While in his opinion it felt a little quick to already be going on a mission, but what better way to forge a friendship than through fire right? He hoped so, but if not Stein could always take Spirit to help them out, and get them out of any messes they might be in. "Right, the debrief. Well, you two are traveling to Egypt to one of the great pyramids. As the mission board said, there us a Kishin soul trapped inside one of the tombs, you are to collect it. Due to danger within the pyramid, it has been sealed, so when you get there you will not only have to break the seal, but also navigate a labyrinth of sorts before you come across what you are looking for. When yo do, do not expect the fight to be easy. While the pharaoh is long dead, once a soul turns kishin, it is no longer human, so a human death does not effect it. Once you defeat the body, the kishin egg will be released and if Dana consumes it, it will be gone for good and the first soul towards the 99 you need before you can become a death weapon." It sounds like it could be an interesting idea, the only thing that makes me nervous is to do with being in a previous rp that someone did a similar concept where it ended up being excuses to bring back certain characters and it became very cliquey and hard to fit into. And the other thing with such a wide crossover is crossing over with character that were from different era's, even with characters from Media. So that might be an issue to think of addressing when making it, or else you will have many very confused characters. Besides that it sounds like it could be a good idea and if there is anything you need help with I am always willing to try and help.

Backstory: Malik was an orphan running the streets of Death city when Dr Stein found him. Dr Stein recognized a rare ability in the boy, the ability to match soul wave lengths with any weapon. Stein decided to make something out of the street rat and take him in, not to train at the DWMA but to train him personally. Malik was not only taught to be a Meister of one weapon, but of many so that no matter who he came across he had the ability to use their weapon form. When his training was done he joined the DWMA but not as staff or student. His purpose was to help train weapons that didn't have a compatible Meister yet. First set of mission have been posted. Each mission will have a different set of challenges for you to complete in order to succeed and each is completed differently. You won't know the missions until you come across them. As a reminder more than one team is allowed to take on a mission and race each other to finish it, unless it is a mission that requires more than two students, if that is the case then you must work with another pair to complete the mission together.
"Welcome to the DWMA. I am Doctor Stein and I will be your teacher for the year along with Lord Deaths personal Death Scythe, Spirit. We will teach you both fighting technique and history of the kishin souls that you are to hunt. We are also here to answer any questions that you might have at any time." A pale faced man stood in front of a class of new students to the DWMA. His voice was dull, almost bored sounding as he went over the basic introduction to the classes and such and covering the things Lord Death probably missed during his personal welcome. "Now I trust you all looked at the pairings posted on the outside of the door. If you have not made yourself acquainted with your partner yet, I would suggest you do that soon for you will be working with each other for the remainder of your time at the DWMA. As you all know Meisters are responsible for training weapons to become a death scythe. This requires skill and effort from both weapon and meister. You need to learn to work together with your partner if you ever want to be successful and have your wave lengths sync. You do not have to worry about that yet however, for now just try to get along and we will talk about the rest on a later date." "Classes are not to be attended every day, rather every few days. While they are important, we find field skill more important and constructive when it comes to learning. In order to graduate the academy you will need to collect 99 kishin soul, and 1 witch soul. She is so great and she is my little girl. She did so well." The sound of someone clearing their throat brought Spirit out of his dreamy state as Stein stepped forward once more. "Thank you Spirit. You can stop scaring the students now. Class is dismissed. I suggest that you look at the mission board and start considering what missions you might want to go on, as well as getting to know your partner better. Nothing worse than getting in an argument in the middle of battle, it is the quickest way to get yourself killed, isn't that right Spirit." Stein glared at Spirit slightly before turning his attention back to the class. "Feel free to approach us if you have any questions. You may go." He finally finished turning around and sitting in his chair backwards so he leaned his chest against the back of the chair and crossed his arms over the top, chewing on his toothpick while observing the class. Glen I am a little worried with how you talk about the assassin clan, but I will talk to you privately about that. You shouldn't have to change the premise of the backstory, just perhaps add a detail or two.

