Sunday, October 27th, 2013 | Day 36: 2/4 | Music | Location: Venice, Italy | ooc:xAdam breathed heavily, backing away from Remus, holding his sword up to have himself ready in defense. Remus simply took one step forward and Adam took three steps back. This pattern continued before Remus turned towards Semyaza and spoke, "Ego pugnare recuses ignavus.""Pugnam.""Nulla.""Bene, relinquent eum." Remus turned his back completely and walked away from Adam. Adam glared at him, he was just going to walk away? Adam gripped the sword tighter and charged at Remus despite his injuries and stabbed towards Remus' back. Remus, quickly turned around, taking the stab to the abdomen and wincing, but at the same time, grabbing Adam's neck. Adam struggled for a moment before he felt the grip strengthen, and he lost his breath. "Vos sunt magis quam ignave inhonestis." Adam stared the man directly in the eyes as he slowly pulled out the sword. "Audet aliquis homo confodere te in tergo." Adam finished pulling out the sword and closed his eyes. "Graham nomen tuum corrigere?"Please, Nahkosh... turn into a knife for me. Nahkosh obeyed, and Adam quickly stoved the dagger into Remus' neck, who let go of Adam. Adam pulled out Nahkosh and quickly backed away from Remus, who let out a shriek of pain. Adam struggled to catch his breath, "I-I have no idea what you are saying bu-" Adam's sentence cut short as he searched for breath, he pointed the knife at Remus, "Don't you EVER turn your back on me.""Semyaza. Hic est homo?-" There was a moment of silence before Remus placed his hand on his neck and the cloud-like mist poured out of his hand, "The one who backs down in defeat?""English! That is English!" Remus let out a laugh and turned towards Semyaza, "Wonderful, you wish for us to understand one another?" "I am simply rewarding Adam here for that moment." Adam finally turned to Semyaza, who was now learning more forward in interest, "You have surprised me, bravo." Adam looked over at Remus again, who finally moved their hand away from their neck. It was now healed. "Damn I forgot I could do that.""You should have taken care of yourself while you had the chance." Remus quickly ran towards Adam and Adam's eyes widened.Thanks Nahkosh... turning back into a sword now would be good though. Just in time, the sword grew out and Adam blocked Remus' blade.

He quickly got up off the ground and backed up and held out a basic stance that Richard had taught him. Semyaza let out a small laugh and Adam ignored her as Remus swung at him again, Adam blocking his swing, then stabbing at him.xRemus sidestepped and parried Adam's blade, knocking it out of Adam's hand.x"Tu non occupetis."xAdam looked over at the blade quickly, and as Remus swung at him for yet another time, Adam quickly used the mist to get him over to the sword. Remus turned over to look and Adam charged at him with a scream and Remus laughed, "Melior!"xAdam managed to strike Remus, and let out a small chuckle, before he felt a sharp pain in the back of his leg and collapsed to the ground. He let out a cry in pain and rolled away before Remus attempted to stab him again in the back. He got a look at Remus for a moment, Adam managed to slice Remus' arm, but that was the extent of it.xAdam forced himself up and almost fell back down again.xThis isn't good.

You've grown, you're grown overconfident." The angel pulled up their left hand and flicked him in the forehead.x"I haven't grown overconfident.""Graham, I know what you think like and what you have been thinking like lately. Although you think your swordsmanship isn't the greatest, you believe that you no longer need training for your powers... as if you have already mastered them. You are wrong.""It's A-"xSemyaza quickly punched Adam in the gut and Adam collapsed to the ground. Semyaza lightly touched their own stomach in response, but then walked over to Adam and pulled him back to his feet by his hair, "I'll call you what I feel like."xAdam grabbed his head when Semyaza let him go and he yelled, "What the hell did I do wrong? This is unnecessary.""You are taking too long.""What?""You are taking too long.""No no, I heard what you said I jus-""The others around here are progressing at a much faster pace, I can feel it just being around them. I know they haven't had nearly as much training time as you have, was all of Harbonah's time wasted? Or are you really just a slow learner.""I have made improvements! More improvement then you think.""Oh really?""Yes, you are underestimating me."xSemyaza's frown seemed to deepen even more before their eyes shifted to someone behind him, "Gaudendum, sed non nimium.""Ego nihil promittere."xAdam quickly turned around to see a man standing there with what appeared to be Nakhosh in his hand. Adam fully turned around to look at him for a little longer and then turned back, "I can't understand you.""Oh trust me, actions speak well through all languages.""What actions?"xSuddenly the man charged at Adam and Adam freaked out before Semyaza tossed Adam a sword, just in time to block the man.x"This is Remus, I'm not going to bother with last names.""Semyaza. si quid imperare?""si quid imperare? Numquam! Gaudendum."xAdam watched as Semyaza sat back down on the throne and while he wasn't paying attention, he found himself thrown down on the ground. He let out a large gasp and was winded and saw Semyaza let out a smirk.

