It felt rude to stare, but Stella couldn't help but watch as yet another person was lead into the room, this one slightly older looking than the rest of them. It wasn't like he was old, old, just old enough to be out of date-able range without being old enough to be her father. This wasn't a bad thing however. Maristela didn't exactly understand what they would be doing, but whatever it was, it was for a high family. Maristela couldn't imagine what a few teens would be able to do on their own, so perhaps the older person was a good thing. Looking at him, she wondered what he was thinking after entering a room of teenagers. He couldn't just be thinking about his job, could he? Who cared if he put his job on hold or not, or why. When a high family summons you, you don't say no.

Though she was already sitting on a couch, when they were instructed to take a seat, Maristela got up and moved to the table where everyone else was. It made her feel less out of place if she at least did that compared to being the one off to the side just to sit in the comfortable seats. Selecting the chair beside Kio, Stella sat down at the table quietly. Her eyes moved around the room nervously as it started to feel everything was getting more serious. The threat, while making Stella uncomfortable, was understandable. It was the high families they were dealing with after all. Maristella didn't expect however for the person who entered after to be an older lady. Stella could tell she was quite beautiful in her younger years, and even now kept an air of sophisticated beauty to her.

With head down and eyes slightly averted, Stella listened to what the old lady had to say. It started as niceties that Sella wasn't sure she was supposed to respond to, then moved into the actual topic... Or would have if she had not distracted herself with a joke. Nodding her agreement, Stella hoped it was enough to move the conversation forward. She was getting slightly anxious just because she didn't know what was going on. She always hated that feeling of not knowing, and the anticipation waiting for an answer to come.

Warning. This contains spoilers, if you have not finished the game. Anyways I was kinda winging it the entire time for this. Didn't have many ideas and took it as I went. It is a slower editing style than I normally do, but all in all I don't think it is too bad.

"Or I could call security. I don't take kindly to stalkers." The man replied flatly. The way this girl kept persuing him was a little creepy and made him a bit suspicious. She was only a kid, so how much could she do? But then again he was only a kid when he joined the mafia. Walking over to one of the security people, he spoke quietly to the man before pointing at Dana to have her removed. Which the security guard promptly asked Dana to leave. Meanwhile the man took some precautions of his own, flipping out his phone and sending a few messages.

"Thank you." The man said in a dull tone as he got a refill of his champagne, only for relaxing evening of drowning himself in alcohol until it was time for the meeting, to be interrupted by a rather rude young lady. "Servant? What is it with stuck up woman and thinking they are so high and mighty. You realize there is no such thing as servants in this day and age. Did your parents read you too many fairy tales before you ran away from home tonight? It is probably way past your bedtime anyways. Why don't you run away home before you get yourself in too much trouble kid." The man said walking off once more, clearly annoyed.

The woman was busy talking when the girl bumped into her. She turned with a sharp gaze at first, but soon smoothed it out to seem kind and elegant.
"It is okay my dear, but in a place like this you really must pay more attention to where you are going, step on the hem of the wrong persons dress and you can be in big trouble that someone of your...age likely won't be able to afford." She told the girl before trying to turn back to the conversation she was having. This didn't work either however since a boy approached with apparently news for her. "I don't believe we have met. Who might you be young man, and what sort of news would warrant my attention when I am busy with a rather important conversation already?"

By the time the two made it into the office, the slave seemed like he was in slightly worse shape than before. He was chained in a corner of the office away from everyone else. His eye had begun to turn black as he sat quietly, more quietly than normal. In the time it took to follow he had fought back once more and got a swift punch in the face to shut him up for the time being. The Slaver sat behind a desk with a stack of papers in front of him. When the two entered the office he signaled for them to take a seat. He had them sign the paper work, just ones to transfer the money, and one to transfer ownership of the person. When it was all said and done, he through the key at them, taking his own set of paper work and leaving the room. The office was one used for this purpose, it wasn't decorated, nothing to take in there. It was a side spot for guests of the ship to meet and deal.

When the Slave trader left the office and the door shut behind him, the man slowly looked up. He had not decided if these people were on his side or not, he had very little trust for others.
"Congratulations you are now the owner of a one armed slave with a bad attitude. What are you going to do with him first?" He asked in a bitter tone, speaking in English assuming that they would understand. It has been so long since he was able to speak in English to people, he missed the language. However when you are a slave you have to at least learn to speak the trader tongue, it was the one thing that was universal no matter where he went.

