The blue haired Geo Turk in the other whit uniform stared at Sero, just as he had pulled out his pistol. The green haired Geo Turk looked at Sero, then back over to the floor as he said "Listen, I'll talk later Reconnaissance. There's something this guy knows..." The green haired one hung up his cell and closed it, then slipped it back in his pocket. The six who were downed got back up and straightened up their uniforms. One of hem, a white haired one with a suitcase, checked his watch. "If you know where we can find the bloodling Zane, please tell us as we need his power after we kill him." Sero laughed. He knew that eight Geo Turks plus one criminal who should've gotten the death sentence years ago could stand up to a bloodling easily. And Sero knew the drill on what the guards did to dispose of bloodlings, but what he didn't quite know is that Zane was too weak to be used in Geo City by this point. "Well, I will say this. If you hang a bloodling in a strong enough chain for, say, five or six days, he will have grown extremely weak, unless you stab him and THEN hang him up." The brown haired Geo Turk pulled out a pair of glasses that turned into radar sensors. "I'm showing that he's not too far from here. Might this be the palace we're looking for?" he asked. The other green haired turk in a brown uniform coughed. "Of course it is. Don't be stupid. Reconnaissance specifically said to Gadget that the bloodling was HERE. And Gadget relayed to Hinge that the bloodling was here, and then Hinge came and told me, Speeder, Shotgun and Trigun, and we told you. Isn't that proof enough?" Chronix knew the names of the Geo Turks by heart, but he had never heard their on-duty business names.
Chronix, Jack and Sero got back to Chronix's house to find eight different bikes in front of it, all of which were parked. Chronix recognized the bikes as those he would have seen in Hedge Jek, they belonged to the Geo Turks, a group of special agents who worked for a company called Sub Zero Nega, S.Z.N. for short. S.Z.N. was a company dedicated to the extinction of Bloodlings so that their energy could be copied and turned into the power that generated the city of Geo. Chronix pulled out his sword and burst into the house, immediately clashing swords with six of the the eight business suited agents that were in his house. the other two were wearing white bike jackets and blue jeans and were both on their cell phones with the other Geo Turks. Chronix heard one of them say something about a bloodling. "Yeah," the one with bright green hair said into his cell phone, unenthusiastically looking over at the battle scene, "He was in this city, but now he's not here. Last we heard, he was in some castle place." Chronix heard Sero pull out his gun and blow five of the six Geo Turks backwards into the wall, silencing all again. "something about a bloodling, you said?" Sero said, smiling. "I think I know who you're looking for, then..."
Chronix was now wary of his surroundings, making sure nothing was coming up on him at all times with a spherical barrier of swords that he had stashed in his bike hovering around him. That way, anybody who tried to fight him would meet a pathetically funny death by crashing into the spiky ball that was moving in towards Flounder City. Chronix heard somebody laughing and looked out to see Jack slapping his bike while laughing at the spiky ball of doom that was Chronix. "Shut up." Chronix said, his face turning red.
OOC: (Hi, just got back. apparently, my internet problem was NOT fixed.) Chronix thought back to the strange sights he saw in the memories as he rode slowly around the countryside surrounding the cities Mysidia, Hedge Jek, Flounder, and a strange other city Chronix had never been to. Chronix thought he heard somebody behind him, but when he looked, there was nobody. Then, the noise got louder, but still nobody was around. Then, Chronix felt something slam into him and sent him flying through the air. Chronix managed to pull out his sword just in time before he hit ground and stabbed it into the hard cement road, flipping to his feet. Turning around, he didn't see anything. Then, a brown flash sped around in front of him, and Chronix felt a heavy blow to his chest. Then, it happened again. Chronix finally spun around with his sword, hitting the brown flash and sending it sprawling onto the ground. Looking down, Chronix saw that it was a rebel. Scoffing, Chronix picked up his bike and went for his house, Jack and Sero secretly following.
OOC: (Good to know I'm not alone. I had a virus that always shut my internet off when everyone else's was on. I just fixed it.)
