Dania nodded and patiently waited until Simon was done before scooping up Keith in her arms just as Simon was leaving. She held him, making faces at him and tickling his belly, trying to make him laugh. She was of course listening to April while she did this, but she had to take advantage of time with the baby as well. She didn't know when she would have time to pop by for cuddles again, and being one of the only babies on the ship it seemed that he was in high demand at times. It wasn't all about Keith though, April was a good friend of Dania's and Dania did enjoy the normal company. One could on't take so much talking to Garrett, he was a good enough guy and all but far too serious most of the time. There was only so much of that that Dania could take. Taking in everything that was being said Dania looked down at the map as April spoke. "I know. I know it won't be easy. I am just.... we are desperate. We can't live on this ship forever, Keith can't live in this room forever. I want to do what is best for everyone. At this point I feel we are running out of places to go to. We get chased off most planets. Perhaps if we can make it there then we will finally be safe. I don't think there is much for life dwelling on that planet, but if it is possible, then we should take what we can get. We are fighters after all, the human race has survived this long without a home. I just hope I can be the one to end our wandering." She spoke sounding rather stressed about things. The spot that April pointed out to enter from would make the trip longer, but safer and Dania had to stop and consider it for a moment. "Safety is more important than speed to our location. As long as we can navigate to the planet or the ship then how long it takes doesn't matter, as long as we are safe, or as safe as we can be. I wish there was a better way...." She sighed. John ended up looking away from Kathi as she spoke to him. He tried to approach her to talk about the Everlasting and the past, but he was embarrassed about passing out and found it harder to face her. She suggested he got himself better before they went back to that conversation, and while that was understandable, it still made him a bit uncomfortable. She said not to apologize, but he couldn't help but feel bad for passing out, he went on this huge rant and then just passed out, it wasn't right but he couldn't change any of it now. John say quiet for a long time and let Kathi finish saying everything that she had to say, which ended with his name. "Dressel." He echoed, like he was testing the name on the tip of his tongue. He sat there thinking about it for a moment. "Right... Dressel. It... It has been so long since I have spoken that name. We weren't allowed our names, not on slave ships, they didn't care." He said slowly, barely looking up at Kathi after she also spoke of her father, and just a moment before she had mentioned she was the only Rieson on the ship. "I am sorry for your loss by the way..." He said quietly seeming uncomfortable, like after he had been so eager to talk he was at a loss for words now. He hadn't known what to expect when facing Kathi again, but it was more difficult to do than he thought when he wasn't doing all the talking. Before he could mess up more, Simon entered the room once more and John glanced over at him as he asked what had happened. John looked at Kathi for help, but spoke himself anyways trying to explain the best he could. "I- uh. Since you said it was okay to leave, I went to talk to Kathi. I guess I got worked up or something... I don't quite know, at one moment she was approaching me, then I woke up here." He explained basically all he could remember about it. There was not much else to share, not when there wasn't much else he could remember. Bits and pieces of the conversation, but it didn't matter, not in this context.
So there was no information that they could get on the invasion, but she supposed that was what she had a partner for. Soon other guards approached Pheobus and asked him to go with them, meanwhile Stratos offered his to follow while they went to Notre Dame. Aislinn nodded her agreement instead of saying anything. After what happened with Luna, she didn't need to bring more attention their way. "I wish you luck and perhaps I will see you around again." Aislinn told Pheobus with a smile before turning away. "Follow the music huh? Well I suppose we need to get somewhere we can hear the music before following it. This square is far too crowded." Aislinn mumbled mostly to herself before looking around finding the nearest road out. "I am going this way, if you two care to follow." She told them, not expecting them to follow if they didn't want to, but taking it upon herself to make the first move as she left the main square to go into a more calm area as she listened for the music from there, trying to drown out the noise and performers from where she just came from.
Score, they hit him dead on! How was that for perfect aim? He smiled at himself and felt a sense of accomplishment as his heart calmed slightly. Then Ria got up and started talking. "Aw come on, why aren't you dead?" He complained as he watched Ria start talking to himself and turned to the others. "Okay, is it just me, or that person completely insane? Like not slightly, this person is weird, but like complete on another plain of existence, weird." Cerdic expressed looking at the others with raised eyebrow. Soon Ria disappeared and he sat there thinking for a moment, remembering things. "I knew you all loved me in someway!" Cerdic announced. They all got along, that was some sort of love for him right? That was a good thing. "Perhaps it was because I came with with such an awesome name for us. Clever right?" Cerdic continued on talking, perhaps a little too much. Of course there was the comments of him being a dick, but he kind of passed those off. "It isn't that I am a dick, it is you just forgot you got used to it I assume." He stated. He shrugged. As they kept talking, Cerdic glanced around and shifted a little bit. "Um, you know we probably shouldn't just sit around the place we were ATTACKED! Maybe moving out of here would be a good thing before the creepy dude decides to return with a bigger army. So shall we go." He tried to just seem like logical thinking and not paranoid thinking, especially as his eyes drifted to the sky as he watched the damn bird circling. The quicker he got away from that thing, the better it was too.