At first not considered dangerous, the more desperate they got the more dangerous they became. Seven police officer have now been killed by the couple and their accomplices. Bonnie and Clyde have partnered with Clyde's brother Buck, his wife Blanche, and a man by the name of William Jones. We have discovered the location that they are hiding out in preparing for their next heist, but they have littered it with traps. Your job is to find the location and navigate your way through the abandoned building and put a stop to this gang before they strike again. Students required: 4 students (2 teams) Accepted by:Chaol Arroway and Hannah Swift, and Matthew Loring and Mikio Ticchi Mission Details: This mission is not as cut and dry as the other ones. Unfortunately we don’t exactly know who the culprit of this case is, but we know whoever it is, is a kishin and needs to be stopped. There was an investigator previously working on the case but right before he solved it and we could get the name he disappeared. Your goal is to find him and defeat the kishin. The man we are after is head of an oil heist and the last movements were near the shipping docks. There seems to be a kishin soul inside a pharaoh. You are to go to the great pyramid and collect this soul. While it might be contained it is still dangerous. Death Academy that is. Yes you heard that right I Lord death am welcoming you to the DWMA. You must be the new class. For those of you that don’t already know, DWMA stands for Death Weapon Meister Academy. So basically we train up our students and get them ready for forge a death scythe. How do they do this you might ask? Well that is simple; by collecting 99 kishin souls and one witch soul, your weapon can be transformed into my own personal death scythe. This isn’t as easy as one might thing, for meister and weapon to get along is difficult in itself. A Kishin soul is a soul that has become corrupt, general through committing major crimes. Once a soul turns Kishin it is our job to deal with it and protect the people of the world. I can’t do this on my own, that is why I created the DWMA. During your time here you won’t only collect Kishin souls to further your goal of creating a death scythe, but also for the sake of protecting humanity. Now that we have the basics covered, what do you say we get into the details of your time at this school. In the main hall you will find a board with missions listed on it. You are allowed to take any mission you like as long as your partner agrees on it. The Meister isn’t greater than the weapon, and the weapon isn’t greater than it’s meister. You are both equal and partners in this, and thus you get equal say. Some missions are harder than others and might involve more than one Meister Weapon pair to complete, make sure you sign up with someone that you can work with. More than one pair is allowed to take on a task; it will just be a race to see who completes it first. That being said you may not sabotage the others chances. These tasks are to improve your skills as weapons and meisters, the race will only prove to challenge you more. You do not live on campus, but you and your partner are more than welcome to rent yourselves a place in the city below. Any free time can be spent at the school or in the town, it is up to you. Now then, shall I go over the school rules for you all? 1. You must respect the other meisters and weapons. If you find you aren’t getting along with them you can talk to me 2. I will assign your partner. I know going around with your best friend sounds fun and all, but sometime you just aren’t a compatible match. That is why you leave the match making to the expert 3. Romance is allowed at this school, but I suggest you don’t take it too far, you might make the others uncomfortable 4. I know you are busy with your normal classes on top of your missions, but please try and work on your mission at least once a week. (Post at least once a week) 5. If you plan to be absent from school for more than a week you must talk to me or else I might have to send some of my best Meisters out looking for you to make sure you aren’t hurt 6. I have done something similar in the past with one of my more successful roleplays. It wasn't same universe at the same time but after the first roleplay ended I made two others. One was the future of that universe what it was like three hundred years after the the first one, which had an end event that would have substantially changed how things were. The other was 2000 years in the past, talking about the origins of the main antagonist and how he became bad as well as the importance of a few of the relics in the main thread. So I think they could work well depending on how you plan to do them. I have never tried several during the same time, but I do know another thread that is going to be doing that where after the first spot the threat spreads out and so does the party, but they spread out enough trying to fit it all in one thread is too much, so there will be three threads, three stories, one universe. Since it hasn't started yet I don't know exactly how it will work but I think if anything happens in one that would effect the others the person running the rp would just make a post in the other thread when the timelines line up showing the relevant scene. Personally I think franchise rps are cool but require a dedicated group of people to work well.
I know that a similar thread was made, but I just want to go back to the basic and see what sort of roleplays that people would like to see made. It is sad how slow the rpa has gotten and I would like to see the rpa active again. I was starting to think maybe if there was more rps to look at a choose from it might attract more people to the rpa. If there were more options, styles and level of skill involved perhaps just that could help things a little. That being said I want to know what kind and level of rps do you want to see. Would you like fandom based rps? Original Advanced? Survival? School life? Romance? I can't promise I will make everything well, but I can try and if someone wants to show me up, go right ahead. This is just a random idea to help make things better.