Chronix woke up again in a strange blue hospital room. Looking around, he saw a strange magic enchantment on the walls, and green strands of light were coming out of his chest. Jack was asleep in a chair next to him, and Sero was out chatting with the doctor. Chronix tried to move to sit up, but found he was pinned by magic energy to the bed. Looking back at Jack, Chronix realized that he wasn't asleep, but rather chanting to keep the spell up. Chronix grimaced. Magi. He didn't care much for magician work or sorcery, but he was interested in the spell Jack was silently saying. Copying the words without speaking, Chronix followed at a steady pace with Jack's chanting. It sounded like a prayer of some sort, mixed in with Latin, German, Japanese, Chinese, Cantonese, Mexican and African. Suddenly, Jack looked up and saw that Chronix was awake. Jack stared at Chronix's poor attempt at a spell enchantment. "Sorry, but you have to be a Magi for that to work." Jack said mildly. Chronix sighed as the green energy strands disappeared and he was able to sit up again. "What was that spell?" Chronix asked, confused as to how magic worked. "The Healing Inner Mind spell. It takes twelve years to learn and eighteen years to master. Oh yeah, and you have to be Magi. Did I ever tell you that I'm actually 67 years old?" Chronix's eyes shot open. Jack didn't look a day over fifteen! Jack laughed heartily. "Magi have this thing where we don't age but we can be killed. Semi-immortality is NOT it, it's just some weird curse we're born with." Chronix looked down at the tattoo on Jack's wrist. He knew by now it was a curse mark, but he didn't realize Jack was born with it.
Chronix thought back of what he knew about himself: ~Okay, what I know so far is that I was supposedly a half-angel. I don't believe it though. So after my parents died, I was supposedly killed and went to heaven and experimented on, but the experiment failed from some freak accident, and I got sent here. Right. That sounds like bull to me. And how would those guys even know this about me? Were they like, secret agents or something? Or were they bloodlings or rebels who didn't have the heart enough to kill me on the spot before the bandit that did kill me? Hmph, well, I think it's just stupid. They assume too much, whoever they are. I am NOT a half angel. I am NOT a semi-human computer. I am Chronix Gear, and I'm human, and I'll find out about my REAL family.~ Chronix then looked at the pendent, and was lost in a strange scene, where two people, an Angel and a human, were walking together through Hinge Jek 20 years ago, before the freak accident that destroyed it. Chronix looked closely at the small baby the Angel had. It looked exactly like... "ME?!" Chronix said out loud, coming back to reality. "What?" Jack asked, sitting on a small pile of dead bandits. Sero chuckled. "Are you even alive in there, Chro?" Chronix blinked and shook his head, unbelieving. Then, he glared at the use of his pet name, Chro. Along with Chrickety Chro, Chronix hated both of Sero's stupid pet names for him. "Shut up." Chronix said. Chronix looked back down at the pendent and was sent into another memory where a bandit had killed him as a baby, the angel, and the human. A rebel boy went for Chronix, but Chronix disappeared. The rebel boy looked up into the older Chronix's eyes solemnly. Chronix shuddered at the realization that the Angel he saw at his door the other day looked exactly like the Angel who was holding him as a baby and walking with Chronix's father. Chronix's mind flashed up millions of different images before Chronix came back to reality, apparently knocked out from the incident. Sero was driving him on the back of his his bike. "Alive now, are we? Come on, we're getting you over to Mysidia. Jack says he knows a good doctor."
OOC: (Yay, teh buster sword!) Back on topic, The RP is starting right around now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sin looked out of the window of the strange flying contraption he was on. It looked like a glass and metal blimp with wings that acted as landing gears by flipping downward upon landing, and the ship had twelve rocket engines circling around it, making a big ring of rockets behind its propellers, which were facing the sky like a normal plane. Sin had originally thought the ship was a stupid idea, but the engineer of the Rebel group, Osmosa, who was also the NINJA of the group, had told Sin it was his ship and he had his own pilot so he could do what he wanted to the ship. Sin had grudgingly agreed to taking the ship and immediately changed the hot air balloon look it had to a blimp with wings and rockets. Sin looked over at his pilot, Osmosa, and sighed. "Take us to land port four of the Rebel camp, no screw ups this time." Last time, Sin's ship had crashed into a cliff while landing, and was therefore destroyed. Sin looked out at the rebel camp. As good and defensive as it was and as many good weapons it had, it still wasn't complete, somehow. Not to Sin, anyways.
I remember this character. Kay, I'll add you in too. Now there's only three more spots open.
