Xehanort is the older brother of Larry.

Xehanort was a strong fighter. Chosen by the Keyblade by the age of seven, learned all of the abilities by the age of ten, and by the age of thirteen he became the strongest fighter in their family.

One day, Xehanort decided to test his abilities and killed all of their family.
He pitied Larry(who was only 7 at the time) and let him escape.

Larry began to despise Xehanort. And on that very day. he promised himself that he would kill Xehanort.
