Avas Demon has been on hiatus for a really long time... since I think the end of June... or maybe it was mid-July? Anyway, I have been waiting in excitement for it because I really do love the artwork, and I want to know more of the story.

Lauren had not gone on the recruiting mission, but heard from the others it didn't do so well. She wondered if they had attempted to use confusion to get them. She shrugged and went to bed in the hotel trying to not think about Alice. Adam ate food, got a couple things sorted out, mentally trained with Semyaza for a bit before he woke up to check messages on his phone to see none. Then he fell back asleep for the rest of the night.
Xyloh was usually one of the first people to be at breakfast, but today she was running late. She must have slept longer than she thought she would. She was rushing her way to the dining room only to stop herself in front of the music room again. She stared at the the blue violin, which almost taunted her for her inability to play. Xyloh decided she wouldn't eat breakfast today. She made her way in and grabbed the blue violin and started up with her attempts again, she had to tune up the violin from her playing the night before. She kept stressing herself out until the point where she took a break and calmed herself down by playing the violin Pizzicato.
Hana's return had come pretty quick, she was expecting to be there for a long time alone. She wasn't sure if this return was an entirely good thing either, considering Hana came back with tears coming down her face and she collapsed to the floor.Alice quickly made her way next to her and knelt down, "What's wrong? Did something happen?" "I just ... I saw somebody." Hana shook her head, "I don't - I don't think he saw me.""...this person clearly got to you..." Alice smiled slightly and spoke, "I won't ask anything else about it... they aren't nearby are they?"Hana looked away, her eyes on the bed. "A few doors down the hall. If we just wait here a little bit longer, he should go away. I need to rest my mind anyway. Concealing the both of us puts a lot a strain on my mind.""Alright." she stood up and held a hand out to help Hana up. Hana took her hand, looking confused. "What are you doing?" she asks while rising to her feet."You were on the ground. There's a bed and a chair in here. Unless you want to wait on the ground I mean... I can't stop you." Hana looked at her in surprise, "Oh. Yeah I suppose that would be better. Thanks." goes to take a seat on the chair and tilts her head back with eyes shut.Alice had backed up a bit and was about to sit down before she heard the words, "Come on out, you little whore! I know you're there, somewhere! Let's get this over with." The last words spoken she didn't quite hear, but she backed away from the door.
Alice was slightly shocked by the actions taken by Hana, and when the two left the room Hana turned them both invisible. Alice was rather confused about it at first, and then sirens started to go off and Alice felt as though her heart maybe just stopped.Hana and Alice ran down to the end of the hallway, and they went and turned to their right only to meet with literally flames. Hana pulled her into a room labeled Semyaza and they shut the door behind them.Alice backed up and grabbed her hair whispering, "Oh man oh man oh man this isn't good." She tried to the tear up about it although her breathing was clearly faster, "What now? Can you do that teleport thing that Danel and Lu can do now that you have your powers?" Alice looked frantic as she clasped her hands together, "Please tell me you can."
Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 | Day 52 : 4/5 | Music | Location: Westport, New Zealand| ooc: Adam had just stepped into the hotel and was heading up to the room they were all sharing when he felt his phone ringing. He stopped for a moment and stared at the number, and he didn't recognize it. Then he remembered that he never got Cora's number, he just gave her his. He answered the phone and let out a quick, "Hello?" "A-Adam..." He become slightly concerned when he heard the shakiness of her voice, "Zomething happened...""Are you alright? You don't sound too good.""Zomething... I did zomething. I-I dunno how.""Can you explain a little more?" There was a pause for a pretty long moment, Adam heard voices going on in the background of the conversation. He opened the door to the room and the only one there was Richard sleeping, what else was new? At least this time he was in bed sleeping. For the first time ever, Adam questioned if Richard was narcoleptic. "... Zeh water... it vas veird. I zaved child from ocean. Zeh water moved like... it vas ansvering my plea..."Adam tried not to, but he still let out a small chuckle, "I believe that may have happened because of your powers.""