OOC: (okay, I'm back. My night was packed. I had to take out trash and everything.) Sero was standing on a rooftop in the town of Hedge Jek City and surveyed the violence below. Sero smiled. "This is the TRUE heaven," he said to himself. Sero may not very well like killing things on his side, but he liked killing anything to do with bloodlings and criminals. Sero jumped off the building and shot one of the gang members around a flaming trash can in the head, and immediately eight more came and fought him. Smiling, Sero used one of his favorite martial arts: Sambo. Sero grabbed one of the gang members' arm and pulled him forward towards him while kicking him hard in the ribs. The man flew into a brick wall and cracked it. The other gang members attempted to shoot him, but Sero's reflexes had improved since the incident with the sniper rifle. Every bullet missed, but all the gang members had there own blood explode out of them as Sero shot each one twice in turn. "You guys aren't worthy of these streets." Sero looked around at the dead gang, then pulled out an unused bullet and chucked it into the still flaming trash can, then jumped as the entire half of the sidewalk burst into flames. Sero laughed wildly. Then, turning around, he saw Jack and Chronix coming into the town. Jack started fighting bloodlings while Chronix went for a gang nearby. "Coming to say hi, or are you just relieving stress?" Sero asked, already plenty aware of the answer. "Stress" Jack immediately replied. Chronix swung his sword wildly, blazing streams of lightning striking bloodlings and gang members alike. Chronix was fighting twenty of them altogether, ten gang members and ten bloodlings, one of which got chopped in half from a full on blow from the flare technique. Chronix super jumped into the air, did a flip and shot a gigantic disk of bright purple energy at one of the wrecked up buildings, shattering the top of it and causing it to collapse on the bloodlings and gang members, killing them instantly. "Kay, stress relieved." Chronix said as Jack stared in surprise at his speed. Jack was fighting over thirty bloodlings and bandits, and fifteen were already dead.
Yeah sure! Let me just add you to the list so I don't forget later.
Story: Welcome to Earth, three thousand years later. Humanity has frequently been upgraded to either good or bad status, and bad status are considered Faults. If you were to be born in this world now, you would most likely be lucky to have even survived birth. The Faults became the Dark Hunters, and the Successes became the Geo City Turks, or as they like to be called, Geo Busters. The Dark Hunters and the Geo Busters war frequently, and only few people have been smart enough to get out of the way or choose sides. A team of Rebels, against both sides, come to fight off both sides, and many have joined them, even Dark Hunters and Geo Busters who wanted to join the other sides. These rebels are simply called Neutralizers, or, more easily, STONEHENGE. Those who join STONEHENGE joined their own freedom. Which side would you choose if you were born in this planet? Would you even try? Welcome to Earth, year 5007. Welcome to chaos. OOC: (I'm sorry, but I can't RP tonight, so I'm leaving you with my characters going to a different town to relieve stress, I have to do a bunch of stuff tonight, and I won't get back until probably 11:05, and I'll be asleep then.) Signing off tonight, -Xendane See you guys tomorrow.
OOC: (Just got back from self defense class. My god, my chest hurts. Oh yeah, and I'll remember the tip.) Chronix woke up to the sound of Jack knocking on his door. When Chronix went to answer it, Jack just slammed the door open and smashed Chronix into the wall. "Jack, that HURT." Chronix said. "Sorry. Is Sero still here?" "No, he left three hours ago." Chronix replied, still a bit woozy from being smashed into the wall. Jack sighed. "Well, we kinda' need him. Ever been to Mysidia?" "Once or twice, I've PASSED it on the way back to my original hometown." "Which is?" Jack asked, feeling a bit more interested. "Well, I think the name was Hinge Jek City." Jack's eyes shot open. Hinge Jek. He had heard that city had fallen five years ago from an assault by a rebel group that nobody knew of. "Well, we're going to Henge Jek after Mysidia." "What's the big deal?" Chronix asked, rather confused. "Well..." Jack said, mysteriously. "I'd like to have a bit of fun. Doing nothing makes me feel stupid." "All that you'll find in Hinge Jek is criminals, rebels, possibly bloodlings and all sorts of bad stuff. Sero LOVES that city." "I bet he does." Jack said, rueful of Sero's bravery. OOC: (I don't know, I'm out of ideas right now!)
