...my snow is better than Switzerlands snow... Have fun either way dude.
Because we are cool like that.
wacko...where the H have you been hiding?
Xaale, if my parents had done something like this, i would have left and walked home. I can understand how parents tease, but if you tell them to stop, then they should respect you and do it. I know that divorces can be hard on families and such, but you really need to talk to your dad one on one, no distractions, and tell him exactly how you feel. Tell him how much his comments hurt you and you need someone as a support. On the other hand, it's school. Kids will be kids no matter how much you try and tell them otherwise or try and change them. I'd suggest being the bigger person and just letting it slide off your shoulders. Either way, I hope that tommorrow brings better memories.
Interesting main character and writing choice to go first person, especially inside of the Star Wars universe. I might suggest double spacing paragraphs, but other than that, i'm liking this. There aren't that many Star Wars stories on this forum, but I want to read more.
Dynamic Thinkers are confident and independent persons. They radiate enthusiasm and energy. Dynamic Thinkers pursue their objectives actively and energetically. They love nothing better than new challenges. This type is the born leader, competent, energetic and responsible. They have a sharp eye for errors and can criticise without mercy if they see the success of a project endangered. They are completely unconcerned as to whether they alienate anyone in the process. But they are always open to objective arguments; they love discussions, they are very gifted rhetorically and they are good at convincing and enthusing others. As they are very sociable, Dynamic Thinkers like to have a lot of friends around them, preferably those with whom they can share their interests and discuss all sorts of subjects. They are very direct but never in an underhand or scheming manner. If you can bear being spoken to frankly, you have in them a loyal and unwavering advisor as friend. Everything new and unknown stimulates Dynamic Thinkers and awakens their curiosity. However, rules, routine and traditional things arouse their resistance. If something does not go the way they want it to, they can react rather pigheadedly and obstinately. Dynamic Thinkers expect a great deal of themselves and of others. Whoever does not fit in with their scheme of things does not have it easy. They sometimes appear to be rather severe due to their frankness. Partners and family also find it difficult to satisfy Dynamic Thinkers. They know exactly what they want and compromising is inconceivable to them. Whoever has an Dynamic Thinker as partner should have a strong personality and have a great deal of independence and sufficient self-confidence in order to give this dominating type some opposition. Normally, for Dynamic Thinkers, a partnership only takes second place after their profession. But they like to have someone at their side who is a match for them intellectually, with whom they can pursue mutual objectives and have interesting discussions all night long; preferably factual discussions - sentimentalism and romance are not their thing.

wow...necro bumped. Anyway, I was fascinated by the book when i first read it and it is one of my all time favorite books...I should find it and reread it for old times sake.
The dog part was cool, but the bull whip episode and the hockey part were the best...
Scranton is cooler. Enjoy man.
You watched the Time Warp marathon last night as well it seems.... Ashwa: It's astounding, that time is fleeting. Madness....takes...it's toll.
What is up?
ADVENT!!!! What the h, you can't change your name?!
It's cool.
....i do see where you are saying there are certain aspects....but i personally feel that that is attributed to the writing style. And about your statement that movies never live up to the books...that's marginalizing. Da Vinci was fairly accurate to the book, No Country for Old Men is scene for scene and word for word from the book.
It isn't for the weak hearted, that's for sure. But Nintendo Power is win over Game Informer.
...Da Vinci Code is not BASED on A&D, that would be like saying that Shawshank Redemption is based on 1408. If memory serves, Da Vinci Code may have commented once or twice on A&D but they aren't the same. Just saying.
Dead Space is amazing. I loved RE4, and my buddy let me play Dead Space at his house and I was blown away by the creepy element, and even though there is a limited story, i love it.
I suppose anything is possible, seeing as how i'm not affiliated with a set religion. However, this is a fictional book based on snippits of historic events. Therefore, I can't say that I believe it's plausible or false.