The man was idly looking around not really paying attention too much to the people around him. His black and blue mask obscured his gaze as he looked around the room, scowling at the girls talking way louder than they needed to. Due to that he got up and walked away, rolling his eyes, off to find more champagne

Sitting in her office Dania was going through their finances, seeing how much money they had to spare on this ship in preparation for the lists coming in. The back of her mind she wondered how the situation with the slave was going on. Soon the first list came in from her Captain. "As a reminder, please mark what is of utmost importance and what are things you want. I will try to accommodate everything, but I must make sure that money is put towards the necessities first and foremost." She said as a general announcement over the communicators before she started to mull over the list.

It wasn't long before she decided she couldn't focus, she had seen on the screens that some people were returning to the ship. She had heard nothing about the slave, and seen no evidence of them returning to the ship. Finally getting a little impatient, Dania came over the communicators once more.
"Status update. What is the situation with the slave? Is there anything I can do to help with this?" Dania requested, even if it meant getting money together, she would do whatever she could to help.

    Masquerade

It was a wide variety of people who entered the hall in which the masquerade was held. It was clear that this masquerade ball didn't cater to only one social class, but to all. While everyone was dressed up with masks on, the quality and finery of the clothing changed depending on the person. Servers walked around with glasses of champagne, and there was a band at the front adding the back drop music. So far no one was really dancing, instead just mingling with each other. The hall was grand with a staircase leading up towards the back. Crystal chandeliers hung low, casting a dim light in the hall.

A woman in a stunning red dress weaved her way through the crowd. Her blond hair lay flat down her back, and her long lashes batted as she spoke to a man in the crowd, laughing a delicate, innocent laugh. There was nothing innocent about this woman however. Unless you know what you were looking for, no one would ever pick out that this woman was a world renown arms dealer. She seemed to blend in perfectly with the rest of the crowd and gave off the same aura as everyone else. Just someone here to have a good time.

In another part of the hall, a young man leaned against the wall, champagne glass in his hand, the golden liquid swirling as he spun it. There was a sense of boredom to him. As the newly appointed leader of a small mafia group in town, he had to do things like this, however he wished that it involved less people. He much preferred it when he could simply murder his way through things, just like he did to get this spot. Now he was forced to meet an arms dealer, and not even on his own terms. He just hoped the goods were well worth it.

Mission: Your goal is to find a way to isolate and take out the two kishin without disrupting the party. How you do it however, is completely up to you, so impress me.

Lord Death turned around a little and shrugged. "Then I guess you should go sign up." He said. Sign ups didn't go through him, he just spoke on the missions on occasion. It didn't matter in the end to him who took what as long as they didn't die.

"Ah Zoey and Dana, right? Come have a seat. It seems your first mission went well. Now then lets get to the matter at hand."Spirit tapped his stack of papers on the desk, trying to seem professional. "Your target is a lady by the name of Rosaline Blackthron. She is a world renown and dangerous weapon dealer. For all the talk about how good she is, it seemed that she has slipped up. A contact of ours has informed us that she will be attending a Masquerade ball in the heart of New York City tomorrow night to make one of her bigger trades to the local mafia there. Both Miss Blackthorn and the leader of the Mafia that she is trading with are on our list of Kishin's that need to be brought to an end. Your job is to attend the ball and take them both out without any civilian casualties and without anyone knowing what you are up to. This Masquerade is one of the biggest fundraisers in New York, do not compromise that. You are to take out the two Kishin souls without disturbing the party, do you understand? When you are ready to go, visit Lord Death and he will provide transport to New York where you will meet a limousine that will take you to the party. He will also provide appropriate outfits for the party. Stick together and if there is any problems, please call. Oh one more thing. Another team has already taken the mission. You will have to work hard if you are going to beat them to the souls. You are dismissed." Spirit handed out profiles on Rosaline Blackthorn and then sent the two on their way so that he could return to what he was doing previously.

"Uh.. woah... what?" Magic shouldn't have been anything new to her, after all she could see an manipulate dreams. That being said it still caught her off guard, the way the white light reached out to her and a warm sensation washed over her arm, taking the pain away. "Eh, it is okay. I was just startled is all." She said with a nervous laugh. She didn't know what else to say on the subject. Was she to share what her powers were? Was there a point to it? Perhaps, perhaps not, but with so many unknowns she chose not to say anything.

Awkwardly walking into the room, she took a seat and folded her hands in her lap, keeping her eyes down. She always felt weird just making herself at home in a place that was not her home. Not wanting to embarrass herself anymore she decided to keep her mouth shut, that was until Kio spoke up again asking about what they did.
"Oh um... I do nothing special. I just help at my mothers bakery... well actually it was my fathers, but he died a long time ago and mom has been running the bakery ever since and I have been helping her ever since I was old enough to be of help." Stella rambled on not realizing he was talking so much, it was just a nervous habit of hers.

