened up the glass door and left it open for them and then walked outside to the screen house and turned on the light. The place was filled with a bunch of comfortable chairs and the screens were already replaced with glass for the wintertime. She placed the platter on one of the tables and sat down in one of the chairs and spoke in a normal volume. "Ugh I hate whispering... you can talk as you normally would in here because of the glass windows..."
Wearing --- Music ---Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 ---Day: 11 | 3/5 --- Interaction: N/A --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: ---xCassandra was washing up a pan while listening to Lillian speculating about what her friends were going to be like. Lillian literally made like, 5 baker's dozens of cookies. Cassandra didn't realize until she saw them all layed out on the counter and she blinked at them and turned to Lillian, "Damn, are you secretly on a binge and all of these are for you?"xLillian glared and retaliated immediately, "The rule of unnumbered guesting, make triple the amount of what you expect.""Where'd you hear that, an iPhone fact app?"Lillian almost growled as knocking occurred and Lillian mischievously smiled and whispered, "Allow me to get that for you.""Huh... why?"xLillian quickly ran over to the door, still looking over at Cassandra as she did. When she opened the door she had a nice smile on her face and spoke, "You must be Cassandra's friends... come on in~" she sang as she walked away quickly from the door and ran up to Cassandra and whispered, "Have you no interest in anyone of the male gender, or a concept of age?""Why does age matter when it comes to friends?""They're babies."Cassandra rolled her eyes and pushed Lillian out of the kitchen saying, "Just go, I'll take them out back to the screen-house like you told me to.""I said if there were 3 or more friends.""Yes and I am the third, imagination."xCassandra ran back into the kitchen without paying attention to the guests, she hadn't looked up at them yet, hadn't asked their names, hadn't even acknowledged them yet. She was just completely all over the place both mentally and physically and it could be seen through her actions. Without looking up and assuming they were in the room she spoke, "Sorry... I'm not sure how long you have been driving or if you have eaten yet, but would either of you like a cookie?"
Wearing --- Music ---Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 ---Day: 11 | 3/5 --- Interaction: N/A --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: I am not posting the time skip because Cassie isn't in the caravan and I figured someone in that should be the person to.xDon't worry about an address?x"Okay... bye..."xCassandra shut off the phone and sat there for a moment not knowing what to do before Lillian popped up from upstairs and stood by the door, "You look horrible... someone didn't die did they?"Cassandra shook her head and spoke, "No, but I have a bunch of... friends popping in...""How many?""Don't know... I didn't ask...""Can't you call back?""I'd prefer not to.""But that is great though! I didn't know you had friends!"Cassandra turned and gave Lillian a long, hard glare and then Lillian spoke again, "Well, if there is more than 3 of them, can you direct them to out screen house in the back? It has electricity so if you wanna move a television in there you ca-""I think they are just popping in and out, I don't think they are staying very long.""Good because Dillain is coming up today and he is staying for a while.""Where would he be sleeping?""Hm... good question... I don't know... I'll figure it out when it is time."Lillian stretched and smiled, "I am awake now... I'll make some snacks for them. Just because I am in the mood for cookies and that is an excuse to not give any to the children."xCassandra watched Lillian turn around and walk into the glass door, then slide it open and shut it as she went inside. Cassandra pulled out her phone and turned on the internet and tabbed up Google. "Okay... Metatron... who are you..."
Wearing --- Music ---Date: Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 ---Day: 11 | 2/5 --- Interaction: Hay Sun --- Working: No --- City: Albany --- OOC: - - - ❝It's a long story, but yes, I'm in the US. New Jersey, actually. Not too far from yourself, I think? I don't know the specific geography very well.❞ Cassandra nodded although she knew Hay Sun couldn't see her nod. New Jersey is such a small state she could be anywhere and be close to New York. Then the next part happened. ❝Look, this is gonna be a tough pill to swallow, I'm here with a ragtag team of secret agents who are bent on saving the world. Remember when I first called you, about angels? Yeah, they — we — I . . . think it's all true. Turns out, you're like me, and the rest of us. Either way, we're coming to see you, and we should be there, soon. You won't have to come with us, but the situation will be explained more.❞ Cassandra sat in her spot in a bit of a shock over the last revelation. Was she really going to believe that there was a whole group of them that were a bunch of "secret agents" out to save the world. She wasn't sure, but she wasn't going to jump on that bandwagon quick. The least she could do was to hear them out, after all Hay Sun wasn't even from the fucking United States and was heading up to see her. Cassandra swallowed her saliva that had built up and then she took a deep breath and spoke, "Do you all want me to cook you something?" What the hell kind of a response was that Cassie?