When he finally was, he put back on his sweatshirt and headed back into the hotel. It actually ended up making him sadder then he expected to be when he thought about it, so he kept forcing himself to block it out.xxxxxxxxxxxxAlthough he couldn't speak for Richard, he found everything that had gone on in their training that day very helpful. Now, at least Adam could properly swing a sword, and he felt more in touch with Semyaza at this point, even though Semyaza chose to remain silent and only spoke up comments every now and again whenever he wanted to take a break.xxxxxxxxxxxxHis ankles were sore, so he was trying to shift his weight more towards his toes, and he finally let himself sit down. He had his sweatshirt off for a while and was sweating a good amount. It may have been freezing in the U.K, but he was in Italy now, it was warmer.xxxxxxxxxxxxHe took a couple breaths and wished he had brought a bottle of water with him. He closed his eyes when he felt the wind kick up. Earth's air conditioning.xxxxxxxxxxxxAdam looked over at Richard and spoke up, "I'm gonna be totally honest. I was expecting you to fall asleep halfway through that."

AHA. AHAHAHAHAHA. Oh man, this was definitely one of those manga/animes I did NOT expect to get into. I thought I'd watch it once because Beema and TB wouldn't stop talking about it. I don't know what happened but OH MAN WAS I WRONG. Finished what we have of the anime so far, I'm still in Stardust Crusaders, but I'm still reading it. Does this count as a guilty pleasure? Should I feel guilty? I have no idea.
I heard he was still going to be involved though wasn't he? Either way [sorry I am a month late] I grew up with Hayao Miyazaki and although I am sad to hear he is retiring, everyone has to at some point. I hope his legacy still lives on, and if it doesn't.... then I will gladly show his movies to younger generations until the end of my days.
It looks like it has promise, but I'm sorry... the design of the girls looks way too similar to Rapunzel for me... I'll still watch it and I'll probably like it too, but so far the design of the characters makes me feel like they just used Rapunzel's model and added a couple of different features to her to make her... different.
Welp, good thing there is a thread for this one. -claps hands together- This is one of the fastest mangas I have ever gotten hooked on. Usually it takes me some time before I get into it, but I really love the characters this oh so much. I'm only up to chapter 32 of... oh man is it 232 chapters right now? I started on... Friday night? But yeah, I'm not one for sport manga/animes, but I think this is one anyone should at least pick up and try to read. ...I have no opinion on the anime I'm starting it soon but not yet...
The last book I read was Dragon's Oath. It's a novella of the House of Night series, which... I enjoyed at the beginning, but fell out of love for it after a while. I won't spoil anything for anyone who decides to check it out, but it took a different turn than I expected. But Dragon's Oath, after re-reading it a couple of times, it has grown on me. I really like this character in the series anyway, it was great learning a little bit more about him... but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who hasn't read the first two books at least of the House of Night series. Get someone else to give a positive review after book 4, I only enjoyed it up to book 4, but I liked this novella a lot.

He had no idea what it was, but he had a pretty good feeling it was fencing or something. Unless he was one of those people who spent their lives training how to use swords for fun.xxxxxxxxxxxxThe sword, Richard's, was pointed at Adam's left side. Nakhosh was currently in Adam's right hand. He realized at this moment, he had not trained with something he hadn't assaulted to it's demise. Now, he was against a human, someone he couldn't just put all his energy into and kill. Imagine if he did.xxxxxxxxxxxxAdam let loose a small chuckle, a nervous one really, but not the nervous chuckle where he felt he was weaker, but a nervous chuckle due to overestimating. Adam stared at Richard for a moment longer, "So you are good with swords... how good are you with powers then?"xxxxxxxxxxxxHe felt the numbness again through his body and held in his breath as he quickly moved due to the mist. About 3 seconds later, he was on a different part of the rooftop, sitting on an Air Handlerxxxxxxxxxxxx"I can tell you right now." he paused for a moment as he placed Nakhosh on his lap, "I am terrible at swordfighting, I got trained yeah, but, I'm not that good at it. So instead of us lunging at each other getting nowhere in the process, you help a guy out? I'll help with whatever I can."

He watched Richard collect himself for a moment, before he spoke, "Alright, we'll start on three."xxxxxxxxxxxxxAdam unclipped Nakhosh from his neck and Nakhosh prepared itself for him as Richard counted down to one. He was disappointed when he saw Richard go almost immediately. This was exactly like the training he had with Lu that one time, he was hoping for something a bit more clever.xxxxxxxxxxxxxAt least he still had his ankle this time.xxxxxxxxxxxxxBut Richard had one hell of a form when holding the sword that he did not expect, and rather than try and block it when he swung low, he jumped back a few meters to miss it's hit, but quickly got back into a ready position. The white mist surrounding Richard's sword quickly left it and Adam felt its warmth for a moment.xxxxxxxxxxxxxAdam grinned a little bit before his flicked his arm slightly and his mist came out of his hand and engulfed his own sword, "Prior training?" he didn't really give Richard enough time to answer before he moved a couple steps in and swung back at Richard's legs. His form was of course imperfect, but to make up for it he had the mist reach off the sword and reach out like a hand made out of fog. He wasn't going to pull him in to stab him, he just wanted to get a grip.

That was it though, other than that, he felt fine. It wasn't his worst hangover ever, and he was glad he didn't wake up in an 11th year's house again. All she said was "I forgot to give this to you earlier.""Huh... how about that."Nakhosh is a loyal weapon, it prefers to be a sword, but if you ever need anything else, it will gladly transform for you. He said as he held up the sword a bit, it shrunk back down quickly until it was the size of his palm, and he clipped it back onto his neck.
