As long as the clips aren't broken (they're pretty fragile iirc), snapping it back on should be okay. Otherwise though, I dabbled around in Google a little bit and it seems to be most commonly termed as a "door" "door face," or "tray face." Here's what Amazon comes up with.
Microsoft Security Essentials is quite solid; been using it on this computer for several months without incident. I had AVG on my last one, and it did the trick most of the time too, but I did still occasionally end up with an infection or two x: . Also, a quick side note, I don't know what browser you use but it can make a difference in terms of protection. Internet Explorer is absolutely awful about this and it's easy to end up with viruses even with just casual browsing. I don't know which browser is best per se, but if you're using IE I'd recommend a switch to something else.
