--- iPod Shuffle --- Mood: Unexplainable --- Outfit --- Day 4 --- Location: Outside of Inn--- Aislin had been zoning out for not too long when the corner of her eye spotted in what her eyes could potentially have been the cutest male she had seen outside of a television show. Why hello there handsome... mmm I just wish you didn't have that hair color. Aislin saw the boy talk to Pierce, who was helping a girl to a bench, then he disappeared off into what she assumed was the Inn and then she watched him appear again, "Well well well, how did I miss that gorgeous face walk through the camp..." She had spoken to herself, but if someone had really wanted to acknowledge it she wouldn't have cared. At this point she wanted to know that boy's name... or man. For all she knew he was a councilor. Whatever age he is just...
--- Ipod Shuffle --- Mood: Confused --- Outfit --- Day 4 --- Location: Inn/Outside of Inn--- ❝There are two scheduled trains that'll take you deadbeats home. ... What are you waiting for? Go gather yer shit and go!❞ Aislin was confused by the reaction. Had someone done something wrong to make this woman angry? It may or may not have had something to do with all of them being dropped off at once, but Aislin really had no idea. She didn't have anything because she lost her things on the ferry. What she did have was a soaked wallet, her iPod shuffle, a dead trackphone, and a coupon in her pockets. Other than that it was just Aislin and her lone working hand. Aislin decided after she turned in her room key to Cane that she would just wait outside. When she got outside she looked around at the town from where she was standing and was not used to seeing little to no cars driving around. I didn't think it was that small of a town...
I am gonna say go on the train, but watch with my luck that the train freaking blows up. -_-
--- Ipod Shuffle --- Mood: Embarrased --- Outfit --- Day 4 --- Location: Inn Dining Room--- ❝ Not as far as I know. Haven't even seen Garth since the boat. Maybe... maybe it's not safe, ya' know, to talk... out here? ❞ Aislin was silent as she listened to this response... it wasn't safe to talk out there? Why? Was someone going to swoop down and steal all their information? Aislin looked around at the room then turned back to the girl tilting her head, "O-okay?" She watched the girl pick at her fingernails... Aislin felt a nervousness from watching it, what if the girl was picking at her nails and they got infected, or just totally ripped off by accident. She had no idea where that visual popped up. Then something popped into her head and she spoke, "A-Ah I forgot to introduce myself. Sorry. My name is Aislin and I like ducks." Aislin's eyes widened at her last statement and she reached her right arm out and covered her forehead, "Um... um... ignore that... last... part..." Aislin placed her head down on the table clearly showing her embarrassment. She had no idea where the duck part even came from and she just had no idea how to recover from it.
---"Cheers to the Cunning" 1/15The boy with vengeful eyes------- I remember feeling this horrible lightheadedness when I had finally bashed into the door and broken it. I had this need to help them out, my family, I needed to know if they were alive. I didn't care, I was 3 at the time but I still valued my family's life over my own. People walked all over the place, idle strangers throwing bodies into a pile to be burned. I looked over at this pile in horror, underneath the blood & bruises, ash and dust, were people who had raised me, lived with me, gone through everything with me. I saw my mother and father be thrown into the pileI needed to get out of there but I didn't.I continued to search for someone who most likely no longer existed. "There is no one else?" With widened eyes I ran behind a house and stuck my head in the direction of the voices. A man in a really nice Citi suit with brunette hair and goatee stood speaking to a man dressed in a Citi medic uniform. There was something alluring about Cities I could never truly understand, maybe it was because they seemed... otherworldly. I watched as a stretcher pulled a familiar friend near the pile on the stretcher. I had no idea where the body was going but knew who it was. I felt tears sting my eyes as I reached out my hand and held back screams. "Neahm..." I heard footsteps and forced myself to run in the opposite direction. I did not turn around and felt the tears flow down my face as my speed quickened. I would not turn around... I could not turn around. When I had run as far as a 3 year old could, I was in the woods. I allowed my legs to collapse and scream cried in agony. What was I supposed to do? Where was I supposed to go? I curled into a ball in the clearing and stayed there for most of the day, I fell asleep, and woke up in a cabin. I looked around frantically before I noticed a woman speak softly, "Shh Wollef, I found you in the woods and knew you were of the Epoh. You have their eyes. I saw the fire and made sure to take you back before they caught you." I sighed in relief before she grabbed my shoulder, "Tell me Wollef, what is your name?" I did not want to say my own, I thought long and hard of another name but ended up choosing my father's, "My name is Daneal."------- Daneal has been unlocked
--- Ipod Shuffle --- Mood: Hurt --- Outfit --- Day 4 --- Location: Inn Dining Room--- Aislin attempted to listen to all the conversations going on but lost track of one between a girl and Adrian when her arm started hurting again. By the time she got herself back into the conversation the girl's face was buried. ❝ There's... There's g-gotta be some way... some way to go home. ❞ Aislin couldn't help watching the girl tremble the way she was and she spoke, "Hun you will make it home, I promise you, but are you alright? You look like my grandmother did when my uncle came out of the closet at age 38... reaction wise..." Aislin then continued right afterwards and spoke, "Does anyone know what happened to the other groups... at all? Were they rescued last night?"
