I didn't mean "Who cares?" literally. All I was trying to do was express my lack of excitement and enthusiasm over the announcement.

Trust me, you don't need to tell me how great XIII is. I love it, and it's one of my favorite games in the series. The thing that bugs me the most is I always felt the sequels were unnecessary. I loved XIII's ending, in fact I think it's perfect. It was the end of the adventure, and thanks to Fang and Vanille sacrificing themselves, there was peace and balance again. Snow and Serah (and Lightning) were reunited, as were Sazh and Dajh. I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me shed a few tears. It was grand... Then they announce that there'd be a XIII-2, and that ending lost much of its meaning to me. That's why I'm even more upset by there being a XIII-3. Not to mention postponing Versus, thus postponing KH3 from even being started.

You say that, and I understand, but this is Final Fantasy. It is Square's flagship title, their main event. No developer can offer what Square does with Final Fantasy. These games used to be made with great passion and care. It doesn't feel like that to me anymore, not with XIII-2. That's why I'm scared for XIII-3. I still have hope left in Square, but it's dwindling fast.

I know what you mean. I love those things as well, but I'm just getting tired of them. I want something fresh. I want new characters and a new adventure with a great big world for me to explore.

But, like you said, it's just personal opinion. :\

I care that they're running Final Fantasy into the ground

I don't even have a PS2 anymore, so I can't play any of the KH games. This is why I really want them to release an HD collection with KH, KH2, and Re:CoM.