... Maybe you not crazy like I thought. Maybe I crazy... " her comment was followed by an exhausted laugh, " Zoh, guess vhat you zaid vas true... I am Fallen. I vill come vith all you." Adam smiled a bit as he responded, "You will? That's great! Um, where are you now? Do you need me to go and get you?""That vould be nice... Legs like jello. Hold on ... " Adam heard the voices get quieter like she moved the phone away. " How did you save him? " " ... I vas taking pictures by vater. I see young voman. I vigured zomething vas vrong. I moved fast. "" But he was barely wet. And those waves are pretty strong by the cliffs. "" ... Lucky catch. " " Ma'am, could you come with us? We will need a complete statement. " " ... Please, one moment. " The phone made a moving sound before he could hear the voice loud and clear with a hint of worry, "Adam, they vant me to go to station. Voman tried to kill her wee one. I dunno vhat else to zay. No vay to explain then vhat I zaid already." Adam let out a quick breath, he didn't realize she had the police around her, and now they were questioning her situation, "Sugar coat it? Say the mother dropped the baby in a plastic bag? I don't know... Anyway. I can't stop the police. We aren't leaving quite yet, but I'll let the others know you have decided to join us. You can stay at home until we leave Westport." "Alright... I vill keep you posted. Must go. Thank you, for being stubborn. Do svidaniya" Adam heard the click at the other end of the line signaling Cora had hung up. He let out a sigh and shut off the phone and just in time the hotel room phone started ringing. Adam stared at the phone for a minute wondering if hotel staff was calling. He finally walked over and picked it up, feeling almost like a receptionist at this point, "Hello?" "Hello, this is Doctor Smyth from Buller Hospital, is this either... Adan, Eris, Heinry or... Wealthard?" Oh ****... why is Brandon in the hospital. Adam cleared his throat and replied, "This is Adan...""Good day Adan. We wanted to call you to inform you that Brandon Harrison and Kai Engel were both in a car accident and transported here. They wanted us to call you to tell you that they are just fine." Adam stared off at these words, both relieved and shocked. This group was getting themselves into trouble all the time but this was the first time he heard them get into an accident without some involvement from the Dark Angels. Maybe there was, he had no idea. All he knew was that Brandon and Kai were in the hospital. He let out a sigh and spoke out, "Thank you Doctor Smyth for letting me know.""You are welcome to come and visit your friends at any time... during visiting hours. Have a good day... Adan." Adam hung up the phone and whispered, "Well great."
Alice's eyes widened at the words Hana had just spoken, "Wh-what? Why?" Hana motioned for her to come closer and whispered in her ear, "Because I'm pregnant." Alice was silent for a moment before she whispered back, "Clearly I do not understand how this is a probl- oh god it wasn't one of these people in hell was it?" Hana chewed on her lip, "No -- well, sort of; but technically no. It wasn't one of the people that brought either of us here." Alice leaned back a bit and let out as silently as she could from her distance, "How far along should you be?" "I've lost track of the days since I've arrived here. A week maybe? I'm not really sure how long it's been anymore." Alice grabbed her chin and whispered, "...a week? oh my..." she went into thought for a moment before her eyes widened again, "When you say stab... you don't mean..." she lost the words and motioned a plunging towards the chest. Hana shook her head and lowered her gaze to her abdomen. "No, no. I mean down there. I can't do it because I'm restrained. I need you to kill the baby before it gets any bigger and mortal instruments don't do any damage." "...mortal instruments? What are you carrying in there?" Alice immediately covered her mouth realizing she spoke loudly and she quickly changed it up, "What, do angels never die..." she stood up shakily and started looking around the room. "Angels don't die. The humans we inhabit do. We're reincarnated after every passing. Our children, the Nephilim, are a bit different. They aren't like us, so there is no reincarnation for them. They weren't cast out of Heaven, they were created here. They grow incredibly fast. They're adults in the blink of an eye and then they stop growing. The aging process goes from a rapid acceleration to a cripplingly slow acceleration. It could take them centuries before they died if they were permitted to live that long. They're more durable than humans and they can only be killed by holy or damned weapons. Human creations won't kill them. Which is why it has to die now, before it's too late and the Dark Angels find out what I have inside of me." Alice opened up the drawer and quickly shuffled through them, before she finally found a knife and she stared at it for a moment before she walked back over to Hana and held it up, "You would think they would pull all of these knives out of here..." Hana's eyes fell on the blade and she threw her arms out in front of her, screaming in pain from the restraints. "Not ... that ... knife ..." she spoke painfully through gritted teeth. "That knife will kill me, like permanently kill me. No more reincarnation, nothing. More dead than when a human dies." Alice jumped back and spoke, "I'm sorry I didn't know." she carefully placed the knife back in the drawer and looked at them all and spoke, "All of these knives are the same type..." Hana let out a sigh and looked over to where Alice is standing. "Never mind. Don't worry about it. We just ... we really need to get out of here." Alice shook her head, "I am worrying about it." She continued looking around murmering, "This is making me really glad I am homosexual." "How fortunate for you..." Alice let out a deep sigh and turned back over towards Hana, "Unless you want me to attempt to stab you with the corner of a picture frame, we have nothing else." Hana let out another sigh. "No. That won't do. I need to get out of these restraints before they burn my hands and feet off." "Do you have any ideas for that?""No. I've been trying to figure it out since before you got here.""Well... would these knives help? At all?"