Ha, I find it funny how they are immediately comparing it to the SimCity fiasco and I am glad they are keeping it playable offline. I am actually really excited for this even if I have to wait a while. The look the Sims have in this little picture reminds me of the old games before Sims 3 and I have really been missing that look to the Sims. I just hope they are as customizable as Sims 3. Until then, I will stick with my Sims 2 (well I have Sims 3 but my computer currently does not meet requirements)
Anyway, I couldn't imagine what this poor girl went through and my prayers are with her. Luckily these men were brought to justice and the girl is... I don't want to say okay so I guess the best word to use is alive.
--- Ipod Shuffle --- Mood: Hurt --- Outfit --- Day 4 --- Location: Inn Bedroom/Dining Room--- Aislin awoke to her mind thinking upon the list of people who had died from the fire... she wondered how many more had died in the boat incident just yesterday. Then she felt her arm feel a slow numbing pain. She probably should have gone to get that checked out. Confirmed Dead From Fire: 7 She could not remember the names of all the people but remembered the names being listed in alphabetical order, the first name being Alice. Aislin sat up in the bed holding her arm. She did not want to go back to the clinic... she could wait until she got home. Aislin forced a smile on her face and left the room she had stayed in. Total Missing: 5. The big name being Kevin. Aislin walked down to the dining hall. There seemed to be a conversation going on, and some else, her councilor Julius actually, seemed to have just been greeted as well, under the name... Mr Patch? Aislin giggled at that introduction and sat down at the table and smiled at everyone, "Good Morning." Might as well while the conversation seems interrupted. Aislin quietly got herself food but had moved her left arm instinctively first and a pain jolted through her although she tried not to show it. She then got herself some food with her right arm. Shoot, how am I supposed to play drums now... I guess I could always play the cowbell...
So I decided to try something different today and practice my cosplay makeup for Faith from Mirror's Edge. Spoiler I have a photoset of it, I'm a little upset because my black eyeliner disappeared halfway through everything and I had to switch to brown.
Aislin changed her mind and left. She went across the street to the inn and did what she was told to do and got herself into a room where she passed out as quick as she good with her arm still in incredible pain. Perhaps tomorrow she would get it checked out.
Oh hey guys look! A map! The original topic of conversation. This map is one of the better ones because most people completely ignore half of the states and just label everything New York, Texas, and California... or in this case Noon Yarn, Tax, and Cralfernear
--- I ain't got time for that info crap (okay I do I just lost it)--- Aislin was extremely grateful for the man's arrival with the boat, and accepted help into the boat with her working arm. When she was up she clinged to her arm in pain and sat down in the boat. At this point the pain in her arm was numbed out from the cold, but the burns on her legs and face continued to irritate. After an hour of trouble they were finally dropped off in front of an inn, which was across from a clinic. Aislin turned her head to Mr. Grant and spoke, "Thank you so very much." When she went into the clinic she listened to Noëlle speak with the nurse. When she was up at the counter the nurse politely smiled and had pointed to the sign in sheet, which Aislin hadn't even said she was with Noëlle, but she assumed that walking in right behind her was indication enough. Aislin signed her name on the sheet and was told to sit down near Noëlle. Aislin did not want to seem awkward so she sat with a seat in between them. Aislin took a deep breath and spoke, addressing it to whoever wanted to respond, "I think I am growing to hate doctors offices. Two days in a row I am in one, one for burns and now for an accident relating to water. Just suck me up in a tornado already..." Aislin thought about that last sentence for a moment and whispered, "Never-mind I don't want that to be taken as a challenge."
