I don't believe the novels are actually officially translated, so you won't find them on the shelves in book stores. However I have seen chapters translated by fans on blog sites and the like. I recommend looking online, as opposed to in stores. Other members can probably help you more, as I imagine there are a fair few of them who have the blogs bookmarked.
Thanks. I'd had the idea for a while, but only bothered doing it recently, out of boredom. Styx' definition of poetry was a good one though, so...

One more person required, by my count.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that DS games weren't region locked. (Although I suppose they could still be for the purposes of codes?)
On one hand, I think Elfen Lied was incomplete and missing content in comparison to the manga (which it definitely was.) It cut out around a third of the way through the story. On the other hand, I think I prefer the ending of the anime to the ending of the manga. Both were pretty lacklustre. Even so, it didn't elaborate on the plot enough. There were too many holes left. It needed them to be wrapped up, at least.
What are you using to convert? Which formats are the videos you download in? Have you got Flip4Mac installed?
Awful lot of high-strung people on a day that's supposed to be about pot. :lolface:
I live in hope of one of those beauties getting caught in amber. It'll be beautiful. :=D:
I am going to be a bad Shinigami, and refrain from typing up a proper narrative for the capture of AwkwardFailure. Instead, I'll just say that it includes a large cake, many broken fingers, a dead bride and fifty-seven cracked bottles of vodka. GUILTY. Can we have a list for the new game?
Yeah, they seem to work better than the Canned Replies. Good job. Small qualm: Can we have them available in the quick-edit menu? They're not there ATM.
A few things. Firstly, Mplayer OSX Extended is by far the best player on Mac. I recommend using it over VLC. Secondly, you will need to convert the videos from whatever format they're in to an Apple format, such as .mov. ffmpegX or Handbrake, both freeware converters, can probably do this for you. Oh, and Quicktime Player is good for Mac formats only, unless you install Perian as an add-on. Even then, I'd still rather have Mplayer OSX Extended.
*490 .
Well the first few arcs of gathering the crew members are pretty good. Nami's arc was great. Have tissues. The Baroque Works saga and the Skypeia saga are lacklustre. They're where it falls down the most, IMO. Once you get through them and onto the Water 7 arc, it only gets better. Water 7 and onwards is where it really shines. So the first hundred or so episodes are good, the next hundred or so are meh, and from around 220 onwards, it becomes great. There are 590 episodes out so far. (It has the occasional filler arc, but they're not -too- bad, and are self-contained.)
Why thank you, m'dear.
So not really?
Naruto and Bleach started off strong and promising, while One Piece started off weak. Then Naruto got dragged down with horrible plot devices, an obsession with Sasuke by the author, fanbase and protagonist alike, and utter chaos. Bleach was good until Soul Society, at which point filler caught it. Also, the mangaka invents new characters when he has writer's block, which leads to bad writing. One Piece, on the other hand, has only improved. Since the lacklustre start, it has really picked up. There's precious little filler in comparison to Naruto/Bleach, the writing is incredibly well directed, with callbacks placed everywhere, and the overall tone has become more serious. Now people actually die. Also, Mother Sea. Oh gods, Mother Sea. ;_;
Roxas&Sora4E. I'm assuming that means that you support a Roxas x Sora ship.
So just some random character you found. She's not from anything. That's cool. I take it from your name that you're fond of yaoi/shounen-ai?
Living off of coffee and caffeinated Asian gum today. Trying to fix up sleeping patterns. Who's that in your avatar?