She was still not settled. She couldn't be settled with the fact that she was locked in Hell with Lauren out and about. Lauren probably thought she was dead, anyone would probably think she was dead at this point. She had been keeping silent to herself the entire time, not trying to seem rude by not talking, it was just hard for her to. At certain points she tried to just stay asleep, but she kept being nudged to time and time again by Hana who kept asking her for a trash barrel. She was always half awake when she went to get it, but on the second day there was finally a point where she realized Hana had been throwing up. It seemed to start becoming more frequent, and finally she woke up from a nap hearing it, and she stood up and walked over so it was easier for Hana to see her, "I'm not going to bother asking you if you are okay... I think I know the answer... but are you sick with a flu?" Alice cautiously pressed a hand to Hana's forehead.
Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 | Day 52 : 3/5 | Music | Location: Westport, New Zealand| ooc: "May I have contact information? In case I make up mind soon." Adam nodded at her and pulled out a Tracphone. It was one he had gotten the day before using the remainder of his money as well as the money Elsie had given him as a gift. At least it gave him a form of contact. He opened up the address book and opened up a prewritten contact that was simply labeled "me" so he could easily access, and he held it out towards Cora so she could write it down. When she was done getting that, he closed up the phone and smiled at her saying, "Don't rush thinking just because we won't be here much longer. As long as you call us up, we'll make sure to come and get ya." Adam looked over at Henrik and Iris, Henrik seemed to be a little... different. Hm...hehehe. Why are you laughing, I am afraid. Past acquaintances sometimes try their best to show they have not changed, when they are usually the ones who changed the most... Watch your back around him for me? Adam looked back over at Cora and smiled at her saying, "Sorry for disturbing you, I hope you try to enjoy the rest of your day." Adam then walked away, without waiting for Henrik and Iris. Good job kiddo, I am proud of you. Are you? Would you rather me not be? I only did that because you made me. Adam, those words you said to her reminded me of the day to tried to argue for the Dark Angel's side the day Harbonah died. There was a passion to it, like it was truly coming from your heart. Why do you pretend that is not there? It makes me sad, you mean to tell me all of that was some facade? Adam stopped for a moment at those words and really thought about if for a few minutes. He took a seat on the beach and just looked at the ocean just to think about it. Before he finally whispered, "It wasn't a facade..." There better be some good coming out of this. Adam leaned back a bit and whispered, "But I've already done too much damage. The compass. I still have the dagger... the ring... I am armed and ready for the Dark Angels." You do not need to worry about that, the past is behind you. I am going to sound corny but it is never too late to make a change in your life. ...where do I start? There was a long pause before an excited cheer came and Adam jumped. Adam Graham Pike, please tell me you have just picked a side on your own. Adam was silent for a moment longer before he hugged his knees and whispered, "Don't tell anyone I can make decisions. It'll disappoint them." You have no idea how happy you have just made me... now... does something feel off to you? No... why? Something feels off... Adam shrugged it off and continued to sit on the beach for a little while more.
Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 | Day 52 : 2/5 | Music | Location: Westport, New Zealand| ooc: new font Adam felt himself shoved away when he was in the middle of talking. Why the hell did Henrik think all of a sudden that he was the big inspirational mover of the group? It worked with Lauren because they had common ground. But it wasn't going to work in this case, not with the words he was choosing. Adam moved himself closer before he spoke, "Stop bringing your children into recruitment attempts. I don't care if you are a father and they are important to you. I do not have that connection yet. But they aren't the only ones lost here. Others have lost loved ones. I have lost friends, family. I don't know who is left. I don't bring that into every recruitment session. And it is best you stop it now." Adam took a deep breath and looked over at Cora,"Look, I know. I am not making it better saying that. You want a drama-free life. And I understand that. I wish I still had that, but the unfortunate reality is that we don't get to make that choice when fate beats us to the punch. We need Fallen, we need people like you. We aren't randomly victimizing you on the street, that compass we told you about... I don't know why Joslyn refused to show it, but it finds people like us. I cannot promise we will win, I hope we win. But if we get you to help us, we can hopefully end this, and then after it all. You can find that peace and quiet you have always dreamed of having. We all can. But... if the people in Hell win... you will never get that peace... and we can only find power in numbers."
Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 | Day 52 : 2/4 | Music | Location: Taupo, New Zealand| ooc: new font The past two days he could admittedly say were rather interesting. He got a present first off, which he wasn't expecting. Especially since it was from one of the new people in the group. It was really generous of her, and he realized how much he actually missed sweets. He enjoyed the cupcake for as long as he could. When they went to recruit the one he soon knew to be named Cora, he was finally relieved that there was someone else that was a trouble to recruit, that wasn't being recruited by the Dark Angels at least. He wanted to leave that alone, so when the group split off between two different angels, he planned on just letting it all blow over and end. So are you going to recruit or not?I think you know the answer to that question. Why are you not going to?Who needs it, she clearly doesn't want to be bothered by it. There was a silence for a moment while he lied on the bed before he heard Semyaza continue. It's because Danel told you to stop recruiting for them, is that it? Adam didn't reply but he knew Semyaza knew what he would say, and he heard the chuckle in his head and he let out a sigh. Well you know what I am going to do now. Get up kiddo. Up up up! Adam sat up obediently and grabbed his bag and headed out of the hotel room. I am getting tired of this dog-like attitude Adam Pike. I also do not understand why it is such a problem for you to choose a side. Your heart cries to be with these people, but you still keep holding that Dark Angel part of you.Maybe I need a girl to replace Bonnie?HA! The last think you need right now is a girl. You sure?Do you want to be a daddy? Sex is completely different for you now that your powers are developed. And I am telling you right now, you become so attached to the girls you have a little fun with, you will hate it when they have to die.Die?I HAVE ALREADY EXPLAINED NEPHILIM TO YOU.Oh... right... Adam walked out of the hotel room and went down to the lobby and was surprised none of the usual trio were there yet. He was going to wait for them, but something told him he shouldn't wait for anyone else. He also had the feeling someone already wasn't waiting for him. He went to the apartment they went to the day before, and he knocked on the door and waited for a good amount of time. She did not seem to be home. He let out a sigh and whispered, "Well, she isn't here. I'll just go-" Do not think about giving up. Adam rolled his eyes and decided to leave the building and heard screaming in... Russian? Oh boy. Adam ran over to the beach because he assumed the Russian was Cora, too big of an assumption but he hadn't seen to many Russians around New Zealand. "I said once, I say again 'Good luck on zeh crusade or vhatever you call it.' I have no interest. I vill call zeh police if you and others harass me further." Adam noticed Henrik down the beach too and rolled his eyes, oh boy. What the heck did he do this time. Adam started walking a little too quickly and had actually bumped into Cora and he quickly let out an apology and looked over at Henrik quickly before he spoke, "Sorry, um... I heard you say you didn't want us to harass you any further, and I do not want you to think we are trying harass you. I didn't talk yesterday, but I am Adam. I am also in the group. I do not think our last attempts at talking to you worked too well, and I know you said you are not interested... but I wanted to try again and see if we can explain this any better... because we've done a pretty bad job already."
Lauren listened to Logan's response and then grinned and looked over back at Elsie and spoke, "I HAVE LEARNED THE SECRET TO RECRUITING!" Lauren clapped her hands together and leaned into Logan even though she was talking to Elsie, "Confusion! Lots and lots of confusion. It makes perfect sense! Who else would go along with this whole thing without being seriously confused." Lauren backed away from Logan and looked back between the two and spoke, "So this time, when we find the sorry fuck we are attempting to convert to Fallenangelism, we confuse the living daylights out of them. Only then, only then will we find a way to recruit them without relying on miracles." Lauren paused for a moment to contain her happy shaking before she held her arms out towards them, "So whaddya say, mates?"

Lauren blinked at the mention of voices, "You might wanna get those voices checked out, mate. You don't want anyone thinking you are insane." Lauren grabbed her head with her other arm, "If we aren't already." At the mention of God not hearing her, Lauren looked over at her with a glare, "Of course God can hear us. He isn't deaf. He just has selective hearing. Like my mother when I try to talk to her on the phone. I'm pretty sure he'll hear us if it is something important." Lauren shook her head and looked over at Elsie, "Anyway, this fallen angel thing. I don't think they can completely get by hoping that everyone has a supernatural experience that affect them personally causing them to have a change of heart." Lauren looked over at the group of people with them and then turned back, "For example." Lauren unwrapped her arm from Elsie and skipped over to Logan and leaned in front of him and spoke, "How did you get convinced to join this group?"
Lauren was still recovering from Alice's death, but she tried to remain as calm as possible. It became easier and easier with each passing day, but she kept getting the urge to destroy something intentionally. It only grew worse and worse as it went along, and she had no idea if there was anyone here who could even empathize with that. Recruitment with the girl named Cora didn't work out so well. People kept encouraging her not to talk, which made her a bit sad because she loved talking to new people. And the recruiting didn't even go that well, she probably could have done better with even less effort. Lauren heard Elsie mention something about the recruiting, and she walked over and clearly invaded her personal space by putting an arm around her shoulder, "I am assuming it goes something like this, mate. Walk up, oh you are an angel, expect something to click. I CAN SEE THE LIGHT I GO YOUR WAY. And then everything goes on smoothly. Kind of like those religions in American... moronism or jeho... jeho..." Lauren drifted off before she looked up again, "Something involving the oh so holy father up above. Holy father... aha... God... I didn't know he existed until 3 days ago. HEY GOD. MATE. I NEVER PASSED THAT ENGLISH TEST."
It's perfect! Thank you! -goes to change theme and everything-
I do not know if people got to you about it, people seem to forget that not everyone is in the skype chat. The day in Come Little Children ends...
