the husks and shields both killed me once lol. idk i wasn't ready for anything and i kind of panicked trying to get the perfect shots. dying twice totally killed the hype and enthusiasm i had built up though.

what really gets me about the endings is

how the quarians got their homeworld back but the mass relays were destroyed so they'll never even get to see it again LOL

I'm just upset by how none of it makes any sense at all whatsoever, and the lack of any closure at all.

How could Anderson be in that chasm before Shepard, there's only ONE way to get to it, and you're speaking to him as he navigates a hallway similar to the Collector Base. How did Hackett even know Shepard was there if the entire forces were decimated? How did the Illusive Man get there? How is Shepard breathing in space? How did anything after you stepped inside that beam make any sense at all?

Oh boy, here we go. I love soundtracks that are unique and not just generic orchestral pieces. Not to say that orchestrated soundtracks are bad, but most just sound the same in my opinion. Not enough unique melodies. Here are some of my favorite songs from video games.

I love all of the Silent Hill soundtracks. They are simply amazing. Akira Yamaoka is a genius.

The Promise from FFXIII has to be one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever heard. The piano melody in the beginning is just... so great.

Blinded By Light easily has to be one of the best battle themes from FF. It is uplifting, inspiring and empowering.

Okay, so it's from XIII-2. Whatever. It's still good.

If there is one thing I love about Mass Effect, it has got to be the mixture of 80s synths and orchestrated pieces

The Uncharted Worlds theme from Mass Effect has to be one of the most memorable songs in the history of video games.

The scene associated with this track breaks my heart, and that is one thing that makes this song so good.

My favorite song from the ME trilogy. It is originally played near the end of the game in the original Mass Effect. It makes a comeback in ME3 and is played during the happiest and most heartbreaking moments. How a song can evoke two emotions that are polar opposite astounds me, but this song does it perfectly.

I liked playing as a Mage-Warrior. It's very satisfying to stab someone, and then throw a fireball directly in their face.

The scariest game I've ever played is Siren Blood Curse. I remember being terrified just by the demo, which is what sold me on it.

So. I'm at the end of Mass Effect 3.

And I'm talking to The Illusive Man while he's indoctrinated. I've been able to do all the Paragon dialogue options since the scene started, but I can't access the "But you already have" option. I'm at full Paragon. This is really disappointing. I don't even feel like finishing the game because I know I won't get the ~perfect~ ending now.