Good game everyone. Well played. It was fun
Aislinn looked confused for a second, then straightened herself out. "My apologies. I didn't mean to offend you, is there a more proper way that I should greet people here?" She asked Pheobus before he turned his attention to Luna and Aislinn just sort of shook her head. "Luna he probably just went to view one of the performers and slipped away while you weren't looking." She said with a sigh trying to cover her tracks. Ananta then proceeded to introduce them all, even though Aislinn already introduced herself. And how this girl knew her name was beyond her. They hadn't spoken at all. "You mentioned an invasion didn't you? Do you mind me asking what that is about?" They did have to defeat the monsters, perhaps this would lead them to said monsters.
+5HP for Cerdic please
Cerdic was getting ready for his next attack when he noticed a light, and the he-she thing going to use it. Suddenly he realized he knew what that was, he had used it before, he had to.... help? No that couldn't possibly be right. He didn't help people to do things, he just did them on his own to be awesome. There had to be some way to make this work in his favour. Cerdic pondered that for a moment before stepping up to it. "Fear not I can handle this!" He announced as he pointed his keyblade at Ria. "Now begone fowl beast!"
Okay here is the most important question of all. How do you put up with us RPA freaks?
There was a shout from the other side of the heartless... cabbage, that was a new one. At least it was better than being a dog. He actually liked cabbage, it was what made him so handsome after all. Cabbage was good for you, why would that be an insult? And then there was the pretty girl, but she was young. "Don't worry my dear. If the dog is smart then he will work his way through this... Unless you are saying he is too stupid too, which I wouldn't blame you if you were." He threw her comment back at her before turning to notice something odd happening with the Heartless. There was an opening and he could see Ria. No longer would the dog and the he-she get the glory. It was his turn now. Glory to the Militesi Empire! "Right, now it is my turn to be the hero! Watch out you creepy dude becau- oh.... oh... on no... NOT THE FACEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" A flash of darkness came at them and Cerdic through his hands up to protect his face, but it was not enough. Suddenly a sharp pain went through him and he was knocked back. There was pain, then something hard connecting with his back, then more darkness. What had happened? Was he dead? No it wasn't possible he was far too young and beautiful to die. Something obviously happened though, and he had to get up. It was like swimming through the darkness and he couldn't find the surface. Where was the surface. It had to come soon, somewhere.... Finally there was light. Cerdic gasped for air as he came to. Standing up he brushed himself off. "Once more I was able to save myself from death!" He announced like he somehow did the work himself. He wouldn't even consider the fact that someone else saved him, obvious he had done all the work himself, and it was all thanks to him that he got himself up. Great now his coat was all dirty. That was just great. Dry cleaning was expensive and he didn't think that he would have time or money to do it in the near future. Someone was going to be paying for his coat to be cleaned at the end of this. For now however, there was a clear opening. It was time to be a hero. Summoning his keyblade to his hand, Cerdic got ready to charge. "You will pay for wrecking my jacket! Literally! After I kick your butt however. I will not let you let you get away with this!" He shouted as he ran forward full speed, keyblade swinging. A sly smile crossed his face as his feet left the ground and he swung down, slashing at Ria before jumping back. "You will pay." He growled at her as he prepared himself for a counter just in case. Word Count: 482 Total BP Used: 20 Damage Done: 20 Ria's HP: 60/200
Thank you for inviting me and then reminding me of that invite. I wasn't going to join unless pestered to do so. But in the end it was a lot of fun. I am glad I stepped out of the rpa for this. Have fun finishing this game without me. I will be watching and probably laughing my ass off
Just before Ailsinn entered the portal a woman approached and spoke a warning to her. "Thanks for that, but I was simply trying to boost confidence of my teammate. Positive thinking is always a good thing, especially in such a task. Good luck." Aislinn said with a bow of her head before walking through the portal. On the other side Aislinn found herself immersed in a world with what seemed to be a festival of some sort. As soon as she saw that she let the keyblade disappear from her hand and strolled into the crowd to watch what was going on. She found herself smiling and clapping her hands watching the show, almost not noticing when a man approached them. She turned and smiled when he approached. "Unfortunately, I am new in town. I would be happy to give you a hand finding it though if you like. It would help familiarize me with the town as well." Aislinn offered the man. "My name is Aislinn by the way, pleasure to meet you." She smiled.