Jack had just gotten back to Mysidia when he found that there were some demons going through his town. "D*mn" Jack said, grabbing his spear and fighting them off. There were about ten there. When they were all gone, Jack said to himself "So, they've finally made it here. That means that Flounder will be next if they're not warned." Jack immediately got back on his bike and sped off back to Flounder to warn Chronix.
OOC: (Heh heh, I probably should have mentioned that. But, hey thanks! That's the first I've heard that one from anybody.) Chronix liked going around in circles in the countryside, so when he got back to the gates, he turned around and went out again. Chronix did something dangerous. He put his feet up on the bike's handle bars, leaned back in his seat, pulled out a book and started reading while driving with his feet, unaware that there was somebody watching him. Chronix had gotten to chapter 297 before he realized that he was being watched. Looking around at the person, he realized Jack was riding back to Mysidia giving him a really weird look and began laughing. "What? You've never seen a professional before?" Jack's eyes got wide, as he had heard from Sero that Chronix never smiled. And he was smiling right now. Chronix immediately turned around in the same position he was in somehow, and rode back to his house easily. OOC: (Yes, a long book, and Chronix has been practicing that trick since he got out of the army, so don't seem surprised that he can do that. Wait, was there something against fancy tricks like that?)
OOC: (Sorry, I'm still kinda' new at RPing. But I'm getting better.) Chronix went back inside and got on his computer. Even though it was midnight, Chronix didn't feel tired. Then, Chronix shut his computer off and instead got onto his bike for a ride around the countryside. Turning his engine on and riding out of the city, he noticed some guards and Princess Diana surrounding Zane. Chronix smirked and drove out through the city gates and into the countryside area. Usually, this allowed him to gather his thoughts. And his memory so far. ~Okay, my name is Chronix Ferisa Gear. I'm a seventeen and a half year old mercenary for hire, I used to work for a secret society, but I left because I don't like being a big shot. I was first class mercenary before I quit and became a for hire mercenary. My father was a knight, my mother was an angel, and they had me three years after marriage. I am five foot four I think. My sword was given to me by my old friend Max, just before he died. I met Jack today and have known Sero for eight and a half years. I joined the army at age fifteen and left at age sixteen because of a family matter with my cousin. I am now a bike riding mercenary, yadda yadda.~ Chronix was busy with his thoughts when his cell phone rang. The ringtone was very odd, it was a mix of Sandstorm Techno and the normal ringtones. He looked at the caller ID. It was Sero. "Yes?" Chronix asked. "Okay, I know I said by morning I would be gone, but I figure leave at midnight, don't get to have fun in the morning, so I'm just letting you know I'm gone at five tomorrow, alright?" "Hmph. Fine." Chronix hung up and turned around to go back.
Everyone had gone to bed, Jack was only staying the night before he went back to Mysidia, and Sero was going to try and get back home without being caught. Chronix was still awake, sitting outside and reading a book about a person who was a hero with a false memory. Chronix thought at one point he had heard something, but just kept reading. Eventually, Chronix fell asleep and woke up at midnight still outside.
OOC: (Yeah, sorry, I didn't read that part completely through. I just read the part about no fancy weapons like Bazookas. Jack loses his gun because he throws it away. and I'll try to prevent that from happening again.) Back at Chronix's house, Chronix indulged himself in Mercenary work, looking through his family tree, while Jack, who was trying in vain to fix his gun because a wire broke, threw it away. "Well, no use for that, then." Jack said dully. Sero was cleaning his gun and clothes, dressed in a completely new set of the same clothes. "Get over it, Semi-Autos are better anyhow. Cannons are cr*p if they're small. Like that one." Jack stared at Chronix, who was muttering something about "Father was a knight from a city named Praxis City, mother was an angel, two married and had me..." Jack rolled his eyes. ~There he goes again...~ he thought to himself. Chronix looked at the pendant he had. One side was a wing, the other side was a crown. It looked very odd. Returning to his work, Chronix made sure he was seeing this right.
OOC: (Kay, sure, why not?) Jack heard running behind him and pulled out his cannon gun, just in time to see Zane running up to Sero. Just in time, Jack shot a laser from his cannon which shot Zane all the way to the other side of the street, knocking him out cold. "This guy just doesn't quit." Sero said smiling and laughing at the watermelon on Zane's head.