While he and the mage worked on bombarding the creature with fire, another stepped in with steel to finish the thing on. The way she turned to smile at them was like she was taking credit for it all, when he knew perfectly well that without the mage finding the weakness, and him and the mage providing cover fire, it wouldn't have been possible. Either way it didn't matter who took credit, Veera was inside the castle and he planned to get he out, and alive. Keenan waited no time before charging inside the castle. When he got through the threshold however he paused for a moment surveying the situation. An undead Aaron was fighting Veera, they both seemed injure but Aaron didn't seem to care. Then there was the mage from earlier, Kruez if he remembered correctly. He was up against the monster that had started all this. On top of all this Solomon was summoning more undead. Keenan was left with a choice. He could help Vera like he so desperately wanted to, or he could hold the lines for everyone, deal with all the weak undead and leave a battle field that was more in their favor. Ultimately it came down to the fact that Solomon needed to die, but they needed to get to him to kill hm. Take off the head, kill the body. That wad the theory that Keenan hose to go with. "Just hang in there a little longer Veera." Keenan mumbled as he turned away from his friend and instead turned to Solomon, or more importantly the zombies blocking the path to him. Keenan used a blast of fire to get their attention and kill a good few of them before preparing his sword and joining the Frey of battle, his goal, to clear a path to Solomon. Seth's words were harsh but true in a way. They were in trouble but she had somewhere safe to leave Gregory. However she and Talon did not have a place to go or even a way out of the city yet. Matilda didn't know what to say to Seth, so was relieved when Sigmund stepped in. "That would be much appreciated Sir Sigmund. I would have to fetch my brother though and ask my uncle to watch Greg, I don't want him near the mess until we can track down my parents and contact them to help us. Do you mind if I go fetch Talon quick?" Matilda requested politely as she bowed to Sigmund in gratitude. Seth took the command to back off, and moved back towards Tessa. He wasn't going to do anything that might harm their chances at help. Besides if Matilda took the route of escape, she would end up in the same place as them, along with her brother, who was hopefully more reasonable. If he wasn't more reasonable, he at least hoped that he would help keep the two girls from killing each other. Seth was not a fan of getting between them, it could end up biting him in the butt, so he would rather avoid it.

A turn here, a little tweak there, another flame painted on for decoration…. There, it should be perfect. Dante held up his new alcohol thrower, rather proud of it. With one hand he reached to his phone so he could hit play for the sound effect when Link obtained a new item in the Legend of Zelda series. Unfortunately his phone was completely dead, and he had been out of power for quite some time now. The cabin that he was staying in came equipped with a generator. It wasn’t uncommon for loss of power that far into the middle of nowhere, and because it was the middle of nowhere it took a while to come back on, so the backup generator was well needed. Unfortunately that had run out of gas a couple weeks before as well, so he was really at a loss, meaning no fantastic sound effects. Sound effect or not, Dante was one step closer to perfecting his burning alcohol thrower…. B.A.T! That was what he would call it. It was brilliant…. Brilliant! And unlike Yzma, Dante didn’t have anyone looking over his shoulder to tell him what was wrong with his plan. Then again if it was a girl, he might not mind so much. As long as she was hot…. Then again a naggy girl was not so hot so maybe it did matter. Either way there were no hot girls here, so what he didn’t have to worry his precious brain about it. After a moment of cleaning up and selecting the least tasty alcohol to fill small bottles with, Dante was back on his way up to the roof with the B.A.T to give it another test run, this time without lighting his pants on fire. When he got up to the roof however he noticed something off. While usually a couple of zombies made their way around this area every so often, this time it was not like that. From his vantage point on the roof top, he could see a whole hoard of zombie. They weren’t headed towards him thankfully but instead the idiot who tried to sell him weed earlier. “Haha loser.” Dante chuckled to himself as he watched. “Well I guess the hero always has to go save the day. Time to take this baby for a field run.” A coy smile crossed Dante’s mouth as he rushed back into the cabin. He tied a headband around his head, filled a belt full of small bottles of alcohol, put on some face paint in a tribal style and then grabbed his car topper and horseshoe, hanging the latter on his belt and marched out the door in the direction of the Zombie hoard. “Dun. Dun, dun, dun. Dun, dun dun. Dun dun duuuuuuuun. Dun. Dun, dun dun. Dun, dun, dun. Dun, dun duuuun. Rising up, back on the streets” Dante started to sing as he set off on his journey towards the hoard. It wasn’t long before he neared them and shot off the B.A.T. successfully landing the flaming bottle of booze in the middle of the pack, catching two of the zombies on fire in the process. “Did someone call for a hero?” He yelled from the other side of the hoard at the people who were there. He then swung the panago car topper at the head of a zombie that had taken note of him, sending it stumbling back. With that spare moment he used it to smash the things head in as blood splattered on his face making him look even more epic. He might not have been the hero that they needed or wanted, but it was what they got. 24/30 remaining, killed 3