Well guess I don't need this anymore
Masquerade Things were going pretty well in Rosaline's mind. She listened and took notes on the order as Blake spoke to her, doing a mental inventory of what she had to sell. "I think we could work out a deal. Would you like even amounts of everything, or do you want your money put towards one sort of weapon?" Rosaline asked just as a boy walked in and she got to her feet. After a moment she recognized it as the boy from before. She glanced back at Blake. "So he belongs to you. You really should hire better help." Rosaline warned before sitting back down to relax. "Anyway what do you need most of?" She asked again.
After introductions Aislinn listened to Yue and nodded. So it was time to start. She was ready. "Good luck, see you on the other side." Aislinn said to Stratos after glancing at her keyblade. "Defeating monsters and save a guy, can't be that bad, we've got this." She said with a small smile before entering the portal to bring her to La Cite Des Cloches. There was a sense of anxiety as she stepped through the portal, the unknown that awaited beyond. However this was her chance to do something that could save her world. She could become a keyblade master and save everyone.
Kiara listened for a moment. Well a simple yes would suffice, but she supposed what he said provided the answer she sought anyhow. "Okay, sounds fair enough. As for the conditions, let me think." She sat silent for a moment before looking up at him again. "The conditions are as followed. One, no use of magic at all. Two, a tag has to involve a full touch with the palm of your hand. No brush of fingers or kicking me in the leg to win. And the third condition is, this. There will be a boundary for each of us. At all times you will have to have one foot in the circle I draw at least. The area to the left and right of you will not be big enough for me to slip by without you being able to touch me." Kiara replied crossing her arms. "These are the conditions, if you have chalk, I will draw out the field of battle." She finished.
Dania strolled through the halls of the ship questioning her own thoughts. Perhaps she shouldn't bother April. Keith might have been sleeping or April could have needed the extra rest, but at the same time Dania needed answers. She was okay at navigation stuff herself but she would rather have a second opinion. While April might have been on maternity leave, when there was barely over 100 people left, they couldn't afford not to have people work in some ways, though she tried to keep it minimal. Arriving at April's room, Dania knocked before letting herself in, only to see Simon already there. She walked over to the sink and started washing up first, knowing that April would murder her if she didn't. "Simon, April, good to see you." She chose to use first names since it was not technically a completely formal visit. Yes she was here about work, but she also wanted baby cuddles, and she was tired of acting so distant and just being the leader. "How is Keith doing?" She asked deciding to start with the easy small talk before bringing up what she had come here to talk about. She took a seat on a chair nearby and pulled out some maps. "If you don't mind.... I would like you to look over some of these maps for me. I need a second opinion on how we might navigate through an area like this. I know it is going to be dangerous, but I think that Emma can handle it, and we might have a real shot of doing something that will prove of use." Dania explained before her eyes drifted over to Keith. "Um... May I?" She asked not really hiding that she really wanted to cuddle the baby. It was nearly an hour before John woke up. He was disoriented, understandably so. Last he remembered he had been waiting for Kathi, and... what happened? He looked across to where she was sitting, and struggled to sit slightly. His head spun as he sat up and he put his good hand to his head to try and calm it down. "What happened?" He asked her as he slowly realized where he was at least. There was some things he was starting to piece together himself, but he would rather hear the answer from someone else. John also noted that Simon was not in the room, he assumed that it was a good thing. If the doctor wasn't there then nothing could be too majorly wrong. After a moment, while he still wasn't clear on what happened, John thought he should say something at least. "I'm sorry." He didn't really know what he was sorry for, but it felt like it was the right thing to say. He knew that he had gone to talk to Kathi, and somewhere in there he must have passed out. He might have freaked her out or hurt her or something in the area. He didn't want to have offended or hurt her in any way. She was a sort of hope for him. She meant that people did survive from the Everlasting. That there was still hope that not everyone he had ever known was dead. After all Kathi was sitting right there.
There was an opening. Perfect! He knew he could do it! With the opening Cerdic ran to the inner circle getting ready to be the hero (There will be a proper post responding to other people later)
Bonnie and Clyde Once more the group of four came to a dead end and were forced to turn back