The slaver's expression tightened as he tightened his grip on the mans chains, yanking them slightly. He clearly was not impressed with the fact that someone was smart enough to read the sign and understand it properly. There was some deliberation on the traders part as he thought through his options. He could still try for more, but if they gave up, especially on such a broken man, then he would not make that much money on the man again. Still he was bitter on the matter and looked over at the slave, who thankfully had stayed quiet for once.

"20 and 40 and he is yours."
The slaver said as he glanced over at the man who had said he would pay before. "I assume you are the one in charge of these children? Perhaps you should put chains on them too. Keep them in control." He scoffed, clearly not impressed with the way things were going. "Meet me in the office and bring the money, the papers will be waiting." It was clear he was frustrated as he turned to leave, yanking the mans chains hard enough to make him fall forward. He tried to brace is fall with one hand, but it merely slowed it for a moment before his arm gave out and he hit the ground. The slaver let out a gruff laugh before giving the man a kick in the side and ordering him to his feet, disappearing down and corridor.

The next intersection you come to has three doors. Above the doors is written. Through these doors are three deadly things. One is safer than the other two, choose correct and you might make it out alive.

Above door two is: assassins with guns
Above door three is: Hungry lions that haven’t eaten for three years

A dog... huh.... That was the last thing that she expected from the man that she had just healed. Not only was it a dog, but a magical dog that helped people up. Chalk one up for new experiences on this adventure. Even with the dogs help people were still going down and Aislinn couldn't help but cringe, she wanted to help but she knew she was drained, not an ounce of magic left in her. With that the case it meant she had to instead focus on taking out the threat before it took them out.

Lord Death listened to Zoey speak and listened to her request. "Hmm... Well as far as I know, no there isn't." He told her. "I can however get you a leather blindfold if you want, it is slightly stronger, and then see if professor Stien has any ideas. It would be a good idea to have if we can come up with it." He offered before handing the blindfold he brought off to Dana so she could help Zoey with it. "I am glad you two have talked things over. It is good to see children getting along and so happy. And I am sure in no time you two will be back out there collecting Kishin souls. Speaking of which, how was your mission. You two ran out of here pretty fast." He pointed out.

"H-he's gone..." The one that was previously crying, stammered as she looked up at the boys. "That is great news!" The girl said as she jumped up and gave Rodrick a kiss on the lips. "Before you two go, as payment for your service, we would like to offer you a night. It is on the house. You can choose which one of us you like best, we will make it worth the while." She offered, indicating to the other two girls that were with her before.

The bidding was slow, which suited the man fine. If he went for cheap then they wouldn't want him around long and perhaps he could get away. If he did get away he didn't know what he would do with himself. Perhaps he would just kill himself, it was better than being a slave to someone else. Or perhaps he could try and find those humans, though that would require a ship, and that wouldn't happen. He studied the last bidder, the one that he assumed was going to put a claim on him, and a new mark of ownership, when there was one more bid. Glancing over it wasn't just another alien that bid, but the voice seemed to come from a purple haired girl. Purple, just like that annoying little brat on the Everlast that always had a habit of making him smile. He thought back to the ship for a quick moment before his thoughts were interrupted by a sharp yank on his chains as he was lead away until the end of the auction.

When the auction eventually came to a close, the man was taken back to the stage to meet with the person who had bought him. The alien handling the man had a bit of a devious grin on his face as he studied the girl.
"So that will be 65 Kuffles. Plus an additional 30 for transfer costs. And 80 for the documentation. When the money is in hand and the papers are signed, he is yours to do as you please with." The alien told Kathi. The costs were completely made up and usually cost 10 and 20 respectively but seeing as this was a human buying another human, he had a feeling that he could get away with getting more money out of this, and since he was forced to sell the slave for so cheap, may as well take what he could get. The man meanwhile kept his eyes down, refusing to let himself build false hope towards being with his own kind until the transfer was complete. He knew that the pricing was not realistic but his entire body hurt and he didn't want to make things worse on himself.

"I see. Well that is a problem. I will go check on the girls. Malik, since you aren't a teacher I can't ask much of you, but go get Professor Stien and have him deal with the other girls." Lord Death instructed the man who stood in front of him. Spirit glanced over wondering what exactly Lord Death was thinking and what the whole story was, no one had been given that much information on this Zoey girls condition. It was strange for him to be all secretive. Lord Death however waved it off like it was nothing big and soon did something he rarely did, left the mirror room.

Lord Death was soon standing in the nurses office, a new blindfold in hand.
"Well it sounds like you two have had quite a first day at Death Academy. I am sorry to hear that. We will work harder on preventing accidents like this from happening in the future. Does your partner know anything yet? If not it is something you two need to work out if you ever want your souls to resonate." Lord Death instructed not being particularly subtle.

More people down, the more hopeless this was feeling, but that didn't stop Aislinn from trying to help.
